s110, acquiring a current screen resolution of the display device 200;
screen resolution, i.e., the resolution of the screen display, is the setting used to determine how much information is displayed on a computer screen, measured in horizontal and vertical pixels. For example, when the screen resolution is low (e.g., 640 × 480), fewer pixels are displayed on the screen, but the size is larger. When the screen resolution is high (e.g., 1600x1200), more pixels are displayed on the screen, but the size is smaller. In S110, the host 100 obtains the current screen resolution of the display device 200, and determines the display position and the image size of the on-screen display menu 202 according to the current screen resolution, thereby determining the display position and the button size of the virtual button 203.
And S120, generating virtual button 203 information according to the current screen resolution and the screen display menu 202 information.
In S120, the information of the virtual button 203 is determined according to the current screen resolution and the information of the screen display menu 202, and the information of the virtual button 203 includes at least one of information of the number of buttons of the virtual button 203, information of a display position of the virtual button 203 in the display screen, and information of a button size. Specifically, the number of the buttons is the same as the number of the physical operation keys 201 associated with the on-screen display menu 202, and is also the same as the number of the main menu options of the on-screen display menu 202, and the display position and the image size are also adaptively determined according to the display position and the image size of the on-screen display menu 202.
S200, generating a virtual button 203 according to the information of the screen display menu 202.
In steps S110 and S120, the menu 202 information is displayed on the screen to generate the virtual button 203 information. In S200, the virtual button 203 is further generated according to the information of the virtual button 203 generated by the information of the on-screen display menu 202, and the virtual button 203 is displayed in the display screen of the display device 200.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating a display process of the virtual button 203 according to an embodiment. Fig. 3 provides a partial schematic view of a display device 200. In one embodiment, the virtual button 203 generated by the menu information of the on-screen display menu 202 is displayed superimposed on the on-screen display menu 202, and the virtual button 203 is displayed simultaneously with the on-screen display menu 202.
Further, the window of the virtual button 203 is in a translucent state, and the virtual button 203 is not provided with a display pattern. Therefore, when the user clicks the virtual button 203, the user can observe the menu options on the screen display menu 202, the intuitiveness and operability of screen adjustment operation are improved, and the user operation is facilitated.
S300, the screen display menu 202 is executed according to the operation of the virtual button 203.
In S300, the display device 200 is taken as an example of an independent display. Because the host 100 and the display device 200 are in data connection based on the DDC/CI protocol, the host 100 can also operate the osd menu 202 through the operating system to adjust various parameters of the display device 200 while acquiring the information of the osd menu 202 from the display device 200. Specifically, the virtual button 203 is arranged corresponding to a menu option or a physical operation key 201 of the on-screen display menu 202, that is, the virtual button 203 can implement a key function of the physical operation key 201 of the on-screen display menu 202.
In one embodiment, to facilitate the turning on or off of the virtual button 203, the switch virtual button 203 for activating/deactivating its virtual button 203 is generated at the same time as the virtual button 203 is generated. The user can activate/deactivate the virtual button 203 by switching the virtual button 203, and the virtual button 203 can be mapped to a switch key for turning on or off the on-screen display menu 202, so that the virtual button 203 is displayed simultaneously or turned off simultaneously with the on-screen display menu 202.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method for controlling the on-screen display menu 202 according to an embodiment. Specifically, to implement step S300, the method further includes:
s301, a trigger instruction for clicking the virtual button 203 is received.
The display device 200 includes a display panel 201, and the display panel 201 may be a touch display panel 201 or a non-touch display panel 201.
In S301, the virtual button 203 is clicked by a mouse or a touch, and the host 100 receives the trigger instruction and determines a position corresponding to the virtual button 203 clicked by the trigger instruction, thereby obtaining an entity operation button 201 of the corresponding on-screen display menu 202.
S302, an execution instruction for controlling the screen display menu 202 is generated according to the trigger instruction.
In S302, after receiving the trigger instruction for clicking the virtual button 203, the host 100 determines the physical operation button 201 of the on-screen display menu 202 corresponding to the trigger instruction, and generates an execution instruction for controlling the on-screen display menu 202 by the operating system, where the execution instruction is generated corresponding to the physical operation button 201 of the on-screen display menu 202, and is used to implement the button function of the physical operation button 201 of the on-screen display menu 202, so as to achieve the purpose of implementing the physical operation button 201 function by using the virtual button 203.
S303, sending an execution command to the display device 200.
In S303, after the host 100 generates the execution instruction, the execution instruction is sent to the display device 200 in data connection with the host 100, and finally the control of the on-screen display menu 202 of the display device 200 is realized.
In one embodiment, after the execution of step S300 is finished, the method further includes:
s400, closing the virtual button 203 after completing the operation. Since the virtual button 203 is displayed simultaneously with the on-screen display menu 202, after the user completes control of the on-screen display menu 202 through the virtual button 203, the virtual button 203 and the on-screen display menu 202 can be simultaneously turned off by turning on and off the virtual button 203 of the virtual button 203. To this end, the screen adjustment of the display device 200 is ended.
Optionally, the virtual button 203 may also perform a closing operation in an automatic closing manner. For example: by setting the virtual button 203 to no longer receive a trigger command within a period of time (within 3 seconds to 5 seconds) by the host 100, the virtual button 203 is automatically closed and the on-screen display menu 202 is synchronously closed.
To sum up, the method for controlling the on-screen display menu 202 provided by the present application obtains the menu information of the on-screen display menu 202 in the display apparatus 200 through the host 100 (or the built-in host portion of the display apparatus 200) in data connection with the display apparatus 200, and further generates the virtual button 203 according to the menu information of the on-screen display menu 202, where the virtual button 203 is generated corresponding to the information of the on-screen display menu 202, for example, the number of buttons of the virtual button 203, the display position in the display screen, and the image size are all determined according to the information of the on-screen display menu 202. The execution instruction for controlling the screen display menu 202 is generated by clicking the trigger instruction of the virtual button 203, and finally the screen adjustment of the display device 200 is realized. The method is suitable for the display device 200 supporting the DDC/CI protocol, an OSD software system does not need to be additionally designed, universality is strong, the generated virtual button 203 is overlapped on the original screen display menu 202 for display, all functions in the screen display menu 202 of the display device 200 can be realized through the virtual button 203, and certain intuitiveness and practicability are achieved when the screen of the display device 200 is adjusted.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a block diagram of the on-screen display menu 202 control system 10. The present application also provides a control system 10 for an on-screen display menu 202, comprising: a display device 200 for generating a display screen; the display device 200 includes: an acquisition module 101 for acquiring menu information of an on-screen display menu 202 of the display device 200; a generation module 102 for generating a virtual button 203 according to the menu information of the on-screen display menu 202; an execution module 103 for executing the OSD menu 202 according to the operation of the virtual button 203. Similarly, the Display device 200 may be an independent Display interconnected with the host 100 based on a Display Data Channel/Command Interface (DDC/CI) protocol, an all-in-one computer with a Display portion and a host portion integrated into a whole, or other Display devices as long as it has the function of the on-screen Display menu 202 and can generate the virtual buttons 203 in cooperation with the operating system.
