All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Wherever possible, the same reference numbers will be used throughout the drawings to refer to the same or like parts.
Fig. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of a display device according to an embodiment of the present invention.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a display device may include: a flexible display screen 4; a back panel 100 positioned behind the flexible display screen 4; a functional element 1 provided on the back plate 100; and a driving device configured to drive the flexible display 4 to move to expose the functional element 1. In particular, the functional element 1 may be arranged at the edge of the back plate 100 and towards the flexible display 4.
Here, the rear of the flexible display 4 may refer to a non-display side of the flexible display 4, and the one side may refer to another side opposite to a side where the display area of the flexible display 4 is located. The back plate 100 may refer to a main circuit board, or may be a circuit board separately designed for the functional element 1, and the back plate 100 is not limited herein. In addition, the whole or part of the flexible display 4 may be a display region, and the area occupied by the display region is not limited herein.
Specifically, the display device may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, another mobile terminal with a display function, or the like. When the display device does not need to use the functional element 1, the flexible display 4 may shield the functional element 1, i.e. the functional element 1 may be fixedly hidden behind the flexible display 4. When the functional element 1 needs to be used, the driving device can drive the flexible display screen 4 to move, so that the functional element 1 is exposed, and then the corresponding function of the functional element is completed. The driving action of the driving device may be automatic or manual, and is not limited herein.
It should be understood that the functional elements 1 described above may refer to those elements that need to be aligned with the display side of the flexible display 4 to perform their respective functions. For example, the display side of the flexible display 4 is oriented to the user, and the functional element 1 is oriented to the user when applied. Specifically, the functional element 1 may be at least one of a camera, a distance sensor, an ambient light sensor, an earpiece and a fingerprint sensor, and the like, that is, the number of the functional elements 1 may be one or more, and the number is not limited herein. When the number of the functional elements 1 is plural, each of them may be referred to as a functional element unit. In addition, the flexible display screen 4 may be a full screen or a non-full screen, which is not limited herein.
For example, when the functional element 1 disposed behind the flexible display 4 includes a fingerprint sensor, the outer surface of the display device does not need to be provided with a fingerprint identification area, so that the display device is more convenient and beautiful.
In addition, the flexible display 4 may be a single screen body, or may be formed by combining a plurality of sub-screen bodies, which is not limited herein. Specifically, when the flexible display 4 is formed by combining a plurality of sub-screen bodies, the sub-screen bodies may or may not be in contact with each other, which is not limited herein. Correspondingly, the driving device may include different driving units for respectively driving the sub-screen bodies of each flexible display 4 to move, so as to expose the corresponding functional elements 1 of the sub-screen bodies of each flexible display 4.
For the moving process of the flexible display 4, for convenience of description, the identification position can be selected to assist description. Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the functional element 1 may be located at the upper edge of the display device, and the first position 2 of the flexible display 4 is selected as the mark position, where the flexible display 4 is in the first state of shielding the functional element 1. After the driving device drives the flexible display screen 4 to move, the identification position can be moved to the second position 3, and at the moment, the flexible display screen 4 is in the second state of exposing the functional element 1, so that the corresponding function can be realized. It will be appreciated that in the second state a portion of the flexible display 4 is rolled into the interior of the display device.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the flexible display screen 4 can be driven to move by the driving device, so that the functional element 1 positioned behind the flexible display screen 4 is exposed when in use and is shielded by the flexible display screen 4 when in no use, and thus, the limitation of the screen occupation ratio maximization caused by the display area occupied by the functional element 1 is effectively avoided.
In another embodiment of the invention the total display area of the flexible display 4 is the movable display area 13.
In particular, the functional element 1 is located at one end of the display device, and the flexible display 4 may be distanced from the one end to expose the functional element 1 so that the functional element 1 performs its function. After the functional element 1 has completed the function, the flexible display 4 can be close to the end to shield the functional element 1 again, so that the moving direction of the flexible display 4 can be single. When the functional element 1 includes a plurality of functional element units and is dispersed at multiple ends of the display device, the flexible display screen 4 may be far away from any one end of the multiple ends to expose the functional element unit corresponding to the one end, and after one functional element unit completes the function, the flexible display screen 4 may be close to the one end to shield the functional element unit again, and then move again to enable another functional element 1 to function, which may be controlled by a program, and will not be described herein again.
Since the flexible display 4 is the entire display area, the driving device can drive the flexible display 4 to move so as to expose the functional element 1 located at any position.
It should be understood that the end of the display device referred to herein may be any one of a top end, a bottom end, a left end and a right end, and is not limited thereto.
In another embodiment of the invention, the functional element 1 is close to the edge of the back plate 100, and the flexible display 4 is far away from the edge of the back plate 100 to expose the functional element 1. Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the functional element 1 is provided at one end of the display device, wherein the flexible display 4 may be away from the one end to expose the functional element 1. One end of the display device is provided with the functional element 1 and the driving device may be configured to drive the flexible display 4 away from this end. In addition, the functional element 1 is arranged at one end of the display device, the flexible display screen 4 can move for a short distance to expose the functional element 1, and the whole moving process is convenient and fast.
Fig. 2 is a schematic configuration diagram of a display device according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the functional elements 1 include a first type of functional elements disposed at a first end of the back panel 100 and a second type of functional elements disposed at a second end of the back panel 100, the first end and the second end being opposite to each other, one of the first type of functional elements and the second type of functional elements being in a constant exposure state, and the flexible display 4 being moved to shield or expose only the other of the first type of functional elements and the second type of functional elements.
As shown in fig. 2, the functional element 1 disposed at the upper edge of the display device may be in a constantly exposed state, and the functional element 1 disposed at the lower edge of the display device may be shielded or exposed by the flexible display 4, for example, the functional element 1 at the lower edge may be a fingerprint recognizer. The identification position of the flexible display 4 may have a third position 5 and a fourth position 6. When the marking position is moved to the third position 5, the functional element 1 can be exposed and the user can perform the corresponding function. When the marking position is moved to the fourth position 6, the functional element 1 is covered. Therefore, the display device can avoid the arrangement of a fingerprint identification area on the outer surface, and the display device is more convenient and attractive. It will also be appreciated that in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the functional element 1 is arranged in a non-hidden manner at the upper edge of the display device. The flexible display 4 need not cover the functional element 1 during use of the display device.
Fig. 3 is a schematic configuration diagram of a display device according to still another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the flexible display 4 is still in a state of displaying a picture while the flexible display 4 is moved. This allows the flexible display 4 to be touch-controlled during or after being moved. Specifically, the flexible display screen 4 may be a touch screen, and the display device may be a mobile phone. When the user uses the mobile phone, the bottom end 9 of the mobile phone can be held by one hand. When the driving device drives the flexible display screen 4 to be close to the bottom end 9 of the mobile phone, the side of the flexible display screen 4 close to the top end 8 of the mobile phone can move towards the bottom end 9 of the mobile phone, and then is close to the hand of the user. Before the flexible display 4 is close to the bottom end 9 of the phone, the side of the flexible display 4 close to the top end 8 of the phone may be in an area where a user cannot touch with one hand. After one side of the flexible display screen 4, which is close to the top end 8 of the mobile phone, is close to the bottom end 9 of the mobile phone, the side can be in the single-hand touch range of a user, so that the user can touch the flexible display screen 4 with one hand, and the problem that the user in a large display area cannot perform touch operation with one hand is solved.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 3, a plurality of functional elements 1 may still be provided at the edge of the back plate 100, and movement of the flexible display 4 may expose the respective functional elements 1. Preferably, a plurality of functional elements 1 are provided at longitudinally opposite ends of the display device. For example, the opposite ends may be the top end 8 and the bottom end 9 of the display device.
When a plurality of functional elements 1 are arranged at two opposite ends of the display device, the moving direction of the flexible display screen 4 can be a straight line, so that the structure of the driving device is simplified, the rear part of the flexible display screen 4 can be provided with the plurality of functional elements 1, and the arrangement positions of the plurality of functional elements 1 can be free from being limited at one end of the display device.
Fig. 4 is a schematic configuration diagram of a display device according to still another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the flexible display 4 includes a non-movable display area 12 and a movable display area 13, and the functional element 1 is disposed on the rear panel 100 behind the movable display area 13.
When the flexible display 4 is displayed, the movable display area 13 and the non-movable display area 12 are in contact with each other, as shown in fig. 4, so as to display in a maximized manner. When the functional element 1 is required to be used, the movable display region 13 is far from the non-movable display region 12, and may also overlap with the non-movable display region 12, so that the functional element 1 is exposed, and the moving direction of the movable display region 13 is not limited herein.
Here, the functional elements 1 can be exposed and shielded only by driving the movable display region 13, which reduces the power requirements for the driving means, thereby saving energy.
In another embodiment of the invention the drive means are configured to drive the movable display area 13 away from the functional element 1 to expose the functional element 1. Specifically, the movable display region 13 is provided at one end of the display device so that it can be detachably contacted with the non-movable display region 12. The movable display region 13 is moved in a direction away from the non-movable display region 12, so that the non-movable display region 12 is prevented from interfering with the movement of the movable display region 13, thereby simplifying the structure of the driving device.
