Description

Method for downloading starting program from chip, chip and liquid crystal television
Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of chip downloading, in particular to a method for downloading a starting program from a chip, the chip and a liquid crystal television.
Background
The TCON board is a liquid crystal panel driving board widely used in liquid crystal televisions, and mainly functions to convert image data signals (including RGB data signals, clock signals, and control signals) sent from a liquid crystal television main board into data signals capable of driving a liquid crystal screen, and then directly send the data signals to the SCOF IC of the liquid crystal screen. The TCON board is provided with a chip with an image processing function, when the liquid crystal television is started and powered on, the chip on the TCON board needs to download a starting program from a ROM in an internal processor of the liquid crystal television, and normal starting of the chip is completed according to the downloaded starting program.
Since the chip and the ROM on the TCON board are located in different areas, communication between the chip and the ROM needs to be established to realize normal downloading of the chip start-up program. As shown in fig. 1, the TCON IC chip and the ROM are both disposed on the PCB, an SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) module is disposed in the TCON IC chip, the SPI is connected to the ROM, and the PCB is provided with an electronic circuit that provides a hardware channel for the internal chip to download the start program from the ROM. After the system is powered on, the chip sends a starting program downloading request to the ROM through the SPI module, and after the ROM receives the downloading request, the corresponding starting program is sent to the chip through an electronic circuit arranged on the PCB board, so that the downloading of the starting program is completed.
However, the electronic circuit of the PCB may have design defects or poor wiring design, which may cause an abnormal process of the chip download start program to result in a download failure. For example, the ideal line width of the electronic circuit of the PCB board is 1-3mm, the line impedance is 40m omega, and the normal downloading of the starting program can be completed under the parameters. Because the design of the line width of the electronic circuit designed actually is only 0.5mm, the line impedance is further increased to 100m omega, and the SPI power supply of the chip is insufficient, when the SPI module end is insufficient, the delay of a logic circuit in the chip is increased, the requirement of the chip download starting program retention time cannot be met, the download of the chip starting program fails, and the system startup cannot be started normally.
Disclosure of Invention
The application provides a method for downloading a starting program from a chip, the chip and a liquid crystal television, and aims to solve the problem that the system cannot be started normally due to the fact that the chip downloading starting program fails in the traditional technology.
In order to solve the technical problem, the embodiment of the application discloses the following technical scheme:
in a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for downloading a start program from a chip, including: determining a downloading identification in a chip starting program to be downloaded, wherein the downloading identification is arranged in the last byte of the chip starting program; downloading the chip starting program; and controlling the downloading of the chip starting program according to the detection result of the downloading identification. The downloading identification is arranged at the last byte of the chip starting program, and if the chip starting program fails to download, the information of the last byte cannot be detected. If the download identification is not detected, the chip starting program is downloaded again, so that the problem of download failure of the chip starting program is prevented.
In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a chip, including: a processor; the memory is used for storing a chip starting program downloaded by the chip; the processor executes the method for downloading the starting program by the chip. The processor in the chip does not detect the downloading identification in the last byte of the chip starting program in the chip downloading starting program, and then the downloading of the chip downloading starting program is indicated to fail, so that the chip starting program is controlled to be downloaded again, the problem of the downloading failure of the chip starting program is prevented, and the chip can be started normally.
In a third aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a liquid crystal television, including: a device television peripheral; the TCON board is arranged on the television main board in a built-in mode; the chip is arranged on the TCON board; after the liquid crystal television is started, the processor of the chip is powered on, communication is established with the ROM through the SPI of the chip, a method for downloading a starting program by the chip is executed, and downloading of the starting program by the chip is controlled. After the television is powered on, the TCON board on the television main board starts to work, the chip on the TCON board downloads the chip starting program so that the television can normally work, and after the chip is powered on, the chip starting program is controlled to be downloaded according to the download identification in the chip starting program, so that the successful download of the chip starting program is ensured, and the liquid crystal television can normally run when being powered on.

Detailed Description
The present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 2, a schematic flow chart of a method for downloading a boot program for a chip provided by the present application is shown, and as shown in fig. 2, an embodiment of the method for downloading a boot program for a chip provided by the present application includes:
s101, determining a downloading identifier in a chip starting program to be downloaded.
After the system is powered on, the chip can be started only by a corresponding chip starting program, and enters a normal working state, so that the normal function of the chip is realized. Because the internal storage space of the chip is limited, the chip start program is generally stored in the ROM before the chip is not started, as shown in fig. 3, the chip start program is a program code including a plurality of field information, including a field header, a function field, and a field trailer of the program, and the chip start program in the present application has identification information set as a download identification in the last byte of the field trailer.
Before downloading the chip start program, the chip first sends an information request for acquiring the chip start program to be downloaded to the ROM, for example, requests to acquire field length information of the chip start program and a download identifier of the last byte of the field tail. After receiving the request information sent by the chip, the ROM acquires a corresponding chip starting program according to the type of the chip, and then sends length information corresponding to the chip starting program and the carried download identification information to the chip. After receiving the feedback information sent back by the ROM, the chip starts to request to download the chip starting program.
S102, downloading a chip starting program.
After the chip starts to request for downloading the starting program, the ROM receives the program downloading request sent by the chip, and then the chip starting program corresponding to the downloading request is sent to the chip. Because the chip starting program is a functional program, needs downloading time and cannot realize instant downloading, the chip can detect the downloading identification according to a preset detection time interval in the whole downloading process.
S103, controlling the chip to start the downloading of the program according to the detection result of the downloading identification.
In S102, the chip detects the download identifier according to a preset time interval, and determines whether the chip start-up program has been successfully downloaded according to the detection result. If the downloading identification in the chip starting program is detected in the downloading process, the chip starting program is completely downloaded. Because the chip can not be started for a long time, if the chip is not started after a long time delay, the corresponding device can not be started normally, and the user experience is influenced for the user plane.
Therefore, in this embodiment, a preset time period is set, if the download identifier is not detected within the preset time period, at this time, the chip start program may still be in the download, and because the download time already exceeds the normal download time, the current download will be terminated, the download request will be resent to the ROM, and the start program will be re-downloaded.
For example, if the maximum startup time of the chip in the history is 500ms, the preset time period is set to 500 ms. If the download identifier in the chip start program is not detected or the detected identifier information is different from the download identifier in 500ms, the chip start program may have a download error including a download failure or a download delay, and at this time, the current operation needs to be terminated and a re-download request needs to be sent to the ROM again.
In an exemplary embodiment, the chip start program is provided with a flag bit, and the flag bit changes after the chip download start program finishes downloading, and the changed flag bit is set as the target identifier. If the mark position is detected in the preset time period, namely the downloading identification is different from the target identification, the chip starting program downloading failure can be directly judged, and at the moment, the downloading request needs to be sent to the ROM again to download the starting program again.
For example, the flag bit at the moment when the chip start program is not downloaded is 0, and the flag bit becomes 1 after the downloading is successful. The mark bit information detected in the starting program of the download chip is defined as a download identifier, and the mark bit information after the download is successful is defined as a target identifier. If the detected flag bit is always 0 within a preset time period, which is assumed to be 500ms, the chip start program fails to download.
In an exemplary embodiment, the download identifier may also be detected after a preset time period, where the historical longest start time of the chip in the above example is 500ms, the preset time period is set to 500ms, the download identifier is detected after 500ms, and if the download identifier is not detected or the detected download identifier is different from the target identifier, it may be determined that the download of the chip start program fails, and the download request is sent to the ROM again to download the start program again. In the above embodiments, two possible situations exist for determining that the chip boot program fails to be downloaded, which can be specifically referred to the description of the foregoing embodiments and are not described herein again.
It can be known from the foregoing embodiment that, in the method for downloading a chip startup program provided in this embodiment, a download identifier in the chip startup program is detected, where the download identifier is set in the last byte of the chip startup program, and if the chip startup program fails to download, information of the last byte is not detected. If the download identification is not detected or the detected download identification is different from the target identification, the chip startup program is downloaded again, so that the problem of failure in downloading the chip startup program is prevented.
Further, corresponding to the embodiment, the download identifier is detected within the preset time period, in the embodiment of the present application, a change state of a register value inside the chip is detected at the same time, because the download identifier in the chip start program is detected according to the preset time interval, if the nth detection is not completed and the (N + 1) th detection is not reached, the chip start program is already downloaded, but the download identifier indicating that the chip start program is completely downloaded is not detected, so that if the chip start program is simply detected according to the download identifier, it cannot be completely determined whether the chip start program is completely downloaded.
At this time, although the download identifier is not detected, since the chip start program has been downloaded, the chip enters a start state, the register value inside the chip changes according to the operating state of the chip, and the register value of the chip changes. Therefore, while the S1O1 chip sends an information request to the ROM, the register value of the chip itself is obtained, because the register value can directly indicate whether the chip is normally started. For example, the register value is 0 before the chip is not started, and the register value becomes 1 when the chip is normally started after the chip start program is downloaded. The above description is only exemplary, and other changes of the status indicators are also possible, and are not limited in detail herein.
If the download identifier is not detected or the detected download identifier is different from the target identifier within the preset time period, and the value of the register is not changed, the chip start program may still be in the process of downloading, and also because the downloading time exceeds the normal downloading time, the current downloading may be terminated, the download request is retransmitted to the ROM, and the start program is downloaded again. For example, as illustrated in S103, the longest startup time of the chip in the history is 500ms, and the preset time period is set to 500 ms. If the value of the register still maintains the original state information within 500ms and no change occurs, and the chip start program may be downloaded in error, the current operation is terminated, and a re-download request is sent to the ROM again.
Before the chip finishes downloading the chip starting program, the chip cannot be started, and the register value cannot be changed. Therefore, the change state of the internal register value of the chip is detected while the download identifier in the chip starting program is detected, and the download failure of the chip starting program is further prevented.
The method and the device can also realize the segmented downloading of the chip starting program according to the field information of the chip starting program acquired in the earlier stage. For example, when the download identifier is not detected in the preset time period, the field length information of the downloaded chip start program is acquired at the time, and the download request of the remaining fields is sent to the ROM according to the acquired original field information of the chip start program. Of course, the above downloading method also needs to complete the splitting of the program field and the splicing of the program field by the chip internal processor in the ROM.
Corresponding to the method for downloading the start-up program from the chip provided by the above embodiment, the present application further provides an embodiment of a chip, and as shown in fig. 4, a schematic structural diagram of a chip provided by the present application is provided.

The memory 202 is used for temporarily storing the chip start-up program downloaded from the chip, and the chip start-up program in the memory 202 is immediately released after the chip is started up.
When the chip 200 is powered on, in order to ensure the normal start of the chip 200, the processor 201 executes a method for downloading a program, determines a download identifier in a chip start program to be downloaded, and the download identifier is set in the last byte of the chip start program; and downloading the chip starting program, detecting the downloading identification in the downloading process, and controlling the downloading of the chip starting program according to the detection result of the downloading identification.
The processor in the chip does not detect the download identification in the last byte of the chip starting program in the chip download starting program, which indicates that the chip download starting program fails to download, and also detects the state information of the register value in the chip, if the chip download starting program fails, the register value in the corresponding chip will not change.
