Description

Application icon management method and device and terminal
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of terminal technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for managing application icons and a terminal.
Background
At present, the functions of the intelligent terminal are more and more powerful, and the daily life of people is more and more enriched by the application of the intelligent terminal. The terminal is provided with a self-contained application market, a user can download an installation package of a required application to the local terminal through the application market, further, the application installation package downloaded to the local terminal can be automatically installed, relevant information of the application can be stored in a mobile phone database or a configuration file, and finally, an application icon of the application is placed at the end of all icons on a desktop. However, as the number of applications downloaded by users is increased and the types of applications are enriched, the effective management of desktop icons becomes a concern for users.
In the prior art, a method for creating a folder for an application is provided, and specifically, after a user downloads an application, regardless of which folder the user previously placed the application of the type in, a system automatically creates a new folder for the application, places an application icon corresponding to the application in the new folder, and simultaneously places the application icon corresponding to the application at the end of all icons on a desktop. In addition, the appearance of the new folder created by the method is different from the style of the folder of the current system, and relevant application recommendation information can appear after the new file is clicked.
It can be known that, with the above method, a user may not need to create a new folder for a newly installed application, add application icons corresponding to the application at two places, occupy desktop space, and make the desktop cluttered due to different folder styles. Furthermore, the above method does not take into account the user's habit of classifying application icons, or even provide the user with an opportunity to choose whether to approve the creation of a new folder. For example, the user installs a game A and the user previously placed the application icons for all game categories in the "entertainment" folder, however, using the method described above, the system will automatically create a new folder for game A and name the new folder as "game" with a large amount of game recommendation information contained therein. The user needs to move the application icon of the game A to the entertainment folder according to the icon management habit of the user, and delete the newly-built game folder. Therefore, creating a new folder for installing an application does not enable efficient management of desktop icons, and also increases the complexity of desktop icon management for the user.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The embodiment of the invention provides a management method and device of application icons and a terminal, which are used for effectively classifying the application icons of an application according to user habits after the application is installed. The method and the device are based on the same inventive concept, and because the principles of solving the problems of the method and the device are similar, the implementation of the device and the method can be mutually referred, and repeated parts are not repeated.
Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, the present invention provides a method for managing application icons, which includes the following specific steps:
step 100: the terminal downloads the installation package of the first application and determines the application category of the first application.
The application category is the type of application, for example, the application category of happy xiao le is a game, and the application category of youku is a video. The application category of each application is determined when the application is uploaded to the application market, for example, when an application developer uploads an Android Package (APK), the application category is labeled. Or after downloading the installation package of the first application, the terminal performs semantic analysis on the installation package to acquire the application category of the first application. When downloading an installation package of an application, the terminal obtains the application type of the application at the same time.
Specifically, the application category may be that the terminal obtains semantic feature values via semantic analysis. Semantic features are understood to be the subdivision of a semantic class from a certain angle, so that words originally belonging to the same semantic class may take different values on certain or some semantic features, thereby highlighting the differences between these words. The value taken on the certain semantic feature or features is a feature value that indicates a semantic feature of the application program. For example, if the semantic feature value of the first application is "city", "place name", "sight spot", the APP category may be "map category", for example, corresponding to "Baidu map" application; if the semantic feature value of the first application is "travel", the APP category may be "travel", for example, corresponding to "where to go" application; if the semantic feature value of the first application is "accommodation", the APP category may be "hotel category", such as "hotel-in-bloom" application; if the semantic feature value of the first application is "weather, temperature", then the APP category may be "weather", e.g., corresponding to an "ink weather" application. If the semantic feature value is "electronic product (mobile phone, tablet, computer)", the APP category may be "e-commerce", and the specific APP may be "jingdong", "naobao", or the like.
Step 110: the terminal installs a first application, and determines a path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application according to the corresponding relation between the application category and the path identifier, wherein the path identifier set comprises at least one path identifier.
The storage folder where the application icon is located on the terminal display interface is a path, and in the internal code presentation, the storage folder can be a hierarchical structure. The path identifier is an identifier of a folder on the desktop, each folder at least comprises two application icons, and the path identifier set comprises an identifier of at least one folder.
When the terminal leaves the factory, the corresponding relationship between the application categories and the path identifiers may be preset in the terminal, where if the terminal does not pre-install the application, the preset information of the corresponding relationship between the application categories and the path identifiers only includes all the application categories, but the path identifier corresponding to each application category is empty, as shown in table 1. If the terminal is pre-installed with a certain number of applications, the preset information of the correspondence between the application categories and the path identifiers includes all the application categories and at least one path identifier corresponding to the application category of each pre-installed application, and at this time, path identifiers corresponding to part of the application categories may still be empty.
In addition, when the application category of the application is changed or newly added in the application market, the terminal modifies or adds the application category correspondingly in the corresponding relationship between the application category and the path identifier.

Therefore, after the terminal has installed the selected application a in a short time when the terminal is first applied when leaving a factory or just starts to use the terminal, it may not be possible to determine the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application a according to the correspondence between the application category and the path identifier, and at this time, the terminal defaults to place the application icon corresponding to the application a at the end of all icons on the desktop.
The application icon management method provided by the invention mainly aims at effectively classifying and managing the application icons when the corresponding relation between the application categories and the path identifiers is not empty after the terminal is used for a period of time or when at least one corresponding path identifier exists in most of the application categories.
Specifically, the terminal installs an application a whose application type is video, and the terminal can determine, according to table 2, that the path identifier sets corresponding to the application types which are video are 4 and 5. The terminal is provided with an application B with the application type of mother and infant, the terminal can determine according to the table 2 that the path identifier set corresponding to the application type of mother and infant is 2.

In addition, after the terminal installs the first application, before determining the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application according to the corresponding relationship between the application category and the path identifier, the terminal generates basic information of the first application according to the application name of the first application and the application category of the first application. Optionally, the terminal determines an application category number corresponding to the application category of the first application according to the total number of the applications installed by the terminal, and adds the number of the first application and the application category number of the first application to the basic information of the first application.
For example, if the terminal downloads and installs the odds art application, which is the 16 th application installed by the terminal, the application number of the application is 16, and as can be seen from table 2, the application category number of the video application category is 5, and the application number 16, the application name odds art of the application, and the application category number 5 of the application generate basic information of the application, which is shown in the last line of table 3.

Step 120: the terminal determines a target path identifier from the path identifier set, and places the application icon of the first application into a target path corresponding to the target path identifier.
Specifically, the terminal may determine the target path identifier by using, but not limited to, the following three ways:
firstly, the terminal determines that the path identifier set only comprises one path identifier, and takes the path identifier as a target path identifier.
For example, the terminal downloads and installs an application with an application category of mother and infant, and as can be seen from table 2, the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of mother and infant is 2. At this time, the terminal determines the path identifier 2 as the target path identifier.
Secondly, the terminal determines that the path identifier set comprises at least two path identifiers, and selects one path identifier from the at least two path identifiers as a target path identifier according to the received selected instruction.
For example, the terminal downloads an application with a video application category, and as can be seen from table 2, the path identifier sets corresponding to the video application category are 4 and 5. At the moment, the terminal presents the two options to the user, the user selects one path identifier, and the terminal receives a selection instruction to determine a target path identifier.
Thirdly, when the terminal determines that the path identifier set comprises at least two path identifiers, screening out at least one path identifier meeting preset conditions from the path identifier set, if one path identifier is screened out, taking the path identifier as a target path identifier, and if at least two path identifiers are screened out, selecting one path identifier from the at least two path identifiers as a target path identifier according to the received selected instruction.
For example, the preset condition may be that the total number of application icons of one application category in one path is greater than a set threshold. Specifically, the terminal downloads and installs an application with an application category of game, and as can be seen from table 2, the set of path identifiers corresponding to the application categories of the game is 1, 3, and 6, at this time, the terminal determines that the number of application icons with the application categories of the game in the path of the path identifier 1 is 2, the number of application icons with the application categories of the game in the path of the path identifier 3 is 7, the number of application icons with the application categories of the game in the path identifier 6 is 4, if the set threshold is 5, the terminal determines that the number of application icons with the application categories of the game in the path identifier 3 is greater than the set threshold, and the path identifier 3 is the target path identifier; if the threshold value is set to be 3, the terminal determines that both the path identifier 3 and the path identifier 6 meet the condition, at this time, the terminal presents the two options to the user, the user selects one path identifier, and the terminal receives the selected instruction to determine the target path identifier.
For another example, the preset condition may be that a ratio of the total number of the application icons of one application category in one path to the total number of the application icons in the path is greater than a set threshold. Specifically, as can be seen from table 2, the path identifier sets corresponding to the application categories of the games are 1, 3, and 6, at this time, the terminal determines that the total number of the application icons in the path of the path identifier 1 is 3, the application icons of the application categories of the games are 2, the ratio is 66%, the total number of the application icons in the path of the path identifier 3 is 10, the application icons of the application categories of the games are 7, the ratio is 70%, the total number of the application icons in the path of the path identifier 6 is 12, the application icons of the application categories of the games are 4, the ratio is 33%, if the set threshold is 50%, the terminal filters out that both the path identifier 1 and the path identifier 3 meet the condition, at this time, the terminal presents the two options to the user, the user selects one path identifier, and the terminal receives the selection instruction to determine the target path identifier.
Further, after the terminal determines a target path identifier from the path identifier set, the target path identifier is added to the basic information of the first application.
Still taking the last row of the legend art application in table 3 as an example, assuming that the terminal determines that the target path identifier of the application is 4, the target path identifier 4 is added to the application information of the application. See table 4 for the last line.

The terminal puts the application icon corresponding to the application into the target path corresponding to the target path identifier, specifically, the terminal determines the path name corresponding to the target path identifier according to the corresponding relationship between the path identifier and the path name, and puts the application icon corresponding to the application into the path corresponding to the path name.
For example, referring to table 5, still taking the aforementioned application curiosity as an example, the target path of the application is identified as 4, and according to table 5, the path name corresponding to the path identifier 4 is called desktop/entertainment, so the application icon corresponding to the application is placed in the path corresponding to the desktop/entertainment.

Further, after the terminal puts the application icon corresponding to the application into the target path corresponding to the target path identifier, a prompt message is displayed on the desktop to notify the user that the application icon corresponding to the application has been put into the target path corresponding to the target path identifier, and all application icons (including the application icon corresponding to the application) in the path corresponding to the target path are displayed.
In addition, the embodiment of the invention also provides a method for maintaining the basic information of the application, the corresponding relation between the application category and the path identifier and the corresponding relation between the path identifier and the path name by the terminal after the existing application icon of the user is operated. The following describes the maintenance process of the terminal for the above information by listing three specific scenarios.
In a first scenario, when the terminal determines that the application icon of the first application is moved from the target path to the first path, the terminal needs to specifically execute the following operations:
and the terminal changes the target path identifier in the basic information of the first application into the path identifier of the first path.
Specifically, when it is determined that the application icon corresponding to the application a is moved from the first path to the second path, the terminal modifies the path identifier of the first path in the basic information of the application a to the path identifier of the second path.
For example, the user moves the application a from the entertainment folder (path identification of the first path is 4) to the game folder (path identification of the second path is 3), and at this time, the terminal modifies the path identification of 3 in the basic information of the application a.
When the terminal determines that the application icon of the first application is moved from the target path to the first path, two specific situations need to be distinguished specifically:
in the first situation, when the terminal determines that the target path at least comprises three application icons and the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application comprises the target path identifier, the terminal queries basic information respectively corresponding to the remaining applications in the target path, and when the terminal determines that the application with the same application category as the first application exists in the target path according to the basic information respectively corresponding to the remaining applications in the target path, the terminal reserves the target path identifier as one path identifier in the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application. The remaining applications here refer to applications in the target path other than the first application.
Optionally, before the target path identifier is kept to continue to serve as one path identifier in the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application, the terminal further needs to determine that the preset parameter of the first application set is higher than a first threshold, where the first application set is a set of all applications in the target path that are the same as the application category of the first application after the application icon of the first application moves out of the target path.
For example, a user moves an application a from an entertainment folder (a path identifier of a first path is 4) to a game folder (a path identifier of a second path is 3), the entertainment folder includes five application icons, at this time, when the terminal determines that a path identifier set corresponding to an application category of the application a includes the path identifier 4 of the first path, the terminal determines that the first path includes applications of the same application category as the application a by querying basic information respectively corresponding to remaining applications in the first path, and the terminal reserves the path identifier 4 of the first path to continue to serve as one path identifier in the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application a. This is done to ensure the validity and accuracy of the correspondence of application categories to path identifications. For another example, the application category of the application a is a game, and after the application a moves out of the first path, basic information corresponding to the remaining applications in the first path is queried, and it is determined that there is no application in the first path that is the same as the application category of the application a, that is, the application whose application category is the game is no longer included in the first path, then the application category is the path identifier of the first path that should not be included in the path identifier set corresponding to the game.
In addition, before the terminal reserves the path identifier of the first path to continue to serve as the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application a, it may also be determined whether the preset parameter of the first application set corresponding to the application a is higher than a first threshold, and then it is determined whether the path identifier of the first path is reserved.
For example, the application type of the application a is a game, the total number of all applications in the first path that is the same as the application type of the application a is 4, that is, the first application set includes the total number of applications of 4, and assuming that the total number of game applications installed in the terminal is 10, if the preset parameter of the first application set is the percentage of the total number of applications in the game type in the path in the total number of applications in all game types, and the first threshold value is 30%, then the percentage is 40% and is greater than 30%, and then the path identifier of the first path is retained.
In the second case, the terminal determines that the application icon of the first application is moved from the target path into the first path, the target path includes two application icons, the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application includes the target path identifier, and the terminal deletes the target path identifier from the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application.
It should be noted that the terminal operating system in the embodiment of the present invention provides that at least two application icons are stored in a path (except for the desktop), and when the number of application icons is less than two, the path does not exist. Of course, the method mentioned in the embodiment of the present invention may also be applied to a terminal operating system in which at least one application icon is stored in one path. Various modifications and alterations of this embodiment may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of this embodiment. Thus, if such modifications and variations of the embodiments of the present invention fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention and their equivalents, the present invention is also intended to encompass such modifications and variations.
For example, the user moves the application a from the entertainment folder (path identifier of the first path is 4) to the game folder (path identifier of the second path is 3), the entertainment folder only contains two application icons, when the application a moves out of the entertainment folder, the folder does not exist, and at this time, the terminal deletes the path identifier 4 of the first path and the path name (entertainment folder) of the first path from the corresponding relationship between the path identifier and the path name. And when the terminal determines that the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application A contains the path identifier 4 of the first path, deleting the path identifier 4 of the first path.
Further, the first path includes the last two application icons, which respectively correspond to the application icon of the application a and the application icon of the application B, when the application a moves out of the first path, the path does not exist, the path of the application B is automatically changed to the desktop path, the terminal modifies the path identifier of the first path in the basic information of the application B to the desktop path identifier, and deletes the path identifier of the first path when determining that the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application B includes the path identifier of the first path.
For the two situations, the terminal determines that the application icon of the first application is moved from the target path into the first path, the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application does not contain the path identifier of the first path, and the terminal adds the path identifier of the first path into the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application.
Optionally, before adding the path identifier of the first path into the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application, the terminal determines that the preset parameter of the second application set is higher than the second threshold, where the second application set is a set of all applications in the first path that have the same application category as the first application after the application icon of the first application is moved into the first path.
For example, when the user moves the application a from the entertainment folder (the path identifier of the first path is 4) to the game folder (the path identifier of the second path is 3) and determines that the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application a does not include the path identifier 3 of the second path, the user adds the path identifier 3 of the second path to the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application a. Optionally, before adding the path identifier 3 of the second path to the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application a, the terminal determines that the preset parameter of the second application set is higher than a second threshold, specifically, the application category of the application a is a game, and if the preset parameter of the second application set is a percentage of the total number of the game-category applications in the path to the total number of all the game-category applications, and the second threshold is 40%, the path identifier of the second path is added. If the second path is moved to the application A and then comprises 2 games, the total number of the games installed on the terminal is 10, and the occupation ratio is not satisfied to be more than 40%, the path identifier of the second path is not added; and if the second path comprises 5 games after the application A is moved into the second path, the total number of the games installed on the terminal is 10, and the occupation ratio is more than 40%, adding the path identifier of the second path.
In a second scenario, the terminal is further equipped with a second application and a third application, where an application icon of the second application and an application icon of the third application are both located on a display interface of the terminal, the terminal obtains a first preset instruction input by a user, and places the application icon of the second application and the application icon of the third application into a newly-built path, and the terminal further needs to specifically execute the following operations:
the display interface here refers to the display screen of the terminal, i.e. the desktop of the terminal. The terminal modifies the desktop path identifier in the basic information of the second application into a path identifier of the newly-built path; and modifying the desktop path identifier in the basic information of the third application into the path identifier of the newly-built path.
And the terminal adds the path identifier of the newly-built path in the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the second application and adds the path identifier of the newly-built path in the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the third application.
Further, the terminal determines that the application category of the first application is the same as that of the second application, and names the new path by using the application categories of the first application and the second application.
The desktop path identifier refers to path identifiers of paths in which the second application and the third application are located before the second application and the third application are moved into a newly-built path, and the newly-built path is a path which is newly built by the terminal according to a first preset instruction input by the user and used for placing an application icon of the second application and an application icon of the third application. The first preset instruction is an operation that a user needs to execute when two application icons preset by the terminal system are placed in a newly-built path.
After the terminal puts the application icon of the second application and the application icon of the third application into a newly-built path, the terminal presents all the application icons in the newly-built path for a user, namely the application icon corresponding to the first application and the application icon corresponding to the second application, and the path name of the new path is in an editable state.
For example, the applications of the mother-infant family and the parent-infant are of the same application category, and are both mother-infant and infant, and the application icons of the both are on the desktop, as shown in tables 6 and 7. When the two paths are put together into a new path, the path identifier 5 is allocated to the new path according to the total number of the existing paths, and the path identifier of the new path and the path name of the new path are correspondingly stored in the corresponding relationship between the path identifier and the path name, as shown in table 9. Since the application categories of the mother-infant family and the parent-infant are the same, the new path is named as the mother-infant. Further, referring to table 8, in the corresponding relationship between the application type and the path identifier, since the application types of the two applications of the mother and baby family and the parent baby are the same, the desktop path is moved out, and no other applications of the mother and baby class exist on the desktop, at this time, the path identifier 5 of the new path is added. Here, the first application scenario processing method may be referred to for whether the two applications are transferred from the desktop path to the newly-built path for mother and infant, whether the desktop path needs to be reserved as one of the path identifier sets corresponding to the mother and infant categories, and whether the path identifier of the newly-built path is added as one of the path identifier sets corresponding to the mother and infant categories.

In a third application scenario, when the terminal determines that any application is deleted, the terminal needs to specifically execute the following operations:
and the terminal acquires a second preset instruction input by the user to delete the basic information of the first application. The second preset instruction refers to an operation that needs to be executed by the user when the application is deleted and preset by the terminal system.
In the first case, if the terminal determines that the target path at least includes three application icons and the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application includes the target path identifier, the terminal reserves the target path identifier to continue to serve as one path identifier in the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application.
Here, the path identifier of the target path is reserved as the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application, and when the terminal installs the application of the application category next time, the application icon corresponding to the application icon may also be placed in the target path corresponding to the target path identifier.
In the second case, if the terminal determines that the target path includes two application icons and the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application includes the target path identifier, the terminal deletes the target path identifier from the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the first application.
At this time, since the target path does not exist after the first application is deleted, the invalid path identifier needs to be deleted.
Further, a path (assumed to be path 1) where an application icon corresponding to the application a is located includes the last two application icons, and the path corresponds to the application icon of the application a and the application icon of the application B, respectively, when the application a is deleted, the path does not exist, the path of the application B is automatically changed to a desktop path, the terminal modifies the first path identifier in the basic information of the application B to a desktop path identifier, and when it is determined that the path identifier set corresponding to the application category of the application B includes the path identifier of the path 1, the path identifier of the path 1 is deleted.
