Abstract

A hatching device is used for solving the problems that the complete change of a fertilized egg in the hatching process cannot be known clearly in the existing hatching device, and the fertilized egg is damaged and infected. The method comprises the following steps: the shell is provided with an observation space and is provided with a base, a side wall part and a top cover, wherein the base is provided with at least one illumination part penetrating through the base, the side wall part surrounds the base to form the observation space, and the top cover covers the top of the side wall part to close the observation space; and the humidifying module is arranged in the observation space and is provided with a water containing piece and a water retaining piece.

The invention relates to a hatching device, in particular to a hatching device which is convenient for observing the hatching process.
Background
In general, a hatching apparatus using a moisture-retaining hatching medium is constructed by laying a container with a layer of crushed sand or water-absorbable vermiculite as a hatching medium and burying fertilized eggs of, for example, turtles or reptiles in the crushed sand or the vermiculite for hatching. However, the fertilized egg is almost covered by the crushed sand or vermiculite, so that the complete change of the fertilized egg during the hatching process cannot be clearly known during the hatching process of the fertilized egg. In addition, when the fertilized eggs are buried in the crushed sand or vermiculite, the embryo development in the eggs is stopped easily because the egg shells are polluted or attached and parasitized by bacteria and molds in media such as sand and stone, and the molds on the fertilized eggs which are stopped can infect the fertilized eggs which are normally developed nearby through a humid medium, so that the hatchability of the whole fertilized eggs is reduced.

Therefore, a light source can be used for irradiating the fertilized eggs to be incubated through the illumination part to reflect the growth conditions of embryos, and the relative humidity of the observation space is maintained through the humidification module to form the most suitable incubation environment.
The hatching device also comprises a lamp holder which is combined with the base of the shell and is provided with a light source and a switch, the light source is used for illuminating the illumination part positioned on the base, and the switch is electrically connected with the plurality of light sources. Therefore, the fertilized egg can be conveniently irradiated by light through the lamp holder, and the effect of improving the use convenience is achieved.
The shell is used for accommodating a positioning piece, the positioning piece is provided with a plurality of through holes, and the through holes are aligned to the illumination part of the base. Therefore, the through holes suitable for the fertilized eggs can be arranged according to the requirement, so that the fertilized eggs with different sizes are incubated, and the effect of using convenience is achieved.

The water retaining member 22 can be fixed to the inner peripheral wall of the side wall portion 13 by adhesion or screw fixation, or the water retaining member 22 can be directly placed on the base 11, which is not limited in the present invention. The water retaining member 22 can be preferably fixed above the fertilized egg E, so that the water retaining member 22 does not contact the fertilized egg E, thereby preventing the water absorbed by the water retaining member 22 from flowing onto the fertilized egg E, and preventing the stomata of the fertilized egg E from being blocked by water, which may cause adverse effects on the growth of the embryo and even cause the death of the embryo. In detail, a shoulder 134 can be formed by the inner wall with a thickness different from that of the side wall 13, so that the water retaining member 22 can be supported on the shoulder 134, and the water retaining member 22 can be erected above the fertilized egg E. Referring to fig. 2, when the hatching device of the present invention is used, the fertilized egg E to be hatched can be placed on the through hole 121 of the positioning member 12, and is aligned to the illumination portion 111 of the base 11, or the fertilized egg E is directly fixed to the illumination portion 111, and the water container 21 of the humidifying module 2 is filled with a proper amount of water, so that the water container 22 maintains a wet state and can transmit moisture, thereby the moisture generated by the water container 21 and the water container 22 can be dissipated to the observation space S, the relative humidity in the observation space S can reach 80-100%, so as to form an optimal humidity required for hatching the fertilized egg E, and the water container 21 can be supplemented, so that the water container 22 can absorb the water vapor evaporated from the water container 21, so as to maintain the wet state of the water container 22, and the diffusion efficiency of the moisture can be improved by the water container 22, a good environment for incubating the fertilized egg E can be formed, and in the incubation process of the fertilized egg E, the fertilized egg E is irradiated by the light source L through the illumination part 111 to reflect the growth condition of the embryo, so that the incubation process can be observed through the side wall part 13 made of transparent material.

Claims (9)

1. An incubation device, comprising:
