When the range hood works, air flow is sucked into the front side part of the impeller 5 from the front air inlet 411 of the fan, and because the front air inlet 411 and the rear air vent 421 are blocked, the air flow can only flow out from the air outlet 6 of the fan, and under the condition of large resistance of a public flue, the air flow at the air outlet 6 of the fan can flow back to the rear side part of the impeller 5, and then flows back into the noise reduction cavity 8 through the rear air vent 421. Therefore, after the noise reduction cavity 8 is arranged, the noise reduction cavity 8 blocks the airflow source of the rear ventilation opening 421, so that the flow noise of the airflow disorder in the narrow space at the rear side of the fan housing 2 is eliminated, the outward transmission path of the noise through the rear side of the fan housing 2 can be blocked, and under the condition of large resistance of the public flue, the noise reduction cavity 8 can also play a role in pressure relief, and the flow noise caused by the airflow in the countercurrent return noise reduction cavity 8 is blocked in the noise reduction cavity 8. In addition, the range hood is provided with a mesh 431 on the volute annular wall 43, and the periphery of the volute annular wall 43 is wrapped with annular sound absorbing cotton 11. The annular sound absorbing cotton 11 can absorb part of flowing noise in the noise reduction cavity 8, so that the noise of the range hood during operation is further reduced on the premise of not losing air quantity and air pressure.
Through experiments, although the noise reduction cavity 8 blocks the rear side air inlet channel of the fan 1, the influence on the air performance of the range hood is small, so that the noise of the range hood is reduced by 2-3 db during normal operation, and a good noise reduction function is achieved.
The oil filter 12 of the range hood is arranged below the fan 1 and is obliquely downwards from front to back, and a lampblack channel 13 is reserved between the oil filter 12 and the guide plate 7, so that lampblack at the rear side part below the range hood can be smoothly guided into the front air inlet 411 of the fan 1 by the guide plate 7. In order to improve the rectifying effect, the range hood is provided with a rectifying plate 14 substantially parallel to the oil filter 12 below the oil filter 12.
Embodiment two:

When the range hood works, firstly, noise transmitted from the fan rear ventilation opening 421 enters the inner layer silencing cavity 951 and is absorbed by the sound absorbing cotton 10 in the inner layer silencing cavity 951; then, the noise enters the outer sound-deadening chamber 952 after passing through the inner sound-deadening chamber 951, and is absorbed by the sound-absorbing cotton 10 in the outer sound-deadening chamber 952, and finally only a part of the noise enters the noise-deadening chamber 8 through the outer sound-deadening chamber 952. Therefore, through the double-layer silencing cavity and the structure of the sound absorbing cotton, noise is effectively absorbed, and a good noise reduction effect is achieved.
Embodiment III:
