Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a sacrum area protector which is used for protecting the back and sacrum area when a user leans backwards, falls and sits down, particularly when the user moves violently or falls on the ground and sits down abnormally.
Background
As a result of sudden, involuntary, unintended changes in position, a backward crouch of the body occurs on the ground or on a flat surface, causing a fracture of the pelvis or sacrum. This happens frequently in sports or extreme sports, in the elderly population, and in severe cases, nerve damage may affect physiological functions of the elderly, even death, with serious consequences for athletes and the elderly.
In sports or parachuting, the body loses balance due to the unstable posture when landing on the ground, and when the back is squatted and seated, the sacrum transverse fracture, comminuted fracture, ligament avulsion and other injuries are caused by overlarge impact force. In the united states, falls of approximately 10-20% of the elderly annually can cause sacral and pelvic injuries; in the investigation of the fall of old people in Beijing community, 18% of old people fall due to abnormal gait and uneven ground, which is the main reason for the injury of the sacrum and the pelvis region. Instability of paratroopers during landing often causes sacrum injury when the paratroopers sit backwards under the conditions of load bearing and high impact force, and serious patients can damage sacral nerves and influence physiological functions such as defecation and the like.

an upper side strap;
a lower side strap;
a pair of back support bars;

Detailed Description
At present, the waist protection equipment mainly comprises an internal protection equipment and an external protection equipment. The built-in waist support protector mainly takes elasticity as main material, and has the advantages of good elasticity, strong comfort and the like which are most widely applied like the elastic waist support manufactured by the American LP company, and the material mainly comprises materials such as synthetic rubber, stretching chinlon and the like. The external waist support is mainly semi-rigid, except polyester fiber, rubber, nylon and elastic fiber which are used as main materials, elastic steel sheets are attached to two sides of a back spine to be used as rigid supports so as to limit excessive forward bending of the waist. However, the rigidity of the elastic steel sheet is increased along with the increase of the forward bending amplitude of the waist, so that the elastic steel sheet is bound to press soft tissues in local areas to cause pain and discomfort. In addition, there is no related harness in the prior art for protection of the sacral region.
In view of the above problems, the present inventors have proposed a wearable back support and sacral region protector which is structurally and functionally improved over prior art proposals, and which provides a protector which is both comfortable and which prevents damage to the sacral region.
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a sacrum region protector having high comfort, good air permeability, and convenient wearing, which can be used for protecting the sacrum region from being damaged when the sacrum region sits back on the floor due to instability of body posture such as sports or parachuting, and the elderly's daily life.
As shown in fig. 1, according to one embodiment of the invention, the sacral region protector described above includes: the upper side binding band 1, the lower side binding band 2, the back support strip 3, the double-stitch sewing area part 4, the elastic foam 5 and the fixing adhesive tape 6.
The body of the protector is made of common material of wool top Kalai cloth (84% nylon and 16% spandex) for manufacturing the orthosis.
The back support strip 3 is made of ABS (styrene copolymer) sheet material.
The fixing adhesive tape 6 is used for fastening the left and right parts of the protector to be adhered and fixed on the abdomen, as shown in fig. 3. In fig. 3, a thick black line indicates a schematic state after the brace is worn.
The elastic foam 5 is designed to conform to the shapes of the buttocks and the sacrum area according to the anatomical structures of the buttocks and the sacrum area of a human body, and is used for providing buffer when a user leans back on the squatting ground, so that the injury of the sacrum area is avoided or reduced.
The upper side bridle 1, the lower side bridle 2, the back support strip 3 and the elastic foam 5 are connected with the body of the protective tool through double-stitch sewing, and the connection can prevent the components from being separated from each other due to overlarge stress during movement.
The whole protective tool is made of common materials on the market, the surface of the protective tool is provided with pores, the protective tool is light in weight, good in air permeability and good in elasticity, the moisture absorption and sweat releasing functions can be enhanced, meanwhile, redundant water vapor can be discharged during sports, and the wearing comfort level is improved; upside band 1, the downside band 2 among the overall structure are restrainted in user's belly through setting up at terminal fixed sticky tape 6, and the empty structure of floor that subtracts the material is adopted in the region between upside band 1 and the downside band 2, alleviates whole weight. In addition, the lower side bridle 2 is sewed on the upper hip position of the double-stitch sewing area part 4, plays the role of rigid support and the function of the protector body which is attached to the back and the sacrum area all the time, and prevents the back support strip 3 'bow' of the protector from rising when the user leans back and sits down. As shown in figure 2, the radian of the ABS back support strip is consistent with the radian of the back of a user when the back of the user is bent, so that the comfort of the user is improved. The elastic foam 5 has the characteristic of being attached to the anatomical structures of the buttocks and the sacrum region, the protective tool is always attached to the back and the sacrum region through the connection of the lower side bridle 2, and the elastic foam is used for providing buffer when a user leans back and sits on the ground, so that the injury of the sacrum region is avoided or reduced.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the size of the sacrum area protector can be determined according to the average waist width and hip circumference of the Chinese adult male, and can be designed into various sizes to adapt to different body types of users. The protector can be worn inside and outside, and can be designed according to the sizes of the inner wear type and the outer wear type.
According to a specific embodiment, the elastic belts on the upper side and the lower side of the sacral region protector can regulate the elasticity, and the sacral region protector is suitable for the requirement of individualized tightness.
When the user wears the protector, the user can wear the protector inside or outside. The specific implementation mode is as follows:
this protector is worn in a wound manner, and when worn, the wearer first keeps a standing state, and the position of the two-stitch sewing region portion 4 is adjusted so that the two back support strips 3 are placed on both the left and right sides of the back spine. Then the upper side bridle 1 and the lower side bridle 2 are tightened from back to front and are stuck at the front abdomen, the position of the sticky belt 6 is adjusted according to the tightness degree of an individual, and meanwhile, the elastic foam 5 is ensured to be positioned in the sacrum area of the gluteal sulcus, and the wearing process is completed. The wearing is convenient and fast.
The beneficial effects of the invention include:
1) aiming at the prior semi-rigid waist protector, the elastic supporting strip is adopted to support the back. In the process of forward tilting of the back, the elastic branch can bend along with the bending of the back, and the elasticity of the elastic branch can be increased along with the increase of the bending; according to the force interaction principle, the back bears increasingly larger elastic force. When the back is bent forwards, a convex structure is formed, the elastic branch strips have the phenomenon of overlarge local stress along with the increase of the bending radian, and the local area is forced to be pressed to cause back discomfort. Meanwhile, the elastic branches can not support the back when a user sits on the back in a supine and squatting manner, the back supporting strips 3 are made of ABS (styrene copolymer), the structure of the back supporting strips conforms to the anatomical contour of the back, the purpose of preventing the body from excessively bending forwards is achieved when the back supporting strips are tilted forwards, and the effect of supporting and keeping the structure of the spine stable is achieved when the user sits on the back in a supine and squatting manner.
2) The elastic foam 5 is additionally arranged in the invention and is used for providing buffer when a user leans back to sit on the ground, thereby avoiding or reducing the injury of the sacrum area.
Claims (6)
1. A lumbar and sacral area brace, comprising:
an upper side band (1);
a lower band (2);
a pair of back support bars (3);
a double stitch seam area portion (4);
elastic foam (5);
a fixed adhesive tape (6) which is arranged at the tail ends of the upper binding band (1) and the lower binding band (2),
wherein,
the upper side bridle, the lower side bridle, the back support strip and the elastic foam cotton are all connected with the double-vehicle stitch sewing area part (4) through double-vehicle stitch sewing for preventing the upper side bridle, the lower side bridle, the back support strip and the elastic foam cotton from being separated from each other due to overlarge stress in use,
the upper side binding belt and the lower side binding belt are used for being bound on the abdomen of a user through a fixing adhesive tape (6),
the lower side belt is sewed on the position of the double-stitch sewing area (4) corresponding to the upper hip position of the user, so that the sacrum region protective clothing keeps fitting with the back and the sacrum region of the user,
the radian of the back support strip (3) is approximately consistent with the radian of the back of a user when the back of the user is bent,
the lower side strap (2) plays a role of rigid support and keeps the back support strip (3) fit with the back and/or sacrum area of the user, prevents the back support strip (3) from bowing up when the user leans back and sits down,
the position of the double-stitch sewing region portion (4) when worn allows a pair of back support strips (3) to be placed on both the left and right sides of the user's lumbar spine,
the elastic foam (5) has a shape conforming to the buttocks and/or the sacral region of the user and is used for fitting the buttocks and/or the sacral region of the user through connection with the lower side belt (2), thereby providing cushioning when the user crouches back to the ground, and avoiding or reducing injury to the sacral region.
2. The lumbar and sacral area brace of claim 1 wherein:
the upper side bridle (1), the lower side bridle (2) and the double-stitch sewing area part (4) are made of wool surface lycra cloth of 84% nylon and 16% spandex.
3. The lumbar and sacral area brace of claim 1 wherein:
the area between the upper side bridle and the lower side bridle adopts a material-reducing floor space structure, so that the whole weight is reduced.
4. The lumbar and sacral area brace of claim 1 wherein:
the sacral region protector upper and lower straps are elastic straps and have adjustable elasticity, i.e., an elastic strain of 1.5 times the original length, for individual tightness needs of the user.

the sacral region protector is adapted to be worn by a user with the option of inside or outside,
