Description

技术领域
本发明总体上涉及用于对视频进行流送的系统和方法。更具体地,本发明涉及用于使用JPEG 2000进行自适应流送的系统和方法。
背景技术
已知视频监控流送系统包括多个视频源、服务器和客户端,使得在跨网络的多个节点之间传送视频数据流。例如,可以通过包括LAN、WAN和因特网的网络信道以有线方式或无线地传送视频。
当网络带宽是低的、波动或者以其他方式不可靠时,通过互联网传送视频提出了挑战。为了解决这些挑战,一些已知系统将视频代码转换成多比特率数据流,且托管这种多比特率数据流,以服务于具有不同带宽的客户端。然而,这些类型的系统要求云网络上的大的流送服务器和相当大的基础设施。当相同视频数据流被传送到大量客户端时,这种系统可能运转良好。然而,由于与代码转换相关联且与在不同信道上托管和发布多个比特率相关联的高成本,当相同视频数据流被传送到仅少量客户端时,这种系统运转不好。

Claims (10)

从视频源接收视频数据流;

3.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括:将图像质量和分辨率添加到所述多个图像层中的接续图像层。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括:
当在与所述客户端设备的通信信道中可用的带宽处于第一级别时,将所述多个图像层中的较多图像层传送到所述客户端设备;以及
当在与所述客户端设备的通信信道中可用的带宽处于第二级别时,将所述多个图像层中的较少图像层传送到所述客户端设备,
其中所述第一级别高于所述第二级别。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括:使被传送到所述客户端设备的多个图像层的数目随着在与所述客户端设备的通信信道中可用的带宽波动而变化。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括:从所述客户端设备接收针对所述视频数据流的请求,其中要传送到所述客户端设备的多个图像层的数目基于当所述请求被传送或接收到时可用的带宽。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括:从所述客户端设备接收针对所述视频数据流的请求,其中要传送到所述客户端设备的多个图像层的数目基于当所述多个图像层中的所述至少一个被传送时可用的带宽。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括:
经由与所述客户端设备的通信信道来从所述客户端设备接收针对所述视频数据流的请求;以及
响应于所述请求,经由与所述客户端设备的通信信道将所述多个图像层中的所述至少一个传送到所述客户端设备。
9.一种方法,包括:
传送针对存储在服务器设备上的视频数据流的请求;以及
基于在与所述服务器设备的通信信道中可用的带宽来从所述服务器设备接收与所述视频数据流相对应的多个图像层中的至少一个。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述多个图像层中的接续图像层添加图像质量和分辨率。
