Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of mechanical clamps, in particular to a three-jaw lathe chuck.
Background
Machining thin-shell type workpieces sometimes requires the use of a three-jaw chuck to hold the workpiece tight from the workpiece cavity. In order to reduce the deformation of the workpiece, a smaller clamping force is required, but the workpiece is easy to fall off in the processing process due to the smaller clamping force, so that the workpiece is scrapped and the safety accident is caused.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to solve the technical problem that the existing chuck causes workpiece falling in the process of machining workpieces, and provides the three-jaw lathe chuck which is simple to manufacture, convenient and reliable to use, capable of downwards pressing the workpieces from the cavity inside the clamped workpieces, and capable of tightly supporting the workpieces by three jaws, screwing down a compression screw outside the chassis so as to drive a compression arm in the cavity of the tightly pressed workpieces to downwards move and press on a flange of an inner cavity of the workpieces, so that the workpieces are tightly pressed on a positioning plane, and the workpieces are prevented from moving or falling in the machining process.
The clamping device is provided with a base, a compression screw, a pin shaft, a compression arm, a spring and a push rod, and is fixed on the chuck body through a mounting screw.
The right side of the base is provided with a screw hole, the screw hole is connected with the compression screw, the left side of the base is provided with a unthreaded hole, the push rod is connected with the unthreaded hole, and the push rod is nested with a spring and is arranged in the unthreaded hole; the base top is equipped with the pinhole, compresses tightly the arm and links the base through the round pin axle.
Preferably, the three pressing devices are respectively a first pressing device, a second pressing device and a third pressing device, and the three clamping jaws are respectively a first clamping jaw, a second clamping jaw and a third clamping jaw.
Preferably, the first and second jaws are fixed to both sides of the first compressing device, the second and third jaws are fixed to both sides of the second compressing device, and the first and third jaws are fixed to both sides of the third compressing device.
Preferably, the base is in a step shape, the base is provided with a positioning plane, the screw hole contains an internal screw, the unthreaded hole is in a step shape, and the base is installed and linked on the chuck body through the installation screw;

(4) According to the invention, the pressing arm is sickle-shaped and is fixed on the base through the pin shaft, the installed pressing arm swings around the pin shaft under the drive of the pressing screw, and the front end of the pressing arm swings downwards to press a workpiece.
(5) In the invention, one end of the push rod and one end of the compression screw are respectively provided with a ball head, and the two ball heads are propped against two ends of the compression arm, so that when the compression arm rotates around the pin shaft, a workpiece is compressed and loosened.

As shown in fig. 1, the three-jaw lathe chuck is provided with a chuck body 12, a pressing device and jaws, wherein the pressing device is provided with a base 2, a first pressing screw 1, a pin 19, a pressing arm 4, a spring 5 and a push rod 6, and as shown in fig. 3, the pressing device is fixed on the chuck body 12 through mounting screws 9, and the number of the mounting screws 9 is four.
As shown in fig. 2, the total number of the pressing devices is 3, namely a first pressing device 13, a second pressing device 14 and a third pressing device 15; the number of the clamping jaws is 3, namely a first clamping jaw 16, a second clamping jaw 17 and a third clamping jaw 18; the first and second jaws 16, 17 are distributed on both sides of the first compressing device 13, the second and third jaws 16, 17 are distributed on both sides of the second compressing device 14, and the first and third jaws 16, 18 are distributed on both sides of the third compressing device 15.
As shown in fig. 4, the base 2 is stepped, and the upper plane thereof is a positioning plane for supporting the workpiece 10; the inside of the base 2 is provided with a long groove which is penetrated up and down, and the upper end of the base 2 is provided with a pin hole 3 for installing a pressing arm 4; the right side of the base 2 is provided with a screw hole 7 for installing the first compression screw 1, and the left side of the base 2 is provided with a light hole 8 for installing the push rod 6 and the spring 5; as shown in fig. 3, four bolt holes are formed in the base 2, and the base 2 and the chuck body 12 are fixed by installing four mounting screws 9, namely, the pressing device is fixed on the chuck body 12;

The pressing arm 4 is clamped between the ball head of the push rod 6 and the ball head of the first pressing screw 1, as shown in fig. 5, the pressing arm 4 is in a sickle shape, a pin hole 3 is arranged in the middle of the pressing arm 4 and coincides with the pin hole of the base 2, the pressing arm 4 is fixedly connected with the base 2 through a pin shaft 20, a screw hole is formed in the front end of the pressing arm 2 and used for installing the second pressing screw 11, one end of the second pressing screw 11 is provided with a ball head, and the ball head abuts against a flange 19 of an inner cavity of a workpiece.
The working principle of the invention is as follows:
After the three-jaw chuck tightens the workpiece 10, the first compression screw 1 is screwed, the compression arm 4 can move around the pin shaft 20 under the driving of the first compression screw 1, and the upper end of the compression arm 4 swings downwards to compress the workpiece 10. The first compression screw 1 drives the compression arm 4 positioned in the inner cavity of the compressed workpiece to move downwards to press the flange 19 of the inner cavity of the workpiece, so that the compressed workpiece 10 is compressed on the positioning plane of the base 2, and the workpiece is prevented from moving or falling off in the processing process.
The first compression screw 1 is loosened, the ball head of the push rod 6 is propped outwards against the lower end of the compression arm 4 under the pushing of the spring 5, the lower end of the compression arm 4 is pushed outwards, the compression arm 4 swings around the pin shaft 20, and the upper end of the compression arm 4 swings upwards to loosen the workpiece 10.
