영상 콘텐츠에 대한 사용자의 선택을 위한 단계별 메뉴를 포함하는 영상 콘텐츠 제공 서버가 수행하는 제어방법에 있어서,
(a) 시청자가 시청한 영상 콘텐츠 정보를 포함하는 시청 이력을 확인하는 단계와;
(b) 상기 (a) 단계에서 확인한 시청자 이력을 참고하여 특정 바로 가기 링크를 생성하는 단계와;
(c) 상기 (b) 단계에서 생성된 특정 바로 가기 링크가 영상 콘텐츠 시청을 위한 홈 화면상에 동적으로 배치되도록 제어하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 (b) 단계는,
(b1) 상기 (a) 단계에서 확인한 시청자 이력을 참고하여 시청자의 시청 영상 콘텐츠를 복수 개 확인하는 단계와;
(b2) 상기 (b1) 단계에서 확인한 복수 개의 시청 영상 콘텐츠들이 서로 다른 상위 메뉴에 속하는 경우, 그 서로 다른 상위 메뉴를 하위 메뉴로 갖는 공통된 차상위 단계의 메뉴를 판단하는 단계와;
