Description

标题数据处理 电路及其方法
本发明涉及译码领域,尤其涉及在一种用于译码传输流(transport stream)的译码器中的用于同步显示标题和图像数据的电路,及其方法。
数字视频技术能够应用于计算机和家用器具以及通讯领域,诸如视频会议和视频电话。特别是,其按照MPEG-2标准,被用来作为用于数字卫星广播系统,数字有线电视和高分辩率电视的一种压缩算法。数字信息由每个用于视频,音频和数据比特流的基本流构成,并且基本流被组成一个打包(packetized)的基本流(PES)作为一个传输流(TS)传输。
同时,包含于一个视频基本流中的标题数据被编码并传送。这样,一个译码器的普通标题数据处理电路用于译码一个传输流,从一个传输流中分离出PES,从PES中分离出一个视频基本流,以及从视频基本流中分离出标题数据以便译码所分离出来的标题数据,这样就输出标题图像数据。然后,标题图像(image)数据与图像(picture)数据混合被显示在显示器上。
然而,由于普通标题数据处理电路仅是简单地译码标题数据而没有使用显示时间标记(PTS),当标题数据的译码时间不同于其显示时间时,要同步译码后的标题图像数据和图像数据是困难的。
为解决上述问题,本发明的一个目的是提供一种标题数据处理电路,用于在基于显示时间标记(PTS)的情况下同步译码标题图像数据和图像数据。
本发明的另一个目的,是提供一种标题数据处理方法,用于在基于显示时间标记(PTS)的情况下同步译码标题图像数据和图像数据。
为实现第一个目的,提供了一种包括分离装置和标题译码装置的标题数据处理电路。该分离装置从输入的传输流中分离显示信息(presentationinformation)和标题数据(caption data),当一个单画面单元(one-picture unit)的标题数据已经被分离出来后生成一个控制信号。另外,标题译码装置响应于该控制信号译码分离出来的标题数据,基于该显示信息以便控制译码后的标题数据的显示时间。
为实现第二个目的,提供了一种标题数据处理方法,包括的步骤有:(a)从一个输入的传输流(TS)中分离显示信息和标题数据,且当一个单画面单元的标题数据被分离出来后生成一个控制信号;以及(b)响应于该控制信号译码分离出来的标题数据以及基于显示信息控制译码后的标题数据的显示时间。
本发明上述的目的和优点将通过结合相关的附图详细地描述一个实施例而变得更加显而易见,其中:
图1是按照本发明实施例的一个标题数据处理电路的框图;
图2A至2D是图1中的PES译码器的解释图;以及
图3是图1中FIFO存储器的结构图。
在图1中,一个主处理器100控制用于一个传输流译码器110和一个MPEG视频译码器120的请求数据的读和写,也控制整个系统的译码。另外,主处理器100译码分离出来的标题数据以生成想要的标题图像数据。TS译码器110语法分析一个输入的TS,并向一个PES译码器121输出一个打包的基本流(PES)和向一个显示控制器140输出系统时钟(STC)。
MPEG视频译码器120的PES译码器121,从由TS译码器110输出的PES中移走一个PES包首标(header),从PES包首标中分离出一个显示时间标记(PTS)和一个译码时间标记(DTS),并在一个第一寄存器122中临时存贮PTS和DTS。
这里,PES包首标包括PTS和DTS场(fields),此场用于在译码多路音频,视频或其它基本流期间保持边缘同步(lip-sync)。在一个图像条(layer)中,一个内部编码(I)的图像和一个预编码(P)的图像包括PTS和DTS,而一个双向编码(B)的图像只包括PTS。
如图2A所示,如果在移出PES包首标的一个基本流中探测到一个32位PSC,PES译码器121将存贮在第一寄存器122中的PTS或PTS+DTS插入到图像开始码(PSC)中,这是为了当一个视频译码器123译码基本流时用以区分32位PSC和其它起始码的。如图2B所示,PSC有一个24位的起始码值“000000000000000000000001”和一个8位起始码值“00000000”。
这样,在当前图像只有PTS时,如图2C所示,PES译码器121在基本流输出的24位起始码值和8位起始码值之间插入与任何MPEG视频语法的图像起始码值不一致的8位PTS ID和存贮在第一寄存器122中的33位PTS的4个字节(32位PTS),然后输出到该视频译码器123。
另外,当一个图像起始码值被找到和与图像起始码值相应的该图像都包括有PTS和DTS时,如图2D所示,PES译码器121在24位起始码值和8位起始码之间插入一个与任何MPEG视频语法的图像起始码值不一致的8位PTS ID;存贮在第一寄存器122中的33位PTS的4字节(32位)PTS;一个与任何图像起始码不一致的8位DTS ID;以及存贮在第一寄存器122中33位DTS的4个字节(32位)DTS,然后输出到视频译码器123。
这里,由于该PTS和DTS是附加信息,33位PTS和DTS中的32位可以被利用,所以提供一个低分辩率。另外,不允许在初始化MPEG语法中的PTS和DTS的ID值能够被视频译码器123探测到,以致于译码后的图像数据即使在显示时间和译码时间不同步的情况下也能同步地显示。
如果PTS ID被从PES译码器121输出的基本流中探测到后,视频译码器123译码由PES译码器121输出的一个视频基本流然后输出译码后的视频数据,并临时将4字节PTS存贮在一个第二寄存器124中。另外,视频译码器123由PES译码器121输出的比特流中分离出标题数据,它能够被传送到MPEG语法中user_data区(field)将分离的标题数据与存贮在第二寄存器124中的PTS一起写入一个先进先出(FIFO)存贮器130,以及将相应于一个图像的标题数据字节长度写入一个第三寄存器125中。
图3是一个表示FIFO存贮器130的数据写入结构图。在FIFO存贮器130中,只要标题数据一经探测,每一图像的4字节PTS就与标题数据一起被写入用于连续显示。按照写入顺序,从第二寄存器124中读出的PTS从最高有效字节(most significant byte)写到最低有效字节(least signeficant byte),然后从视频译码器123输出的相应于一个图像的标题数据的M字节被写入。因此,被写入FIFO存贮器130的相应于一个图像的数据是4字节PTS和M字节标题数据。
另一方面,在FIFO存贮器130中相应于一单个图像的标题数据的写入被完成之后,视频译码器123生成一个中断信号IRO以便输出到主处理器100。当主处理器100探测到中断信号IRO时,该数据按照下列顺序从FIFO存贮器130中读出,以便译码该标题数据。
首先,该主处理器100向一个第三寄存器125传送一个首地址ADDR1为了从第三寄存器125中读出存贮在第三寄存器125中的相应图像的标题数据的字节长度。第三寄存器125通过TS译码器110向主处理器100传送相应图像的标题数据的字节长度。
这里,在主处理器100识别被读出图像数据的字节长度(4+M字节)后,传送一个第二地址ADDR2到一个第四寄存器126,这是为了从FIFO存贮器130中成功地读出PTS和已由第四寄存器126识别后所读出的标题数据的字节长度。在生成上述中断信号IRQ之前,视频译码器123将FIFO存贮器130中的首字节数据移动到第四寄存器126中,以及无论何时,只要主处理器100读出存贮在第四寄存器126中的一个字节的数据单元,就将FIFO存贮器130中的后继数据的一个字节移动到第四寄存器126中。
按照上述方法在一个图像单元中,从FIFO存贮器130中读出的PTS和标题数据,通过MPEG视译码器120的第四寄存器126以及其后的TS译码器110传送到主处理器100。主处理器100译码传送过来的标题数据,将译码后的标题数据存贮在缓冲器150并输出传送过来的PTS到一个显示控制器140。这里,所提供的缓冲器150允许标题数据与所显示的图像同步,要考虑到由于设置在视频译码器123输出口的格式转换器(没有示出)进行格式转换而产生的时间延迟。
同时,为了方便地使标题数据和所显示的图像数据同步,参见从主处理器100输出的PTS和从TS译码器110输出的STC,显示控制器140控制存贮在缓冲器150中的标题数据的显示时间。标题图像数据与最终输出的图像数据同步地被复用(multiplexed)。
另外,由于分离出来的标题数据能够通过视频译码器123按照图像译码顺序被传送到该主处理器100,所以该显示控制器140能够使得译码后的标题数据与最终的输出图像数据同步,即使在B-图像存在的情况下当译码时间与显示时间彼此不一致的时候。
如上所述,在标题数据处理电路以及其方法中,按照本发明,标题数据的显示时间基于该PTS而控制,使图像数据与标题数据精确地同步,其中PTS和标题数据从该传输流中分离出来,因而能正确地显示图像。

Claims (13)

1.一种标题数据处理电路,包括:
分离装置,用于从一个输入传输流中分离显示信息和标题数据,当单画面单元的该标题数据被分离出来时生成一个控制信号;以及
标题译码装置,用于响应该控制信号译码分离出来的标题数据,以便基于该显示信息控制译码后的标题数据的显示时间;以及
一个存贮器,用于存贮该分离后的显示信息和一个单画面单元的标题数据,
其中,分离装置包括:
一个视频译码器,用于从输入传输流中分离该显示信息和该标题数据以便输出该显示信息、有关一个单画面单元的标题数据量的信息以及该标题数据,并且当该单画面单元的该标题数据已被分离出来以后生成该控制信号;
一个第一寄存器,用于临时存贮由该视频译码器分离出来的有关该单画面单元标题数据量的信息;以及
一个第二寄存器,用于从该存贮器中读出该显示信息和该标题数据,按字节的预置数单元,以便临时地将其存贮于其中。
2.如权利要求1的标题数据处理电路,其中,标题译码装置包括:
一个主处理器,用于响应该控制信号,从第二寄存器中读出相应于存贮在第一寄存器中的有关该标题数据量信息的显示信息和标题数据,并译码该读出的标题数据以便输出译码后的标题数据;
一个缓冲器,用于临时存贮该译码后的标题数据;以及
一个显示控制器,基于从主处理器输出的该显示信息,用于控制存贮在缓冲器中的译码的标题数据的显示时间。
3.如权利要求2的标题数据处理电路,其中,主处理器响应该控制信号生成一个首地址,用于从第一寄存器读出所存贮的有关标题数据量的信息,以及生成一个第二地址,用于从第二寄存器中读出相应于有关标题数据量信息的该标题数据。
4.一种标题数据处理电路,包括:
一个传输流译码器,用于从一个输入的传输流中分离出一个打包的基本流;
一个基本流译码器,用于从该基本流中移出一个基本流包首标以分离一个视频基本流,用于从该基本流包首标中分离出一个显示时间标记和一个译码时间标记,以及用于将分离出来的显示时间标记和译码时间标记插入到分离后的视频基本流中;
一个视频译码器,用于从基本流译码器输出的视频基本流中分离该显示时间标记和标题数据,以及当单画面单元的标题数据被分离之后用于生成一个中断信号;
一个先进先出存贮器,用于存贮分离出来的显示时间标记和标题数据;
一个主处理器,用于响应该中断信号从该先进先出存贮器中读出该显示时间标记和标题数据,并且用于译码该所读出的标题数据以便输出该译码后的标题数据;以及
一个显示控制器,基于该主处理器的该显示时间标记输出用于控制译码后的标题数据的显示时间。
5.如权利要求4的标题数据处理电路,其中,显示控制器还包括一个缓冲区,用于临时存贮译码后的标题数据。
6.如权利要求5的标题数据处理电路,其中,该传输流译码器从该传输流中分离出一个系统时钟,并且该显示控制器基于该分离后的系统时钟和显示时间标记控制从缓冲区输出的译码后的标题数据的显示时间。
7.如权利要求4的标题数据处理电路,其中,还包括:
一个第一寄存器,用于临时存贮由该基本流译码器输出的该显示时间标记和该译码时间标记;
一个第二寄存器,用于临时存贮由该视频译码器分离出来的该显示时间标记;
一个第三寄存器,用于临时存贮由该视频译码器分离出来的在一个单画面单元中的标题数据字节的长度;以及
一个第四寄存器,用于读出存贮在先进先出存贮器预定字节数单元中的显示时间标记和标题数据,将该显示时间标记和标题数据临时存贮在其中。
8.如权利要求7的标题数据处理电路,其中,主处理器响应中断信号生成一个首地址用于从第三寄存器中读出标题数据字节的长度,以及生成一个第二地址,用于从第四寄存器读出相应于所读出的字节长度的标题数据。
9.一种标题数据处理方法,包括的步聚有:
(a)从一个输入传输流中分离显示信息和标题数据,以及当单画面单元的标题数据已经被分离出来以后生成一个控制信号;以及
(b)响应该控制信号译码分离后的标题数据并且基于该显示信息控制译码后的标题数据的显示时间,
其中步骤(a)包括的子步骤有:
(a1)从输入传输流中分离出该显示信息和该标题数据,以输出该显示信息、单画面单元的有关标题数据量信息,以及该标题数据;
(a2)当在步骤(a1)中该单画面单元的该标题数据已经生成以后生成该控制信号;
(a3)临时存贮该单画面单元中的有关标题数据的该信息。
(a4)临时存贮在该步骤(a1)中分离出来的该标题数据和该显示信息。
10.如权利要求9的标题数据处理方法,其中,该步骤(b)包括的子步骤有:
(b1)响应该控制信号,读出存贮在该步骤(a3)中的有关标题数据量的该信息;
(b2)按照该读出的有关标题数据量的信息读出在该步骤(a4)中所存贮的该标题数据和该显示信息;
(b3)译码该读出的标题数据以便输出译码后的标题数据;
(b4)临时存贮该译码后的标题数据;以及
(b5)基于该步骤(b2)中所读出的该显示信息读出在该步骤(b4)所存贮的该译码后的标题数据,以便控制译码后的标题图像数据的该显示时间。
11.一种标题数据处理方法,包括的步骤有:
(a)从一个输入传输流中分离出一个打包的基本流;
(b)从该基本流中移出一个基本流包首标以分离出一个视频基本流,从基本流包首标中分离出一个显示时间标记和一个译码时间标记,并且将分离后的显示时间标记和译码时间标记插入到该分离后的视频基本流中;
(c)从包括所插入的显示时间标记和译码时间标记的视频基本流中分离该显示时间标记和标题数据,并且当单画面单元的该标题数据已经分离出来后生成一个中断信号;
(d)响应该中断信号译码该分离出来的标题数据以便输出该译码后的标题数据;以及
(e)基于该分离后的显示时间标记控制译码后的标题数据的该显示时间。
12.如权利要求11的标题数据处理方法,其中,步骤(a)还包括有从该TS中分离一个系统时钟的子步骤。
13.如权利要求12的标题数据处理方法,其中,在步骤(e)中,该译码后的标题数据的该显示时间是基于分离后的系统时钟和显示时间标记被控制的。
