Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like or similar reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar function throughout. The embodiments described below with reference to the drawings are illustrative and intended to be illustrative of the invention and are not to be construed as limiting the invention.
A hood assembly 2 according to an embodiment of the first aspect of the invention is described below with reference to fig. 1-8.
As shown in fig. 1, a hood assembly 2 according to an embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention includes: a lining reinforcing plate 21, a hood outer plate 22, a pedestrian protection airbag 23 and a restraining pull strap 24.
Specifically, the hood outer panel 22 is provided outside the lining reinforcing panel 21 (for example, on the upper side of the lining reinforcing panel 21 shown in fig. 1), and the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 are arranged up and down with a gap between the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21, and the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 are detachably connected.
Here, the detachable connection means that the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 can be detached by an external force (e.g., a thrust force of a pedestrian protection airbag 23 described below), and when the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 are detached, the operator can fixedly reattach the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 together, that is, the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 can be detached by an external force without destruction.
At least a part of the pedestrian protection airbag 23 is provided between the inner-lining reinforcing panel 21 and the hood outer panel 22, that is, a part of the pedestrian protection airbag 23 may be provided between the inner-lining reinforcing panel 21 and the hood outer panel 22, or the pedestrian protection airbag 23 may be entirely provided between the inner-lining reinforcing panel 21 and the hood outer panel 22.
The limit pull tape 24 is connected to the inner liner reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer plate 22, for example, the upper end of the limit pull tape 24 is connected to the hood outer plate 22, the lower end of the limit pull tape 24 is connected to the inner liner reinforcing plate 21, and the limit pull tape 24 is used for limiting the maximum displacement of the hood outer plate 22 moving upward.
When the vehicle 100 collides with a pedestrian, the pedestrian protection airbag 23 can rapidly inflate and upwardly push the hood outer panel 22, so that the hood outer panel 22 breaks loose the connecting force with the lining reinforcing plate 21, then the hood outer panel 22 is pushed to move upwards, the limit pull belt 24 is stretched and expanded at the moment, and after the pedestrian protection airbag 23 is fully inflated, the buffer space between the hood outer panel 22 and the interior of the vehicle (for example, with an engine) is increased, thereby greatly reducing the injury to the pedestrian and better protecting the pedestrian.
According to the hood assembly 2 of the embodiment of the invention, the pedestrian protection airbag 23 is arranged between the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer plate 22, so that the arrangement space of the pedestrian protection airbag 23 can be saved, the cost can be saved, the pedestrian protection airbag 23 can be prevented from occupying the inner space of the engine compartment, the buffer space between the hood outer plate 22 and the engine can be further increased, and pedestrians can be better protected.
In addition, since the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcement panel 21 are separably connected, when the pedestrian protection airbag 23 inflates and pushes the hood outer panel 22 to move upward by a certain distance, there is no damage to the hood outer panel 22, the lining reinforcement panel 21, and the vehicle body 1, and the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcement panel 21 can be reassembled and connected for continuous use, thereby reducing the maintenance cost.
It should be noted that, when the hood assembly 2 is normally opened or closed in the vehicle 100, the acting force applied to the hood outer panel 22 is smaller than the connecting force between the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21, that is, the force applied to the hood outer panel 22 is not enough to overcome the connecting force between the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21, so that the hood assembly 2 as a whole rotates clockwise or counterclockwise around the fixed seat of the vehicle 100 to open or close the engine compartment.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the peripheral edge of the lining reinforcing plate 21 is detachably connected to the peripheral edge of the hood outer panel 22. Therefore, the connecting force between the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer panel 22 can be uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction, and the force applied to the hood outer panel 22 when the pedestrian protection airbag 23 pushes the hood outer panel 22 to move is more balanced. In addition, the structure is simplified, and the inner lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer panel 22 can be easily assembled and connected again.
Referring to fig. 1, the airbag bag 231 of the pedestrian-protecting airbag 23 is located between the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer panel 22, the airbag bag 231 is located in the middle of the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer panel 22, and the peripheral edge of the lining reinforcing plate 21 is separably connected with the peripheral edge of the hood outer panel 22, so that the thrust to the hood outer panel 22 during the inflation of the airbag bag 231 of the pedestrian-protecting airbag 23 can be uniformly distributed, and the stress of the hood outer panel 22 is balanced.
In some examples, the peripheral edge of the hood outer panel 22 and the peripheral edge of the lining reinforcing panel 21 may be bonded, for example, the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 may be fixed together by a metal adhesive, and the hood outer panel 22 may be separated from the lining reinforcing panel 21 when the thrust of the pedestrian protection airbag 23 to the hood outer panel 22 is greater than the adhesive force between the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21; after the hood outer panel 22 is separated from the lining reinforcing panel 21, the hood outer panel 22 and the lining reinforcing panel 21 can be bonded and assembled again for further use.
In other examples, the peripheral edge of the hood outer panel 22 and the peripheral edge of the lining reinforcing panel 21 may also be clamped.
Specifically, one of the annular snap projection and the annular snap groove is provided on the peripheral edge of the lower surface of the hood outer panel 22, the other of the annular snap projection and the annular snap groove is provided on the peripheral edge of the upper surface of the lining reinforcing panel 21, and the annular snap projection is detachably fitted into the annular snap groove. Thereby achieving the separable connection of the hood outer panel 22 and the inner liner reinforcing panel 21.
In some embodiments of the invention, the restraining drawstrings 24 are elastic members. For example, the limit pull strip 24 may be a metal or plastic part with good elasticity and plasticity. In other embodiments, the limit pull straps 24 may be folded pull straps.
Further, the limit pull tape 24 may include one, and the limit pull tape 24 may also include a plurality of limit pull tapes arranged at intervals. When the restraining pull straps 24 include a plurality, it is preferable that the plurality of restraining pull straps 24 be arranged at intervals around the pedestrian protection airbag 23.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, in some examples of the invention, at least a portion of the restraining pull strip 24 is N-shaped, V-shaped, or W-shaped, and at least a portion of the restraining pull strip 24 may also be in the shape of an S-shape, an arc, or the like. Therefore, when the limit drawstring 24 is stretched, the pedestrian protection airbag 23 can have a sufficient expansion space, the buffer distance between the hood outer panel 22 and the engine is increased, and the pedestrian protection is more facilitated.
In addition, the limit drawstring 24 can limit the upward movement distance of the pedestrian protection airbag 23 and the hood outer panel 22, so that the hood outer panel 22 can be prevented from moving upward too far to block the driver's sight.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the pedestrian protection airbag 23 may include: an air bag 231 and a gas generator 232, wherein the air bag 231 is laid between the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer plate 22; that is, the airbag bag 231 is placed between the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer panel 22 in a completely deployed state without being folded. The gas generator 232 is communicated with the inner space of the air bag 231, and the gas generator 232 is used to inflate the air bag 231, for example, when a pedestrian collides with the vehicle 100, the gas generator 232 can rapidly inflate the air bag 231 to protect the pedestrian.
In the embodiment, the airbag cloth bag 231 is not folded by tiling the airbag cloth bag 231 and between the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the engine hood outer plate 22, so that the assembly box body of the airbag cloth bag 231 is not needed, the arrangement space of the airbag cloth bag 231 is saved, and gas can be rapidly filled into the airbag cloth bag 231 due to the tiling of the airbag cloth bag 231, so that the airbag cloth bag 231 is timely unfolded, the problems that the airbag cloth bag 231 is not smooth to unfold and the like are avoided, and pedestrians can be protected more timely and rapidly.
In some examples of the present invention, the gas generator 232 includes one, the gas generator 232 may include a plurality of gas generators, and the plurality of gas generators 232 may be arranged around the air bag pocket 231 at intervals in the circumferential direction. The inflation efficiency of the air bag cloth bag 231 can be improved by arranging the plurality of gas generators 232, and the buffering effect of the air bag cloth bag 231 is ensured. As shown in fig. 4, the pedestrian protection airbag 23 includes two gas generators 232 and one bag 231, wherein the two gas generators 232 are arranged at intervals between the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer panel 22 at the rear ends of the lining reinforcing plate 21 and the hood outer panel 22.
In some examples of the invention, the airbag pocket 231 may cover at least 50% of the hood outer panel 22. Further, the airbag pocket 231 may cover at least 75% of the hood outer panel 22. Therefore, after the air bag cloth bag 231 is inflated, the air bag cloth bag 231 can completely cover hard points (such as the position of an engine) in an engine cavity, a buffering effect is achieved between a pedestrian and the hard points in the engine cavity, the pedestrian is prevented from directly impacting parts with high hardness such as the engine, and the protection effect on the pedestrian is enhanced. For example, the airbag pocket 231 may cover 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, etc. of the hood outer panel 22.
In some examples of the present invention, the gas generator 232 has a compressed gas storage chamber 2321 and one or more gas outlet holes 2322 therein, the compressed gas storage chamber 2321 is adapted to communicate with the air bag cloth bag 231 through the gas outlet holes 2322, and the gas generator 232 includes: an auxiliary heating device 2323 and an igniter 2324, the auxiliary heating device 2323 serving to heat the compressed gas storage chamber 2321; the igniter 2324 is provided on the secondary heating device 2323. The igniter 2324 is used to activate the auxiliary heating device 2323, so that the auxiliary heating device 2323 starts to operate to heat the compressed gas, so that the compressed gas can be rapidly charged into the air bag 231.
Further, at least a portion of the gas generator 232 extends into the gas bag inlet pipe 2311 of the air bag cloth bag 231, and the gas outlet 2322 of the gas generator 232 is located in the gas bag inlet pipe 2311, so that the gas generator 232 can conveniently inflate the air bag cloth bag 231. Furthermore, a clamp 233 is disposed on an outer side of the gas generator 232, and the clamp 233 is used for sealing and connecting the gas generator 232 and the air bag inlet pipe 2311, so as to ensure the sealing performance between the gas generator 232 and the air bag 231 and avoid air leakage.
Of course, the gas generator 232 according to the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above-described compression type gas generator, and may be any gas generator as long as it can generate gas quickly and ensure that the airbag bag 231 is filled.

Further, at least a part of the rotating hinge 3 has a downwardly concave arc plate shape. Therefore, the elasticity of the rotating hinge 3 can be enhanced, and the phenomenon that the rotating hinge 3 is broken due to the fact that the lining reinforcing plate 21 is stressed too much when the air bag cloth bag 231 is inflated is avoided.
The following describes the operation of the hood assembly 2 when the vehicle 100 of the embodiment of the invention collides with a pedestrian.
When the vehicle 100 collides with a pedestrian, the igniter 2324 receives an ignition signal, the auxiliary heating device 2323 is activated, and the compressed gas in the compressed gas storage chamber 2321 rapidly flows into the air inlet pipe 2311 of the air bag cloth bag 231 through the air outlet hole 2322 under the heating action of the auxiliary heating device 2323, and then flows into the air bag cloth bag 231 through the air inlet pipe of the air bag cloth bag 231. Gasbag sack 231 is at quick aerate's in-process, engine hood planking 22 receives the ascending impulsive force of powerful vertical direction, this impulsive force exceeds the joining force between engine hood planking 22 and inside lining reinforcing plate 21, make engine hood planking 22 overcome with inside lining reinforcing plate 21 within a definite time joining force, and make engine hood planking 22 non-destructively shake off the restraint of inside lining reinforcing plate 21, vertical upward movement certain distance, spacing stretching strap 24 is stretched this moment, inside lining reinforcing plate 21 is owing to only take place certain elastic deformation with rotation hinge 3 fixed connection is spacing. When the pedestrian protection airbag 23 is completely deployed, the pedestrian protection airbag 23 covers almost all hard points in the vehicle, as shown in fig. 7 and 8, the buffer space between the hood outer panel 22 and the vehicle interior is increased, the injury to the pedestrian is greatly reduced, and the pedestrian is better protected.
The engine hood assembly 2 is simple to manufacture, low in cost, good in reliability, strong in practicability, easy to popularize and better in pedestrian protection function.
