The application provides a variable displacement vane pump with a sealing compensation function, which comprises a pump body, a rotating pin, a rotor, a variable sliding block, a variable spring and a rectangular sealing strip, wherein a variable feedback oil cavity is arranged between the pump body and the variable sliding block, the variable sliding block is provided with a spring pressing block and a sealing piece mounting groove, the variable spring is arranged on one side of the spring pressing block, the rectangular sealing strip is arranged in the sealing piece mounting groove, a gap is arranged between the rectangular sealing strip and the bottom of the sealing piece mounting groove, and a compensation oil duct which is used for communicating the sealing piece mounting groove with the variable feedback oil cavity is arranged on the variable sliding block. The application cancels the traditional sealing support piece, utilizes the compensation oil duct to introduce pressure oil to support the rectangular sealing piece, and makes the rectangular sealing strip cling to the pump body to play a role in sealing; when the rectangular sealing strip is worn, the rectangular sealing strip can be automatically compensated under the action of pressure oil, so that the defect that the rectangular sealing strip cannot be sealed due to aging or wear is overcome.
