Detailed Description
The embodiment of the invention provides a refrigerator and a drawer assembly thereof. Fig. 1 is a schematic sectional view of a refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the refrigerator includes a cabinet 10 and a drawer assembly 20. The housing 10 defines at least one storage compartment 101, such as three storage compartments 101 shown in FIG. 1. Some or all of the storage compartments 101 are provided with drawer assemblies 20.
The drawer assembly 20 includes a drawer body 300 and an upper cover 400, the drawer body 300 defining a storage space for storing food items and having an upper side opening 390 opened upward to facilitate access to the items from the storage space. The upper cover 400 is disposed above the drawer body 300 and used for covering the upper opening 390, so as to create a sealed storage environment for the drawer body 300, and is beneficial to food preservation.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 1, the upper cover 400 is fixed to the storage compartment 101, and the drawer body 300 is disposed in the storage compartment 101 in a manner of being pushed and pulled back and forth and below the upper cover 400. When the drawer body 300 is pushed into the storage compartment 101 to be in a closed state, the upper cover 400 just covers the upper opening 390 of the drawer body 300. When the drawer body 300 is pulled out of the storage compartment 101 (as shown in fig. 1), the upper opening 390 of the drawer body 300 is exposed, so that the user can access the articles conveniently.
in other embodiments, not shown, the top cover 400 is not fixed to the storage compartment 101, but fixed to the drawer body 300, and after the user pulls out the drawer body 300, the user needs to manually remove the top cover 400 to expose the upper opening 390.
FIG. 2 is a schematic exploded view of the drawer assembly 20 of one embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 3 is a partial sectional view of the upper cover 400 and the sealing strip 500 of the drawer assembly 20 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 2; FIG. 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the drawer assembly 20 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 2. Fig. 3 and 4 are schematic views of the right upper structure of the drawer assembly 20 cut along a right-left extending vertical plane to illustrate the cross section of the seal 500.
As shown in fig. 2 to 4, the drawer assembly 20 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a drawer body 300, an upper cover 400, and a sealing tape 500.
The sealing strip 500 may be a closed structure with an end-to-end connection in the length direction, and may be made of rubber material or other non-metal materials with elasticity to facilitate sealing.
the top of the sealing strip 500 is fixed to the lower surface periphery of the upper cover 400, and the bottom is divided into two sealing layers which are arranged at intervals, namely, an inner sealing layer 510 closer to the inner side of the drawer body 300 and an outer sealing layer 520 closer to the outer side of the drawer body 300. Both the inner seal layer 510 and the outer seal layer 520 extend continuously along the length of the sealing tape 500.
As shown in fig. 3, it is preferable that the lower surface of the upper cover 400 has a receiving groove 401 opened downward at a periphery thereof, and the top of the sealing tape 500 is fitted into the receiving groove 401. Sealing strip 500 is interference fit with holding tank 401 to make sealing strip 500 rely on the tension to fasten in holding tank 401, connect firm and easy dismounting.
As shown in FIG. 3, it is preferable that the edge of the upper opening 390 of the drawer body 300 has an outward flange 310, the top surface of the flange 310 is for sealing contact with the inner and outer sealing layers 510 and 520, and the flange 310 is provided for increasing the sealing area. The top surface of cuff 310 may be planar.
When the upper cover 400 does not cover the drawer body 300, the sealing strip 500 is in a loose state, and the two sealing layers are parallel to each other, as shown in fig. 3. When the upper cover 400 covers the drawer body 300, the sealing tape 500 is pressed upward by the drawer body 300, and is clamped between the lower surface periphery of the upper cover 400 and the top periphery of the drawer body 300, so that the inner sealing layer 510 and the outer sealing layer 520 are elastically deformed to more tightly seal the gap between the upper cover 400 and the drawer body 300. For example, fig. 4, the inner seal layer 510 and the outer seal layer 520 are biased away from each other by the extrusion. The inner and outer sealing layers form a double-layer sealing structure, so that the sealing property is enhanced. Moreover, the two sealing layers formed by the bifurcation at the bottom of the sealing strip 500 are thinner (at least thinner than the top of the sealing strip), so that the elastic deformation capability of each sealing layer can be improved, and the sealing fit degree of each sealing layer with the drawer body 300 is enhanced.
FIG. 5 is a schematic exploded view of a drawer assembly 20 according to another embodiment of the present invention; fig. 6 is a schematic sectional view of a partial structure of the drawer assembly 20 of the embodiment shown in fig. 5.
in other embodiments, as shown in fig. 5 and 6, the edge of the upper opening 390 of the drawer body 300 is covered with the outer casing 600, the outer casing 600 is made of hard material and has smooth surface, and the outer surface of the outer casing 600 is in sealing contact with the inner sealing layer 510 and the outer sealing layer 520. The hard material can be POM material, and the POM material has high strength and rigidity, small friction coefficient and good wear resistance. Particularly, the friction coefficient is small, so that the inner sealing layer 510 and the outer sealing layer 520 can be deformed under stress, the inner sealing layer and the outer sealing layer can be attached to the outer shell 600 more tightly, and the sealing performance is improved.
in addition, the upper cover 400 is fixed in the storage compartment 101 and does not move, when the drawer body 300 is pushed backwards, friction force between the top of the drawer body 300 and the sealing strip 500 is large, and pushing is hard, so that the shell 600 with the smooth surface can be contacted with the sealing strip 500 to reduce friction force, and the effect of pushing the drawer body backwards is facilitated.
Fig. 7 is a schematic sectional view of a partial structure of still another embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the bottom portion of the inner and/or outer sealing layers is forked into two sub-sealing layers. For example, as shown in fig. 7, the bottom portion of the outer seal layer 720 forks into two sub-seal layers 721, 722. The arrangement of the two sub-sealing layers can form a multi-layer sealing structure, and the sealing performance is further enhanced.
Thus, it should be appreciated by those skilled in the art that while a number of exemplary embodiments of the invention have been illustrated and described in detail herein, many other variations or modifications consistent with the principles of the invention may be directly determined or derived from the disclosure of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the scope of the invention should be understood and interpreted to cover all such other variations or modifications.
