Technical Field
The invention relates to the fields of crushing, grinding, mechanical force activation, mechanochemical and mechanical alloy processing, in particular to a planetary ball mill.
Background
Ball mills have been known as conventional grinding equipment for over 100 years. It is used as important equipment for refining and pulverizing solid material, and is widely used in metallurgical, chemical, cement, ceramic, building, electric power, medicine, national defense industry and other departments. Especially the ore dressing department in metallurgical industry, the ore grinding operation is very important.
The planetary ball mill grinding cylinder can be horizontally arranged or vertically arranged on the common turntable. The main difference between the two is that the movement modes of the grinding drums are different. The cylinder body of the common ball mill only rotates around a fixed central shaft, the planetary grinding cylinder moves in a complex plane, on one hand, the motor drives the common turntable to rotate, and the grinding cylinder arranged on the common turntable rotates along with the common turntable, so that the planetary grinding cylinder moves in a revolution and a connection manner; on the other hand, the grinding cylinder also rotates around the central shaft of the grinding cylinder to move relatively under the action of the transmission of the gears or the triangular belts. This planar motion of the drum, which has both revolution and rotation, is referred to as planetary motion. The planetary motion of the grinding cylinder is a basic sign of the planetary ball mill as distinguished from the common ball mill. It can be regarded as a new model developed by combining a common ball mill with a centrifugal ball mill.
The planetary high-energy ball mill can crush and grind materials and is widely used in the fields of metallurgy, mineral products, chemical industry, medicine, geology and the like. The planetary ball mill is provided with a plurality of ball milling tanks on the same main shaft turntable, and each ball milling tank rotates, namely, performs planetary motion while revolving around the main shaft. Compared with other ball mills, the ball mill has higher impact force and impact frequency, can better crush and weld powder, is an important device for a mechanical alloying method in material preparation, and is a complex physicochemical process for alloying element atomic scale by repeatedly deforming, cold welding, crushing and refining the material and continuously exposing fresh surfaces by utilizing long-time high-energy impact and rolling between the material, the grinding ball and the ball milling tank in the material preparation process, so that each element atom is mutually diffused or subjected to solid state reaction.
The planetary grinding cylinder is horizontally arranged on the large turntable which is arranged perpendicular to the ground plane, and when in operation, the planetary grinding cylinder not only rotates per se, but also revolves along with the large turntable to form planetary motion. In the moving process, the ball milling tank has no fixed bottom surface, and the grinding balls and the grinding materials in the grinding cylinder are subjected to the combined action of revolution centrifugal force, rotation centrifugal force and gravity in a vertical plane. When the machine rotates, the stress of each point in the tank is continuously changed in size and direction, so that the grinding balls and the grinding materials are collided and extruded violently in high-speed operation, and the grinding efficiency and the grinding effect are greatly improved. Particularly, the ball milling tank is in a horizontal arrangement mode, and has no fixed bottom surface due to autorotation, so that the phenomenon of bottom formation of a part of raw materials is avoided.
In recent years, due to the increase of energy cost and the reduction of ore grade, the reduction of construction investment and production cost is a serious problem facing the mining industry of various countries in the world, the adoption of high-efficiency large-scale equipment is the main trend of the construction of modern mineral processing plants, and the enlargement of a horizontal ball mill and the reduction of vibration and noise are defects in the prior art.
