Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for supplying a product for filling a device.
Background
DE 102011085283 a1 discloses a device for metering a pulverulent filler. The device comprises a metering wheel having a plurality of metering chambers for receiving the filling material, wherein the plurality of metering chambers are formed by a common component and the common component can be moved by an adjusting element in the radial direction of the metering wheel in order to vary the volume of the metering chambers.
The charge to be dosed is often provided by a fixedly mounted powder transfer device.
Disclosure of Invention
The aim of the invention is to simplify the operation of replacing the product reservoir. This object is achieved by the device according to the invention.
In contrast, the device for supplying products according to the invention has the following advantages: the handling during the replacement of an empty product container is simplified. According to the invention, a movable part is provided for this purpose, which at least partially surrounds the conveying means. The movable part comprises at least one connecting stub for receiving the product reservoir. By providing a movable part, the lifting or pivoting device can be eliminated. In particular, in the case of a rotation of 180 °, the product reservoir can be deflected downward, so that the operator can replace it more easily. The product reservoir is then deflected upward again, so that it no longer interferes with other necessary operating processes of the operator.
In an expedient further development, at least one drive is provided for actuating the movable component. Preferably, the drive is arranged on a wall of the filling machine. Thereby further simplifying replacement of the product reservoir.
In an expedient development, the movable part is at least partially sleeve-shaped. Particularly preferably, the movable part is configured to be rotatable about the conveying means, in particular about the worm. The relative position of the movable component with respect to the axis of rotation of the conveying means can thereby be maintained, so that no new calibration process of the movable component with respect to the conveying means has to be carried out.
In an expedient further development, the movable part is designed in at least two parts and comprises at least one connecting element which is releasably connected to a section of the movable part which at least partially surrounds the delivery means. The connecting element can be removed simply for cleaning purposes and improves the ease of maintenance.
The movable part comprises at least one fastening means, in particular for fastening a connection and/or a product reservoir d, and/or at least one actuating means and/or at least one shut-off valve. All components necessary for the replacement process can therefore be arranged easily accessible. Particularly preferably, these components are arranged on the connecting piece, thereby further improving the cleaning possibilities.
In an expedient further development, a fixing means is provided, which acts on the movable part. If the fastening means is released, the movable part can first be removed. The tube at least partially surrounding the conveying means, which is arranged in the interior of the filling machine, can then be removed, also for cleaning purposes. For example, the worm of the conveying means can also be accessed in this way and can likewise be removed for cleaning purposes.
In an expedient further development, at least one carrier is provided, to which the movable part is releasably connected. Particularly preferably, at least one drive mechanism, preferably a gear or a toothed ring, is arranged on the carrier, which drive mechanism interacts with the drive via a transmission means, preferably a chain or a belt. Preferably, the carrier is supported by a rotational bearing surrounding at least one cylindrical section of the carrier. This makes it possible to mount all components associated with the drive-capable component on the carrier in an inaccessible manner. For cleaning purposes, it is therefore possible to remove only the movable part, without removing the associated drive assembly.
In a preferred embodiment, a seal is provided, which is arranged between the movable part and the pipe, preferably on a flange of the pipe. This results in a reliable seal in the operating state, so that no product can be squeezed out.
Further embodiments which are suitable for this purpose are given in the description below.

Detailed Description
An embodiment of the device for supplying products for a filling machine 1 according to the invention is described below with reference to fig. 1 to 5.
According to fig. 1, the filling machine 1 comprises a transport device 2, which is only schematically shown. A plurality of transport modules 10a, 10b are provided in the transport device 2. The transport modules 10a, 10b receive the containers 3. The transport device 2 comprises, for example, individual grippers or receptacles for inserting the individual containers 3.
The transport device 2 moves the container 3 from left to right in the illustration according to fig. 1, i.e. in the clockwise direction. The filling machine 1 comprises, for example, two filling points with filling devices 4. A tare scale 5 is present before the filling point 4, for example. After the filling point 4, for example, a gross weight scale 6 is present.
The filling device 4 fills the containers 3 moved by the transport device 2 with a product, for example a medicament, in particular a powder, a pill or other, in particular loose, form. The product passes from the product reservoir 14 to the individual filling devices 4 via the product transfer system 12, as is schematically illustrated in fig. 1.
Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of the product reservoir 14 on the filling machine 1. The interior of the filling machine 1 is sealed with respect to the surroundings by means of a wall 16, a corresponding plate or door with the possibility of being inserted into the interior by means of a glove or the like in order to achieve an aseptic filling chamber with respect to the surroundings. The product reservoir 14 is arranged on the outside of the filling machine 1 and is therefore accessible from the outside for refilling purposes. The product stored in the product reservoir 14 is transported through a wall 16 with the product transport system 12 into the interior of the filling machine 1. In the interior of the filling machine 1, the supplied product is distributed by a product transport system 12 to the filling device 4 for further metering into the prepared containers 3.
In the exemplary embodiment according to fig. 3, the components of the product transport system 12 are shown in greater detail, by means of which the product is passed from the product reservoir 14 into the closed interior of the filling machine 1. The wall 16 has a circular opening, not designated in detail, through which the delivery device 24 projects. In the exemplary embodiment, a worm is shown as the transport means 24, wherein other transport means can also be used. The part of the conveying means 24 projecting beyond the wall 16 is surrounded by the movable part 22. The remaining part of the conveying means 24 in the inner chamber of the filling machine 1 is at least partially surrounded by a tube 28. The transport device 24 is moved by a drive 26. The tube 28 protrudes through an opening in the wall 16. The tube 28 has a flange 29 on the outside of the wall 16. This makes it possible to remove the tube 28 from the outside, for example for cleaning purposes.
The rotatable part 22 is embodied, for example, as a rotary sleeve and is arranged rotatably about the axis of the delivery means 24. For this purpose, a support 23 is provided in the wall 16. The rotatable part 22 can be implemented, for example, in multiple parts. In the exemplary embodiment, the rotatable part contains a connecting piece 25 in addition to a sleeve-shaped section surrounding the conveying means 24. The rotatable member 22 has a connecting stub 20. The connection nipple 20 is oriented substantially radially with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotatable part 22 and serves to receive the product reservoir 14. The connecting element 25 is releasably connected to the sleeve-shaped section of the movable part 22 by the fastening means 21. The connecting piece 25 is substantially tubular in design, so that the product located in the product reservoir 14 can reach from top to bottom onto the exposed section of the conveying means 24.
A fastening means 21 is provided on the connecting stub 20 in the vicinity of the connecting piece 25 in order to releasably fasten the product reservoir 14 to the movable part 22. The connecting piece 25 is substantially tubular in configuration. A shut-off valve 32 is provided inside the connection piece 25. The shut-off valve 32 can be moved by the actuating means 36 from a state in which the connecting element 25 is completely closed to a state in which the connecting element 25 is completely open, so that the product can pass through.
In the extension of the shaft of the conveying means 24, a fixing means 31 is provided in connection with the rotatable part 22. The fastening means can be unscrewed in a simple manner so that the rotatable part 22 can be removed, for example for sterilization purposes, along the axis of the worm of the conveying means 24. The fixing means 31 fix the movable part 22. The conveying means 24, for example a worm, can then also be removed, if necessary, after the unlocking. The tube 28 extending into the interior of the filling machine 1 can also be removed.
The rotatable part 22 is moved or in particular twisted through 180 ° by the drive 18. For this purpose, the drive 18 is arranged, for example, on the inner side of the wall 16 and acts on the rotatable part 22, if necessary, via a corresponding transmission or transmission means, such as a chain 44. The corresponding mechanism can be arranged inside the wall 16 or inside a cover placed on the wall, so that no moving parts in the interior of the filling machine 1 adversely affect the sterility. A corresponding rotation mechanism 42 is shown in fig. 5 and will be described later.
When the product reservoir 14 is to be replaced in accordance with the consumed product, the drive 18 deflects the movable part 22 and the product reservoir 14 arranged thereon by 180 ° into the position shown in fig. 3. The operator first actuates the shut-off valve 32 by means of the actuating element 36 and brings it into the closed state. This ensures that the sterility of the interior of the filling machine 1 is not impaired. The securing mechanism 21 is then released, so that the empty product reservoir 14 can be removed. The empty product reservoir 14 can be removed if necessary by means of a lifting device. The new, filled product reservoir 14 is in turn secured by a securing mechanism 21 to the connecting stub 20 on the connecting piece 25. The shut-off valve 32 is then switched back into the open state. The drive 18 moves the movable part 22 up again through 180 ° with the full product reservoir 14 fixed thereto into the state shown in fig. 4. The product transport system 12 may then be activated. Here, the conveying means 24 conveys the product located in the product reservoir 14 from the movable part 22 through the wall 16 into the interior of the filling machine 1 until the product reaches the substantially vertical section of the product transport module 12 and is supplied to the filling device 4.
The movable part 22 can also be embodied in one piece. The provision of the releasable connection 25, which preferably comprises the shut-off valve 36 and the corresponding securing means 21, allows simpler cleaning or sterilization. This can improve ease of maintenance.
The rotary mechanism 42 for the movable part 22 is shown in detail in fig. 5. The fixed tube 28 surrounding the metering worm of the conveying means 24 terminates with a flange 29. On the end side of the tube a seal 50 is mounted. The seal 50 interacts with the movable part 22. The movable part 22 likewise surrounds the metering worm on one side. The movable part 22 likewise terminates in a flange-like manner in the direction of the fixed pipe 28. The movable part 22 is releasably connected to the carrier 48 by a fastening mechanism 52. For example, bolts or quick-clamping bolts are used as the fixing mechanism 52.
The carrier 48 is likewise sleeve-shaped and surrounds a section of the fixed tube 28 essentially cylindrically. The carrier 48 likewise terminates on the side facing the movable part 22 with a flange-shaped section which interacts with the flange-shaped section of the movable part 22 for fastening by means of a fastening means 52. A circumferential toothed wheel 46 or a corresponding tooth or toothed ring is arranged on the carrier 48. The corresponding teeth of the gear 46 are illustrated in fig. 5. The gear 46 cooperates with the chain 44, which can be moved by the drive 18. The chain 46 moved by the drive 18 rotates the movable part 22 via a movably mounted carrier 48. The movable part 22 is supported by a rotary bearing 56. The bearing 23 formed in this way is designed as a plain bearing. For this purpose, the rotary bearing 56 encloses a cylindrical section of the movable carrier 48, which is located between the gear wheel 46 and the flange. The rotary bearing 56 is connected to the wall 16 or the corresponding cover by means of a fastening means 54.
For cleaning purposes, the securing means 52 are released in accordance with the measures already described. The movable component 22 can thus be removed from the carrier 48. The flange 29 of the tube 28 is then also exposed and can be removed in a direction towards the outside of the filling machine 1. The flange 29 in turn co-acts with a recess in the carrier 48 so that, during assembly, the tube 28 can be pressed against the outside of the recess in order to achieve the correct assembly position. The movable part 22 is then placed again and screwed to the carrier 48 by the fastening means 52. The movable part 22 is thereby pressed by the seal 50 against the flange 29 of the pipe 28. The movable part 22 abuts against a seal 50 arranged in the flange 29, whereby a reliable sealing of the separation point is achieved.
The described device finds particular application in the field of medicine for supplying products to be filled in filling machines. However, the application is not limited thereto.
