Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. The following description of at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative in nature and is in no way intended to limit the invention, its application, or uses. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
After the inventor analyzes the information, it is found that, in the existing protocol, the frequency priority is issued to the terminal through an RRC Connection Release (Radio Resource Control, RRC) message. The existing protocol does not consider the application scenario that multiple operators share the carrier. In an application scenario of a multi-operator shared carrier, if a terminal entering a multi-carrier shared area does not perform RRC (Radio Resource Control) connection release, the terminal cannot acquire frequency priority information of a base station of the multi-carrier shared area where the terminal is currently located, which causes a situation that the terminal cannot return to a carrier of an operator to which the terminal belongs, and further causes problems of terminal reselection, paging, handover failure, and the like.
Therefore, the inventor proposes a technical solution of the present invention, which can update the frequency priority information of the base station in the multi-carrier shared area in time, regardless of whether RRC connection release is performed, for a terminal entering the multi-carrier shared area, especially for a terminal entering the multi-carrier shared area from an area of an independent base station that carries only one carrier of an operator.
A frequency priority information processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 1.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a frequency priority information processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S102, the base station sends a system message to the terminal in the multi-carrier sharing area, wherein the system message comprises the frequency priority information of the base station.
The base station is a base station in a multi-carrier sharing area, namely a base station for RAN resource sharing among operators.
The frequency priority information may be, for example, a multi-operator frequency specific priority list.
The System message is a message that can be received regardless of whether the terminal performs RRC Connection Release, and may be, for example, an SIB (System Information Block) message. Therefore, the terminal in the multi-carrier sharing area can acquire the frequency priority information from the system message no matter whether the terminal receives the frequency priority information in the RRC Connection Release message or not.
Step S104, the terminal entering the multi-carrier sharing area receives the system message sent by the base station of the multi-carrier sharing area.
After entering the multi-carrier sharing zone, the terminal which does not perform the radio resource control connection release may also receive the system message.
Step S106, the terminal stores the frequency priority information.
The terminal may update locally existing frequency priority information, for example, according to the received frequency priority information.
The base station is adopted to send the system message comprising the frequency priority information of the base station to the terminal entering the multi-carrier sharing area, so that the terminal can timely receive and update the frequency priority information of the base station, the terminal can timely return to the carrier of an operator to which the terminal belongs, and the communication quality and the communication experience are improved.
A frequency priority information processing method according to another embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of another embodiment of a frequency priority information processing method according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S202, the base station of the multi-carrier sharing area reads the frequency priority information of the base station.
For example, the base station may read the frequency priority information of the base station through a multi-operator PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) frequency-specific priority storage module.
Step S204, the base station encapsulates the frequency priority information of the base station in SIB message.
Step S206, the base station broadcasts the SIB message after encapsulation.
Step S208, the terminal entering the multi-carrier sharing area monitors the broadcast sent by the base station of the multi-carrier sharing area.
Step S210, the terminal acquires the SIB message sent by the base station.
In step S212, the terminal extracts the frequency priority information in the SIB message.
In step S214, the terminal stores the frequency priority information.
The terminal can timely acquire the frequency priority information of the base station of the multi-carrier sharing area by monitoring the SIB message sent by the base station, so that the frequency priority information can be timely updated, and the terminal can timely return to the carrier of the operator to which the terminal belongs.
