Description

Voice switching method and device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for voice switching.
Background
With the continuous development of communication technology, especially wireless communication technology, the initial first generation mobile communication technology (i.e. 1G), the second generation mobile communication technology (i.e. 2G) have been developed to the current third generation mobile communication technology (i.e. 3G) and the fourth generation mobile communication technology (i.e. 4G), since the fourth generation mobile communication technology is still in the debugging and trial phase, the coverage area of the 4G network is small, and when a 4G network is used for a call, if the used 4G network is poor, a voice call under the 4G network can be switched to the 2G or 3G network.
In the process of Switching the voice call under the 4G network to the 2G or 3G network, the terminal detects the channel quality of the channel in use and the channels in the surrounding neighbor cells, and sends the channel quality to the source base station, the source base station selects one channel according to the channel quality of each channel, acquires the wireless identifier of the channel, sends the Switching request carrying the wireless identifier to the source MME (Mobile Management Entity), the source MME sends the voice Switching request to the corresponding target MSC (Mobile Switching Center), the target MSC carries out the voice Switching processing after receiving the voice Switching request, namely the target MSC sends the resource allocation request to the corresponding target base station, when the target base station receives the resource allocation request, the target base station starts to prepare the corresponding resource for the Switching, and sends the notification message of the completion of the resource preparation to the target MSC after the preparation is completed, the target MSC sends a switching instruction carrying a terminal identifier to an IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem), the IMS queries whether the voice capability information of the terminal is matched with the current call state information, if so, the IMS executes a voice switching program, meanwhile, the target MSC informs the terminal to be switched to a target base station, and if not, the target MSC sends a switching failure notification message to a source base station.
In the process of implementing the invention, the inventor finds that the prior art has at least the following problems:
in the process of switching the voice call in the 4G network to the 2G or 3G network in the above manner, after the source MME sends the voice switching request to the target MSC, the target MSC needs to notify the target base station to prepare corresponding resources, and only after the resources are prepared, the process of initiating the voice switching by the IMS starts, and when the IMS determines that the voice capability information is not matched with the current call state information, the target base station has reserved a long time (up to 15 seconds) for the resources prepared for the switching, thereby causing waste of resources.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example one
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for switching voice, and as shown in fig. 1, a processing flow of the method may include the following steps:
step 101, receiving a voice switching request which is sent by a source mobile management entity MME and carries a first communication network currently used by a terminal to be switched, a terminal identifier of the terminal and a target base station identifier.
Step 102, if the first communication network is a preset communication network, sending an inquiry request for inquiring whether the terminal has the voice switching capability from the first communication network to a second communication network used locally or not to an internet protocol multimedia subsystem IMS, wherein the inquiry request carries a terminal identifier.
103, if receiving the notification message with voice switching capability sent by the IMS, performing voice switching processing according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier; and if the notification message which is sent by the IMS and does not have the voice switching capability is received, sending a notification message of switching failure to the source MME.
In the embodiment of the invention, a voice switching request which is sent by a source mobile management entity MME and carries a first communication network currently used by a terminal to be switched, a terminal identifier of the terminal and a target base station identifier is received, if the first communication network is a preset communication network, a query request for querying whether the terminal currently has the voice switching capability from the first communication network to a second communication network locally used is sent to a network interconnection protocol multimedia subsystem IMS, the query request carries the terminal identifier, and if a notification message which is sent by the IMS and has the voice switching capability is received, voice switching processing is carried out according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier; if the notification message which is sent by the IMS and does not have the voice switching capability is received, the notification message of the switching failure is sent to the source MME, so that whether the terminal has the corresponding voice switching capability or not can be determined before resources are prepared for the terminal to perform voice switching, and the corresponding resources are prepared for the terminal only after the terminal is determined to have the corresponding voice switching capability, so that the resource waste can be reduced.
Example two
The embodiment of the invention provides a voice switching method, and the execution main body of the method is a target MSC. The target MSC may be composed of one communication network device (e.g., a server), or may be composed of two communication network devices with different functions, and the target MSC composed of one communication network device in the embodiment of the present invention is taken as an example to perform detailed description of the scheme, and for other cases, the details are similar to this, and are not described again here.
The process flow shown in fig. 1 will be described in detail below with reference to specific embodiments, and the contents may be as follows:
step 101, receiving a voice switching request which is sent by a source mobile management entity MME and carries a first communication network currently used by a terminal to be switched, a terminal identifier of the terminal and a target base station identifier.
The communication network may include multiple types, such as a 2G network, a 3G network, a 4G network, and the like, the first communication network may be one of the multiple types of communication networks, the terminal may be any terminal having a wireless communication function, such as a Mobile phone, and the like, the terminal identifier may be an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) of the terminal, or may be a communication number (e.g., a Mobile phone number) of the terminal, and the base station identifier may be a number or a name of a base station.
In implementation, a user may input a terminal identifier of another terminal that needs to perform a voice call, such as a mobile phone number, in a terminal used by the user, and after the input is completed, a dial button may be clicked, the terminal acquires the terminal identifier input by the user and a terminal identifier of the terminal itself, generates a voice communication request, and sends the voice communication request to a base station (i.e., a source base station) to which the terminal belongs, and the source base station may send the voice communication request to an EPC (Evolved Packet Core) to which the source base station belongs, so that the voice communication request is sent to the IMS, and after receiving the voice communication request, the IMS may extract the terminal identifier input by the user in the voice communication request, query identifiers of other devices in a Core network corresponding to the terminal identifier, and may send the received voice communication request to a device corresponding to the queried identifier, by the manner described above, the voice communication request is sequentially forwarded until another terminal receives the voice communication request, thereby establishing voice communication between the terminal and the another terminal.
The terminal to be switched can measure the channel quality of the neighbor channel at the position of the terminal in some way, and detect the channel quality of the communication network currently used by the terminal, use the relevant information of the neighbor channel to generate a measurement message, send the measurement message to the source base station, if the source base station judges that the channel quality of the first communication network currently used by the terminal is less than the preset first channel quality threshold, the source base station can analyze the received relevant information of the neighbor channel, select a neighbor channel with the channel quality greater than the second channel quality threshold, obtain the relevant information of the neighbor channel, such as the relevant information of the cell where the neighbor channel is located, such as the cell identifier, etc., the source base station can use the relevant information of the neighbor channel and the terminal identifier of the terminal to generate a voice switching request, and send the voice switching request to the MME (i.e. the source MME) to which the source base station belongs, the source MME may obtain, from the relevant information of the neighbor channel, a corresponding MSC identifier (i.e., a destination MSC identifier), a communication network currently used by the terminal (i.e., a first communication network), a destination base station identifier, and the like, and determine whether voice handover is required, and if voice handover is required, may set the information in the voice handover request and send the information to the destination MSC corresponding to the destination MSC identifier.
It should be noted that the target MSC may be composed of two parts, for example, an MSC server and an MSC processing device, and the process and the manner of processing data by the two parts may refer to the content of the existing process and the processing manner, which is not described herein again.
The first communication network may be different from the second communication network, for example, the first communication network may be a 4G network, the second communication network may be any communication network except the 4G network, for example, a 2G network, and the voice switching capability may include voice switching before ringing, voice switching during ringing, voice switching for multi-way calling, and the like.
In an implementation, the preset communication network may be a 4G network, after receiving the voice handover request, the target MSC extracts information of the first communication network, such as a network identifier of the first communication network or information of a communication protocol used by the first communication network, and determines a network type to which the first communication network belongs, and then, may compare the first communication network with the preset communication network (which may be a 4G network), if the first communication network is not a 4G network, the target MSC may perform corresponding processing through an existing processing procedure of voice handover, if the first communication network is a 4G network and the second communication network used by the target MSC is a 2G network, the target MSC may determine whether the terminal to be handed over currently has a voice handover capability from the 4G network to the 2G network, specifically, the target MSC may perform a query to the IMS, and determining whether the terminal has the voice switching capability, namely, the target MSC sends an inquiry request to the IMS to which the target MSC belongs, wherein the inquiry request is used for inquiring whether the terminal currently has the voice switching capability from the 4G network to the locally used 2G network.
103, if receiving the notification message with voice switching capability sent by the IMS, performing voice switching processing according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier; and if the notification message which is sent by the IMS and does not have the voice switching capability is received, sending a notification message of switching failure to the source MME.
In implementation, when a first terminal (which may be any terminal) sends a voice communication request to a second terminal (which is another terminal except the first terminal), the first terminal may send its own voice switching capability to the IMS through the source base station, the EPC, and the like, the IMS may store a terminal identifier of the first terminal and the voice switching capability of the first terminal in a corresponding manner, when the IMS receives the query request, the IMS may determine the corresponding voice switching capability in the corresponding relationship as described above by querying the terminal identifier carried in the request, the IMS may store current call state information of the terminal, such as before ringing, during ringing, or during multi-way call, and the like, the IMS may find the call state information of the current corresponding terminal through the terminal identifier carried in the query request, and then the IMS may match and compare the current call state information with the voice switching capability of the terminal, if the current call state information is matched with the voice switching capability of the terminal, a notification message with the voice switching capability can be sent to the target MSC, after receiving the notification message, the target MSC can carry out voice switching processing according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier, namely the target MSC can send a resource allocation request to the target base station, when receiving the resource allocation request, the target base station can prepare corresponding resources for the voice switching, after the preparation is completed, the notification message that the resource preparation is completed is sent to the target MSC, the target MSC sends a voice switching instruction with the terminal identifier to the IMS, the IMS executes a voice switching program, and the target MSC notifies the target base station to carry out voice switching, so that the voice switching process is completed.
If the current call state information is not matched with the voice switching capability of the terminal, a notification message without the voice switching capability can be sent to the target MSC, after receiving the notification message, the target MSC can send a notification message of switching failure to the source MME, at this time, the source MME can send the notification message of switching failure to the source base station, and if the source base station judges that voice switching is needed again at a certain moment, the above process can be repeated to complete the voice switching from the first communication network to the second communication network.
Optionally, the processing manner of step 103 may be various, and the following provides an optional processing manner, which may specifically include the following: the notification message with voice switching capability carries current call state information, if the notification message with voice switching capability sent by IMS is received, whether the terminal has voice switching capability in the current call state is determined according to the corresponding relation between the locally stored call state information of the terminal and the voice switching capability and the current call state information, and if so, voice switching processing is carried out according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier.
In implementation, a certain terminal may have multiple voice handover capabilities, but in an actual voice handover process, a success rate of performing voice handover may be low, and a terminal identifier of the terminal with the low success rate of performing voice handover may be recorded in a target MSC, and may be specifically stored in the target MSC in a corresponding relationship, for example, a corresponding relationship between call state information of the terminal and the voice handover capabilities is established. The target MSC may store terminal identifiers of a plurality of terminals and voice switching capabilities of terminals corresponding to the terminal identifiers, so that the target MSC may perform corresponding processing on the voice switching process of the terminal through the locally stored voice switching capabilities, specifically: when the IMS receives the query request, the IMS may determine that the terminal to be switched has the voice switching capability through the processing method, the IMS may send a notification message with the voice switching capability, which carries current call state information corresponding to the terminal, to the target MSC, the target MSC may extract the current call state information, and search the correspondence between the current call state information and the terminal identifier of the terminal to determine whether the terminal to be switched has the voice switching capability in the current call state, if so, the voice switching processing is performed according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier, and the corresponding processing procedure may refer to the above contents, which is not described herein again.
Correspondingly, if the terminal is determined not to have the voice switching capability in the current call state according to the locally stored corresponding relationship between the call state information of the terminal and the voice switching capability and the current call state information, a notification message of switching failure is sent to the source MME.
In implementation, if the target MSC determines that the terminal does not have the voice handover capability in the current call state through the current call state information, the terminal identifier of the terminal, and the corresponding relationship, the target MSC may send a handover failure notification message to the source MME, at this time, the source MME may send the handover failure notification message to the source base station, and if the source base station determines that voice handover is required again at a certain time, the above process may be repeated to complete the voice handover from the first communication network to the second communication network.
Optionally, the processing manner of performing the voice switching processing in step 103 may be various, and the following provides an optional processing manner, which may specifically include the following: and if the notification message with the voice switching capability sent by the IMS is received, acquiring the resource occupancy rate of the target base station corresponding to the target base station identifier, and if the resource occupancy rate is smaller than a preset resource occupancy rate threshold value, performing voice switching processing according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier.
In the implementation, the resource occupancy rates of different base stations at different times may be different, and if the resource occupancy rate of a certain base station at a certain time is higher, the load of the base station is increased after voice handover is performed, so that the voice call quality is reduced, and the specific processing procedure may be: when the IMS receives the query request, the IMS may determine that the terminal to be switched has the voice switching capability through the processing method, the IMS may send a notification message with the voice switching capability to the target MSC, when the target MSC receives the notification message, the target MSC may extract the target base station identifier carried in the voice switching request, the target MSC may store related information of a plurality of base stations, such as resource occupancy rates of the base stations, and the like, and then the target MSC may search the stored information of the resource occupancy rates of the base stations, and obtain the resource occupancy rate of the target base station corresponding to the target base station identifier, and may compare the resource occupancy rate with a preset resource occupancy rate threshold, if the resource occupancy rate is less than the resource occupancy rate threshold, the voice switching process may be performed according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier, and the specific processing procedure may refer to the related contents, and will not be described in detail herein.
Optionally, the processing manner of performing the voice switching processing in step 103 may be various, and the following provides an optional processing manner, which may specifically include the following: the notification message with voice switching capability carries current call state information, and if the notification message with voice switching capability sent by the IMS is received and the local support terminal switches the voice from the first communication network to the second communication network in the call state corresponding to the current call state information, the voice switching processing is carried out according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier.
In the implementation, the IMS, the target MSC, the target LAI (Location Area Identity), the target RNC (Radio Network Controller), and/or the target BSC (Base Station Controller), etc. may not support the terminal to perform voice handover, so when the IMS receives the query request, the IMS may determine, by the processing method, that the terminal to be handed over has the voice handover capability, and may send the notification message with the voice handover capability carrying the current call state information to the target MSC, where the specific processing procedure may refer to the relevant contents, and after receiving the notification message, the target MSC may determine whether the target MSC and the target LAI, etc. support the voice handover of the terminal from the first communication Network to the second communication Network in the call state corresponding to the current call state information, that is, the voice handover from the 4G Network to the 2G Network, if so, performing voice switching processing according to the target base station identifier and the terminal identifier, and referring to the above related contents in the specific processing process, which is not described herein again.
Correspondingly, if the terminal does not support the voice switching from the first communication network to the second communication network in the call state corresponding to the current call state information locally, a notification message of the voice switching failure is sent to the source MME.
In implementation, if it is determined that the local area does not support the voice handover from the first communication network to the second communication network in the call state corresponding to the current call state information through the above determination, the target MSC may send a notification message of the voice handover failure to the source MME, at this time, the source MME may send the notification message of the handover failure to the source base station, and if the source base station determines again that the voice handover is required at a certain time, the above process may be repeated to complete the voice handover from the first communication network to the second communication network.
Optionally, if the voice handover fails, the resources prepared by the target base station may be released, and the specific processing procedure may include the following: if receiving a notification message of voice switching failure sent by an IMS, sending a resource release request to a target base station corresponding to a target base station identifier, suspending a network resource of a first communication network currently used by the terminal and a current call state of the terminal, and canceling voice switching of the terminal from the first communication network to a second communication network when receiving the notification message of canceling voice switching sent by a source MME.
In the implementation, if the target MSC receives the notification message with the voice handover capability sent by the IMS, the target MSC may send a resource allocation request to the target base station, and when the target base station receives the resource allocation request, prepare corresponding resources for the voice handover, after the preparation is completed, send a notification message that the resource preparation is completed to the target MSC, the target MSC sends a voice handover instruction carrying a terminal identifier to the IMS, the IMS performs a voice handover procedure, and the target MSC notifies the target base station of the voice handover, if the voice handover fails due to some reasons in the above process, such as a communication network is disconnected, and the like, at this time, the IMS may send a notification message that the voice handover fails to the target MSC, and after receiving the notification message, the target MSC may send a resource release request to the target base station corresponding to the target base station identifier, and the target base station may release the corresponding resources, at this time, the source base station may reserve the network resource of the first communication network currently used by the terminal to be switched and the current call state of the terminal, when the terminal cannot access the target channel, it may return to the original channel through the reserved network resource, or the source base station initiates service reconstruction, reestablishes a channel to be provided for the terminal, or, initiates service reconstruction through another base station in the first communication network except the source base station, reestablishes a channel to be provided for the terminal, and sends a notification message carrying a terminal identifier to the source base station to cancel voice switching, the source base station may send the notification message to the source MME, the source MME may forward the notification message to the target MSC, after the target MSC receives the notification message, it may cancel voice switching of the terminal from the first communication network to the second communication network, if within a preset time length, if the terminal does not return to the original channel, the target MSC may cancel the voice handover from the first communication network to the second communication network, and the source MME may release the corresponding 4G network resource. The processing procedure may also be that after receiving the notification message, the source MME may wait for the source base station to perform detection or the terminal to actively abandon the voice handover, and further, the source MME may release the corresponding 4G network resource.
It should be noted that the processing procedure of matching and comparing the current call state information with the voice switching capability of the terminal may also be completed by the target MSC, and specifically may be: if the first communication network is a preset communication network, the target MSC may send, to the IMS, an inquiry request for inquiring whether the terminal currently has a voice switching capability of a second communication network used from the first communication network to a local location, where the inquiry request carries a terminal identifier, the IMS may send information, such as current call state information and the voice switching capability of the terminal, to the target MSC, and the target MSC may match and compare the current call state information with the voice switching capability of the terminal, and further determine whether the current call state information matches the voice switching capability of the terminal, so as to complete a subsequent processing procedure.
