Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
However, when performing maintenance work with the main body casing suspended from the ceiling, the operator must perform work while looking up at the inside of the main body casing, and there is a problem in that the operator is forced to take an awkward posture, which reduces the work efficiency.
Further, the lower surface of the main body case is open, and therefore, even if the component is erroneously removed, there is no object to catch the component, and the component may fall onto the floor.
In view of the above-described problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a hot water supply apparatus that can be easily handled at an installation site by turning upside down and that can facilitate maintenance work.
Means for solving the problems
In order to achieve the above object, a hot water supply apparatus according to the present invention includes: a hot water supply device main body having a gas burner and a heat exchanger heated by combustion exhaust gas of the gas burner; and a rectangular parallelepiped main body case which accommodates the hot water supply apparatus main body; the hot water supply device is arranged in a posture that the shortest side of the main body casing forms a height direction, and one side surface of the hot water supply device, which is on the side of intersecting the height direction, is a front surface; in the hot water supply device, the main body casing includes: an opening portion that is opened in the front surface in a size that enables maintenance and inspection work of the water heater main body; and a front panel that covers the opening in an openable and closable manner.
The hot water supply device according to the present invention is installed in a posture in which the shortest side of the main body case forms the height direction, and therefore can be suitably installed in a narrow space provided on the ceiling side. Further, according to the present invention, since the opening portion covered with the front panel is provided on the front surface side (one side surface on the side intersecting the height direction) of the main body casing, the hot water supply device can be turned upside down while maintaining the state in which the opening portion faces forward, and the installation place can be easily dealt with.
Further, since the maintenance work of the hot water supply apparatus main body can be performed from the opening portion on the front surface side of the main body casing, the maintenance work can be performed from the lateral direction in an easy posture without forcing the operator to take an extra posture at the time of the maintenance work as in the case of opening the lower side of the main body casing as in the related art. Further, since the maintenance operation can be performed from the opening portion on the front surface side without opening the lower surface, even in the case where the component is dropped due to an operation error during the operation, the component can be received by the lower surface of the main body case, and the component can be prevented from being dropped to the ground and damaged.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the main body case includes: a lower defect part having a part of a lower surface opened continuously with the opening; the front panel is formed in a shape to cover the opening and the lower defect portion integrally.
Accordingly, since the lower surface of the portion adjacent to the opening is opened by the lower cutout, particularly when the hot water supply device is installed on the ceiling and the opening is opened at a high position, a wide view can be secured to the inside of the main body case during maintenance work, and the number of times of interference between tools used during maintenance and the main body case is reduced, thereby making maintenance work easier.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the main body case includes: an upper defect part having an upper surface opened continuously from the opening; the front panel is formed in a shape to cover the opening and the upper defect portion integrally.
When the hot water supply device is turned upside down to correspond to the installation place, the upper defect part is positioned at the lower side of the main body shell. Thus, the lower surface of the portion adjacent to the opening is opened by the upper defective portion, and the same effect as that of the lower defective portion can be obtained.

Detailed Description
One embodiment of the present invention is explained based on the drawings. A hot water supply apparatus 1 according to the present invention is a so-called ceiling-mounted hot water supply apparatus, and the hot water supply apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment is provided in a storage section 4 which is a space formed on a ceiling 3 of a balcony 2, as shown in fig. 1. The housing 4 is provided with a mounting plate 5 on which the hot water supply apparatus 1 is mounted. The housing portion 4 is open on the left and front sides in the drawing, and closed on the right and inside by wall surfaces in the drawing.
As shown in fig. 2, the hot water supply apparatus 1 includes a rectangular parallelepiped main body casing 6. As shown in fig. 3, a hot water supply apparatus main body 7 is housed inside the main body casing 6.
The hot water supply apparatus main body 7 is configured by arranging a combustion fan 8, a gas burner 9, a combustion frame 10, a heat exchanger 11, and an air supply/exhaust pipe 12 in a horizontal direction. The hot water supply device main body 7 further includes a control unit 13 and a valve unit 15 that opens and closes a fuel gas supply pipe 14 that supplies fuel gas to the gas burner 9 or adjusts the flow rate of the fuel gas.
A water supply pipe 16 and a hot water outlet pipe 17 are connected to the heat exchanger 11. The hot water outlet pipe 17 is connected to a hot water supply circuit, not shown. The hot water supply device main body 7 includes a circulation pump 18 that circulates hot water in a hot water supply circuit that stops supplying hot water, thereby instantly supplying hot water.
The circulation pump 18 includes a circulation return pipe 19 connected to the hot water supply circuit to return hot water circulating in the hot water supply circuit. The circulation return pipe 19 includes a gas-liquid separator 20 for discharging gas and an exhaust valve 21. Air entrainment of the circulation pump 18 is prevented by the gas-liquid separator 20 and the air release valve 21.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the main body case 6 is provided in a posture in which the shortest side forms the height direction, and one side surface on the side intersecting the height direction becomes the front surface. In the installation state of the water heater 1 shown in fig. 1, the front surface of the main body casing 6 of the water heater 1 faces leftward in the drawing.
As shown in fig. 4, the main body case 6 is formed with an opening 22 having a front surface entirely opened. Further, the main body case 6 is formed with a lower cutout 23 which opens the lower surface front portion continuously to the lower edge side of the opening 22, and an upper cutout 24 which opens the upper surface front portion to face the upper side of the lower cutout 23.
The opening 22, the lower defective portion 23, and the upper defective portion 24 are covered with a front surface panel 25 of the main body case 6. The front panel 25 is composed of a front plate 25a covering the opening 22, a lower side piece 25b extending from the lower edge of the front plate 25a and covering the lower cutout 23, and an upper side piece 25c extending from the upper edge of the front plate 25a and covering the upper cutout 24, and is fixed to the main body case 6 by small screws 25d at the four corners of the front plate 25a, as shown in fig. 2.
As shown in fig. 4, the front panel 25 is detached from the main body case 6 by removing the small screws 25d, and the main components, piping, wiring, and the like such as the combustion fan 8, the gas burner 9, the combustion frame 10, and the control unit 13 are exposed from the open opening 22.
In a conventional hot water supply device installed on a ceiling, an operator often performs work in an uncomfortable posture. The hot water supply apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment can form the opening 22 in the lateral direction of the main body casing 6 by detaching the front panel 25. This makes it possible to allow an operator in maintenance work to perform work in a comfortable posture, and to prevent the dropping of parts during maintenance work, as compared with a conventional hot water supply device in which a lower plate is removed and opened downward.
Further, the main body case 6 has a lower cutout 23 formed below and continuous with the opening 22. This can ensure a wide view of the inside of the main body case 6 during maintenance work, reduce interference of tools and the like with the main body case 6, and facilitate maintenance work.
In the installed state of the hot water supply apparatus 1 shown in fig. 1, as shown in fig. 2, the air supply/exhaust duct 12 is located on the right side as viewed toward the front panel 25 of the main body casing 6, and the connection terminal portions 26 of the respective pipes are located on the left side as viewed toward the front panel 25.
Further, the hot water supply apparatus may be arranged upside down, and as shown in fig. 5, the connection terminal portions 26 of the respective pipes may be positioned on the right side when viewed toward the front panel 25 of the main body casing 6, and the air supply/discharge duct 12 may be positioned on the left side when viewed toward the front panel 25.
At this time, the hot water supply device body 7 housed inside the body case 6 is also turned upside down, but since the front panel 25 is removed and the opening 22 is opened forward, the maintenance work is not changed in that it is easy even if it is turned upside down.
Further, in this case, the upper defective portion 24 is positioned on the lower side, so that the maintenance work is facilitated similarly to the lower defective portion 23.
When the water heater main body 7 is turned upside down together with the main body casing 6 from the state of fig. 2 to the state of fig. 5, the gas-liquid separator 20 and the exhaust valve 21 provided in the water heater main body 7 are turned upside down, and the functions of the gas-liquid separator 20 and the exhaust valve 21 cannot be obtained. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the gas-liquid separator 20 and the exhaust valve 21 can be rotated with respect to the water heater main body 7 by a simple operation.
That is, as schematically shown in fig. 6A and 6B, the gas-liquid separator 20 and the purge valve 21 are provided on the circulation return pipe 19 connected to the circulation pump 18. The gas-liquid separator 20 includes a pair of connection portions 27 connected to the return pipe 19 so as to be rotatable, the connection portions 27 being located upstream and downstream of the gas-liquid separator 20, and a restricting member 28 is detachably attached to the connection portions 27 so as to restrict the connection portions 27 from rotating with respect to the return pipe 19.
The restraining means 28 is formed of a spring material and can be detached from the connecting portion 27 by a simple operation. By detaching the restricting tool 28, the connecting portion 27 is rotatable with respect to the circulation return pipe 19, and the gas-liquid separator 20 and the exhaust valve 21 can be rotated up and down.
The state shown in fig. 6A corresponds to the posture of fig. 2 of the main body casing 6, and the state schematically shown in fig. 6B corresponds to the posture of fig. 5 of the main body casing 6. When the main body case 6 is inverted from the posture of fig. 2 to the posture of fig. 5, the restraint tool 28 is detached from the connection portion 27 of the gas-liquid separator 20, and the gas-liquid separator 20 and the exhaust valve 21 are inverted.
Thereafter, the restricting tool 28 is attached to the connecting portion 27, thereby fixing the postures of the gas-liquid separator 20 and the exhaust valve 21.
Accordingly, the positional relationship between the gas-liquid separator 20 and the exhaust valve 21 in the vertical direction can be maintained in both the state in which the connection portion 26 of each pipe is positioned on the left side as viewed toward the opening 22 as shown in fig. 6A and the state in which the connection portion 26 of each pipe is positioned on the right side as viewed toward the opening 22 as shown in fig. 6B.
Further, a drain port 29 is provided above the exhaust valve 21. The drain port 29 is freely rotatable in the horizontal direction so that it can be oriented in a desired direction as needed. However, as in the present embodiment, when the state shown in fig. 6A is changed to the state shown in fig. 6B, it is not necessary to change the orientation of the drain opening 29.
The hot water supply apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment is shown as an example installed on the ceiling 3 of the balcony 2. However, although not shown, the hot water supply apparatus according to the present invention may be installed on the back surface of an indoor ceiling, a ceiling side of a kitchen cabinet, a storage space under a sink, or the like.
