Method, terminal and storage medium for setting language
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to the field of terminals, in particular to a method for setting a language, a terminal and a storage medium.
Background
Currently, with the internationalization of terminal manufacturers, a plurality of languages are often built in the terminals. In this way, users in different countries can select the language of their own country from the plurality of languages as the language used by the terminal operating system.
However, in the case where the language used in the terminal is switched to a language that is completely unknown to the user due to, for example, a user's erroneous operation, it is difficult for the user to switch the language to the language that is recognized by the user in an environment of the unknown language. Therefore, how to switch the language to the language recognized by the user is a technical problem to be solved.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The method for setting the language provided by the embodiment of the invention can be executed by a terminal, and in the embodiment of the invention, the terminal can be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a personal digital assistant and the like.
The technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for setting a language according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, the method for setting a language according to the embodiment of the present invention may be applied to a terminal, and may include:
at step 110, language-dependent input is obtained.
In embodiments of the present invention, language-dependent input may encompass a variety of different types of input, such as text input, voice input, and the like. Obtaining language-dependent input may include obtaining an image containing text, or alternatively, obtaining speech input. The text included in the image may be a text familiar or recognized by the user. The speech may be from words spoken by the user in a language familiar or recognized by the user, or may be from speech uttered by an audio or video file in a language familiar or recognized by the user.
When acquiring the image containing the text, the image containing the text may be selected locally from the terminal, or may be acquired from outside the terminal, for example, by scanning or shooting.
When the voice input is obtained, the voice input can be obtained by recording the words spoken by the user or the audio-video file.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a program developer may develop a special program for language setting. When the user clicks on this program, the language setting function may be enabled. After the language setting function is enabled, step 110 may be performed to begin obtaining language-dependent input. In the embodiment of the present invention, the program can be represented by a specific icon, on which the elements related to the language setting can be displayed, so that the user can recognize that the icon is used for language setting when seeing the specific icon.
Step 120, determining a target language according to the input.
In the embodiment of the invention, the target language is the language to which the user wants to switch the current language used in the terminal. In general, the target language may be a language familiar or recognized by the user. For example, the language currently used in the terminal is japanese, the user is a chinese, the user cannot understand japanese, and the target language is simplified chinese if the user wants to switch the language to simplified chinese.
When the terminal acquires an image containing characters, the terminal may analyze (e.g., recognize) the acquired image, recognize a language corresponding to the characters contained in the image, and determine the recognized language as a target language.
When the terminal acquires the voice input, the terminal may analyze (e.g., voice recognition) the acquired voice input and determine the target language through the analysis.
Step 130, switching the display language used in the terminal to the target language.
In the embodiment of the invention, the display language can represent the language for displaying characters in the terminal. The display language used in the terminal may indicate the language currently being used for text display in the terminal. At a certain moment, only one language is generally used for displaying characters in the terminal.
In the embodiment of the invention, the display language used in the terminal can be a language which is not known or familiar to the user. The target language may be a language familiar or recognized by the user. By resetting the display language used in the terminal in step 130, it is ensured that the user can perform further operations with the terminal based on the target language.
For example, if the display language currently used in the terminal is japanese and the user does not understand japanese, after determining that the target language is chinese through steps 110 and 120, the display language currently used in the terminal (i.e., japanese) may be switched to chinese. In other words, in the embodiment of the present invention, switching the display language used in the terminal to the target language is to set the current display language of the terminal as the target language, regardless of what display language was used before the terminal. After step 130, the content is displayed or presented to the user in the terminal using the text of the target language.
In the embodiment of the invention, the target language is determined by acquiring the input related to the language and based on the input, and the display language used in the terminal can be switched to the target language after the target language is determined. In this way, since the target language is determined based on the input related to the language, even in a language environment unknown to the user, the language can be switched by causing the terminal to acquire the input related to the language (for example, voice or text), thereby solving the problem that it is difficult to switch the language to the language recognized by the user in a language environment unknown to the user. Meanwhile, the language setting mode does not need a user to search for the entrance for setting the language in the terminal under an unknown voice environment, and the operation difficulty of language setting is reduced.
The following describes a manner of setting a language based on speech recognition and a manner of setting a language based on image recognition, respectively.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for setting a language according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 2, a method for setting a language according to an embodiment of the present invention may be performed by a terminal, and may include:
at step 210, the functionality for speech-based language setting is enabled.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a program developer may develop a special program for language setting. When the user clicks on this program, the language setting function may be enabled. For example, the program may be a recording program that, when triggered (e.g., clicked), enables voice-based language setting functionality.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the icon of the recording program may be different from the icon of the general recorder displayed in the terminal. For example, text and/or graphic elements related to the language setting can be displayed on the icon of the recording program, so that the user can recognize that the recording program icon is used for language setting based on voice.
In the embodiment of the invention, the icon of the recording program can be found by utilizing specific operation. For example, the user slides up the terminal desktop, the desktop icon moves upwards as a whole, and the spare position can display the icon of the recording program. When the user clicks an icon of this recording program, a function of language setting based on voice may be enabled. At this point, a wavy line may be displayed on the terminal, prompting the user that voice input has begun to be received.
Step 220, receiving a voice input from a user, and performing voice recognition on the voice input.
When the user speaks a certain language into the terminal, the recording program in the terminal will enter the audio and can analyze the audio locally (e.g., speech recognition). Under the condition that the terminal is networked, after the audio is recorded by the recording program in the terminal, the audio can be uploaded to the cloud, the cloud performs voice recognition on the audio, and the voice recognition result is fed back to the terminal.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal can record the audio and analyze the recorded audio at the same time, and can also analyze the audio after the audio is completely recorded. Similarly, the terminal can upload to the cloud for voice recognition after acquiring all the audio, and can also upload to the cloud for voice recognition after acquiring a part of the audio.
Step 230, obtaining a result of the speech recognition, where the result includes a target language corresponding to the speech.
The result of speech recognition is, for example "
Figure BDA0001785712990000061
(Korean) ". The results of speech recognition are "" simplified Chinese "" and "" cultured Chinese "" for example.
Based on the result of the speech recognition, it is determined whether the target language is a language, step 240. If the determined target language is one, step 260 may be performed directly; if the determined target language is at least two, step 250 may be performed.
Of course, it should be understood that, when the determined target language is one, the language option may be displayed in the text corresponding to the language, and the user selects the language option, and then the terminal switches the display language used in the terminal to the language corresponding to the language option determined by the selection input. In the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that the target language is one language, the display language used in the terminal can be directly switched into the target language without the selection of a user, so that the speed of language setting can be increased, and the waiting time of the user can be reduced.
And 250, respectively displaying at least two language options by using the characters corresponding to the at least two languages.
Since the pronunciation of some languages (such as taiwan "national language" and mandarin chinese) is similar or even identical, a plurality of language options can be displayed at the vacant position of the terminal desktop for further distinguishing. For example, if the target language is two languages, such as "simplified Chinese" and "cultured Chinese", the vacant locations of the terminal desktop can display "simplified Chinese" in one language option and "cultured Chinese (station )" in another language option, waiting for the user to select the two language options. Wherein "simplified Chinese" is a character corresponding to Mandarin Chinese in mainland, "numerous Chinese (Tai )" is a character corresponding to Taiwan complex, i.e., the so-called "national language" in Taiwan.
Step 252, a selection input for one of the at least two language options is received.
Specifically, for example, if the user is a person from continental china, more accustomed to using simplified chinese, the option of "simplified chinese" may be selected; the "Chinese propagation" option may be selected if the user is a person from hong Kong or Taiwan, China who is more accustomed to using traditional Chinese.
And 254, switching the display language used in the terminal to the language corresponding to the language option determined by the selection input.
Specifically, for example, if the user selects the "simplified Chinese" option, such as by clicking, the display language used within the terminal (e.g., Japanese unknown by the previous user) may be switched to simplified Chinese. If the user selects the "Chinese-traditional" option, for example by clicking, the display language used in the terminal (e.g., Japanese unknown by the previous user) may be switched to traditional Chinese.
Step 260, switching the display language used in the terminal to the target language.
Step 260 may be performed when the target language is one, and the display language used in the terminal may be directly switched to the target language without the user selecting the language. Of course, in the case where the target language is a single language, the language options may be displayed in the text of the single language for the user to know. For example, when the terminal recognizes that the language used by the user is korean, the vacant position of the desktop may display korean corresponding to "korean
Figure BDA0001785712990000071
In the embodiment of the invention, the function of language setting based on voice is started, and the voice recognition is carried out on the received voice input, so that the target language known or familiar by the user can be obtained, and the display language used in the terminal can be switched to the target language. In this way, since the target language is determined based on the voice input, even in a language environment unknown to the user, the user can still switch the language by speaking the voice as long as the user can speak, thereby solving the problem that it is difficult to switch the language to the language recognized by the user in the language environment unknown to the user. Meanwhile, the language setting mode does not need a user to search for the entrance for setting the language in the terminal under an unknown voice environment, and the operation difficulty of language setting is reduced.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a method for setting a language according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 3, a method for setting a language according to an embodiment of the present invention may be performed by a terminal, and may include:
at step 310, the text-based language setting function is enabled.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a program developer may develop a special program for language setting. When the user clicks on this program, the language setting function may be enabled. For example, the program may be an image scanning program, and when the image scanning program is triggered (e.g., clicked), the text-based language setting function may be enabled.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the icon of the image scanning program may be different from the icon of the general image scanning program (if any) displayed in the terminal. For example, text and/or graphic elements related to the language setting may be displayed on the icon of the image scanning program, so that the user can recognize that the icon of the image scanning program is used for performing the language setting based on the text.
In the embodiment of the invention, the icon of the image scanning program can be found by using a specific operation. For example, the user slides up the terminal desktop, the desktop icon moves up as a whole, and the free position can display the icon of the image scanning program. When the user clicks an icon of this image scanning program, a function of language setting based on text may be enabled. At this time, a code scanning frame can be displayed on the terminal to prompt the user to start scanning the image.
Step 320, acquiring an image containing characters, and identifying the characters contained in the image.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the text included in the image may be text written in a language that the user desires to use. If an image containing a character written in a language desired to be used by the user is stored locally in the terminal, the image containing the character written in the language desired to be used can be acquired locally from the terminal.
Of course, in the embodiment of the present invention, in addition to locally acquiring an image containing characters written in a language desired to be used from a terminal, an image containing characters written in a language desired to be used may be acquired from the outside by scanning or shooting. For example, if a user finds recognized text on an item (e.g., a food packaging bag) carried by the user, the text on the item can be scanned to obtain an image containing the text. When the user does not have the recognized characters at the side of the article, the user can also write the recognized characters by hand and scan the written characters to acquire an image containing the written characters.
If the obtained image does not contain characters, the terminal can prompt that the scanning fails and can restart the scanning.
In the embodiment of the invention, in the scanning process, if the image scanned by the terminal contains characters, the terminal can analyze the scanned image to identify the characters in the image. Of course, under the condition that the terminal is networked, the terminal can also upload the scanned image to the cloud, the cloud identifies the characters in the image, and the result of the character identification is returned to the terminal.
Step 330, obtaining a result of the character recognition, where the result includes a target language corresponding to the characters in the image.
The result of speech recognition is, for example "
Figure BDA0001785712990000091
(Korean) ". The results of speech recognition are "" simplified Chinese "" and "" cultured Chinese "" for example.
Step 340, determining whether the target language is a language based on the character recognition result. If the determined target language is one, step 360 can be performed directly; if the determined target language is at least two, step 350 may be performed.
Of course, it should be understood that, when the determined target language is one, the language option may also be displayed in the text corresponding to the language, and the user's selection input for the language option is accepted, and then the terminal switches the display language used in the terminal to the language corresponding to the language option determined by the selection input. In the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that the target language is one language, the display language used in the terminal can be directly switched into the target language without the selection of a user, so that the speed of language setting can be increased, and the waiting time of the user can be reduced.
And 350, respectively displaying at least two language options by using the characters corresponding to the at least two languages.
Since there are similar or even identical situations for the text of certain languages (e.g., english in different countries and regions), the vacant positions on the terminal desktop can display multiple language options for further differentiation by the user. For example, if the target language is three languages, such as "english (usa)", "english (uk)", and "english (canada)", the vacant positions on the terminal desktop may display "english (usa)" in one language option, another language option displays "english (uk)", and the remaining language option displays "english (canada)", and the user is waited to select the three language options. Among them, english (usa) may represent english used in the united states, english (uk) may represent english used in the united kingdom, and english (canada) may represent english used in canada.
Step 352, receiving a selection input for one of the at least two language options.
Specifically, for example, if the user is a person from the united states, more accustomed to using american english, the option of "english (usa)" may be selected; if the user is a person from the uk, more accustomed to using english in the uk, the option "english (uk)", may be selected; if the user is a person from Canada, more accustomed to using Canada English, then the option "English (Canada)", may be selected.
Step 354, switching the display language used in the terminal to the language corresponding to the language option determined by the selection input.
Specifically, for example, if the user selects the option of "english (usa)", for example, by clicking, the display language used in the terminal (for example, japanese not recognized by the user before) may be switched to "english (usa)". If the user selects the option of "english (uk)", for example by clicking, the display language used in the terminal (e.g., japanese unknown by the user before) may be switched to "english (uk)". If the user selects the option "english (canada)", for example by clicking, the display language used in the terminal (e.g., japanese unknown by the user before) can be switched to "english (canada)".
And step 360, switching the display language used in the terminal to the target language.
Step 360 may be performed when the target language is one, and at this time, the display language used in the terminal may be directly switched to the target language without the user selecting the language. Of course, in the case where the target language is a single language, the language options may be displayed in the text of the single language for the user to know. For example, when the terminal recognizes that the language used by the user is korean, the vacant position of the desktop may display korean corresponding to "korean
Figure BDA0001785712990000101
In the embodiment of the invention, the function of language setting based on characters is started, the characters contained in the acquired image are identified, a target language known or familiar by a user can be obtained, and the display language used in the terminal can be switched to the target language. In this way, since the target language is determined based on the characters, even in a language environment unknown to the user, as long as the user can write or the user has characters in the current environment, the user can still switch the language by shooting or scanning the characters, thereby solving the problem that it is difficult to switch the language to the language recognized by the user in the language environment unknown to the user. Meanwhile, the language setting mode does not need a user to search for the entrance for setting the language in the terminal under an unknown voice environment, and the operation difficulty of language setting is reduced.
