The invention discloses a method for controlling color ring triggering and a color ring platform, and relates to the field of communication. The method comprises the steps that after a polyphonic ringtone platform receives a voice call aiming at a user with an opened polyphonic ringtone service, terminal type information of a calling terminal is obtained, whether the calling terminal has the capability of supporting the video polyphonic ringtone or not is judged according to the terminal type information, if the calling terminal has the capability of supporting the video polyphonic ringtone, a modified ringing message is sent to the calling terminal so as to enable a voice port to be silent, and media type updating information is sent to the calling terminal so as to play the video polyphonic ringtone to the calling terminal after video media negotiation is completed. According to the invention, whether the calling terminal has the capability of supporting the video color ring is judged in advance before the color ring is triggered, so that the matched color ring can be triggered according to the capability of the calling terminal, and the capability of the color ring platform for flexibly providing rich media service according to the capability of the calling terminal is improved.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a method and a ring back tone platform for controlling ring back tone triggering.
Background
With the rapid development of VOLTE (Voice over LTE) networks and users, the innovation of the multimedia-rich service based on gold 15 seconds for the color ring is more flexible and diversified, and a new development prospect is brought for the recovery of the color ring service. However, after the VOLTE user of the existing network applies for the video color ring, when a voice user calls the user, because the media negotiation initiated by the calling side is voice, the color ring platform still plays the voice color ring for the calling side according to the conventional media negotiation process, and the video color ring is not triggered. If the media is forcibly updated to be video for the calls of the VOLTE user, the problem of call interruption due to negotiation failure can be caused for the calling terminal which does not support video color ring.
The reason is that users in the existing network are often used to initiate voice calls to called parties, the media type of the initiated calls is often 'voice', and under the condition, the multimedia color ring platform only carries out resource calling and playing of voice color ring according to voice media type negotiation required by the calls, and does not judge whether the capability of the terminal type support service also supports video color ring, so that the problem that VOLTE called signed video color ring service is not triggered is solved. Thereby causing a decrease in the user's perception of the service and producing complaints.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a polyphonic ringtone platform for controlling polyphonic ringtone triggering, which can trigger matched polyphonic ringtone according to the capability of a calling terminal by prejudging whether the calling terminal has the capability of supporting video polyphonic ringtone or not before triggering the polyphonic ringtone. The problem that a VOLTE user signing a video color ring service can not flexibly trigger a video color ring or a voice color ring flow according to the service support capability of a calling side terminal when the VOLTE user is called is solved, and the capability of a color ring platform for flexibly providing a rich media service according to the capability of the calling terminal is improved.
According to an aspect of the present invention, a method for controlling a color ring trigger is provided, including:
after receiving a voice call aiming at a user with an opened color ring back tone service, acquiring terminal type information of a calling terminal;
judging whether the calling terminal has the capability of supporting video color ring according to the terminal type information;
if the calling terminal has the capability of supporting the video color ring, sending a modified ringing message to the calling terminal so as to silence a voice port;
and sending media type updating information to the calling terminal so as to play the video color ring back tone to the calling terminal after finishing the video media negotiation.
In one embodiment, if the calling terminal does not have the capability of supporting the video color ring, the voice color ring is played for the calling terminal.
In one embodiment, in the modified ringing message, the address carried by the specified parameter is modified to an invalid address.
In one embodiment, the invalid address is 0.0.0.0.

Optionally, the sending module 34 is further configured to play the voice color ring for the calling terminal under the condition that the calling terminal does not have the capability of supporting the video color ring.
In addition, the color ring control module 33 is further configured to stop playing the color ring after the user goes off-hook. That is, if the calling party does not support the video color ring, the normal voice color ring process can be performed.

Step 409 and 412, the calling terminal sends PRACK to the called terminal through the called polyphonic ring platform and receives the confirmation information (200OK) sent by the called terminal.
In step 413, the called color ring platform sends the video color ring to the calling terminal.
Step 414, the called party goes off-hook, and step 415 is triggered to send a confirmation message (200OK) to the called ring back tone platform.
In step 416, the called color ring platform stops playing the color ring.
In step 417, the called color ring platform sends update information (SDP USE B) to the calling terminal.
In steps 418 and 419, the calling terminal sends confirmation information, i.e. 200ok (update) and 200ok (invite), to the called ring back tone platform, respectively.
In steps 420 and 421, the calling terminal sends ACK to the called terminal through the called color ring platform.

Of course, if it is determined in step 403 that the calling terminal does not have the capability of supporting the video color ring, the voice color ring is played for the calling terminal according to the conventional procedure.

and sending media type updating information to the calling terminal, wherein the media type is specified as a video in the media type updating information so as to play the video color ring to the calling terminal after finishing the video media negotiation.
