Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be arbitrarily combined with each other without conflict.
The steps illustrated in the flow charts of the figures may be performed in a computer system such as a set of computer-executable instructions. Also, while a logical order is shown in the flow diagrams, in some cases, the steps shown or described may be performed in an order different than here.
In one aspect, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for monitoring hardware resources of a server cluster, where the method is applied to a monitoring system of the server cluster, and as shown in fig. 1, the method includes steps S101 to S103.
Step S101, a mask template edited by a user is received.
The content in the shielding template defines monitoring items to be shielded among various monitoring items monitored by the monitoring system for the hardware resources of the server cluster. When the monitoring item is shielded, the monitoring data of the shielded monitoring item is still received, however, the monitoring data of the shielded monitoring item is not processed, and the monitoring data of the shielded monitoring item is not output or presented to the user. In this way, the workload of the monitoring system of the server cluster can be moderated.
And step S103, shielding the monitoring items of the monitoring system according to the contents in the shielding template when receiving the shielding instruction input by the user.
The method also includes receiving a masking instruction input by a user. The shielding instruction is used for indicating shielding of monitoring items of the monitoring system. And when a shielding instruction input by the user is received, shielding the monitoring data of the monitoring item pointed by the content in the shielding template according to the content in the shielding template received in step S101, on one hand, time and effort required by the user to retrieve really required monitoring data from a large amount of monitoring data can be reduced, and on the other hand, the monitoring system is enabled not to process or output the shielded monitoring data any more, thereby reducing the workload of the monitoring system.
The embodiment of the invention has the advantages that the shielding template is adopted to shield some monitoring data, so that on one hand, the time and the energy required by a user to search the really required monitoring data in a large amount of monitoring data can be reduced, and on the other hand, the monitoring system does not process or output the shielded monitoring data any more, thereby relieving the workload of the monitoring system.
Further, in an alternative embodiment, the content in the mask template also defines the time period in which the monitoring item needs to be masked. On this basis, step S103 includes: when a shielding instruction input by a user is received, shielding the monitoring items of the monitoring system according to the time period by using the shielding template. The time period referred to herein includes a start time, an end time, and a time period between the start time and the end time for masking the monitoring data. When the content in the shielding template comprises the time period required to shield the monitoring item, the monitoring item required to be shielded can be set, and the time period required to shield the monitoring item can be set in the time dimension, so that the shielding action can be automatically executed, and the time and the energy consumed by a user for starting shielding and terminating shielding the monitoring item are reduced.
Further, in an optional embodiment, step S101 includes: receiving a plurality of mask templates edited by a user; wherein each shielding template comprises a respective name and content defining a monitoring item to be shielded;
step S103 includes: and selecting the shielding template to shield the corresponding monitoring item of the monitoring system according to the respective names of the shielding templates and the content of the monitoring items needing to be shielded.
In this alternative embodiment, the user edits and enters multiple mask templates; wherein each mask template comprises a respective name and a respective content relating to the monitoring item to be masked. The content included in the mask template is different between the mask templates, and thus the masked monitoring items are different when different mask templates are used. This provides convenience and flexibility in screening monitored items as required. The user can select a proper monitoring template according to the requirement so as to shield different monitoring items.
Further, in an optional embodiment, after step S101, the method further includes:
if an instruction of an operation of editing the currently unused shielding template by a user is received, editing the content in the corresponding shielding template according to the instruction of the operation of editing the unused shielding template;
and if an instruction of deleting the currently unused shielding template by the user is received, deleting the corresponding shielding template according to the instruction of deleting the unused shielding template.
In this alternative embodiment, the contents of the currently unused mask template may be edited or the currently unused mask template may be deleted. "edit" as used herein refers to adding, deleting, modifying the contents of a mask template, and modifying the name of a mask template. Through the mode, a user can adjust the shielding template according to the requirement so as to flexibly shield the monitoring item.
Further, in an optional embodiment, after step S103, the method further includes:
if receiving the operation of editing the currently used shielding template, stopping shielding the monitoring item defined by the deleted content during editing and starting shielding the monitoring item defined by the added content during editing when finishing editing the content of the currently used shielding template;
and if the operation of deleting the currently used shielding template is received, stopping shielding the monitoring item defined by the content of the deleted shielding template after the currently used shielding template is deleted.
In this alternative embodiment, the method further comprises: modifying the content of the currently used mask template, or deleting the currently used mask template. And when the editing of the content of the currently used shielding template is finished, shielding the monitoring item or stopping shielding the monitoring item according to the content of the edited shielding template. When the currently used mask template is deleted, the masking of the monitoring item defined by the content of this mask template is stopped. The steps standardize the mode of shielding the monitoring items when the shielded template is edited or deleted, and improve the flexibility of monitoring the hardware resources of the server cluster.
On the other hand, an embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for monitoring hardware resources of a server cluster, where the apparatus is applied to a monitoring system of the server cluster, and may be a part of the monitoring system, or may be an apparatus independent of the monitoring system. As shown in fig. 2, the apparatus includes a template receiving module 201 and a monitoring shielding module 203.
