Fig. 1A to 1B are schematic views of a display mode of a display according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The display includes: a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight (not shown), wherein the liquid crystal display panel comprises a display area, and the display area comprises: an advertising area A and a non-advertising area B surrounding the advertising area A; the advertisement area a is used for displaying advertisements, and may be located at different positions of the display, and is generally disposed at a middle position of the display. In this embodiment, the lcd panel uses a transflective display mode in the advertisement area a and uses a transmissive display mode in the non-advertisement area B.
That is, each sub-pixel of the advertisement area A includes a transmissive portion and a reflective portion; the transmission part is used for transmitting light emitted by the backlight source, and the reflection part is used for reflecting sunlight; each sub-pixel of the non-advertising region B also includes the transmissive region; the advertisement area A is used for displaying in the daytime, and the reflecting part of the advertisement area A is used for reflecting sunlight, so that the display is used as a billboard or a display board to display the advertisement; at night, the advertisement area A and the non-advertisement area B are used for displaying images, the light emitted by the backlight source is transmitted out through the transmission parts of the non-advertisement area B and the advertisement area A, and the display is used as a player for displaying images.
Referring to fig. 1B, the lcd panel includes an array substrate 1 and a color film substrate 2 disposed opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer (not shown) disposed between the array substrate 1 and the color film substrate 2, wherein the color film substrate 2 includes a color film 21 corresponding to the sub-pixel and a black matrix 20 surrounding the color film 21; the transmission parts comprise a first transmission part 210 corresponding to the advertisement area A and a second transmission part 212 corresponding to the non-advertisement area B, and the reflection parts comprise a first reflection part 211; wherein the color film 21 corresponding to the advertisement area a includes a first reflective portion 211 and a first transmissive portion 210; the color film 21 corresponding to the non-advertising area B includes a second transmission portion 212; that is, the areas of the first transmissive portion 210 and the second transmissive portion 212 are not equal, i.e., the transflective display is performed in the advertisement area a and the transmissive display is performed in the non-advertisement area B. The color film substrate 2 or the array substrate 1 is provided with a first reflective layer 10 at a portion corresponding to the first reflective portion 211, and the color film 21 forms the first transmissive portion 210 at a portion other than the first reflective layer 10. The first reflective layer 10 shown in the figure is prepared on the film layer of the array substrate 1 corresponding to the first reflective portion 211 in the sub-pixel, where the specific film layer position of the first reflective layer 10 is not limited, as shown by the arrow in the figure, sunlight is reflected by the first reflective layer 10 through the liquid crystal layer and reaches the human eye through the liquid crystal layer, so as to display the advertisement of the advertisement area a, such as a mark of "CSOT. Of course, the first reflective layer 10 may also be prepared on the film layer of the color film substrate 2 corresponding to the first reflective portion 211, which is not limited herein. The first transmission portion 210 of the advertisement area a and the second transmission portion 212 of the non-advertisement area B are configured to transmit the light emitted from the backlight source for display.
This design may not require the display to be turned on during the day, and thus does not consume power; or under the strong sunlight in the daytime, the transflective display of the advertisement area A can be selectively started, and the sunlight is reflected by the first reflecting layer 10 in the pixel or the backlight source is used for displaying at the same time, so that the richness of advertisement display of the advertisement area A can be increased, and meanwhile, the consumption of electric energy is greatly reduced compared with that of pure transmission display.
In the drawing, the transflective display mode of the advertisement area a and the transmissive display mode of the non-advertisement area B may share the same Gamma voltage driving system, where each sub-pixel of the advertisement area a includes a first transmissive portion 210 and a first reflective portion 211, and the first reflective portion 211 may optionally have a smaller thickness (about 1/2) of the liquid crystal cell than the first transmissive portion 210, or/and an angle of the electrode, or/and a height of the electrode, or/and a width of the electrode, so that the first reflective portion 211 and the first transmissive portion 210 of the sub-pixel have the same or similar V-T curve characteristics, so that the two positions share the same Gamma voltage driving system.
Wherein the display design of the first transmission part 210 of each sub-pixel of the advertisement area a is the same as the display design of the second transmission part 212 of the non-advertisement area B. In addition, the position or layer structure of the first reflective layer 10 in this embodiment is not limited.
In addition, an area ratio of the first reflective portion 211 to the first transmissive portion 210 corresponding to the sub-pixel of the advertisement area a may be set in advance, and a reflectance at the time of displaying the advertisement area a or a transmittance at the time of displaying an image may be set. Since the reflective portion does not work when the advertisement area a displays an image at night, the transmittance of the first transmissive portion 210 decreases, and in order to make the overall brightness of the display uniform, the backlight brightness of the advertisement area a may be designed to be higher than that of the non-advertisement area B in advance, for example, the number or density of light sources below the direct backlight diffusion plate is greater in the advertisement area a than in the non-advertisement area B, for example, the current driven by the light source of the advertisement area a is greater than that of the non-advertisement area B, for example, the density of the side-entry backlight dots is designed to be optimized.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a display mode of a display according to a second embodiment of the invention. The advertisement area a in the first embodiment includes a fixed advertisement board area C, such as a fixed advertisement identifier like "CSOT", and a non-fixed advertisement board area other than the fixed advertisement board area C; the distinguishing features of this embodiment compared with the first embodiment are that: in this embodiment, the position of the advertisement area a corresponds to the position of the fixed billboard area C, and the area of the advertisement area a is equal to the area of the fixed billboard area C. That is, the display area of the liquid crystal display panel includes only the fixed billboard area C and the non-billboard area B surrounding the fixed billboard area C; the fixed billboard area C is in a semi-transparent reflection type display.
Referring to fig. 3A to 3D, a schematic diagram of a display mode of a display according to a third embodiment of the present invention is shown. This embodiment is further configured on the basis of the first embodiment, in addition to the fact that the transflective display mode is commonly used in the advertisement area a and the transmissive display mode is used in the non-advertisement area B, the reflective portion of this embodiment further includes a second reflective portion, the second reflective portion is located at a position corresponding to the black matrix 20 around the color film 21 of the fixed advertisement board area C, and a portion of the color film substrate 2 corresponding to the second reflective portion is provided with a second reflective layer 22. As shown in fig. 3B to 3D, the second reflective layer 22 is disposed on the film layer of the color film substrate 2 corresponding to the vertical position of the black matrix 20, and three different preparation forms of the second reflective layer 22 are illustrated, including but not limited to being disposed on the inner surface or the outer surface of the color film substrate 2.
As shown by the arrows in the figure, the sunlight reflected by the second reflective layer 22 directly reaches the human eye without passing through the liquid crystal layer, and the human eye can observe a fixed billboard, such as logo like "CSOT" and "TCL", due to the difference between the strong reflected light of the second reflective layer 22 and other areas. The transflective display of the advertisement area a may be selectively turned on, and the first reflective layer 10 in the sub-pixel may be used to reflect sunlight for display, or the backlight source may be used to display the advertisement area a at the same time, so that the advertisement display in the advertisement area a may be increased in color, and the consumption of electric energy may be reduced more than that of the pure transmissive display. The specific position of the second reflective layer 22 is not limited as long as it is located at the vertical position of the black matrix 20. The second reflective layer 22 may be formed before or after the black matrix 20 or before or after the color film 21 on the inner surface of the color film substrate 2, and is not limited herein.

That is, the display area of the liquid crystal display panel includes only the fixed billboard area C and the non-billboard area B surrounding the fixed billboard area C; the fixed billboard area C is in a semi-transparent reflection type display.
The fifth embodiment of the present invention provides a display, which is characterized in that compared with the third or fourth embodiment, the fifth embodiment is characterized in that: in this embodiment, only the non-advertising area B and the fixed advertising board area C are provided, that is, the position of the advertising area a corresponds to the position of the fixed advertising board area C, and the area of the advertising area a is equal to the area of the fixed advertising board area C; and the display modes of the liquid crystal display panel are all transmission display modes, and the position of the fixed advertising board area C is only provided with the second reflecting layer 22. That is, the area of the first transmission portion 210 is equal to the area of the second transmission portion 212, and is equal to the area of the color film 21 corresponding to one sub-pixel; the first reflective layer 10 is not disposed within the sub-pixels. During daytime, the display may be in an off state, and the stationary billboard zone C reflects sunlight through the second reflective layer 22 to display the stationary advertisement; at night, since the second reflective layer 22 is not active, the light emitted from the backlight source is transmitted out for displaying an image through the second transmission portion 212 of the non-advertising area B and the first transmission portion 210 of the fixed billboard area C.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a display mode of a display according to a sixth embodiment of the invention.
