The detecting element comprises a singlechip and a plurality of sensors 15, wherein the sensors 15 are arranged in the optical disc placing groove 11 at equal horizontal intervals. The signal input end of the singlechip is respectively connected with each sensor 15, and the output end of the singlechip is connected with a working indicator lamp 19. The operation indicator lamp 19 is mounted on the panel 13. I.e. when the disc is placed flat, the operation indicator light 19 is green, whereas when it is non-flat, the operation indicator light 19 is red and the optical disc drive plate 2 is automatically ejected out of the optical disc drive chamber 5.
