Detailed Description
In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a more thorough understanding of the present invention. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that embodiments of the invention may be practiced without one or more of these details. In other instances, well-known features have not been described in detail in order to avoid obscuring the embodiments of the invention.
In the following description, a detailed structure will be presented for a thorough understanding of embodiments of the present invention. It will be apparent that embodiments of the invention may be practiced without limitation to the specific details that are set forth by those skilled in the art.
The invention discloses a steam valve. The steam valve may be used for cooking appliances such as electric rice cookers, electric pressure cookers, and the like.
As shown in fig. 1, the steam valve 10 is configured to include a steam valve body 11. The steam valve body 11 is generally configured in a cake shape, in which a labyrinth-like steam passage (not shown) is provided. The steam passage intersects the upper and lower surfaces of the steam valve body 11 to form a steam inlet 18 (shown in fig. 2) and a steam outlet 19, respectively. During cooking, the cooking space of the cooking appliance is communicated with the outside through the steam channel of the steam valve 10, and forms a certain micro-pressure environment relative to the outside. In addition, the steam valve 10 may also function as an anti-overflow.
According to the steam valve 10 of the present invention, a recess 15 is provided at the top of the steam valve body 11. The recess 15 has an accommodating space into which a user can grasp to move the steam valve 10 to perform various desired operations, such as mounting or dismounting the steam valve 10 to or from a cooking appliance. Therefore, an opening special for disassembling the steam valve is omitted from the cooking utensil, and the mode of arranging the concave part at the top has little influence on the overall appearance of the steam valve.
Specifically, in the embodiment shown in fig. 1 and 2, the projection of the concave portion 15 on the horizontal plane is circular as viewed in the top-down direction. In other words, the recess 15 is configured as an annular groove recessed downward at the top of the steam valve body 11, having opposite outer and inner side walls 151 and 152. When it is desired to move the steam valve 10, a user may extend his fingers into the recess 15 and attach to the inner side wall 152 to achieve a grip. Thus, the portion surrounded by the inner sidewall 152 may be referred to as the grip 12. The concave part 15 is in a circular ring shape, so that the holding part 12 can be held at various angles in the horizontal direction, and the use is convenient. Of course, the recess 15 may be provided in other ring shapes, such as square ring shape, five-sided ring shape, etc., as needed.
The concave portion 15 may be formed by downwardly concave the top of the steam valve body 11 at a portion corresponding to the concave portion 15, or may be formed by upwardly convex the top of the steam valve body 11 at a portion other than the concave portion 15. In the embodiment shown in fig. 1 and 2, a surrounding portion 131 is formed at a portion of the top of the steam valve body 11 located at the outer periphery of the recess portion 15. The surrounding portion 131 is configured in a circular shape and is upwardly convex, and a concave receiving space is defined in the surrounding portion 131. The inner side wall of the surrounding portion 131 is formed as the outer side wall 151 of the recess portion 15. Accordingly, the grip 12 may be formed separately, fixedly connected to the steam valve body 11, and surrounded by the surrounding portion 131. The portion of the space between the surrounding portion 131 and the grip portion 12 is formed as a recess 15.
Fig. 4 shows a steam valve 110 according to another embodiment of the invention. The top of the steam valve body 111 is provided with two recesses 115 at intervals. When it is desired to move the steam valve 110, the user may insert the thumb and other fingers into the respective receiving spaces of the two recesses 115 and grasp the portion between the two recesses 115 to achieve gripping. Likewise, the portion between the two depressions 115 may also be referred to as the grip 112. Wherein, the projection of the concave portion 115 on the horizontal plane is substantially rectangular. Of course, in the present embodiment, the recess 115 may be configured in a circular shape, an oval shape, or other shapes. In addition, a plurality of concave portions 115 arranged at intervals can be arranged to accommodate different fingers respectively according to needs, so that the user can keep comfortable posture of the fingers when grasping, and meanwhile, the structure can realize the function of grasping at all angles in the horizontal direction.
Turning now to the embodiment shown in fig. 1 and 2. For ease of handling, the inner side wall 152 of the recess 15 is preferably configured to gradually incline toward the center of the ring shape in a top-down direction. The above structure facilitates the force generation when the fingers are in contact with the inner sidewall 152, and allows easier gripping action. The inner side wall 152 is also a side wall of the grip 12. In other words, the grip 12 may be constructed in a tapered structure with a large upper end and a small lower end. For example, the grip 12 may preferably be configured as an inverted cone or an inverted truncated cone.
Likewise, the outer side wall 151 of the recess 15 may be configured in a shape gradually inclined toward the center of the ring shape in a direction from top to bottom, and the degree of inclination may be linear or nonlinear. In other words, on a plane passing through the axis of the ring, the intersection of the outer sidewall 151 with the plane may be a straight line or an arc line. Preferably, the angle b between the projection line of the inner side wall 152 and the projection line of the outer side wall 151 is set to be not less than 30 ° on a plane passing through the axis of the ring shape. For example, b may take 40 ° or 45 °. This has the advantage that the space of the recess 15 at the opening can be enlarged, so that a finger can easily extend into it. It will be appreciated that when the intersection of the outer sidewall 151 and/or the inner sidewall 152 with the plane is an arc, the included angle b should be the included angle of the tangent to the arc. Preferably, the distance between the outer side wall 151 and the inner side wall 152 along the annular radial direction is set to be not less than 9mm, so that the accommodating space of the recess 15 can adapt to the size of fingers of most people, and the fingers can be conveniently inserted. In this embodiment, the distance between the two is 12mm.
Preferably, the steam outlet 19 may be provided at the bottom of the recess 15 and near the outer side wall 151. In this way, when the steam flows out from the steam outlet 19, the outer side wall 151 can play a role of guiding, so that the steam flows in a direction away from the cooking appliance, and adverse effects on the surface of the cooking appliance caused by direct contact of the steam are avoided.
In addition, the top surface of the grip portion 12 may be flush with the upper edge of the outer side wall 151 of the recess portion 15 (i.e., the upper edge of the surrounding portion 131), or may be slightly higher. Preferably, the distance a in the vertical direction of the top surface of the grip 12 from the upper edge of the outer sidewall 151 may range from 0 to 10mm, for example, in one embodiment, a may take 5mm. The grip portion 12 is thus of a larger size for ease of gripping.
In general, the steam valve 10 is mostly made of plastic material by injection molding in a mold. For ease of manufacture, as shown in fig. 2, the steam valve body 11 is configured to include two parts, an upper valve cover 13 and a lower valve cover 14, which are detachably connected. The structure is convenient to clean or maintain. A series of crisscrossed rib positions are arranged on the opposite surfaces of the valve upper cover 13 and/or the valve lower cover 14, and when the two are buckled, paths among the rib positions form a labyrinth-shaped steam channel. Wherein the steam outlet 19 is provided on the valve upper cover 13 and the steam inlet 18 is provided on the valve lower cover 14. In a preferred embodiment, the valve upper cover 13 and the valve lower cover 14 are rotatably locked by a lock catch. A sealing ring may be provided between the valve upper cover 13 and the valve lower cover 14 to ensure a sealing effect.
The surrounding portion 131 is provided on the top of the valve upper cover 13. The grip portion 12 is fixedly connected to the valve upper cover 13 and surrounded by the surrounding portion 131.
It will be appreciated that the respective shapes of the grip portion, the recess portion and the steam valve body are preferred embodiments from the standpoint of convenience of use and manufacturing, and that the respective parts may have other shapes when the manufacturing process, design or use requirement changes. For example, the concave portion is configured in a square ring shape or the steam valve body is configured in a square shape, or the like. And the steam valve body can also be constructed as an integrally formed structure without being divided into an upper valve cover and a lower valve cover. Those skilled in the art can flexibly choose according to the level of production technology and design requirements.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a cooking appliance. The cooking appliance according to the present invention may be an electric rice cooker, an electric pressure cooker or other electric heating appliances, and may have various functions of cooking porridge or the like in addition to the function of cooking rice. Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is to be understood that although not all structures of the cooking appliance are shown in the drawings, the cooking appliance according to the present invention may be constructed to include a cover and a pot.
An inner pot can be arranged in the pot body. In one embodiment, a cylindrical inner pot accommodating part is arranged inside the pot body. The inner pot can be freely placed in or taken out from the inner pot containing part, so that the inner pot can be conveniently cleaned. Of course, the inner pot may be fixedly provided in the inner pot accommodating part. A heating device such as a heating plate is generally provided below the inner pan.
Fig. 5 shows a cover of the cooking appliance. The cover 20 is generally configured in the shape of a rounded rectangular parallelepiped. It will be appreciated that the shape of the pot described above should be compatible with the shape of the lid 20. In one embodiment, the lid 20 may be pivotally connected to the pot by a pivot shaft to allow for opening and closing relative to the pot. When the cover 20 is covered on the cooker body, it covers the inner pot and forms a cooking space with the inner pot.
The cooking appliance further comprises a steam valve 10. The steam inlet and the steam outlet of the steam valve can be respectively communicated with the cooking space and the outside. The steam valve has a labyrinth-like steam passage structure inside. During cooking, the cooking space is communicated with the outside through the steam valve, and a certain micropressure environment is formed relative to the outside. In addition, the steam valve can also play an anti-overflow role. As shown in fig. 5, in the present embodiment, the steam valve 10 is detachably provided on the cover 20. Preferably, the top of the cover 20 is provided with a downwardly concave mounting groove 21. The cover 20 has a passage (not shown) therein communicating the installation groove 21 and the cooking space. The steam valve 10 is detachably provided in the mounting groove 21 and communicates with the cooking space through a passage.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 5 and 6, the passage for the steam to circulate in the cover 20 forms an opening 22 in the surface of the cover 20. Of course, in the present embodiment, the opening 22 is located at the bottom of the mounting groove 21. As further shown in fig. 2 and 3, the steam valve body 11 has an outwardly protruding mounting portion 16 thereon. The steam channel of the steam valve 10 forms a steam inlet 18 at the free end of the mounting portion 16. The mounting portion 16 of the steam valve 10 extends into an opening 22 in the cover 20 to complete the installation. Thus, the opening 22 may also become the mounting opening 22. After the installation is completed, the steam valve body 11 is accommodated in the installation groove 21. Whereby the steam valve 10 is mostly embedded in the cover 20, making it firmly mounted. And the cover body 20 can play a protective role to prevent the steam valve 10 from being knocked by foreign objects. In addition, the opening or gap on the surface of the cover body 20 can be reduced, the sanitary dead angle is reduced, and the cleaning is convenient. And simultaneously, the whole structure is attractive.
Preferably, the mounting portion 16 is cylindrically configured to conform to the shape of the mounting opening 22. It will be appreciated that in order to facilitate handling of the steam valve 10 for disassembly and assembly, the recess 15 and the mounting 16 of the steam valve 10 should be provided on opposite sides of the steam valve body 11. Thus, as shown in fig. 2, the mounting portion 16 is provided on the valve lower cover 14.
As shown in fig. 6 and 7, a seal 23 is provided between the mounting portion 16 and the mounting port 22 to prevent leakage of steam at the junction therebetween. The seal member 23 is fixedly provided on the cover 20, and is configured in a cylindrical shape to conform to the shape of the mounting port 22 and the mounting portion 16. As shown in fig. 7, a stopper rib 24 protruding in the radial direction is provided on the inner side surface of the seal member 23. Turning again to fig. 6, in a state in which the steam valve 10 is mounted to the cover 20, the mounting portion 16 thereof is interference-fitted with the stopper rib 24. Not only can the sealing effect be ensured, but also the mounting strength can be improved.
As further shown in fig. 2 and 3, a back-off 17 protruding radially outward is further provided at an end of the mounting portion 16. When the steam valve 10 is mounted to the cover 20, the back-off 17 is in interference fit with the inner side wall of the sealing member 23 and is located below the limit rib 24. That is, when the steam valve 10 is removed, the back-off 17 needs to pass through the limiting rib 24 upwards, so as to generate a blocking effect, and the mounting portion 16 cannot be easily separated from the mounting opening 22, so that the steam valve 10 is prevented from being removed from the cover 20 undesirably. Wherein the distance c that the back-off 17 protrudes from the outer surface of the mounting portion 16 should be greater than or equal to 0.2mm, and the distance d that the back-off 17 extends in the axial direction from the end of the mounting portion 16 should be adapted to the arrangement position of the stopper rib 24 such that the back-off 17 is located below the stopper rib 24 when the steam valve 10 is mounted to the cover 20.
The cooking appliance according to the present invention is described above. In the above embodiment, the steam valve is mounted on the top of the cover. It will be appreciated that in other embodiments, the steam valve may be located elsewhere on the lid or mounted to the pot. Those skilled in the art can flexibly design the choice.
According to the steam valve and the cooking utensil with the steam valve, the steam valve is provided with the concave part, so that the steam valve is convenient to hold, a user can conveniently hold and move the steam valve to execute required operation, a gap for disassembling the steam valve can be prevented from being specially formed in the cover body, the production process is reduced, the strength of the cover body can be improved, and the surface of the cover body is easy to clean.
