Background
To meet the increasingly diversified demands of consumers, there is an increasing demand for adding rear-mounted products to vehicles. Currently, rear-mounted products are mostly connected to the vehicle body by means of a nut plate as a mounting structure. However, the existing nut plate is usually welded or bonded on the vehicle body, the installation position is relatively fixed, and the welding or bonding process easily causes an error in the installation position, so that the accuracy of the installation position of the nut plate cannot be guaranteed.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Embodiments of the present invention provide a nut plate assembly for mounting on a body panel of a vehicle.
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, the nut plate assembly includes a mounting base 12, a nut plate 11, a magnetic member 13, a nut 14 and a fastening member 15, the nut plate 11 has magnetism, one side of the nut plate 11 abuts against the body plate 20, one side of the nut plate 11 facing away from the body plate 20 abuts against the magnetic member 13, one side of the nut plate 11 abutting against the magnetic member 13 is welded with the nut 14, the fastening member 15 sequentially penetrates through the mounting base 12, the body plate 20 and the nut plate 11 to connect the nut 14, and one side of the mounting base 12 facing away from the nut plate 11 is provided with a first connecting member 16 for connecting an after-loading product 30.
The body panel 20 and the nut plate 11 are both metal members having a magnetic pair that can be attracted to the magnetic member 13. When the nut plate assembly is installed on the vehicle body panel 20, one side of the nut plate 11 is attached to the vehicle body panel 20, the other side of the nut plate 11 is provided with the magnetic part 13, the magnetic part 13 can generate an adsorption effect with the vehicle body panel 20 of the metal part, and the nut plate is further fixed on the vehicle body panel 20 through the magnetic part 13. Therefore, when the nut plate assembly is installed, a worker can firstly find the installation position on the vehicle body plate 20, attach the nut plate 11 to the vehicle body plate 20, and then fix the nut plate 11 through the magnetic member 13. Even if the installation position has errors, the position of the nut plate 11 can be conveniently moved by removing the magnetic piece 13, and the installation of the nut plate component is ensured to be more flexible.
It will be appreciated that the magnetic element 13 may be affixed to one side of the nut plate 11 and may not completely cover the surface of the nut plate 11, such that the nut 14 may be welded where the nut plate is not covered by the magnetic element 13. Alternatively, the magnetic member 13 may be provided with a through hole 131 so that the nut can be passed through the through hole 131 and welded to the nut plate 11. The mounting base 12 and the nut plate 11 are respectively located on two sides of the vehicle body plate 20, and after the nut plate 11 is fixed on the vehicle body plate 20, the fastening member 15 penetrates through the mounting base 12, the vehicle body plate 20, the nut plate 11 and the magnetic member 13, and is fixedly connected with the nut 14, so that the mounting base 12 is also fixed on the vehicle body plate 20. In the embodiment of the present invention, the fastening member 15 is connected to the nut 14 to clamp the body panel 20 between the nut plate 11 and the mounting base 12. The mounting base 12 is provided with a first attachment member 16 for mounting the aftermarket product 30 such that the aftermarket product 30 is mounted to the vehicle by the nut plate assembly. The first connector 16 may be a snap-fit connection, a threaded connection, an adhesive, a weld, or the like, with the aftermarket product 30. According to the connection between the nut plate assembly and the automobile body plate provided by the embodiment of the invention, processes such as welding, bonding and the like are not needed, so that the nut plate assembly is more convenient to mount, the mounting position is more flexible, and the accuracy of the mounting position of the nut plate assembly is ensured.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the nut plate 11 includes a connecting plate 112 and a protruding portion 111, the protruding portion 111 protrudes from a middle portion of the connecting plate 112 to a direction away from the body panel 20, the protruding portion 111 forms an accommodating cavity for accommodating the mounting base 12, a through hole 131 is formed in a middle portion of the magnetic member 13, the protruding portion 111 penetrates through the through hole 131, the magnetic member 13 is attached to the connecting plate 112, and the nut 14 is welded on the protruding portion 111. In the embodiment of the present invention, the body panel 20 is provided with a through hole, a portion of the mounting base 12 penetrates through the through hole and is accommodated in the accommodating cavity, and another portion of the mounting base 12 is located on a side of the body panel 20 facing away from the screw mother board 11. Therefore, the nut plate 11 can fix the mounting base 12, and the connection stability of the mounting base 12 is further enhanced. The convex part 111 of the nut plate 11 is arranged in the middle of the connecting plate 112 and protrudes out of the magnetic part 13, and the magnetic part 13 is fixed on the connecting plate 112 through magnetic attraction, so that the periphery of the nut plate 11 can be attracted with the body plate 20 through the magnetic part 13, and the attraction stability of the nut plate 11 and the body plate 20 is further ensured.
Alternatively, the magnetic member 13 may be sized and shaped to correspond to the coupling plate 112 so that the coupling plate 112 can be attracted to the body panel 20 to enhance the stability of the coupling of the nut plate 11.
Referring to fig. 2, the mounting base 12 includes a base body 122 and a second connecting member 121, the second connecting member 121 is disposed in the middle of one side of the base body 122 and is received in the receiving cavity, one side of the base body 122, on which the second connecting member 121 is disposed, abuts against the body panel 20, and the first connecting member 16 is disposed on the base body 122. In the embodiment of the present invention, the second connecting member 121 protrudes outward from the middle of the base body 122, and the second connecting member 121 is accommodated in the accommodating cavity, so as to realize the fastening connection between the mounting base 12 and the nut plate 11, and thus, the mounting of the mounting base 12 and the nut plate 11 is more convenient and faster. A stepped surface is formed on the side of the base body 122 connected to the second connector 121, and the stepped surface abuts against the body panel 20, so that the base body 122 can be restrained on the side of the body panel 20. It should be noted that, a through hole for the second connecting member 121 to pass through is formed in the body panel 20, and the size of the through hole is consistent with the size of the second connecting member 121, so as to prevent the base body 122 from passing through the through hole, thereby limiting the mounting base 12. In this way, the mounting base 12 is connected to the nut plate 11 through the second connecting member 121, and simultaneously the body plate 20 is clamped between the base body 122 and the nut plate 11, so as to better mount and fix the nut plate assembly on the body plate 20.
Optionally, the first connecting element 16 is disposed on a side of the base body 122 opposite to the second connecting element 121, and the first connecting element 16 is provided with a connecting hole 161. That is, in the present embodiment, the nut plate assembly is coupled to the afterloaded product 30 through the coupling hole 161. This also makes installation of the afterloaded product 30 easier and more convenient.
Further, the nut plate assembly further includes a sealing ring 17, and the sealing ring 17 is disposed outside the second connecting member 121 and attached to the base body 122. That is, when the nut plate assembly is mounted on the vehicle body panel 20, the packing 17 is sandwiched between the vehicle body panel 20 and the mount body 122 to seal the connection of the mount base 12 and the vehicle body panel 20 and prevent dust, moisture, etc. from entering the inside of the vehicle body panel 20, that is, the side of the vehicle body panel 20 to which the nut plate 11 is connected.
The seal ring 17 is made of elastic material, such as silicone rubber, etc. Thus, the sealing ring 17 can play a role in buffering the connection between the mounting base 12 and the vehicle body plate 20, prevent the mounting base 12 from scraping the vehicle body plate 20 or prevent the vehicle body plate 20 from deforming due to the extrusion of the vehicle body plate 20, and better protect the vehicle body plate 20.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the mounting base 12 includes a first mounting hole 101, the first mounting hole 101 penetrates through the base body 122 and the second connecting member 121; the nut plate 11 is provided with a second mounting hole 102, and the second mounting hole 102 penetrates through the connecting plate 112 and the protruding part 111 and is opposite to the screw hole of the nut 14; the fastener 15 passes through the first mounting hole 101 and the second mounting hole 102. The fastener 15 may be a bolt. After the nut plate assembly is fixed on the inner side of the vehicle body plate 20 through the magnetic member 13, the bolt sequentially penetrates through the first mounting hole 101 and the second mounting hole 102 and then is in threaded connection with the nut 14, so that the purpose of fixedly mounting the base 12 and the nut plate 11 on the vehicle body plate 20 is achieved, and the connection stability of the nut plate assembly and the vehicle body plate 20 is further enhanced.
Referring to fig. 2, the mounting base 12 further includes a first wire hole 103, the first wire hole 103 penetrates through the base body 122 and the second connecting member 121, the nut plate 11 is provided with a second wire hole 104, the second wire hole 104 penetrates through the connecting plate 112 and the protrusion 111, and an opening of the first wire hole 103 faces an opening of the second wire hole 104. It will be appreciated that the afterloaded product 30 will typically require connection to an in-vehicle power source to enable power to be supplied to the afterloaded product 30. The afterload product 30 is mounted on the outer side of the body panel 20, and the wiring harness of the afterload product 30 can penetrate through the first wiring harness hole 103 and the second wiring harness hole 104, so that connection with the vehicle wiring harness on the inner side of the body panel 20 is achieved, and normal use of the afterload product 30 is guaranteed. Thus, it is not necessary to additionally perform a hole-punching design of the body panel 20, simplifying the mounting process.
Optionally, the number of the first mounting holes 101 and the number of the second mounting holes 102 are two, the first wire harness hole 103 is located between the two first mounting holes 101, and the second wire harness hole 104 is located between the two second mounting holes 102. The number of the fastening members 15 may be two, and one fastening member 15 corresponds to one first mounting hole 101 and one second mounting hole 102. In this way, by the fixing of the two fastening members 15, a possible rotation of the nut plate assembly due to one fixing point is prevented, further enhancing the stability of the connection of the nut plate assembly on the body panel 20. The wiring harness of the afterloaded product 30 is located between the two fasteners 15, making more reasonable use of the space of the nut plate assembly.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a vehicle, which comprises a vehicle body plate and the nut plate assembly, wherein the nut plate assembly is arranged on the vehicle body plate. Since the technical solution of this embodiment includes all technical solutions of the above embodiments, at least all technical effects of the above embodiments can be achieved, and details are not repeated here.
Optionally, the vehicle body plate can be provided with a via hole for the second connecting piece to pass through, and the size of the via hole is consistent with that of the second connecting piece, so that the base body is prevented from passing through the via hole, the mounting base is limited, and the nut plate assembly and the vehicle body plate can be mounted more simply and conveniently.

the nut plate comprises a connecting plate and a protruding part, the protruding part protrudes from the middle part of the connecting plate to the direction far away from the automobile body plate, an accommodating cavity for accommodating the mounting base is formed in the protruding part, a through hole is formed in the middle of the magnetic part, the protruding part penetrates through the through hole, the magnetic part is attached to the connecting plate, and the nut is welded on the protruding part;

A nut plate assembly as defined in any one of claims 1-4, being characterized in that said mounting base includes a first mounting hole passing through said base body and said second connector; the nut plate is provided with a second mounting hole which penetrates through the connecting plate and the protruding part and is opposite to the screw hole of the nut; the fastener passes through the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole.

The nut plate assembly of claim 5 wherein said mounting base further includes a first wire hole extending through said base body and said second connector, said nut plate having a second wire hole extending through said web and said projection, said first wire hole having an aperture facing an aperture of said second wire hole.
7. A nut plate assembly as defined in claim 6, being characterized in that said first and second mounting holes are each two in number, said first wire aperture being located between two of said first mounting holes, said second wire aperture being located between two of said second mounting holes.
8. A vehicle comprising a body panel and a nut plate assembly as defined in any one of claims 1 to 7 mounted thereon.
