The lever 16 is operable to rotate relative to the body 12 to cause rotation of the shift knob 18, with the axis of rotation 20 of the lever 16 being perpendicular to the axis of rotation 21 of the shift knob 18, as shown in fig. 4, and both the lever 16 and the shift knob 18 being rotatable about their respective axes of rotation, e.g., the axis of rotation of the lever 16 being perpendicular to the direction of the page and the axis of rotation of the shift knob 18 being parallel to the direction of the page (shown in phantom). The rotation surface of the lever 16, i.e., the surface of the lever 16 formed in the rotation direction thereof, is perpendicular to the rotation axis 20 of the lever 16. The rotation surface of the switch button 18, i.e., the surface of the switch button 18 formed in the rotation direction thereof, the rotation surface of the switch button 18 is perpendicular to the rotation axis 21 of the switch button 18.
In the preferred embodiment, the rotation axis 20 of the lever 16 is perpendicular to the rotation axis 21 of the switch button 18, so that when the lever 16 is released, the lever moves a relatively long distance, and the switch button 18 can move a small distance. As shown in the figure, the shift lever is moved by 8.1mm, the switch button is moved by 3.2mm, and 3.2mm is the stroke of the switch 14 kept on. Thus, the switch box arrangement increases the travel over which the switch 14 remains on, so that the switch 14 remains on for a longer period of time. That is, after the lever 16 is rotated to the bottom, the activated state of the switch button 18 is maintained even if the lever 16 is slightly moved (e.g., the lever 16 is reversed by the user's loose hand).
Further, the switch box device further comprises an intermediate button 22 movably arranged on the body 12, the intermediate button 22 is abutted against the shift lever 16, and the intermediate button 22 can be pressed to cause the shift lever 16 to rotate. When the intermediate button 22 is pressed against the stop, the second extension 30 of the lever 16 just touches the switch button 18 or is over-pressed, but does not trigger the switch 14 to turn on, at which time pressing any trigger 26 continues to rotate the lever 16, and when the trigger position is reached, the switch 14 turns on, at which time the trigger 26 continues to press a distance, i.e. the distance to turn on is maintained. Conversely, when the switch 14 is triggered to operate, even if the hand of the user holding the trigger 26 is slightly loosened or shaken, the stable triggering of the switch 14 is maintained, and the phenomenon that the power tool stops operating does not occur.
A plane that defines a direction of linear movement of the intermediate button 22 through the rotation axis 20 of the lever 16 is a second plane P2, and the end of the first extension 28 and the end of the second extension 30 are located on the same side of the second plane P2 when the lever 16 is in the released state. I.e. when the intermediate button 22 is not pressed, the end of the first extension 28 and the end of the second extension 30 are located on the same side of the second plane P2.
In addition, the switch 14 has a side surface adjacent to the switch knob 18, the body 12 has a support bottom surface 32 for supporting the switch 14, a surface perpendicular to the support bottom surface 32 and parallel to the rotation axis 20 of the lever 16 is defined as a third plane P3, and an angle α formed by the third plane P3 and the side surface 33 ranges from 15 degrees to 25 degrees. The switch button 18 is adjacent to the support bottom surface 32 such that the switch 14 is disposed obliquely with respect to the plane of rotation of the lever 16 such that the force required to press the intermediate button 22 is reduced, improving operator comfort.
The body 12 is fixedly provided with a deflector rod bracket 34, the deflector rod 16 is rotatably arranged on the deflector rod bracket 34, and the deflector rod bracket 34 is provided with a space for the deflector rod 16 to rotate.
