Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for displaying a video list, which can be realized by a set top box and a background server together and can be realized by the assistance of a digital television. A particular scenario may be as shown in fig. 1, where a set-top box may be used to receive a digital signal of a video program and convert it to television content for display on a digital television. The background server can be a background server of the digital television and is used for summarizing a large number of video programs and transmitting the video data of the video programs to the set top box in the form of digital signals. The background server can serve a plurality of set top boxes and can send different data information to different set top boxes according to the operation of a user on the set top box side, wherein the data information can comprise a program menu, a video list, video data and the like. The set-top box and the background server can be respectively provided with a processor, a memory and a transceiver, wherein the processor can be used for processing the process of displaying the video list, the memory can be used for storing data required in the following processing process and generated data, and the transceiver can be used for receiving and sending interactive data among devices in the following process.
The process flow shown in fig. 2 will be described in detail below with reference to the specific embodiments, and the contents may be as follows:
The rule selection interface comprises at least one icon corresponding to the video filtering rule.
In implementation, a technician of the background server may pre-define a classification standard of video programs, so as to divide all video programs acquired in the background server into a plurality of program menus, where each program menu may correspond to a default filtering rule, and all video programs in a video list of a program menu meet the corresponding default filtering rule. Meanwhile, each program menu can also maintain a rule selection interface, and the rule selection interface comprises at least one icon corresponding to the video filtering rule. Here, the video filtering rule is an additional more refined filtering rule independent of the default filtering rule for further filtering the video programs in the video list of the program menu.
The at least one video filtering rule may be preset by a technician and an icon may be manually added in the rule selection interface. For example, for a tv series program menu, the default filtering rule is to filter out video programs of all tv series, and the rule selection interface may include icons corresponding to the video programs for filtering out specific showing times (e.g. 2016 and 2017), and may further include icons corresponding to the video programs for filtering out the areas (e.g. inland, port, europe and america), which may be specifically shown in fig. 3. It should be noted that the same rule selection interface may be maintained for a plurality of program menus, and different rule selection interfaces may also be maintained for a plurality of program menus, that is, in the rule selection interfaces of different program menus, the icons corresponding to the included video filtering rules may be the same or different, and may specifically be set by a technician at the background server.
Therefore, when the set top box displays a video list of a certain program menu (such as a target program menu) through the digital television, a rule selection interface of the target program menu can be displayed in a preset area, and the rule selection interface can comprise at least one icon corresponding to a video filtering rule.
In implementation, after the set-top box displays the video list of the target program menu and the rule selection interface through the digital television, if a user wants to perform further filtering and screening on the video programs in the video list according to a certain video filtering rule (such as a target video filtering rule), the user may select a corresponding icon (i.e., a target icon) in the rule selection interface through a remote controller of the digital television. At this time, the set top box may receive a selection instruction of the target icon input by the user, so as to obtain a target video filtering rule corresponding to the locally stored target icon and a target default filtering rule corresponding to the target program menu, and then send the target video filtering rule and the target default filtering rule to the background server.
It is worth mentioning that in this step, the user can select a plurality of target icons at the same time, and the set-top box can send all the target video filtering rules corresponding to the plurality of target icons to the background server. For example, the user may choose to filter the video programs in the video list based on the showing time or the region to which the user belongs, or may choose to filter the video programs in the video list based on the showing time and the region to which the user belongs. It can be understood that the video filtering rule corresponding to the icon in the rule selection interface may be a forward selection rule, for example, after the corresponding icon is selected, the filtered video program conforms to the corresponding video filtering rule, or a reverse selection rule, for example, after the corresponding icon is selected, the filtered video program does not conform to the corresponding video filtering rule.
And 203, filtering the acquired video programs by the background server according to the target video filtering rule and the target default filtering rule to generate a target video list.
In implementation, after receiving the target video filtering rule and the target default filtering rule sent by the set top box, the background server may filter all the acquired video programs based on the target video filtering rule and the target default filtering rule, so as to generate a target video list. Specifically, the background server may first merge the target default filtering rule and the target video filtering rule to obtain the final video filtering rule at this time, then filter all video programs according to the video filtering rule, and uniformly record the filtered video programs in the target video list.
And step 204, the background server sends the target video list to the set-top box so that the set-top box displays the target video list through the digital television.
In implementation, after the background server generates the target video list, the target video list may be sent to the corresponding set-top box. Therefore, after receiving the target video list, the set top box can display the target video list on a screen of the digital television.
Optionally, the set-top box may determine whether to display the rule selection interface according to the number of video programs in the video list, and the corresponding processing may be as follows: and if the number of the video programs contained in the target video list is larger than a preset value, the set top box displays the target video list and a rule selection interface of a target program menu through the digital television.
In an implementation, after receiving the target video list, the set-top box may determine the number of video programs included in the target video list. If the number of the video programs is smaller than the preset value, it can be considered that the user does not need to further filter and screen the video programs in the target video list, so that a rule selection interface of a target program menu does not need to be displayed. If the number of the video programs is larger than the preset value, the user is likely to filter and screen the video programs in the target video list again, so that the set top box can simultaneously display the target video list and the rule selection interface of the target program menu through the digital television.
The embodiment also provides a method flow for selecting a program menu, as shown in fig. 4, specific contents may be as follows:
In implementation, after the set-top box is started, a plurality of program menus provided by the background server can be displayed through the digital television.
In implementation, when the set-top box displays a plurality of program menus through the digital television, a user may select one program menu (e.g., a target program menu) from the plurality of program menus through a remote controller of the digital television, so that the set-top box may receive a selection instruction of the target program menu input by the user. And then, the set top box can acquire a target default filtering rule corresponding to a locally stored target program menu, and then sends the target default filtering rule to the background server.
In step 403, the background server filters the acquired video program according to the target default filtering rule, and generates a video list of the target program menu.
In implementation, the background server may receive a target default filtering rule corresponding to a target program menu sent by the set top box, and then, the background server may filter all currently acquired video programs according to the target default filtering rule, so as to generate a video list of the target program menu.
In implementation, the background server may send the video list of the target program menu to the set-top box after generating the video list. Furthermore, the set top box can display the received video list of the target program menu and the rule selection interface of the locally stored target program menu through the digital television.
Optionally, this embodiment further provides a method flow for the set top box to obtain a default filtering rule and a rule selection interface of the program menu, and the specific processing may be as shown in fig. 5:
In implementation, the video program information may be updated from the backend server after each reboot of the set-top box. Therefore, after the set-top box is restarted, the acquisition request of the program menu can be sent to the background server.
In implementation, technicians of the background server may preset default filtering rules and rule selection interfaces for each program menu, and store the video filtering rules corresponding to each icon in the default filtering rules and rule selection interfaces in the form of rule corresponding items in the database.
Specifically, the background server may maintain a plurality of classification forms, each classification form corresponds to a classification manner of a video program, and each classification manner corresponds to a plurality of category sets, for example, the classification form may include a program form, a definition form, a region form to which the classification form belongs, a showing time form, and the like, and the program form is taken as an example and corresponds to a plurality of category sets such as a tv show, a movie, and a variety program. Each classification form and each category set are respectively associated with a unique ID (identification), and each program menu is also associated with a unique ID, so that the rule corresponding item can be the corresponding relationship between the ID of the program menu and the ID of the classification form, and the ID of the category set. In this way, after receiving the program menu acquisition request sent by the set-top box, the background server can generate the default filtering rules and the rule selection interfaces of a plurality of program menus according to the rule corresponding items of each pre-stored program menu.
In an implementation, the backend server may send the generated default filtering rules and rule selection interface for the plurality of program menus to the set-top box. The set top box may store the default filter rules and rule selection interfaces for the plurality of program menus locally after receiving them. The background server does not need to store default filtering rules and rule selection interfaces of a plurality of program menus, and the subsequent set top box can provide locally stored contents for the background server in the process of acquiring the video list, so that the data storage space of the background server can be saved.
Optionally, this embodiment further provides a method flow for performing multiple filtering on a video program, and the specific processing may be as shown in fig. 6:
In implementation, after the set-top box displays the target video list and the rule selection interface of the target program menu through the digital television, if a user wants to perform further filtering and screening on the video programs in the target video list, an icon (e.g., a feature icon) corresponding to a corresponding video filtering rule may be selected in the rule selection interface. In this way, the set top box can receive a selection instruction of the feature icon input by the user, so that the set top box can send the locally stored target video filtering rule, the locally stored target default filtering rule and the feature video filtering rule corresponding to the feature icon to the background server.
In step 602, the background server filters the acquired video program according to the target video filtering rule, the target default filtering rule and the feature video filtering rule to generate a feature video list.
In implementation, after receiving the target video filtering rule, the target default filtering rule and the feature video filtering rule sent by the set top box, the background server may filter all video programs that have been currently acquired based on the filtering rules, so as to generate a feature video list.
In implementation, after the background server generates the feature video list, the feature video list may be sent to a corresponding set top box. Therefore, after receiving the characteristic video list, the set top box can display the characteristic video list on the screen of the digital television.
In the embodiment of the invention, a set top box displays a video list and a rule selection interface of a target program menu through a digital television, the rule selection interface comprises at least one icon corresponding to a video filtering rule, after receiving a selection instruction of the target icon input by a user, the set top box sends the target video filtering rule corresponding to the locally stored target icon and a target default filtering rule corresponding to the target program menu to a background server, the background server filters the acquired video program according to the target video filtering rule and the target default filtering rule to generate a target video list, and the background server sends the target video list to the set top box so that the set top box displays the target video list through the digital television. Therefore, when searching for the video program, the user can continue to select a certain video filtering rule after determining the program menu, so that the background server filters the video program in the program menu based on the video filtering rule, the searching range of the video program is greatly reduced, and the efficiency of searching for the video program can be improved.
