In the embodiments of the present invention, words such as "exemplary" or "for example" are used to mean serving as examples, illustrations or descriptions. Any embodiment or design described as "exemplary" or "e.g.," an embodiment of the present invention is not necessarily to be construed as preferred or advantageous over other embodiments or designs. Rather, use of the word "exemplary" or "such as" is intended to present concepts related in a concrete fashion.
In the description of the embodiments of the present invention, the meaning of "a plurality" means two or more unless otherwise specified. For example, a plurality of networks refers to two or more networks.
The term "and/or" herein is merely an association describing an associated object, meaning that three relationships may exist, e.g., a and/or B, may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone. The symbol "/" herein denotes a relationship in which the associated object is or, for example, a/B denotes a or B.
At present, more and more applications and configurations are supported by the set-top box, and in order to meet the increasing demands, the local memory of the set-top box is larger and larger, and more things need to be processed. In order to solve the above problems, the embodiment of the present invention provides a mechanism for simply implementing user/service roaming based on a virtualized set-top box architecture, so that when a user makes a short trip, a local network side server can quickly obtain configuration information sent by an initial server for the user with the user account only by inputting an existing user account on a new set-top box terminal (such as an IPTV set-top box of a hotel) when the user makes a short trip, and thus the user does not need any configuration when using a new set-top box, especially for a user to move to the home (beijing moves to the shanghai), therefore, the user experience is improved, and the specific implementation process is as follows:
example one
An embodiment of the present invention provides a data transmission method, as shown in fig. 1 and 5, including:
s101, a server receives a connection request sent by a set top box; the server comprises configuration information of at least one set top box, the configuration information at least comprises any one of application downloading information, EPG information, file information uploaded by a user and interface setting information, the file information at least comprises any one of texts, pictures and videos, the interface setting information at least comprises any one of customized appearances, colors, styles and control modes, the connection request comprises user accounts, and each configuration information corresponds to one user account.
It should be noted that, in an actual application, a container virtualization technology (container) is used on a server on a network side to allocate a container to each set-top box, where the container is used to store configuration information of the set-top box, and the configuration information is set by a user; when a user changes the set top box, the corresponding configuration information can be directly obtained from the server side through the existing user account, so that the set top box does not need to be set again, and the user experience is facilitated; illustratively, an application container engine (Docker) is adopted to generate a container for each user, and all application download information, EPG information, file information uploaded by the user and interface setting information of the user are stored in the container, so that the user can conveniently access the container; specifically, the container may be a storage unit built in the server, and the storage unit may be a memory.
Specifically, the other setting information of the set-top box at least comprises video files, audio files and documents stored by the user.
S102, the server determines configuration information according to the user account.
Optionally, the server determines the configuration information according to the user account, including:
s1020, the server determines whether a container corresponding to the user account exists or not according to the user account; wherein the container is used for storing configuration information.

It should be noted that, in practical applications, each initial server serves only users within its coverage; therefore, when the user logs in at another place, the corresponding configuration information needs to be acquired through the server at the other place, so that the roaming of the configuration information of the set-top box is realized.
S1022, the server sends calling information to the initial server according to the address information returned by the resource server; the calling information comprises a user account, and the calling information is used for indicating an initial server to transfer a container corresponding to the user account to the server.
It should be noted that, when the container corresponding to the user account is migrated from the initial server to another server, the initial server may store the corresponding container for a preset time, and if the user does not access the configuration information of the container in the initial server within the preset time, the container may be deleted; if the user accesses the configuration information of the container under the initial server again within the preset time, the configuration information can be directly used, so that the user can use the configuration information conveniently, and the corresponding configuration information does not need to be migrated from other servers again.
And S1023, the server determines the configuration information corresponding to the user account as the configuration information stored in the container according to the container returned by the initial server.
Optionally, the server determines the configuration information according to the user account, including:
s1024, the server determines whether a container corresponding to the user account exists or not according to the user account; wherein the container is used for storing configuration information.
S1025, when the server determines that the container corresponding to the user account exists, the server determines that the configuration information corresponding to the user account is the configuration information stored in the container.
S103, the server sends control information to the set top box; the control information comprises configuration information, and the control information is used for indicating the set top box to output signals according to the configuration information.
It should be noted that, in practical applications, after the set-top box is connected to the display device, the display device displays corresponding user configuration information according to an output signal of the set-top box, so that when a user watches a program through a new set-top box, the configuration information of the set-top box configured by the user in advance is always used, thereby improving user experience; the display device includes at least any one of a television and a projector.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 2, the method further includes:
s104, the server receives the modification information sent by the set-top box; the modification information comprises modification content, the modification content at least comprises any one of application downloading information, EPG information, file information and interface setting information, and the modification information is used for indicating the server to update the configuration information according to the modification content.
And S105, the server updates the configuration information according to the modification information.
According to the scheme, the configuration information of the set top box is stored in the server, when a user accesses the server through a new set top box, the set top box configuration information can be obtained from the server only by inputting the applied user account, so that the set top box does not need to be reconfigured again, the user experience is improved, and the problem that the user experience is poor due to the fact that the user needs to reconfigure the set top box after the set top box configured by the user is damaged or the user replaces the new set top box is solved.
