Abstract
本发明涉及从昆齐亚阿比瓜灌木提取的精油,该精油具有两种不同的治疗用途,可单独使用或与载体共用,该精油还具有其它用途。
Description
本发明涉及一种精油及其使用方法。传统上,精油被用作医药及防腐剂。在中世纪,精油基本上是所有药物的主要成分。
一般地,精油是从水果、花朵、树叶、树皮及木材中得到的,并且可以用多种方法提取,通常用蒸馏法提取,也可用蒸汽提取或在真空下提取,还可用冷压法提取。
本发明的目的是提供一种新型的、含有有益特性的精油。
从最广义上讲,本发明包括从昆齐亚(Kunzea)属植物中提取的精油。
更具体地讲,本发明涉及从昆齐亚阿比瓜(Kunzea ambigua)灌木中提取的精油。
进一步地,该精油是由灌木的绿色部位通过蒸馏获得的。其中的蒸馏是蒸汽蒸馏。
精油可用于治疗人体疾病,并被局部地用于缓解疼痛、缩小挫伤面及帮助康复,它可单独使用也可与载体一起使用。
为了使本发明能够更易于理解,现描述一个具体的实施例。
可以从许多桃金科、昆齐亚属、阿比瓜类灌木中提取精油。
此类灌木看来似乎分布并不广泛,它被发现生长于塔斯马尼亚岛,该岛接近第41度纬线,气候凉爽,降雨量为大约850毫米。
此类灌木很硬,可以用饲草收割机机械地除去上面的叶子进行收割。
然后使用收割机取回叶子、小树干及种子荚。
由于此类植物很硬,植物会在原地再生,有可能在一两年后进行再收割。
将收割到的植物放入蒸馏釜中进行蒸馏,从而使植物的细胞破碎,将油释放出来。油随着蒸汽不断地释放出来并冷凝,如此形成的油/水进入一个容器中,油可漂浮至容器顶部并将其排放收集。
以下的实施例示出了从该灌木中提取的油的气体色谱分析结果,可以发现在每一个实施例中的主要成分为单或倍半萜烯。
参照实施例1,主要成分为α-蒎烯,占50.52%,1-8-桉树脑,占14.08%,倍半萜烯醇和蓝桉醇,占6.81%,绿花碱醇,占5.96%。
在实施例2中,主要成分仍然为α-蒎烯,占41.5%,1-8-桉树脑,占12.1%。在此情况下,存在三种倍半萜烯醇,它们的总含量为25.5%。
当改变精油中绝对百分比进行其它分析时,各种成分的相对百分比非常相似,上述成分具有很大优势。
用此精油在许多治疗应用方面进行试验,虽然整个试验还没有完成,但已经发现,从质量方面看,此精油能够减少由肌肉、筋腱劳损及冲击外伤所引起的疼痛,同时,此精油也被发现能够缓解由痛风、头痛及叮咬,特别是昆虫和蜘蛛及其它的叮咬引起的疼痛。
在治疗皮疹、皮肤过敏和痤疮方面,此精油也具有极好的治疗效果。
此精油在消除瘘管充血方面也具有很好的效果,从而,有助于恢复味觉和嗅觉。
虽然到目前为止,此精油治疗生殖器疱疹的功效还不能确定,但它具有防止唇疱疹发展的功效。
此精油在治疗挫伤方面已经呈现出令人惊奇的效果。
如果在发生外伤之后,但在发生挫伤之前或只是在初期使用此精油,已发现受伤状况几乎被完全地改善了。
该精油对皮肤似乎没有很强的不利反应,虽然对于所有的精油来说,皮肤敏感的人在全效使用之前都应当慎重,但此精油能很容易地使用,将其溶解在载油、优选纯植物油、可以是水悬浮液的洗剂、或通常可以是石油乳化软膏基的软膏中。
在使用昆齐亚阿比瓜油时,无论是单独使用、与载油一起使用还是与一种洗剂共同使用,此油似乎相对很快地渗入皮肤,所以毫无疑问它具有分子大小,以使这种情况发生,虽然到目前为止还没有发现其分子的大小。
很显然,对于绵羊来说,这种昆齐亚阿比瓜灌木并不可口,因为它们不吃此类灌木,这说明这种灌木可与牧草种在一起或留在一起,而绵羊只吃牧草不会损害此类灌木,从而可有效地保持该区域基本洁净。这就意味着种植这种灌木以生产精油的地区的土地可以更有效地、双倍地获得使用。
另外,当灌木收割后,可以很容易地利用一些可选择的种植手段扩大灌木的再生,只是到现在为止还没有机会去这样做。
除了药用作用,此油还可用于其它方面。
首先,它可用于油的发散器中。它的气味清新,并不非常让人反感。另外,它也可以作为香料基用于香水,也可随意地用于护肤品,从而在日常产品的使用中得到此油的益处。
经研究发现,该油可作为驱虫剂使用。
还发现此油可作为高效的生锈抑制剂。一个显示此油作用的事例是:在某一盐分含量很高的地区,离此灌木很近的作为栅栏的金属丝并没有如预期地生锈,这被认为是灌木的叶子蒸发出来的油使得它没有生锈。
另外,此油也可用于手工艺品加工中抛光木料或类似物的作用,如此经过抛光的木料不仅具有良好的外观,并且具有长久的油的香味。
在描述此油本身、制造方法和各种用途的时候,可以理解,这些都可以随着油的用途的发展而变化。
在上述的实施例中,描述了从灌木昆齐亚阿比瓜中提取的油的作用,可以相信,从其它昆齐亚阿比瓜属植物中提取出的油具有相同的特性。

Claims (14)
1.从昆齐亚阿比瓜属灌木中提取的精油。
2.如权利要求1的精油,该精油是由灌木的绿色部位通过蒸馏获得的。
3.如权利要求1的精油,其中的蒸馏是蒸汽蒸馏。
4.如权利要求1-3中任一权利要求所述的精油在制备用于局部地缓解疼痛及缩小创伤面治疗的药物中的用途。
5.如权利要求4的用途,其中所缓解的疼痛是由肌肉、筋腱劳损、冲击外伤、痛风、头痛、昆虫和蜘蛛及其它叮咬所引起的疼痛。
6.如权利要求4的用途,其中精油在制备用于缓解瘘管充血药物中的用途。
7.如权利要求4的用途,其中精油在制备用于控制唇疱疹的发展,治愈皮炎及挫伤的康复药物中的用途。
8.如权利要求4的用途,其中精油在制备用于治疗皮疹、皮肤过敏和痤疮药物中的用途。
9.如权利要求4的用途,其中精油与载体共用。
10.如权利要求7的用途,其中的载体是植物油。
11.如权利要求7的用途,其中的载体是洗剂。
12.如权利要求7的用途,其中的载体是软膏。
13.如权利要求1-2中任一权利要求所述的精油在制备驱虫剂药物中的用途。
14.如权利要求1-2中任一权利要求所述的精油在制备生锈抑制剂中的用途。
