Abstract
本发明提供一种利用超声空化评价金属力学性能的方法及装置,该方法包括如下步骤:1)制备脱气水,向加压舱内注水并去除超声换能器内表面的气泡;2)将待检测金属切割成薄片样品;3)将金属薄片样品固定在超声换能器内,将光纤平行粘于金属样品表面,注满水;4)启动换能器的驱动装置,连接高速摄像系统;5)确定焦点的位置及超声换能器的最佳工作频率,调整样品的位置使得焦点位于其表面;6)通过高速摄像拍摄金属的空蚀过程;7)观察金属的表面损伤形貌,结合金属的物理性质评价其力学性能。本发明采用声空化的方法从金属表面形貌学的角度评价金属的力学性能具有科学、方便的优点,对探究金属的力学本构关系具有重大理论和应用价值。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及金属材料的力学性能评价和表征领域,特别是涉及一种利用超声空化评价金属力学性能的方法及装置。
背景技术
金属材料的强度和塑性、硬度、冲击韧性和疲劳强度是机械加工领域常见的力学性能,各项力学性能指标需要通过不同的试验测定,如室温拉伸试验、剪切试验、疲劳试验等,这种分散的力学性能测试方法不利于批量测试工作的开展。此外,关于金属材料常规力学性能测试的不确定度评定的报道越来越多[见“Heavy Casting&Forging”,16卷第3期46-50页,(2005年)],这对常规力学性能测试的科学性提出了严峻的挑战。因此,一种评价金属材料的力学性能的新方法的提出是势在必行的。
超声空化泡崩溃瞬间,泡内出现局部而短暂的高温、高压,分别高达5000K和105atm[见“Annu.Rev.Phys.Chem.”,59第1期659–683页,(2008年)],气泡内外形成速度高达4000m/s,压力高达106kPa的冲击波[见“Phys.Rev.Lett.”,84卷第6期1328-1330页,(2000年)],进而诱发自由基的生成,乃至声致发光现象。此外,固体表面的空化泡的非对称性坍缩能够产生100m/s的高速射流[见“Ultrasonics Sonochemistry”,33卷第4期170–181页,(2016)]。这些极端物理化学环境为金属材料在特殊条件下力学性能的评价提供了重要的途径。
发明内容
鉴于以上所述现有技术的缺点,本发明的目的在于提供一种利用超声空化评价金属力学性能的方法及装置,用于解决现有技术中常规力学性能测试的分散和不足等问题。
为实现上述目的及其他相关目的,本发明第一方面提供一种利用超声空化评价金属力学性能的方法,包括如下步骤:
1)制备脱气水,向加压舱内注水并去除超声换能器内表面的气泡;
2)将待检测金属切割成薄片样品;
3)将金属薄片样品固定在超声换能器内,将光纤平行粘于金属样品表面,光纤端部裸露,关闭加压舱,注满水;
4)启动换能器的驱动装置,连接高速摄像系统,设置其与功率源输出同步;
5)通过光纤水听器进行声场和频率扫描,确定焦点的位置及超声换能器的最佳工作频率,进一步调整样品的位置使得焦点位于其表面,然后,调节高速摄像镜头的焦距至最佳拍摄状态;
6)在一定的静水压力和驱动功率下对金属表面进行空化处理,通过高速摄像拍摄金属的空蚀过程;
7)观察金属的表面损伤形貌,并对其特征进行定性和定量分析,结合金属的物理性质研究金属在超声辐照过程中的损伤机理,以此评价其力学性能。
在本发明的一些实施例中,步骤2)中,所述金属选自金、银、铜、钨、钼、镍、钛、锡、铝、不锈钢或者其合金中的至少一种。
在本发明的一些实施例中,步骤2)中,金属薄片样品的厚度为0.5-5mm,包括边界值。

本发明第二方面提供用于评价金属力学性能的装置,包括超声换能器以及位于所述超声换能器内的工装,所述工装上固定有金属薄片样品,所述金属薄片样品表面粘有光纤,所述加压舱的窗口设有用于拍摄金属薄片空蚀过程的高速摄像系统。
在本发明的一些实施例中,还包括增压装置,用于提高加压舱内介质水的静压力,所述超声换能器位于所述加压舱内。
在本发明的一些实施例中,还包括驱动装置,由电源和功率源组成,用于驱动换能器产生超声波。
在本发明的一些实施例中,所述加压舱内的介质水经脱气装置脱气处理,脱气装置用于降低水中的含氧量。

以下实施例选择的金属是不同硬度的铜片和镍片,厚度均为1mm,当然,其他厚度的其他金属也适用于本发明,例如金、银、铂、钨、钼、钛、锡、铝、不锈钢及它们的合金等。
金属样品的厚度≤5mm,具体可以为5mm、4mm、3mm、2mm、1mm、0.5mm等,使得样品对声场的影响最小,且在实验过程中不至于穿孔。
实施例1
本实施例的操作步骤如下:
1)制备脱气水,向加压舱内注水并去除超声换能器内表面的气泡;
2)通过电火花切割技术将铜和镍切割成Ф10mm×1mm的薄片样品(样品为圆柱体,直径为10mm,厚度为1mm),先使用3000目的砂纸以手磨的方式进行十字交错打磨至肉眼可以识别的光滑程度,再在铜和铝对应的电解液中进行表面抛光;
3)将抛光后的铜片和镍片固定在工装上,光纤端部裸露平行粘于样品表面,然后将工装水平放入超声换能器内,关闭加压舱,注满水;
4)启动换能器的驱动装置,连接高速摄像系统(拍摄帧频为3000fps,图像分辨率为1024×1024pixel)(高速摄像系统包括摄像机、照明灯、控制软件等),设置其与功率源输出同步;
5)通过光纤水听器进行声场和频率扫描,确定焦点的位置及超声换能器的最佳工作频率此处最佳工作频率的含义参考文献[见“AIP Advances”,12卷第5期673-681页,(2015年)],进一步调整样品的位置使得焦点位于其表面,然后,调节高速摄像镜头的焦距至最佳拍摄状态;
6)在10MPa的静水压力和2000W的驱动功率下,采用连续波输出的方式对铜和镍的表面进行空化处理1s,同时通过高速摄像拍摄铜片和镍片的空蚀过程;
7)在扫描电子显微镜下观察两种金属的空蚀形貌,并通过激光共聚焦显微镜测量铜和镍表面形成的坑的深度。
实验结果如表1和图2、图3所示,从实验结果发现,在10MPa静水压力、2000W驱动功率的瞬态空化下,铜发生了熔化,而镍仅发生了软化;此外,同一金属,随着硬度的增加,金属表面的空蚀坑的深度逐渐减小;相似硬度,熔点越低的金属,坑的深度越大。
本实施例采用的装置如图1所示,该装置包括超声换能器以及位于超声换能器的工装2,超声换能器的中心为焦点3,工装2上固定有金属薄片1,焦点3处于金属薄片1表面,金属薄片1表面粘有光纤4,加压舱壁设有两个观察窗口5,高速摄像系统通过该观察窗口5对金属薄片1的空蚀过程进行拍摄。
该装置还包括增压装置,用于对加压舱内的介质水进行增压处理,超声换能器位于加压舱内。
超声换能器连接有脱气装置,用于降低介质水中的含氧量。
超声换能器连接有驱动装置,由电源和功率源组成,用于驱动换能器产生超声波。
该装置还包括用于控制工装2移动的运动装置6,光纤4与光纤水听器共同组成声压测量系统,并借助运动装置进行声场扫描,以此确定焦点的位置。
光纤4端部从金属薄片样品和光纤粘结的位置伸出3±1mm,以最大限度地减小来自金属薄片及粘结剂的声波干扰。
综上所述,本发明解决了金属在特殊环境下力学性能的评价问题,避免了常规力学性能测试的不确定度评定的问题。本发明借助声空化的方法从金属表面形貌学的角度评价金属的力学性能具有科学、方便的优点,对探究金属材料力学本构关系具有重大理论和应用价值。

3)将金属薄片样品固定在超声换能器内,将光纤平行粘于金属样品表面,光纤端部裸露,关闭加压舱,注满水;
4)启动换能器的驱动装置,连接高速摄像系统,设置其与功率源输出同步;
5)通过光纤水听器进行声场和频率扫描,确定焦点的位置及超声换能器的最佳工作频率,进一步调整样品的位置使得焦点位于其表面,然后,调节高速摄像镜头的焦距至最佳拍摄状态;
6)在一定的静水压力和驱动功率下对金属表面进行空化处理,通过高速摄像拍摄金属的空蚀过程;
7)观察金属的表面损伤形貌,并对其特征进行定性和定量分析,结合金属的物理性质研究金属在超声辐照过程中的损伤机理,以此评价其力学性能。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:步骤2)中,所述金属选自金、银、铜、钨、钼、镍、钛、锡、铝、不锈钢或者其合金中的至少一种。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:步骤2)中,所述金属薄片样品的厚度范围为0.5~5mm,包括边界值;优选地,所述金属薄片样品的厚度为1-5mm,包括边界值;更优选地,所述金属薄片样品的厚度为1-2mm,包括边界值。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:步骤2)中,先对金属样品表面打磨,再进行电解抛光;
和/或,步骤3)中,先对光纤端部表面质量及测量系统进行校准,再将光纤粘于金属表面。
5.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:步骤5)中,高速摄像的帧频范围为1000-500000fps。
6.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:步骤6)中,静水压力为0.1-10MPa,驱动功率为500-10000W。
7.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:步骤7)中,从宏观和微观的角度观察金属的表面形貌改变,并对其特征进行定性和定量分析。
8.一种用于金属力学性能评价的装置,其特征在于:包括超声换能器以及位于所述超声换能器内的工装,所述工装上固定有金属薄片样品,所述金属薄片样品表面粘有光纤,所述加压舱的窗口设有用于拍摄金属薄片空蚀过程的高速摄像系统。
9.根据权利要求8所述的装置,其特征在于:还包括增压装置,用于提高加压舱内介质水的静压力,所述超声换能器位于所述加压舱内。
10.根据权利要求8所述的装置,其特征在于:所述加压舱内的介质水经脱气装置脱气处理,脱气装置用于降低水中的含氧量,并确保每次实验介质水的氧容量相同,所述光纤与光纤水听器连接;还包括用于控制所述工装移动的运动装置,以及用于驱动换能器的驱动装置。
