Example one
Fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart of a video conference method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the video conference method includes step 101 of monitoring states of a plurality of servers; 102, when monitoring that a first server is abnormal, informing a client connected with the first server to disconnect; step 103, receiving a request for joining a video conference sent by a client; and 104, distributing the servers which normally work for the client, and returning the information of the servers which normally work to the client. The following describes steps 101-104.
Step 101, monitoring the states of a plurality of servers.
As shown in fig. 1-2, in an embodiment, the server 33 includes a plurality of servers, such as a first server 331, a second server 332, a third server, a load balancing server, a service server, a monitoring server, and the like, where the servers may be physical servers or logical servers, and applications of load balancing, service services, monitoring, and the like may be located on one server or on different servers.
In one embodiment, for example, the client 311 in the first meeting place 31 and the client 321 in the second meeting place 32 perform a video conference through the first server 331, that is, the client 311 performs audio-video communication with the first server 331, and the client 321 also performs audio-video communication with the first server 331.
In one embodiment, the listening server may be used to listen to the statuses of multiple servers, for example, to listen to whether a server in the server 33 can provide a service normally, for example, whether audio-video communication with the client 311 and the client 321 can be performed normally.
Step 102, when the first server is monitored to be abnormal, the client connected with the first server is notified to disconnect.
In one embodiment, when the first server is monitored to be abnormal, the client connected with the first server is notified to disconnect. The first server is not specific, and means that a server is not normally monitored. In one embodiment, a server is considered to be abnormal when it becomes deadlocked, crashed, or otherwise unable to continue providing service.
In an embodiment, in an ongoing video conference, for example, the client 311 in the first meeting place 31 and the client 321 in the second meeting place 32 conduct a video conference through the first server 331, both the client 311 and the client 321 are connected to the first server 331, the monitoring server monitors the states of the plurality of servers in real time, and when it is monitored that the first server 331 is not normal, the client 311 and the client 321 are notified to be disconnected from the first server 331. After receiving the notification, the client 311 and the client 321 disconnect from the first server 331, and then send a request for rejoining the videoconference to the service server.
In one embodiment, this step further includes the server 33 deleting the first server 331 from the server list or marking the first server 331 as unavailable.
And step 103, receiving a request for joining the video conference sent by the client.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1-2, the service 33 receives a request sent by a client to join a video conference, for example, a service server in the service 33 receives a request sent by a client to join a video conference. The clients include the client 311 and the client 321. The service server can assign a conference number to the client 311 and the client 321, and after the conference number exists, the client 311 and the client 321 are both connected to the conference number to perform a video conference. The service server also stores the correspondence between the conference number and the client, for example, the client 311 and the client 321 are connected to the conference 123456, and the other clients are connected to the conference 123457.
And 104, distributing the servers which normally work for the client, and returning the information of the servers which normally work to the client.
In one embodiment, this step includes: and distributing a second server which normally works for the client, and returning the information of the second server to the client. As shown in fig. 1-2, the server 33 selects a second server 332 in a normal state to allocate to the client, where the second server 332 is not specific and means a server in a normal state, and when there are multiple servers in a normal state, one server in a normal state can be selected according to a load balancing principle. After selecting the normal second server 332, the server 33 returns information of the second server 332 to the client 311 and the client 321. The client 311 and the client 321 establish connection with the second server 332 according to the returned information of the second server 332, and perform audio-video communication.
In one embodiment, the server 33 further stores the correspondence between the second server 332 and the conference number. For example, the conference number of the video conference in which the client 311 and the client 321 are located is 123458, and when the client 311 and the client 321 perform the video conference through the second server 332, the corresponding relationship between the conference number 123458 and the second server 332 is stored (or updated), so that when a client needs to join the conference number 123458, the client that needs to join the video conference is notified to establish a connection with the second server 332 according to the corresponding relationship between the conference number 123458 and the second server 332, which is convenient and fast to use.
In another embodiment, the present step comprises: judging whether the first server is normal, if so, allocating the first server to the client, and returning the information of the first server to the client; and if the first server is abnormal, a second server which normally works is allocated to the client, and the information of the second server is returned to the client. As shown in fig. 1-2, after receiving a request for joining a video conference sent by a client, the server 33 determines whether the first server 331 is normal, and if so, allocates the first server to the client, and returns information of the first server to the client; and if the first server is abnormal, a second server which normally works is allocated to the client, and the information of the second server is returned to the client. In an embodiment, after the server 33 receives the request for joining the video conference sent by the client, the load balancing server in the server 33 determines whether the first server 331 is normal. Because the client 311 and the client 321 perform video communication through the first server 331 before, it is determined whether the first server 331 is recovered to normal, and if the first server 331 is recovered to normal, information of the first server 331 is returned to the client 311 and the client 321, so that the client 311 and the client 321 perform video conference through the first server 331 again, on one hand, the implementation is simple and convenient, and the client 311 and the client 321 perform video conference through the first server 331 without performing load balancing calculation again; on the other hand, the stability of the service end 33 is also maintained. In one embodiment, whether the first server 331 is normal may be determined by determining whether the first server 331 is capable of providing normal service.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1-2, if the first server 331 has recovered to normal, the server 33 returns the information of the first server 331 to the client 311 and the client 321. The client 311 and the client 321 establish connection with the first server 331 according to the returned information of the first server 331, and perform audio and video communication.
In one embodiment, the server 33 further stores the correspondence between the first server 331 and the conference number. For example, the conference number of the video conference in which the client 311 and the client 321 are located is 123458, and when the client 311 and the client 321 perform the video conference through the first server 331, the corresponding relationship between the conference number 123458 and the first server 331 is stored (or updated), so that when a subsequent client needs to join the conference number 123458, the subsequent client that needs to join the video conference is notified to establish a connection with the first server 331 according to the corresponding relationship between the conference number 123458 and the first server 331, which is convenient and fast to use.
In the video conference method of this embodiment, states of a plurality of servers are monitored, when it is monitored that the first server 331 is not normal, the client connected to the first server 331 is notified to disconnect, then the client sends a request for rejoining the video conference, after receiving a request for joining the video conference from the client, a server in a normal state is selected, information of the normal server is returned to the client, and the client establishes a connection with the normal server to perform the video conference. According to the embodiment, the aim that the client can still continue to carry out the video conference when the server cannot continue to provide the service is achieved, the use is simple and convenient, and a flexible disaster recovery strategy is achieved. In the method, the clients of one conference are connected to one server, all the servers are not required to be stateless, the implementation is simple, and the expansion is convenient.
Example two
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of a video conference method according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the video conference method includes step 201 of detecting a connection between a first server and a client performing a video conference through the first server; step 202, when the communication between the first server and the client is over time, the client is informed to be disconnected with the first server; step 203, receiving a request for joining the video conference sent by the client; and step 204, distributing the servers which normally work for the client, and returning the information of the servers which normally work to the client. The following describes steps 201 and 204.
Step 201, detecting a connection between a first server and a client performing a video conference through the first server.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and 3, for example, both the client 311 and the client 321 are in audio-video communication with the first server 331, that is, the client 311 and the client 321 perform a video conference through the first server 331. In this step, the server 33 detects the connection between the first server 331 and the client 311 and the client 321, for example, a heartbeat signal is set between the first server 331 and the client 311, a heartbeat signal is set between the first server 331 and the client 321, whether the heartbeat signal between the first server 331 and the client 311 is overtime is detected, and whether the heartbeat signal between the first server 331 and the client 321 is overtime is detected.
Step 202, when the communication between the first server and the client is over time, the client is notified to disconnect from the first server.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and 3, when the server 33 detects that the communication between the first server 331 and the client 311 and the client 321 is over, for example, the heartbeat signal is over, it indicates that there is a high possibility that the first server 331 is abnormal and cannot continue to provide the service, so the client 311 and the client 321 are notified to disconnect from the first server 331.
In the present embodiment, the difference from the first embodiment is that when the communication between the first server and the client is over time, the client is notified to disconnect from the first server, and in the first embodiment, when the first server is monitored to be abnormal, the client connected to the first server is notified to disconnect. In another embodiment, the first embodiment and the second embodiment can also be combined, that is, both the steps 101-102 and 201-202 are included.
Step 203, receiving a request for joining the video conference sent by the client.
This step is substantially the same as step 103, please refer to the description of step 103.
And step 204, distributing the servers which normally work for the client, and returning the information of the servers which normally work to the client.
This step is substantially the same as step 104, please refer to the description of step 104.
In the video conference method of this embodiment, a connection between a first server and a client that performs a video conference via the first server is detected, when communication between the first server and the client is over time, the client connected to the first server 331 is notified to disconnect, then the client sends a request to re-join the video conference, after receiving a request to join the video conference from the client, a server in a normal state is selected, information of the normal server is returned to the client, and the client establishes a connection with the normal server to perform the video conference.
