Detailed Description
[ definitions ]
"lengthwise" and "widthwise"
In the present specification, the "longitudinal direction" and the "width direction" refer to the "longitudinal direction" and the "width direction" of the absorbent article, respectively, unless otherwise specified. The length in the longitudinal direction may be simply referred to as "length", and the length in the width direction may be simply referred to as "width".
Front zone, central zone, and rear zone "
In the present specification, the "front region", the "central region", and the "rear region" are virtual regions that are divided so as to equally divide the longitudinal length 3 of the absorbent article.
'center line in length direction' and 'center line in width direction'
In the present specification, the "longitudinal center line" is a virtual line extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article so as to equally divide the absorbent article in the width direction by 2, and the "width center line" is a virtual line extending in the width direction of the absorbent article so as to equally divide the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction by 2.
The longitudinal center line is usually present in the absorbent main body described later.
"first region" and "second region"
In the present specification, the "first region" and the "second region" refer to one region and the other region, respectively, with the longitudinal center line as a boundary.
Inner side and outer side "
in this specification, the fact that a specific portion (e.g., a wing portion) is located "inside" of the worn garment means that: in a state where the garment to which the absorbent article is fixed is worn, the specific portion is present in an area between the worn garment and the skin of the wearer, and the specific portion is located "outside" the worn garment means: when the garment to which the absorbent article is fixed is worn, the specific portion is exposed and visible from the outside.
"absorbent body portion"
in the present specification, the "absorbent main body" refers to: and a portion surrounded by a straight line along one side edge in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body and a straight line along the other side edge in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body in the unfolded state of the absorbent article. In a case where the width of the absorbent body varies depending on the location (for example, in a case where the absorbent body has an hourglass shape), a portion surrounded by two straight lines extending in the longitudinal direction, which pass through the widest part of the absorbent body, is the absorbent main body portion.
Therefore, the side edges of the absorbent main body portion in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article may not coincide with the side edges of the absorbent core in some cases.
Wing section "
in this specification, the wing portions project in each of the first region and the second region of the central region in the width direction of the absorbent article from the longitudinal side edges of the absorbent main body portion in the absorbent article. In this specification, the wing portion in the first region is sometimes referred to as a "first wing portion", the wing portion in the second region is sometimes referred to as a "second wing portion", and the first wing portion and the second wing portion together are sometimes referred to as a "pair of wing portions".
The wing portions in the front region, the central region, and the rear region are sometimes referred to as a front wing portion, a central wing portion, and a rear wing portion, respectively. The front wing, the central wing, and the rear wing in the first region may be referred to as "first front wing", "first central wing", and "first rear wing", respectively, and the front wing, the central wing, and the rear wing in the second region may be referred to as "second front wing", "second central wing", and "second rear wing", respectively.
The first front wing and the second front wing may be collectively referred to as "a pair of front wings", the first center wing and the second center wing may be collectively referred to as "a pair of center wings", and the first rear wing and the second rear wing may be collectively referred to as "a pair of rear wings".
the present invention relates to the following aspects.
[ scheme 1]
An absorbent article is provided with: a liquid-permeable sheet, a liquid-impermeable sheet, an absorbent body including an absorbent core between the liquid-permeable sheet and the liquid-impermeable sheet, and a fixing portion to be fixed to a garment to be worn, the absorbent article being characterized in that,
The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction and a width direction, and is divided into a front region, a central region and a rear region in the longitudinal direction, and is divided into a first region and a second region in the width direction by a longitudinal center line,
The absorbent article is provided with: an absorbent main body portion that has the absorber and the fixing portion and extends in the longitudinal direction, and a wing portion that protrudes in the width direction from a side edge of the absorbent main body portion in the longitudinal direction in each of a first region and a second region of the central region,
In each of the first region and the second region of the central region, the wing portions include a portion between an outer edge of the wing portion and a side edge of the absorbent core, the length in the width direction being longer than the length in the width direction between the side edge of the absorbent core and the longitudinal center line,
in each of the first region and the second region of the central region, the wing portion includes an elastic member that extends in the longitudinal direction and contracts in the longitudinal direction.
In the absorbent article, the pair of central wing portions have a predetermined length in the width direction, and constitute a pair of leg gathers together with the elastic member. Therefore, the absorbent article can suppress leakage of body fluid such as blood (e.g., menstrual blood), urine, and the like by the pair of leg gathers. Further, the pair of leg gathers of the absorbent article extending in the width direction of the absorbent article can give the wearer a visual sense of security.
[ scheme 2]
In the absorbent article according to claim 1, the wing portions each extend at least partially downward along the inner thighs of the wearer in each of the first region and the second region of the central region when the absorbent article is worn.
In the above-described absorbent article, the pair of leg gathers are configured such that at least a part of the pair of leg gathers extends downward along the inner side of the thighs of the wearer in the worn state, and therefore, in the worn state, the pair of leg gathers can extend downward while coming into close contact with the inner side of the thighs of the wearer beyond the groin portions. Therefore, the absorbent article can suppress leakage of bodily fluids as compared with the case where the requirement of claim 2 is not satisfied. In addition, the absorbent article can provide a wearer with a more visual sense of security than the case where the requirement of claim 2 is not satisfied.
[ scheme 3]
In the absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2, the absorbent article includes a leakage preventing wall rising from the absorbent article toward the skin of the wearer in a worn state in each of the first region and the second region, and a fixed end of the leakage preventing wall is present in the wing portion.
The absorbent article includes leakage preventing walls (i.e., a pair of leakage preventing walls) disposed in the first region and the second region, and fixed ends of the pair of leakage preventing walls are present in each of the pair of wing portions. Therefore, in the absorbent article, the pair of leakage preventing walls rise toward the skin of the wearer as the pair of wing portions extend downward along the inner thighs of the wearer in the worn state, and easily spread outward, so that leakage of body fluid can be further suppressed as compared with the case where the requirement of claim 3 is not satisfied.
[ scheme 4]
In the absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 3, the wing portions do not have the fixing portions in each of the first region and the second region of the central region.
In the absorbent article, the pair of central wing portions do not have fixing portions for fixing to clothing to be worn, and therefore, in a worn state, the pair of central wing portions easily extend downward beyond the groin portions while being in close contact with the inner thighs of the wearer. Therefore, the absorbent article can further suppress leakage of the absorbed body fluid, as compared with the case where the requirement of claim 4 is not satisfied.
[ scheme 5]
In the absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 4, the absorbent article further includes the wing portions including portions between outer edges of the wing portions and side edges of the absorbent core, the length in the width direction being longer than the length in the width direction between the side edges of the absorbent core and the longitudinal center line, in each of the first region and the second region of the front region.
In the absorbent article, the pair of front wing portions protrude outward in the width direction of the absorbent article than the pair of central wing portions. Therefore, the wearer can easily grip the pair of front wing portions and adjust the position of the absorbent article when wearing the absorbent article (i.e., when fixing the absorbent article to the clothing to be worn and putting the clothing on the body). In the absorbent article, the pair of leg gathers are less likely to enter clothing when the absorbent article is worn and when the absorbent article is worn, and leakage is suppressed.
[ scheme 6]
In the absorbent article according to claim 5, the wing portions are configured such that, in each of the first region and the second region of the front region, at least a part of the wing portions extend outward of the clothing to be worn along the groin of the wearer in the worn state.
In the absorbent article, the pair of wing portions are configured such that at least a part of the pair of wing portions extends outward of the clothing worn along the groin portion of the wearer in the worn state. Therefore, compared to the case where the requirement of claim 6 is not satisfied, the absorbent article described above makes it easier for the wearer to grasp the portion protruding outward of the clothing to adjust the position of the absorbent article when wearing the absorbent article. In the absorbent article, the pair of leg gathers are less likely to enter clothing when the absorbent article is worn and when the absorbent article is worn, and leakage is further suppressed than when the requirement of claim 6 is not satisfied.
[ scheme 7]
in the absorbent article according to claim 5 or 6, the elastic member includes, in each of the first region and the second region, a front end portion and a rear end portion in the longitudinal direction, and the front end portion is located closer to a widthwise center line of the absorbent article than the rear end portion.
In the absorbent article, the two total elastic members (i.e., the pair of elastic members) included in the pair of wing portions have front end portions that are closer to the widthwise center line than rear end portions, that is, the pair of elastic members are disposed closer to the rear of the absorbent article. Therefore, in the absorbent article, when the absorbent article is worn, the pair of front wing portions are less likely to enter the inner side (the longitudinal center line side) in the width direction of the absorbent article due to the influence of the elastic member, and the wearer can easily grip the pair of front wing portions to adjust the position of the absorbent article. In the absorbent article, the pair of front wing portions are less likely to be pulled by the elastic member and enter the inner side in the width direction (the longitudinal direction center line side) of the absorbent article in the worn state.
[ scheme 8]
In the absorbent article according to any one of claims 5 to 7, the elastic member is disposed so as not to overlap with an imaginary line segment that connects an intersection point at which a widthwise central line of the absorbent article and side edges of the absorbent core intersect with a front point located at the center in the longitudinal direction in the widthwise outermost part of the outer edges of the wing portions in the front region in each of the first region and the second region in the thickness direction of the absorbent article.
In an absorbent article to be used by being fixed to a garment to be worn, the absorber is generally designed to match the crotch width (the width inside the legs) which is the narrowest part of the garment to be worn, such as shorts. In the absorbent article, the elastic member is disposed at a predetermined position, so that the leg hole openings of the garment to be worn and the elastic member do not easily intersect each other in the thickness direction of the garment to be worn and the absorbent article in the worn state of the absorbent article. As a result, in the worn state, the pair of leg gathers are less likely to be pulled by the clothing and pulled into the inside of the clothing, and the position of the absorbent article is less likely to shift, and the pair of leg gathers are likely to function.
[ scheme 9]
In the absorbent article according to any one of claims 5 to 8, the wing portions do not have the fixing portions in each of the first region and the second region of the front region.
In the above-described absorbent article, the pair of front wing portions do not have fixing portions for fixing to the clothing being worn, and therefore, the wearer can pull the pair of front wing portions without being restricted by the clothing being worn when the absorbent article is worn. Therefore, the absorbent article can easily adjust the position by gripping the pair of front wing sections when worn.
[ scheme 10]
In the absorbent article according to claim 9, the absorbent article further includes the wing portions that extend outward in the width direction from the wing portions in the central region and that have the fixing portions, in each of the first region and the second region in the rear region.
In the absorbent article, the pair of rear wing portions extend outward in the width direction of the absorbent article than the pair of central wing portions, and have fixing portions for fixing to clothing to be worn. Therefore, in the absorbent article, the pair of leg gathers are less likely to enter the clothing when the absorbent article is worn and in the worn state of the absorbent article, and leakage can be further suppressed as compared with the case where the requirement of claim 10 is not satisfied.
[ scheme 11]
in the absorbent article according to claim 10, the wing portions include portions between outer edges of the wing portions and side edges of the absorbent core, the length in the width direction being longer than the length in the width direction between the side edges of the absorbent core and the longitudinal center line, in each of the first region and the second region of the rear region.
In the absorbent article, the pair of rear wing portions act to suppress the pair of leg gathers from entering the inside of the worn garment in the worn state of the absorbent article, and therefore, the absorbent article can further suppress leakage compared to the case where the requirement of claim 11 is not satisfied.
[ scheme 12]
In the absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 11, the absorbent article is folded in half along a widthwise center line.
Since the absorbent article is folded in two along the widthwise center line, a gap is easily formed between the absorbent article and the wearer along the widthwise center line in a worn state of the absorbent article, and the skin of the wearer is less likely to directly contact the body fluid absorbed by the absorbent article.
The absorbent article of the present invention will be described in detail below.
Fig. 1 is a front view of an absorbent article 1, specifically, a sanitary napkin, according to an embodiment (first embodiment) of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a rear view of the absorbent article 1 of the first embodiment. Fig. 3 is a diagram for explaining the absorber 105. Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view of section IV-IV of fig. 1. Fig. 5 is a view showing the relationship between the absorbent article 1 of the first embodiment and a garment 201 to be worn. Fig. 6 and 7 are views (plan views) for explaining the absorbent article 1 according to the first embodiment. Fig. 8 is a view for explaining a wearing method of the absorbent article 1 according to the first embodiment. Fig. 9 is a view for explaining a wearing state of the absorbent article 1 according to the first embodiment. Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional view of the absorbent article 1 of the first embodiment in a worn state, which corresponds to the section IV-IV in fig. 1. In fig. 1 to 3 and 5 to 7, the absorbent article 1 is oriented forward upward, and the absorbent article 1 is oriented rearward downward.
The absorbent article 1 of the first embodiment includes: a liquid-permeable sheet 101, a liquid-impermeable sheet 103, an absorbent body 105 including an absorbent core 106 and a core covering sheet 107 between the liquid-permeable sheet 101 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 103, and a fixing portion 17, a fixing portion 49, and a fixing portion 50 to be fixed to a garment to be worn. The absorbent article 1 has: a longitudinal direction L, a width direction W perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L, and a longitudinal center line LC and a width center line WC. The absorbent article 1 is divided along the longitudinal direction L into a front region FR, a central region CR, and a rear region BR, which trisect the length of the absorbent article 1 in the longitudinal direction L. The absorbent article 1 is divided into a first region FI, which is one region, and a second region SE, which is the other region, with the longitudinal center line LC as a boundary.
The absorbent article 1 includes: the absorbent article includes an absorbent main body 3 extending in a longitudinal direction L, and a pair of wing portions, i.e., a first wing portion 5 and a second wing portion 9, extending in a width direction W from one side edge 13 and the other side edge 14 of the absorbent main body 3 in the longitudinal direction L. The first wing 5 and the second wing 9 are disposed in the first region FI and the second region SE, respectively.
the first wing portions 5 and the second wing portions 9 respectively extend in the width direction W from one side edge 13 and the other side edge 14 of the absorbent main body 3 in the longitudinal direction L in each of the front region FR, the central region CR, and the rear region BR, the first wing portions 5 are disposed in the first region FI, and the second wing portions 9 are disposed in the second region SE.
the first wing 5 is divided into a first front wing 6 in the front region FR, a first central wing 7 in the central region CR, and a first rear wing 8 in the rear region BR. Each of the first front wing portion 6 and the first rear wing portion 8 includes a portion protruding outward in the width direction W of the absorbent article 1 from the first central wing portion 7.
Likewise, the second wing 9 is divided into a second front wing 10 in the front region FR, a second central wing 11 in the central region CR, and a second rear wing 12 in the rear region BR. Each of the second front wing portion 10 and the second rear wing portion 12 includes a portion protruding outward in the width direction W of the absorbent article 1 from the second central wing portion 11.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, the absorbent main body 3 includes, in order from the skin side toward the clothing side to be worn: a liquid-permeable sheet 101, an absorbent body 105 including an absorbent core 106 and a core covering sheet 107, a liquid-impermeable sheet 103, and a fixing portion 17 for fixing the absorbent body 3 to a garment to be worn. The fixing portion 17 is fixed to the garment-side surface 104 of the liquid-impermeable sheet 103.
As shown in fig. 3, the absorbent body 105 includes an absorbent core 106 and a core covering sheet 107, and the absorbent core 106 includes: a first absorbent core side edge 15 as one side edge in the longitudinal direction L, and a second absorbent core side edge 16 as the other side edge in the longitudinal direction L.
The first absorbent core side edge 15 is disposed in the first region FI so as to be close to one side edge (not shown) of the absorbent main body (not shown). The second absorbent core side edge 16 is disposed in the second region SE so as to be close to the other side edge (not shown) of the absorbent main body (not shown).
The absorber 105, the absorbent core 106, and the core covering sheet 107 are disposed in the front region FR, the central region CR, and the rear region BR in the longitudinal direction L.
In addition, in the absorbent core 106, the first absorbent core side edge 15 and the second absorbent core side edge 16 each have a concave portion 109 with the central region CR as the center, and the absorbent core 106 has an hourglass shape in the expanded state of the absorbent article 1.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, the first wing section 5 includes, in order from the skin side toward the clothing side to be worn: the first leakage preventing wall 21 including the elastic member 24, the liquid-permeable sheet 101, the elastic member 31 disposed close to the absorbent body 105, the first elastic member 33 disposed close to the outer edge 41 of the first wing 5, the side sheet 111, and the liquid-impermeable sheet 103.
The first elastic member 33 forms the first leg gather 43 together with the first flap portion 5, specifically, the sheet constituting the first leakage preventing wall 21, the side sheet 111, and the liquid impermeable sheet 103, which are structural members of the first flap portion 5.
Similarly, the second wing section 9 includes, in order from the skin side toward the clothing side to be worn: the second leakage preventing wall 27 of the elastic member 30, the liquid-permeable sheet 101, the elastic member 32 disposed close to the absorbent body 105, the second elastic member 35 disposed close to the outer edge 42 of the second wing 9, the side sheet 112, and the liquid-impermeable sheet 103 are provided.
The second elastic member 35 forms the second leg gather 44 together with the second wing portion 9, specifically, the sheet constituting the second leakage preventing wall 27, the side sheet 112, and the liquid impermeable sheet 103, which are structural members of the second wing portion 9.
As shown in fig. 5, in the absorbent article 1 used by being fixed to a garment 201 to be worn, the crotch width (the distance between the leg hole openings 203 and the leg hole openings 205) of the garment 201 to be worn and the length of the absorber 105 (the absorbent main body part 3) in the width direction W are substantially equal in the central region CR. This is because: the crotch width of the garment 201 to be worn and the above-mentioned length of the absorber 105 (absorbent main body portion 3) are generally designed to match the crotch width of the wearer (the distance between the insides of the thighs of the legs). The crotch width of the garment 201 to be worn is substantially the same regardless of the type of cut (カ ッ ト type) of the garment 201 to be worn, for example, whether it is a regular cut type (i.e., the line of the leg hole is along the periphery of the leg of the wearer), a low-leg (low leg) cut type (i.e., the line of the leg hole is shallower than the regular cut type), or a high-leg (high leg) cut type (i.e., the line of the leg hole is deeper than the regular cut type). The crotch width of the garment 201 to be worn is substantially the same even when the garment is different in size.
In the rear region BR, each of the leg hole openings 203 and 205 of the worn garment 201 is located farther rearward from the longitudinal center line LC. This is to cover the hips of the wearer. In the front region FR, each of the leg hole openings 203 and 205 of the worn garment 201 is located farther from the longitudinal center line LC toward the front, but is gentler than in the rear region BR. This is for: covers the abdomen of the wearer and, on the other hand, does not prevent the wearer from lifting his legs.
In the front region FR and the rear region BR, the lines of the leg hole openings 203 and the leg hole openings 205 of the clothing 201 to be worn differ according to the type of cut of the clothing 201 to be worn, and for example, in the low-leg cut type, each of the leg hole openings 203 and the leg hole openings 205 of the clothing 201 to be worn tends to be farther from the longitudinal center line LC than in the normal cut type in the front region FR and the rear region BR. In the high-leg cut type, each of the leg hole openings 203 and 205 of the worn garment 201 tends to be closer to the longitudinal center line LC than in the normal cut type in the front region FR and the rear region BR.
fig. 6 is a view (front view) for explaining the absorbent article 1 of the first embodiment, and the liquid-permeable sheet 101, the first leakage preventing walls 21, the second leakage preventing walls 27, the side sheets 111, and the side sheets 112 are omitted for convenience of explanation.
As shown in fig. 6, the first central wing portion 7 includes a length in the width direction W between the outer edge 41 of the first central wing portion 7 and the first absorbent core side edge 15: k is a radical of1Length in the width direction W between the first absorbent core side edge 15 and the longitudinal direction center line LC: k is a radical of1' long part. In addition, the second central wing portion 11 includes a length in the width direction W between the outer edge 42 of the second central wing portion 11 and the second absorbent core side edge 16: k is a radical of2Length in the width direction W between the second absorbent core side edge 16 and the longitudinal direction center line LC: k is a radical of2' long part. In this way, the first central wing section 7 and the second central wing section 11 are respectively disposed so as to extend outward beyond the leg hole openings 203 and 205 of the clothing (not shown) and extend downward along the inner thighs of the wearer in the worn state.
As shown in fig. 6, the first front wing portion 6 includes a length in the width direction W between the outer edge 41 of the first front wing portion 6 and the first absorbent core side edge 15: m is1Side edge of the first absorbent core15 and the longitudinal center line LC, and a length in the width direction W: m is1' long part. In addition, the second front flap portion 10 includes a length in the width direction W between the outer edge 42 of the second front flap portion 10 and the second absorbent core side edge 16: m is2Length in the width direction W between the second absorbent core side edge 16 and the longitudinal direction center line LC: m is2' long part. Thus, even if the clothing (not shown) to be worn is of the low-leg cut type, the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 are likely to protrude outward in the width direction W along the groin of the wearer than the leg hole opening sections 203 and 205 of the clothing (not shown) to be worn in the worn state.
As shown in fig. 6, the first rear wing portion 8 includes a length in the width direction W between the outer edge 41 of the first rear wing portion 8 and the first absorbent core side edge 15: n is1length in the width direction W between the first absorbent core side edge 15 and the longitudinal direction center line LC: n is1' long part. In addition, the second rear flap portion 12 includes a length in the width direction W between the outer edge 42 of the second rear flap portion 12 and the second absorbent core side edge 16: n is2Length in the width direction W between the second absorbent core side edge 16 and the longitudinal direction center line LC: n' long portion.
Thus, the first rear flap section 8 acts in the worn state to suppress the first leg gather 43 constituted by the first central flap section 7 from entering the longitudinal direction center line LC side of the leg hole opening 203 of the worn garment (not shown), and therefore, the absorbed body fluid is less likely to leak. Similarly, the second rear flap portion 12 acts to suppress the second leg gather 44 of the second central flap portion 11 from entering the longitudinal direction center line LC side of the leg hole opening 205 of the worn garment (not shown) in the worn state, and therefore, the absorbed body fluid is less likely to leak.
As shown in fig. 6, the first elastic member 33 has a front end 33a and a rear end 33b, and the front end 33a is located closer to the width direction center line WC than the rear end 33 b. The second elastic member 35 has a front end 35a and a rear end 35b, and the front end 35a is located closer to the width direction center line WC than the rear end 35 b. That is, the first elastic member 33 and the second elastic member 35 are disposed near the rear of the absorbent article 1.
Thus, when worn, the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 are not easily pulled by the first elastic member 33 and the second elastic member 35, respectively, and are not easily pushed into the inner side of the absorbent article 1 in the width direction W, and are not easily pushed toward the longitudinal center line LC side of the leg hole opening 203 and the leg hole opening 205 of a garment (not shown). As a result, the wearer can easily adjust the position of the absorbent article 1 by gripping the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10. At this time, each of the first central flap portion 7 (first leg gather 43) and the second central flap portion 11 (second leg gather 44) easily extends downward while being in close contact with the inner side of the wearer's thighs beyond the groin portion.
In addition, similarly in the worn state, the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 are not easily pulled by the first elastic member 33 and the second elastic member 35, respectively, and are not easily pushed into the inside in the width direction W of the absorbent article 1, and are not easily pushed toward the longitudinal center line LC side of the leg hole opening 203 and the leg hole opening 205 of the clothing (not shown). As a result, each of the first central flap portion 7 (first leg gather 43) and the second central flap portion 11 (second leg gather 44) easily extends downward while being in close contact with the inner side of the wearer's thighs beyond the groin portion, and the absorbed body fluid is less likely to leak.
fig. 7 is a view (front view) for explaining the absorbent article 1 of the first embodiment, and like fig. 6, the liquid-permeable sheet 101, the first leakage preventing walls 21, the second leakage preventing walls 27, the side sheets 111, and the side sheets 112 are omitted for convenience of explanation.
As shown in fig. 7, in the unfolded state of the absorbent article 1, the first elastic member 33 is disposed so as to be positioned in the longitudinal direction L at a first intersection 51 intersecting the width direction center line WC and the first absorbent core side edge 15 and at the outermost part in the width direction W of the outer edge 41 of the first front flap 6 in the thickness direction (not shown) of the absorbent article 1First front virtual line segment VL connecting the central first front point 53 of1There is no overlap. In the unfolded state of the absorbent article 1, the second elastic member 35 is disposed so as to connect, in the thickness direction (not shown) of the absorbent article 1, a second front imaginary line segment VL connecting a second intersection 52 at which the width direction center line WC and the second absorbent core side edge 16 intersect with a second front point 54 located at the center in the longitudinal direction L in the outermost part in the width direction W of the outer edge 42 of the second front wing section 102There is no overlap.
In the case where the worn garment is a garment having a shallow line of leg hole openings, for example, a low-leg cut type garment, the leg hole openings 203 and 205 of the worn garment tend to pass through the first front virtual line segment VL1And a second front virtual line segment VL2The line of (2). Even in such a case, in the worn state, the leg hole opening 203 of the garment is reliably separated from the first elastic member 33, the first central flap portion 7 (first leg gather 43) is not easily pulled into the inside of the garment, the position of the absorbent article 1 is not easily displaced, and the first leg gather 43 easily exhibits its function.
Similarly, in the worn state, the leg hole opening 205 of the garment is reliably separated from the second elastic member 35 in the central region CR, the second central flap portion 11 (second leg gather 44) is not easily pulled into the garment, the position of the absorbent article 1 is not easily displaced, and the second leg gather 44 easily exhibits its function.
As shown in fig. 7, the absorbent article 1 has a first imaginary front line segment VL in its developed state1The first front virtual line segment VL1A first intersection point 51 at which the widthwise center line WC of the absorbent article 1 and the first absorbent core side edge 15 intersect is a line segment connecting a first front point 53 located at the center in the longitudinal direction L in the outermost part in the widthwise direction W of the outer edge 41 of the first front wing section 6. Similarly, the absorbent article 1 has a second front virtual line segment VL in its expanded state2The second front virtual line segment VL2Is to arrange the absorbent article 1A line segment connecting a second intersection 52 at which the width direction center line WC and the second absorbent core side edge 16 intersect with a second front point 54 located at the center in the longitudinal direction L in the outermost part in the width direction W of the outer edge 42 of the second front wing portion 10.
In the unfolded state of the absorbent article 1, the first front virtual line segment VL1Does not overlap the outer edge 41 of the first wing section 5 except for the first front point 53 in the thickness direction (not shown) of the absorbent article 1, and the second front virtual line segment VL2Does not overlap the outer edge 42 of the second wing portion 9 in the thickness direction (not shown) of the absorbent article 1 except for the second front point 54.
Thus, when the wearer temporarily fixes the absorbent article 1 to the clothing (not shown) in the unworn state and puts the clothing on the body, the wearer can grasp the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 and correct the position of the absorbent article 1 (preferably, the position of the portion of the absorbent article 1 from the widthwise center line WC to the front) in accordance with the size of the clothing (not shown) in the worn state in which the clothing (not shown) in the unworn state is stretched. Specifically, when the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 are gripped and pulled forward in the longitudinal direction L and outward in the width direction W, the force applied to the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 can be directly applied to the vicinity of the width direction center line WC of the absorbent core 106, and the position of the absorbent article 1 (preferably, the position of the portion of the absorbent article 1 from the width direction center line WC to the front) can be corrected in accordance with the worn garment (not shown). As a result, the wearer does not feel uncomfortable in the worn state of the absorbent article 1.
As shown in FIG. 7, the absorbent article 1 has a first rear imaginary line segment VL3said first rear imaginary line segment VL3Is a line segment connecting the first intersection point 51 and a first rear point 55 located at the center in the longitudinal direction L in the outermost part in the width direction W of the outer edge 41 of the first rear wing portion 8. Similarly, the absorbent article 1 has a second rear imaginary line segment VL4What is, what isThe second rear virtual line segment VL4is a line segment connecting the second intersection point 52 and a second rear point 56 located at the center in the longitudinal direction L in the outermost portion in the width direction W of the outer edge 42 of the second rear wing portion 12.
The first rear virtual line segment VL in the unfolded state of the absorbent article 13Does not overlap the outer edge 41 of the first wing section 5 except for the first rear point 55 in the thickness direction (not shown) of the absorbent article 1, and the second rear virtual line segment VL4Does not overlap with the outer edge 42 of the second wing portion 9 in the thickness direction (not shown) of the absorbent article 1 except for the second rear point 56.
Thus, when the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 are gripped and pulled forward in the longitudinal direction L and outward in the width direction W, a force applied to the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 acts on the vicinity of the width direction center line WC of the absorbent core 106, and then the force acts on the first rear point 55 and the second rear point 56 from the vicinity of the width direction center line WC, so that the position of the absorbent article 1 (preferably, the position of the portion of the absorbent article 1 from the width direction center line to the rear of the absorbent article 1) can be corrected in accordance with the worn garment (not shown). As a result, the wearer does not feel uncomfortable in the worn state of the absorbent article 1.
When the first rear flap portion 8 and the second rear flap portion 12 are temporarily fixed to a garment (not shown) to be worn when the absorbent article 1 is worn by a wearer, the first rear flap portion 8 and the second rear flap portion 12 are subjected to a force such that the first rear flap portion 8 and the second rear flap portion 12 expand outward in the width direction W due to the waist-circumferential direction of the garment to be worn extending when the wearer wears the garment (not shown). Since the force can be directly applied to the vicinity of the widthwise center line WC of the absorbent article 1, the portion of the absorbent article 1 from the widthwise center line WC to the rear can be arranged at an appropriate position without being folded. As a result, the wearer does not feel uncomfortable in the worn state.
as shown in fig. 2, the absorbent main body 3 includes a fixing portion 17 at a position forward of an imaginary line VL passing through the first front point 53 and the second front point 54 so as to be fixed to the clothing. Thus, when the absorbent article 1 is worn, the wearer can easily adjust the position of the absorbent article 1 by gripping the first front flap 6 and the second front flap 10, and the front region FR of the absorbent article 1 continues to be in close contact with the groin of the wearer in the worn state, and the absorbent article 1 is less likely to wrinkle.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, the first leakage preventing wall 21 includes: the fixed end 22 of the liquid-permeable sheet 101 fixed to the first wing section 5, specifically, the first wing section 5, and the free end 23 on the opposite side of the fixed end 22. The fixed end 22 and the free end 23 of the first leakage preventing wall 21 extend in the longitudinal direction L. Similarly, as shown in fig. 1 and 4, the second leakage preventing wall 27 includes: a fixed end 28 fixed to the second wing 9, specifically, a fixed end 29 of the liquid-permeable sheet 101 constituting the second wing 9, and a free end 29 on the opposite side of the fixed end 28. The fixed end 28 and the free end 29 of the second leakage preventing wall 27 extend in the longitudinal direction L.
Thus, in the worn state, as the first wing portion 5 and the second wing portion 9 extend downward along the inner thighs of the wearer, the first leakage preventing wall 21 and the second leakage preventing wall 27 stand up toward the skin of the wearer, and the free end 23 of the first leakage preventing wall 21 and the free end 29 of the second leakage preventing wall 27 easily spread outward in the width direction W, so that leakage of body fluid is easily suppressed.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, the first leakage preventing wall 21 includes an elastic member 24 from the central region CR to the rear region BR near the free end 23, and the second leakage preventing wall 27 includes an elastic member 30 from the central region CR to the rear region BR near the free end 29.
As shown in fig. 1, both ends in the longitudinal direction L of the free end 23 of the first leakage preventing wall 21 are fixed to the liquid-permeable sheet 101 constituting the absorbent body 3 by fixing portions 113. Similarly, both ends in the longitudinal direction L of the free end 29 of the second leakage preventing wall 27 are fixed to the liquid-permeable sheet 101 constituting the absorbent main body 3 by the fixing portions 114. Thus, in the worn state of the absorbent article 1, the first leakage preventing walls 21 and the second leakage preventing walls 27 tend to rise toward the skin of the wearer as the first wing portions 5 and the second wing portions 9 extend downward along the inner thighs of the wearer, respectively.
As shown in fig. 2, the first central flap portion 7 (first leg gather 43) does not have a fixing portion for fixing to a garment to be worn on the garment-side surface thereof, specifically, on the garment-side surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 103 constituting the first central flap portion 7. Similarly, the second central flap portion 11 (second leg gather 44) does not have a fixing portion for fixing to a garment to be worn on the garment-side surface thereof, specifically, on the garment-side surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 103 constituting the second central flap portion 11. Thus, each of the first central flap portion 7 (first leg gather 43) and the second central flap portion 11 (second leg gather 44) is easily arranged to extend downward along the inner thigh of the wearer in the worn state, and easily functions.
As shown in fig. 2, the first front flap portion 6 does not have a fixing portion for fixing to a garment to be worn on the garment-side surface thereof, specifically, the garment-side surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 103 constituting the first front flap portion 6. Similarly, the second front flap portion 10 does not have a fixing portion for fixing to a garment to be worn on the garment-side surface thereof, specifically, the garment-side surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 103 constituting the second front flap portion 10. Thus, each of the first front wing section 6 and the second front wing section 10 easily extends along the groin of the wearer to the outside of the clothing in the worn state, and functions thereof are easily exhibited.
As shown in fig. 2, the first rear flap portion 8 includes a portion extending outward in the width direction W from the first central flap portion 7, and the first rear flap portion 8 has a fixing portion 49 for fixing to a garment to be worn on a garment-side surface thereof, specifically, a garment-side surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 103 constituting the first rear flap portion 8. In the first rear wing part 8, the fixing part 49 is disposed not only in the region on the inner side in the width direction W than the first central wing part 7 but also in the region on the outer side in the width direction W than the first central wing part 7.
Similarly, the second rear wing portion 12 includes a portion extending outward in the width direction W from the second central wing portion 11, and has a fixing portion 50 for fixing to clothing to be worn on the clothing-side surface thereof, specifically, on the clothing-side surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 103 constituting the second rear wing portion 12. In the second rear wing portion 12, the fixing portion 50 is disposed not only in a region on the inner side in the width direction W than the second center wing portion 11 but also in a region on the outer side in the width direction W than the second center wing portion 11.
Thus, the first rear flap portion 8 functions to fix the first center flap portion 7 to the outside in the width direction W both when worn and in a worn state, and the first center flap portion 7 easily functions as the first leg gather 43. In addition, the second rear flap portion 12 functions to fix the second center flap portion 11 to the outside in the width direction W both when worn and in the worn state, and the second center flap portion 11 easily functions as the second leg gather 44.
A method of wearing the absorbent article 1 and a wearing state of the absorbent article according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 8 and 9 as needed.
(i) The wearer puts the absorbent article 1 on the inner surface of the garment 201, specifically, pants, and temporarily fixes the fixing portion 17, the fixing portion 49, and the fixing portion 50 shown in fig. 2 to the garment 201.
(ii) The wearer puts on the garment 201 with the absorbent article 1 in the middle. At this time, the fixing portion 49 of the first rear flap portion 8 and the fixing portion 50 of the second rear flap portion 12 are fixed to the garment 201.
(iii) As shown in fig. 8, the wearer grasps the first front wing part 6 with the thumb and the index finger of the right hand and the second front wing part 10 with the thumb and the index finger of the left hand. When the first front wing portion 6 and the second front wing portion 10 enter the inside of the worn garment 201, the wearer extends the fingers between the worn garment 201 and the groin portion, and pulls out the first front wing portion 6 and the second front wing portion 10 to the outside of the worn garment.
(iv) The right hand and the left hand are moved forward in the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent article 1 to correct the positions of the portions of the first front flap portion 6 and the second front flap portion 10 forward of the center line (not shown) in the width direction, and the right hand and the left hand are moved outward in the width direction W of the absorbent article 1 to remove wrinkles, creases, and the like in the width direction W of the absorbent article 1.
(v) Thus, as shown in fig. 9, a part of the first front wing section 6 extends to the outside of the leg hole opening 203 of the garment 201 to be worn, and a part of the second front wing section 10 extends to the outside of the leg hole opening 205 of the garment 201 to be worn.
(vi) As shown in fig. 9, a part of the first central flap portion 7 constitutes the first leg gather 43, and extends outward of the leg hole opening portion 203 of the worn garment 201 and downward along the inner side of the wearer's thighs. Similarly, a part of the second front flap portion 10 extends outward of the leg hole opening portion 205 of the garment 201 to be worn, and a part of the second center flap portion 11 forms the second leg gather 44, and extends outward of the leg hole opening portion 205 of the garment 201 to be worn and extends downward along the inner side of the wearer's thighs.
(vii) The fastening portion 17, the fastening portion 49, and the fastening portion 50 shown in fig. 2 are permanently fastened to the clothing 201 by wearing pants or the like on the clothing 201.
As shown in fig. 10, in the worn state of the absorbent article 1, each of the first leg gather 43 and the second leg gather 44 extends outward of the garment 201 and downward along the inner thigh of the wearer. The first leg gathers 43 extend downward along the inner thighs of the wearer, and the first leakage preventing walls 21 stand up toward the skin of the wearer, so that body fluid is less likely to leak. Similarly, the second leg gather 44 extends downward along the inner thigh of the wearer, and the second leakage preventing wall 27 rises toward the skin of the wearer, so that the body fluid is less likely to leak.
In the first embodiment, the absorbent article 1 has each of the first wing portions 5 and the second wing portions 9 in the front region FR, the central region CR, and the rear region BR, but the absorbent article of the present invention may have a pair of wing portions in a part of the central region, and preferably has a pair of wing portions in the entire central region. This is from the viewpoint of the effect of the present invention. The absorbent article of the present invention may further include a pair of wing portions (i.e., a pair of front wing portions) in the front region, and may further include a pair of wing portions (i.e., a pair of rear wing portions) in the rear region. The absorbent article of the present invention may have, for example, a pair of wing portions (i.e., a pair of front wing portions) in the front region and a pair of wing portions (i.e., a pair of central wing portions) in the central region, and a pair of wing portions (i.e., a pair of rear wing portions) in the rear region.
In each of the first region and the second region of the absorbent article of the present invention, the central wing portion includes a portion between the outer edge of the central wing portion and the side edge of the absorbent core, the length of the absorbent article in the width direction being longer than the length of the absorbent article between the side edge of the absorbent core and the longitudinal center line in the width direction, and preferably includes a portion that is 1.2 times or more long, more preferably 1.4 times or more long, and still more preferably 1.6 times or more long. Thus, the length of the pair of leg gathers formed by the pair of central wing portions extending outward of the garment to be worn becomes long, and body fluid is less likely to leak. The above-described length relationship is preferably satisfied on the same straight line extending in the width direction of the absorbent article.
in addition, each of the pair of central wing portions preferably has no fixing portion for fixing to a garment to be worn. This is for: in a worn state of the absorbent article, the pair of central wing portions form a pair of leg gathers and extend downward along the inner thighs of the wearer.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes the front wing portions (the pair of front wing portions) in each of the first region and the second region, the front wing portions in each of the first region and the second region include portions between the outer edges of the front wing portions and the side edges of the absorbent core, and the length of the absorbent article in the width direction is longer than the length of the absorbent article in the width direction between the side edges of the absorbent core and the longitudinal center line, and preferably include portions that are 1.1 times or longer, more preferably 1.2 times or longer, and still more preferably 1.3 times or longer. This makes it easy for the wearer to hold the front wing section and to adjust the position of the absorbent article. The above-described length relationship is preferably satisfied on the same straight line extending in the width direction of the absorbent article.
In the above case, each of the pair of front wing portions preferably does not have a fixing portion for fixing to a garment to be worn. This is because: when the absorbent article is worn, the wearer grips the pair of front wing portions, and the pair of front wing portions may protrude outward from the clothing in a worn state. Each of the pair of front wing portions preferably has a portion that protrudes outward in the width direction of the absorbent article relative to the pair of central wing portions. This is because: when the absorbent article is worn, the pair of central wing sections are easily adjusted to predetermined positions on the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent article.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes the rear wing portions (the pair of rear wing portions) in each of the first region and the second region, the rear wing portions include portions between the outer edges of the rear wing portions and the side edges of the absorbent core in each of the first region and the second region, the length of the absorbent article in the width direction being longer than the length of the absorbent article in the width direction between the side edges of the absorbent core and the longitudinal center line, and preferably include portions that are 1.1 times or longer, more preferably 1.2 times or longer, and still more preferably 1.3 times or longer. Thus, the pair of rear wing portions easily act to suppress the pair of leg gathers from entering the inside of the worn garment. The above-described length relationship is preferably satisfied on the same straight line extending in the width direction of the absorbent article.
In the above case, each of the pair of rear wing portions preferably has a fixing portion for fixing to a garment to be worn. This is from the viewpoint of suppressing the pair of leg gathers from entering the inside of the worn garment. Each of the pair of rear wing portions preferably has a portion that protrudes outward in the width direction of the absorbent article relative to the pair of central wing portions. This is because the pair of leg gathers do not easily enter the inside of the worn garment. In this case, each of the pair of rear wing portions preferably has the fixing portion at a portion projecting outward in the width direction of the absorbent article than the pair of central wing portions. This is because the pair of leg gathers are less likely to enter the inside of the worn garment.
In the absorbent article 1 according to the first embodiment, the first wing portion 5 and the second wing portion 9 are provided with the first elastic member 33 and the second elastic member 35 from the central region CR to the rear region BR, respectively, but in the absorbent article according to the present invention, the pair of wing portions may be provided with the elastic members in at least a part of the central region. This is because: each of the pair of wing portions forms a leg gather (a pair of leg gathers) together with the elastic member in at least a part of the central region, so that body fluid is less likely to leak.
Preferably, the elastic members (a pair of elastic members) constituting each of the pair of leg gathers have a front end portion and a rear end portion in the longitudinal direction, and the front end portion is closer to the widthwise center line than the rear end portion. This is because: when the absorbent article is worn, the pair of front wing portions are less likely to enter the inner side in the width direction (the longitudinal center line side) of the absorbent article due to the influence of the elastic member, and the wearer can easily grip the pair of front wing portions to adjust the position of the absorbent article.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes a pair of flap portions in the rear region (in the case where a pair of rear flap portions is provided), the pair of elastic members constituting the pair of leg gathers may extend to the rear region, that is, to the pair of rear flap portions. This is because the pair of rear flap portions are less likely to be affected by the elastic member constituting the leg gathers.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes the pair of wing sections in the front region (in the case where the pair of front wing sections are provided), it is preferable that the elastic member constituting the leg gathers does not extend to the front region, that is, to the pair of front wing sections. This is because: the pair of front flap portions are easily affected by the elastic members constituting the leg gathers, and the pair of front flap portions easily enter the inside of the garment to be worn.
The absorbent article 1 of the first embodiment has the first leakage preventing walls 21 and the second leakage preventing walls 27 in the first region FI and the second region SE, but the absorbent article of the present invention may not have the leakage preventing walls in each of the first region and the second region. This is because: the absorbent article of the present invention has a pair of leg gathers in a worn state, and thus the effect of the present invention is achieved.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the pair of leakage preventing walls may be fixed to the pair of wing portions. This is because: in a worn state of the absorbent article, the pair of leakage preventing walls easily rise toward the skin of the wearer as the pair of central wing portions (the pair of leg gathers) extend downward along the inner sides of the thighs of the wearer.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes a pair of leakage preventing walls, the free ends of the pair of leakage preventing walls are preferably present in the absorbent main body. This is because: as the pair of central wing portions (the pair of leg gathers) extend downward along the inner side of the thighs of the wearer, the pair of leakage preventing walls easily rise toward the skin of the wearer and inward.
in the absorbent article of the present invention, it is preferable that, in each of the first region and the second region, the elastic member constituting the leg gather is arranged so as not to overlap, in the thickness direction of the absorbent article, an imaginary line segment connecting an intersection point at which a widthwise central line and the side edge of the absorbent core intersect with a front point located at the center in the longitudinal direction in the widthwise outermost portion of the outer edge of the front wing portion. This is because: in the worn state, the pair of leg gathers are less likely to be pulled by the garment and pulled into the garment, and the position of the absorbent article is less likely to shift, and the pair of leg gathers easily exhibit their functions.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes a pair of wing sections in the front region (in the case where a pair of front wing sections are provided), as in the first embodiment, the absorbent main body section preferably includes a fixing section for fixing to clothing to be worn at a position forward of an imaginary line passing through a first front point located at the center in the longitudinal direction of the outermost part in the width direction of the outer edge of the first front wing section and a second front point located at the center in the longitudinal direction of the outermost part in the width direction of the outer edge of the second front wing section. This is because: the wearer can easily adjust the position of the absorbent article by gripping the pair of front wing sections when wearing the absorbent article, and the front region of the absorbent article is kept in close contact with the groin section of the wearer in the worn state, and the absorbent article is less likely to wrinkle.
In the absorbent article according to the embodiment of the present invention, the absorbent main body includes the fixing portion at a position forward of the imaginary line.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes a pair of wing portions in the front region (in the case where a pair of front wing portions are provided), it is preferable that, in each of the first region and the second region, a front imaginary line segment connecting an intersection point where a width-direction center line of the absorbent article and a side edge of the absorbent core intersect with a front point located at the center in the longitudinal direction in the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the front wing portion does not overlap with the outer edge of the wing portion in the thickness direction of the absorbent article except for the front point. This is because: thus, the wearer does not feel uncomfortable in the worn state of the absorbent article as described above.
In the case where the absorbent article of the present invention includes a pair of wing portions in the rear region (in the case where a pair of rear wing portions are provided), it is preferable that, in each of the first region and the second region, the rear wing portions have fixing portions for fixing to clothing to be worn, and a rear imaginary line segment connecting an intersection point where a center line in the width direction of the absorbent article intersects with a side edge of the absorbent core and a rear point located at the center in the length direction in the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the rear wing portion does not overlap with the outer edge of the wing portion in the thickness direction of the absorbent article except for a rear point. This is because: as described above, the wearer does not easily feel discomfort in the worn state of the absorbent article.
In the case where the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the front wing portion does not have a certain length, that is, in the case where the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the front wing portion is a point, the above-mentioned front point (first front point, second front point) refers to the point, and in the case where the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the front wing portion has a certain length, the above-mentioned front point (first front point, second front point) refers to a point located at the center in the length direction thereof. Similarly, when the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the rear wing portion does not have a certain length, that is, when the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the rear wing portion is a point, the rear point (first rear point, second rear point) mentioned above refers to the point, and when the outermost portion in the width direction of the outer edge of the rear wing portion has a certain length, the rear point (first rear point, second rear point) mentioned above refers to a point located at the center in the length direction thereof.
The absorbent article of the present invention may be individually packaged by being folded, for example, in half, in three, in four, or the like, and sold in the market as an individually packaged absorbent article. The absorbent article of the present invention is folded in two along the widthwise centerline, so that a gap is easily formed between the absorbent article and the wearer along the widthwise centerline in the worn state, and the skin of the wearer is less likely to directly contact the body fluid absorbed by the absorbent article.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the first elastic member and the second elastic member are not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a linear elastic member such as elastic thread, flat rubber, and a planar linear member such as a stretchable sheet (e.g., a stretchable nonwoven fabric). By forming the first elastic member and the second elastic member as planar linear members, the first leg gather and the second leg gather can be brought into close contact with the inner thighs of the wearer in a planar manner, respectively, and the first leg gather and the second leg gather have excellent skin contact feeling.
the absorbent article of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is used by being fixed to clothing, and examples thereof include absorbent articles for women, such as sanitary napkins, pantiliners, and urine pads. The absorbent article of the present invention is preferably line-symmetric with respect to the longitudinal center line.
