Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. The following description of at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative in nature and is in no way intended to limit the invention, its application, or uses. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
After the analysis, the inventor finds that the frequency priority is issued to the terminal through an RRC Connection Release message, and is discarded under certain conditions, for example, when the T320 timer is overtime. If the terminal loses the frequency priority information after entering the multi-carrier sharing area, the terminal adopts the default priority to select the frequency. However, the default priority of the terminal is not suitable for an application scenario in which multiple operators share carriers, which may cause that the terminal may not reselect the carrier that returns to its own operator, and further cause problems such as terminal reselection, paging, and handover failure.
Therefore, the inventor proposes a frequency priority information processing method, which enables a terminal not to discard frequency priority information when the terminal is in a multi-carrier shared region, so that the terminal resides on a carrier of an operator to which the terminal belongs.
A frequency priority information processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 1.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a frequency priority information processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S102, the terminal receives RRC Connection Release message sent by the base station, and the RRC Connection Release message comprises the multi-carrier sharing station information of the base station.
The multicarrier shared station information may be TA (Tracking Area) information, for example, identification information such as a Tracking Area code. In addition, other information for identifying the multicarrier shared area and the base station may be used.
And step S104, the terminal compares the multi-carrier sharing station information of the base station with the multi-carrier sharing station information acquired by the terminal in advance.
The terminal may obtain the information of the multi-carrier sharing station in advance through a conventional signaling interaction procedure. For example, the terminal may acquire the information when the terminal is located at the boundary of the coverage area of the base station during paging, or may acquire the information through periodic update, and store the information of the multicarrier sharing station in the terminal after the acquisition.
Therefore, the terminal can determine the current position of the terminal through the pre-acquired multi-carrier sharing station information, and then determine the base station to which the terminal is connected before RRC connection release through the multi-carrier sharing station information of the base station, so as to judge whether the terminal is still in the multi-carrier sharing area.
Step S106, if the multi-carrier sharing station information of the base station is consistent with the multi-carrier sharing station information acquired by the terminal in advance, the terminal resides on the carrier of the operator to which the terminal belongs by not discarding the frequency priority information.
The frequency priority information may be, for example, a multi-operator frequency-specific priority list.
Wherein, the terminal can implement not to discard the frequency priority information by closing the timeout operation of the T320 timer. The T320 timer is an LTE timer, and when the T320 timer starts, stops, and times out, the terminal is triggered to perform corresponding operations. When the T320 timer expires, the terminal discards the frequency priority information. Therefore, by closing the timeout operation of the T320 timer, the frequency priority information of the terminal can be retained, and the terminal can be further retained on the carrier of the operator to which the terminal belongs.
If the information of the multi-carrier sharing station of the base station is consistent with the information of the multi-carrier sharing station of the terminal, the terminal is still in the multi-carrier sharing area, and the frequency priority information acquired before can be used.
The terminal is adopted to judge whether the terminal is located in a multi-carrier sharing area currently according to the multi-carrier sharing station information in the received radio resource control connection release message, and the frequency priority information is not discarded when the terminal is located in the multi-carrier sharing area, so that the terminal can reside on the carrier of an operator to which the terminal belongs, and the communication quality and the communication experience of a user are improved.
A frequency priority information processing method according to another embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of another embodiment of a frequency priority information processing method according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S202, the base station acquires TA information of the base station.
For example, the base station may read the TA information from a module that stores the TA information.
Step S204, the base station generates an RRC Connection Release message and packages the TA information into the RRC Connection Release message.
Step S206, the base station modulates and sends the encapsulated RRC Connection Release message.
Step S208, the terminal carries out carrier sense demodulation on the information sent by the base station to obtain RRC Connection Release message.
Step S210, the terminal analyzes the RRC Connection Release message and extracts the TA information therein.
Step S212, the terminal compares whether the TA information extracted from the RRC Connection Release message is consistent with the TA information acquired by the terminal in advance.
In step S214, if the TA information extracted from the RRC Connection Release message is consistent with the TA information acquired by the terminal in advance, the terminal closes the timeout operation of the T320 timer.
By adopting the method, the base station can package the TA information in the RRC Connection Release message and issue the TA information, so that the terminal can close the overtime operation of the T320 timer when confirming that the terminal is still in the multi-carrier sharing zone, and the frequency priority information is not discarded, thereby the terminal can reside on the carrier of the operator to which the terminal belongs.
