Further, the distance detecting module 114 detects the distance between the installation position of the control knob 11 on the washing machine body 2 and the control knob 11, and sends the distance information to the control module 112, the control module 112 judges whether to start the display module 113 according to the received distance information, and when the distance is greater than a preset distance, the display module 113 is opened, so that the user can monitor the washing machine at a far end in real time through the display module 113. Specifically, the distance detection module 114 is a Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID), a laser, or an infrared sensor.
The invention can judge whether to start the remote control by judging whether the distance between the control knob 11 and the washing machine is larger than the preset distance, if the distance between the control knob 11 and the washing machine is larger than the preset distance, the distance between the control knob 11 and the washing machine is larger than the maximum distance which can be observed or controlled by a user, and the display module 113 is automatically opened by the control module 112; if the distance between the control knob 11 and the washing machine is less than or equal to the preset distance, it indicates that the distance between the control knob 11 and the washing machine is within the range that the user can directly observe or control the washing machine, and the display module 113 is turned off without observing the operation state information of the washing machine through the display module 113 or controlling the program of the washing machine through the control knob 11 and the knob column. Through the judgment condition of the distance between the control knob 11 and the washing machine, the control knob 11 can adopt an optimal operation mode under different conditions, the purpose of remotely monitoring the washing process is realized, the real-time monitoring of the operation state of the washing machine by a user is facilitated, and great convenience is brought to the life of the user.
That is, by adopting the above-described aspect of the present invention, i.e., by setting the preset distance while the washing machine is operating, it is possible to give a conclusion as to whether the control knob 11 performs the display function. The preset distance can be flexibly adjusted and set according to actual conditions, and the scheme can be optimized as long as the condition that whether the demarcation point of the display function is executed or not determined by the preset distance is met.
In the structure of the control knob 11, a person skilled in the art can flexibly adjust and set the preset distance according to actual conditions. As a result of repeated tests, observations and comparisons by the inventors, it is determined that the timing for starting the display module 113 is better when the preset distance is 1 m. In order to be able to turn off the display module 113 in time, the control knob assembly 1 further includes a water detection module 115, and the water detection module 115 is used for detecting whether the control knob 11 is placed in water. When it is detected that the control knob 11 is placed in water, the display module 113 is turned off.
If the control knob 11 is located in the washing machine together with the object to be washed and washed, it indicates that other functions of the control knob 11, such as bacteria detection, sterilization, etc., need to be used, and because the control knob 11 and the object to be washed are mixed together, the user cannot observe the content displayed by the display module 113, and the display module 113 is turned off by the control module 112 of the control knob assembly 1, which is beneficial to energy conservation. If the control knob 11 is not placed in the washing machine for use, the display module 113 is turned on by the control module 112 of the control knob 11, and the detection data of other functions during operation is displayed by the display module 113.

a display module for displaying a program and/or status information of the washing machine;
a distance detection module for detecting a distance between the control knob and the washing machine;
the control module can control the display module according to the distance detected by the distance detection module;
the control module is configured to turn on the display module when the distance is greater than a preset distance;
the control knob assembly further includes a water detection module for detecting whether the control knob is placed in water, the control module further configured to turn off the display module when it is detected that the control knob is placed in water.
2. The control knob assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a knob post disposed on said washing machine, said control knob being removably mountable over said knob post.
