The sliding member 10 is a long body extending in the up-down direction, the upper end of the sliding member is provided with a headrest connecting portion 11 for connecting with the headrest 3, the front side surface 10a of the sliding member is provided with an inward concave space 12, and on a side wall of the inward concave space 12, such as the right side wall shown in fig. 3 and 4 but not limited thereto, a first tooth row 13 with a certain length in the up-down direction is provided for defining the moving distance of the headrest 3 during up-down movement adjustment as shown in fig. 3 and 4; wherein the sliding member 10 includes a long straight body and a long arc body.
The fixed member 20 is detachably disposed on the backrest frame 2 (described later), and is composed of a front seat portion 21 and a rear cover portion 22 which are opposite to each other in the front-rear direction, wherein the front seat portion 21 has a first sliding slot 23 which is concave and faces the sliding member 10, and a button slot 24 is disposed on a side wall of the first sliding slot 23, such as the right side wall shown in fig. 3 and 4, but not limited thereto, to correspond to the first tooth row 13 of the sliding member 10; wherein the rear cover portion 22 has a second sliding slot 25 recessed toward the sliding member 10; the sliding member 10 is vertically slidably interposed between the first sliding groove 23 of the front seat 21 and the second sliding groove 25 of the rear cover 22, as shown by arrow a in fig. 2,6, and 8.
The button member 30 is elastically and movably embedded in the button groove 24 of the fixed member 20 and is interposed between the front seat portion 21 of the fixed member 20 and the slider 10; the button 30 includes a pressing portion 31, a key portion 32, a button tooth row 33 and at least one elastic portion 34.
The pressing portion 31 is protruded out of the front seat portion 21 of the fixing member 20 for pressing as shown by arrow B in fig. 2,6 and 8; the protruding key portion 32 is integrally formed on one side of the pressing portion 31 and extends toward the button slot 24 of the fixing member 20; the up-down button teeth 33 are integrally formed on one side of the key 32 to be engaged with the first teeth 13 of the slider 10 (as shown in fig. 5) or disengaged from the first teeth 13 (as shown in fig. 6); the at least one elastic portion 34 is used to provide an elastic restoring force after the button member 30 is pressed.
The at least one elastic portion 34 of the button 30 further includes, but is not limited to, at least one obliquely extending elastic leg 35, the elastic leg 35 is integrally formed on the pressing portion 31 and on the same side of the pressing portion 31 as the protruding key portion 32, and extends obliquely toward the button slot 24 of the fixing member 20 to stop on a stopping portion 26 of the front seat portion 21 to form a pressing state, so as to increase the elastic restoring force of the button 30 after the pressing force is released.
When the sliding member 10 is adjusted to a new position and the pressing force of the button member 30 is released, the button member 30 is reset by the elastic restoring force of the at least one elastic portion 34 (as shown by arrow D in fig. 1, 5 and 7), so that the button teeth row 33 of the button member 30 is also reset and is engaged with the first teeth row 13 of the rail member 10 at a new position, and at this time, the sliding member 10 cannot move up and down relative to the fixing member 20, and the headrest 3 is positioned at the new position after adjustment.
A first spring fixing end 36 is further provided at the head end of the key portion 32 of the button member 30, but not limited thereto; wherein the fixing member 20 further has a second spring fixing end 27 corresponding to the first spring fixing end 36, and a compression spring 37 is disposed between the first and second spring fixing ends 36, 27 to provide a return elastic force after the button member 30 is pressed, so that the compression spring 37 can also be regarded as a part of the at least one elastic portion 34.
When the button 30 is pressed to extend into the button slot 24 of the fixing member 20 (as shown by arrow B in fig. 2,6 and 8), the at least one elastic portion 34 is compressed and deformed, the button teeth row 33 of the button 30 is displaced away from the first teeth row 13 of the slider 10, and the slider 10 is displaced up and down relative to the fixing member 20 to synchronously adjust the up and down position of the headrest 3 (as shown by arrow a in fig. 2,6 and 8).
A second row of teeth 14 is further provided on a side wall of the slider 10 opposite to the first row of teeth 13, such as, but not limited to, the left side wall shown in fig. 3 and 4; wherein, a gear groove 28 is further disposed on the side wall of the first sliding groove 23 of the fixed member 20 opposite to the button groove 24, but not limited thereto, and a damping gear 40 having a damping type rotation function is disposed in the gear groove 28, and the second row of teeth 14 of the sliding member 10 can be correspondingly engaged with the damping gear 40 (as shown in fig. 4-6), so that when the sliding member 10 slides up and down (as shown by arrow a in fig. 2,6 and 8) relative to the fixed member 20, the second row of teeth 14 of the sliding member 10 can be engaged with the damping gear 40 and slide up and down (as shown by arrow C in fig. 6), so that the sliding member 10 can achieve a stable and smooth damping effect and low noise effect when sliding up and down.
In addition, an upper hook 50 and a lower hook 60 are further assembled and combined on the fixing member 20 as shown in fig. 7 and 8, but not limited thereto, so that when the headrest is installed, the backrest frame 2 can be clamped between the upper hook 50 and the lower hook 60, so that the headrest 3 can be erected above the backrest frame 2; the shape or size of the lower hook 60 is not limited, and it may be designed to vary with the shape or size of the back frame 2, such as the lower hook 60a with a longer hook as shown in fig. 7, or the lower hook 60b with a shorter hook as shown in fig. 8, which is advantageous for adapting the up-down adjustment structure 1 of the present invention to different back frames 2.

(1) when the button 30 is pressed, the user can easily adjust the up-down position of the headrest 3, and when the button 30 is released, the up-down position of the headrest 3 is fixed, which is beneficial to increase the convenience of the user in operation.
(2) When the sliding element 10 slides up and down in the fixed element 20, the second row of teeth 14 of the sliding element 10 can simultaneously engage with the damping gear 40 of the fixed element 20 and slide, which is helpful to improve the stability and smoothness of the sliding element 10 during sliding up and down and reduce the sliding noise.
