Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of feed additives, in particular to a coated granular small peptide feed additive and a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
The plant protein is used as a raw material, and the biological engineering technology and the liquid combined enzymolysis technology are adopted, so that the plant protein can be decomposed into small peptides with low molecular weight, low antigen, high water solubility, direct absorption, safety, stability and high cost performance. In the aspects of livestock, poultry, aquatic animals and ruminants, small peptides are researched more, and the products are mature. In the aspect of pets, the feed is mainly used as a nutrient and energy substance and is used together with medicines in an auxiliary way, so that the immune function after diseases can be improved, and the resistance can be enhanced.
The small peptide is a proteolysis product, some hydrophobic amino acids originally contained in the protein are exposed in the enzymolysis process, and residues of the amino acids stimulate taste buds to show bitter taste. Because the cat has 12 genes for sensing the bitter taste, the cat is very sensitive to the bitter taste and does not like the bitter taste, when the small peptide is eaten by the cat directly or mixed in cat food, the cat can sense the bitter taste and can not eat the small peptide.
In order to solve the bitter taste, the currently used method is as follows: add flavor that cats prefer to mask the bitterness. Experiments prove that the flavor which is liked by cats is added into the small peptide, the amount of the flavor is respectively added into 40% from 2%, and then the small peptide added with the flavor is mixed into cat food and eaten by the cats, so that the cats still can sense the flavor and do not eat food. Research analysis, mainly cats, are particularly sensitive to bitter taste and do not eat bitter foods.
In order to solve the bitter taste, a solid preparation process, namely a wet granulation and spheronization coating technology, can be adopted, and the small peptide is subjected to wet granulation and then coated with a layer of material on the surface, so that the bitter taste can be covered, and the problem that cats cannot eat the small peptide is solved. However, because the small peptide is viscous and hard when added with water, a large amount of auxiliary materials are needed to be added to prepare the small peptide into granules, and the content of the small peptide in a finished product is about 25 percent and is lower by the process method.
