Technical Field
The present invention relates to a guide assembly for a sliding door, in particular for a sliding door of furniture, and to a cabinet unit.
Background
EP 1253274 discloses a guide rail on which sliding door elements are arranged, which are interconnected by control cables and can thus be moved in opposite directions. The sliding door element is movable in the vertical direction and is held on opposite sides of the guide rail. However, such a guide device is not suitable for cabinet units with horizontally movable sliding doors, because the control cable is arranged at the edge in the plane of the guide roller axis of the sliding door element in the side wall, with one strand running in front of the guide roller and the other strand running behind the shaft end, so that the strand length of the control cable has to be designed with a length longer than the stroke. Furthermore, the strands arranged in front of the rail are visible.
A sliding door guide assembly is known from DE 29916772U 1, with the aim of coupling three doors to each other, which doors are interconnected by control cables. When the side doors are opened, the middle door can move at half speed. Control cables guided by deflection rollers are provided for coupling the doors. The deflection rollers are mounted on holders which are fixed to the inner wall of the sliding door, thus complicating the assembly and alignment of the sliding door.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a guide assembly for a sliding door which allows easy installation and is compact.
This object is achieved by a guide assembly for a sliding door according to the present invention and a cabinet unit according to the present invention.
The guide assembly according to the invention comprises a guide rail along which at least two sliding doors can be moved, wherein each sliding door is arranged on at least one guide section, wherein the two sliding doors are coupled to a control cable by means of the guide section, the control cable being held movably parallel to the guide rail by means of two deflection rollers arranged on opposite sides, such that the two sliding doors are moved together in opposite directions towards each other or away from each other. This allows the user to operate only one of the sliding doors, for example by means of a handle or handle lever, thereby moving the other sliding door at the same time.
For fixing the control cable, a holder is provided on the guide part, which holder can be fixed to the guide part and is provided on at least one fastening device for the control cable, which fastening device is movably fixed to the holder and is supported on a stop of the holder. As a result, the fastening means is fixed to the holder in a self-locking manner and the tension via the control cable can be transmitted to the stop by the fastening means on the holder. The fastening device can preferably be pivotably supported on the holder, wherein an interlocking fixing is achieved by the stop and the undercut to prevent pivoting due to the force of the control cable, which interlocking fixing can advantageously be fixed in the counter-pivoting direction in a force-locking manner by an additional configuration of the connecting portion. The fixing in the reverse pivoting direction can be formed, for example, by means of bolts or screws.
In this case, the holder may have two grooves for the fastening means for the control cable, so that both ends of the control cable can be fixed to the holder in each case. In addition, in the case of two grooves, the holder may be formed symmetrically with respect to a vertical center plane, so that it can be used for left and right guide portions on the sliding door.
For ease of assembly, a sleeve with slots may be provided on the fastening device, wherein the control cables may be inserted into the sleeve through the slots. The fastening device and the retainer may then be pre-assembled on the guide portion for subsequent attachment to the control cable. In addition, the clamping device for tensioning the control cable can then be supported on the sleeve after installation.
The fastening means are preferably designed as plastic parts. The holder preferably comprises a bent metal sheet substantially in the shape of a plate.
The control cable may substantially form a loop, wherein the term "loop" also comprises a loop of a plurality of segments combined to form a control cable. In this case, the two ends of the control cable may preferably be fixed to one and the same guide portion, for example the two sections of the control cable may comprise four ends and the two ends may be fixed to the guide portions in each case so that the two guide portions are positively guided by the control cable. In this case, the same fastening means can be provided on the same guide portion for fixing the end of the control cable, wherein different fastening means are used on the two guide portions, which facilitates assembly.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the sliding doors are each held suspended on two guide portions, and the control cables are in each case fixed on the guide portion facing the adjacent sliding door. As a result, the control cable can be made relatively short, since the guide portions are arranged closely close together in the closed position of the sliding door and only the range of movement of the central guide portions towards or away from each other has to be guided by the control cable.
For simple installation of the control cable, a retainer for fixing may be provided on each guide portion, which retainer may be fixed directly to the guide portion in a form-fitting manner, for example by projecting form elements (e.g. tongues and pins) or receiving form elements such as holes and undercuts, which interact with corresponding form-fitting designs on the guide portion and/or indirectly by fastening means such as rivets, screws or pins.
Preferably, the sliding door is held in the lower region by a sliding guide extending parallel to the guide rail. In this case, since the sliding door is fixed to the guide portion suspended at the top, the lower sliding guide is subjected to only a small force, and thus the sliding guide may be used instead of the roller guide.
According to a further aspect of the invention, a holder for fixing a control cable to a first guide part is provided, the two end sections of the control cable being fixed on the first guide part by loops and the two end sections of the control cable being fixed on a second guide part by clamping means, the clamping means and the loops being arranged in this case on different levels. This simplifies the assembly of the guide assembly, since the section of the control cable can be fixed to the guide part in a simple manner. Furthermore, rubbing or grinding of the control cable against the component in the event of movement is avoided, since it is tensioned in a loop substantially parallel to the guide rail.
According to the invention, the cabinet unit is provided with a corresponding guide assembly for the horizontally displaceable sliding door. In this case, the cabinet unit may have at least four sliding doors, wherein two middle sliding doors may be moved on the guide assembly according to the present invention and two outer sliding doors may be independently moved along the guide rail. The two intermediate sliding doors can move in a first front plane and the outer sliding doors in a second rear plane, so that the depth of the guide assembly of the sliding doors is smaller. During opening, the front sliding door can be placed in front of the rear sliding door, regardless of which of the connected sliding doors has moved in the opening direction.
Instead of a cabinet unit, the invention can also be used for room partitions, folding sliding doors or revolving doors.

The rear guide rail 14 serves to guide the intermediate sliding doors 4 and 5. The guide rail 13 has a forwardly projecting web 19, and the anti-lift mechanism 18 on the guide portion 9 engages under this web 19, so that the guide portion 9 is secured against lifting and removal of the guide portion 9 from the guide rail 13. In fig. 6 the guide parts 8 and 9 are shown from below, while fig. 7 shows the guide parts 8 and 9 from an oblique upper view, also the top floor 16. The holder 20 is fixed to the guide part 8, on the underside of the guide part 8 two bolts 21 being arranged, which bolts 21 are surrounded by a respective loop 22 of the control cable 10. Each ring 22 is fixed by a clamping element 23, so that a fixing of the control cable 10 is achieved on the holder 20, but no adjustment is possible.

The holder 30 has two recesses 34 formed in mirror symmetry on the side facing away from the guide section 9, wherein a mirror-symmetrical semicircular undercut into which a corresponding projection 37 of the fastening device 31 can be inserted is formed on each recess 34 in the direction of the plane of symmetry. The two fastening means 31 for fixing one end of the control cable 10 are mirror-symmetrical and therefore the same reference numerals have been used. Each fastening device 31 comprises a receptacle 35, into which receptacle 35 the web-shaped section 33 of the holder 30 can be inserted. Openings for screwing in the screws 32 are formed in the web-shaped section 33 and the receptacle 35, respectively. The fastening means 31 is inserted into the semicircular undercut by means of the projection 37 and then by pivoting the receiving portion 35 fits over the section 33, wherein the lugs on the projection 37 engage on the top side of the holder 30 and the edge engages on the bottom side of the holder 30. Thus, the fastening means 31 is mounted in the plane of the holder so as to be pivotable about the undercut of the groove 34, and the screw 32 is only used to fix this position. If the web-shaped part 33 is pivoted into the receptacle 35, the projection 37 rests in the groove 34 and the stop 36 rests firmly against the section 33 of the holder 30. If the force of the control cable is now acting on the outside, the undercut arranged in the direction of the plane of symmetry and the stop 36 prevent the pivoting of the fastening means 31 due to the effect of the eccentric force generated on the sleeve 38, so that the fastening means is fixed in a self-locking manner on the holder 30. The fastening device 31 further comprises a sleeve 38 having a slot 39 for insertion of the control cable 10.
The mounting of the control cable on the holder 30 is illustrated in fig. 11A and 11B, wherein the assembled state is illustrated in fig. 11A. First, the fastening device 31 is fixed to the holder 30 by the screw 32. The control cable 10 is then inserted into the sleeve 38 through the slot 39 of the sleeve 38 on said fastening device 31, which control cable 10 is fixed to the clamping element 40 and can be moved relative to the sleeve 38 by means of the adjusting element 41 or the spring to tension the control cable 10. Other adjustment mechanisms may also be used. Then, on the opposite side, the fastening device 31 is fixed to the holder 30, and the clamping element 40 and the adjusting element 41 are supported on the sleeve 38.
Fig. 11C and 11D show another exemplary embodiment of an assembly with an improved fastening device 31 "that can also be mounted. The fastening means 31 "differs from the first exemplary embodiment only in the covering surface above the projection 37, so that the groove 34 is covered after assembly. As mentioned above, the fastening means 31 "may thus also be mounted on the holder 30.
In fig. 12, the state of complete assembly on the holder 30 is shown, wherein it can be discerned that under tensile load on the control cable 10 the undercut and the stop 36 ensure that the fastening means 31 cannot pivot about the axis of the screw 32. Furthermore, it is shown that a sleeve 42 with a smaller diameter is arranged on the clamping element 40, wherein the adjusting element 41 is mounted on the sleeve 42 and the sleeve 42 can be inserted into the sleeve 38 for fixing the control cable 10 to the fastening device 31. To fix the fastening means 31, locking means may further be formed on the projection 37, which locking means cooperate with the groove 34 on the holder 30 to provide a holding force for the fastening means 31 at this time. The fastening means 31 thus independently withstand the forces under the force of the control cable 10, and the screw 32 serves largely only as a fastening means in the unloaded state.
Fig. 13A and 13B show a variant embodiment of the holders 20 'and 30' that can be fixed to the guide portions 8 and 9. The retaining element 21' with the protrusion is fixed to the retainer 20' on the groove 34', wherein the loop 22 of one end of the control cable 10 is arranged around the protrusion. The end of the control cable 10 is thereby fixed to the holder 20', wherein in each case both ends are fixed to the holder 20'.
The fastening means 31' is fixed to the modified holder 30' and the fastening means 31' is fixed in the groove 34. The fastening device 31' has a sleeve 38, the sleeve 38 being provided with a slot 39 for the passage of the control cable 10, as is the case in the previous exemplary embodiment. The control cable 10 is fixed to the sleeve-shaped section 38 by means of a clamping element 40 and an adjusting element 41. However, the fastening means 31 is not additionally fixed by screws, but may be fixed by clamping and/or latching on a groove 34 'on the holder 30', wherein a locking lug on the holder 30 'engages behind the contour of the protrusion 37', which can be seen in the sectional view of fig. 14B. The holding element 21 'on the holder 20' is also fixed by clamping and/or locking into the groove 34 'of the holder 20'.
Fig. 15 shows a modified arrangement for synchronising the movement of the intermediate sliding doors 4 and 5. A holder 20 "' for fixing the control cable 10 is provided on the guide part 8, on which holder 20" ' the two end sections of the control cable 10 are fixed by means of respective loops 22 on a holding element 21 "'. Each ring 22 is fixed by a clamping element 23. A holder 30 "'is provided on the other guide part 9, the holder 30"' having two integrally formed sleeves 31 "', each sleeve 31"' serving to support a clamping device for fixing the control cable 10. Each clamping device comprises a clamping element 40 fixed to the control cable 10 and an elastic adjustment element 41, in particular a spring supported on a sleeve 31' ″.
In the detail views of fig. 16 and 17A to 17C, two holders 20 "'and 30"' are shown without the guide portions 8 and 9. Two free notches are provided on the holder 20 "', each facing an integrally formed holding element 21"' for the ring 22. For fixing one end of the control cable 10, the loop 22 is in each case guided around a holding element 21 "', which holding element 21" ' lies in the plane of the plate-shaped holder 20 "', so that a particularly flat structure exists. As shown in fig. 17C, the retaining element 21 "' is chamfered or rounded at least at the contact edge with the ring 22 to avoid damage to the control cable 10. The retaining element 21 "'and the ring 22 are in this case arranged in different vertical planes, but substantially in the same horizontal plane as the sleeve 31"', so that the control cable 10 is guided in a loop shape in plan view.
In the shown embodiment the guiding assembly is used to guide the intermediate sliding doors 4 and 5 on the cabinet unit 1. Instead of a cabinet unit 1 with four doors, it is also possible to provide guiding assemblies for more than four doors. In addition, the guide assembly may also be applied to a room partition or an intermediate wall. In addition, the guide assembly may be used to guide a vertically sliding door on furniture or a room partition.

Claims (16)

1. Guide assembly for sliding doors (4, 5), comprising a guide rail (13) along which at least two sliding doors (4, 5) are movably held, wherein each sliding door (4, 5) is movable on the guide rail (13) by means of at least one guide portion (8, 9) and the two sliding doors (4, 5) are coupled to a control cable (10) by means of the guide portions (8, 9), wherein the control cable (10) is movably held substantially parallel to the guide rail (13) by means of at least two deflection rollers (11, 12) arranged on opposite sides, characterized in that, for fixing the control cable (10) on the guide portions (8, 9), a holder (30, 30') is provided, which holder (30, 30') can be fixed to the guide portion (8, 8), 9) And at least one fastening device (31, 31', 31") for the control cable, which fastening device (31, 31', 31") is movably fixed to the holder (30, 30') and is supported at least on a stop (36) firmly abutting against the holder (30, 30'), which fastening device (31, 31') is pivotably mounted on the holder (30, 30'), so that an interlocking fixation is achieved by the stop (36) and an undercut at the holder (30, 30') to prevent pivoting due to the force of the control cable (10).

4. Guide assembly according to claim 3, wherein the two grooves (34) on the holder (30, 30') are arranged symmetrically with respect to a vertical center plane.
5. Guide assembly according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, characterized in that a sleeve (38) with a slot (39) is provided on the fastening means (31, 31') and that the control cable (10) can be inserted into the sleeve (38) through the slot (39) for mounting.
6. Guide assembly according to claim 5, characterized in that clamping means (40, 41) for tensioning the control cable (10) are supported on the sleeve (38).
7. Guide assembly according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 6, characterized in that latching means are provided on the fastening means (31, 31'), by means of which latching means the fastening means can be latched on the holder in the mounted state.
8. Guide assembly according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 6, characterized in that the control cable (10) is substantially shaped like a loop and in that the control cable (10) has two sections with four ends and in that the two ends are each fixed to a guide part (8, 9).
9. Guide assembly according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 6, characterized in that the sliding doors (4, 5) are each held on two guide portions and the control cable (10) is fixed in each case to the guide portion (8, 9) facing the adjacent sliding door (4, 5).
10. Guide assembly according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 6, wherein the sliding door (4, 5) is a sliding door for furniture.
11. Guide assembly for sliding doors (4, 5), comprising a guide rail (13) along which at least two sliding doors (4, 5) are movably held, wherein each sliding door (4, 5) is movable on the guide rail (13) by means of at least one guide portion (8, 9) and the two sliding doors (4, 5) are coupled to a control cable (10) by means of the guide portions (8, 9), wherein the control cable (10) is movably held substantially parallel to the guide rail (13) by means of at least two deflection rollers (11, 12) arranged on opposite sides, characterized in that, for fixing the control cable (10) on the first guide portion (9), a holder (30, 30', 30 "') is provided, two end sections of the control cable (10) being fixed to the holder (30, 30" ') by means of a ring (22), 30', 30 "') and on the second guide portion (8) a further holder (20, 20', 20"'), to which further holder (20, 20', 20 "') the two end sections of the control cable (10) are fixed by means of clamping means (40, 41), and the clamping means (40, 41) and the ring (22) are arranged in different planes parallel to the guide rail (13), fastening means (31" ') being integrally formed with the holder (30 "'), and a ring attachment (21" ') being integrally formed with the further holder (20 "'), so that an interlocking fixation is achieved to prevent pivoting due to the force of the control cable (10).

The cabinet unit according to claim 14, characterized in that the cabinet unit (1) comprises at least four sliding doors (3, 4, 5, 6), and that two intermediate sliding doors (4, 5) are movable by means of a guide assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 10, and that two outer sliding doors (3, 6) are movable along the guide rail (13) independently of each other.
16. The cabinet unit according to claim 15, wherein the two intermediate sliding doors (4, 5) are movable in a front plane and the outer sliding doors (3, 6) are movable in a rear plane, and in the open position the front sliding door (4, 5) is arranged in front of the rear sliding door (3, 6).
