Abstract

The welding of stainless steel parts, especially the welding of stainless steel appearance parts, has high requirements on welding quality, can not change color, and also requires that the uniformity and consistency of welding seams are good; the quality of the welding directly affects the product grade.
The existing stainless steel welding research is mostly based on tubular workpieces, the welding of the tubular workpieces is less involved, and the research is mostly concentrated in the fields of shielding gas and welding guns. However, factors affecting the welding quality are many, such as control over the weld pool, heat dissipation during welding, and the like; the prior art can not meet the welding requirement of high-quality stainless steel workpieces.

The technical scheme adopted by the invention for solving the technical problems is as follows: the welding protection device for the stainless steel workpiece is characterized by comprising a base, wherein the base is provided with a first supporting surface for positioning a first workpiece and a second supporting surface for positioning a second workpiece;

the wall of the base is also provided with an air inlet communicated with the air cavity and a cooling water channel connected with the outside;

Preferably, the support legs are provided in plurality and spaced apart from each other. The structure can enable the shielding gas to quickly and uniformly diffuse in the air cavity, thereby ensuring that the shielding gas is uniformly and stably applied to the position of a welding seam.
The air inlet hole can be multiple, the axis of each air inlet hole forms 20-40 degrees relative to the horizontal plane, and the outlet of each air inlet hole faces the air hole. The structure can ensure that the shielding gas can quickly and uniformly enter the air cavity, and meanwhile, the direct impact welding seam of the shielding gas is avoided, so that the welding quality is further ensured.
To ensure rapid heat dissipation, the cooling water passage may be disposed in the wall corresponding to the first and second support surfaces and near the air hole.
In consideration of the processing difficulty, the base can comprise a base and a first end cover and a second end cover which are connected to the end surfaces of two sides of the base;
the first end cover is provided with a water inlet channel for connecting an outside water source and the cooling water channel; and the second end cover is provided with a water outlet channel communicated with the cooling water channel and the outside. This structure greatly reduced this protection device's the processing degree of difficulty.
Compared with the prior art, the welding protection device for the stainless steel workpiece can quickly dissipate heat, and prevent the deformation and color change of parts; the protective gas is uniform and stable, molten metal liquid is prevented from dripping in the welding process, the shape of a molten pool can be well controlled, and the welding quality is ensured.

The invention is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying examples.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, the welding protection device for stainless steel workpieces comprises:
the base 1 comprises a base 13 and a first end cap 14 and a second end cap 15 connected to both side end faces of the base 13. The first end cap 14 and the second end cap 15 are connected to the base 13 by screws (not shown).
The first end cover 14 is provided with a water inlet channel 51 which is connected with a cooling water source (not shown in the figure) and the cooling water channel 5; the second end cap 15 is provided with a water outlet passage 52 for communicating the cooling water passage 5 with an external drainage device (not shown).
An air cavity 2 which is transversely penetrated is arranged in the base 13 along the length direction of the base, and a slot 21 is arranged on the bottom surface of the air cavity 2.
The air hole 3 which is longitudinally communicated is arranged above the air cavity 2 in the base 13 along the length direction of the base, and the air hole 3 is communicated with the air cavity 2 and exposed on the upper surface of the base.
The outer surfaces of the base, which are positioned at two sides of the air hole 3, are respectively a first supporting surface 11 for positioning a first workpiece and a second supporting surface 12 for positioning a second workpiece, and the structures of the first supporting surface 11 and the second supporting surface 12 are matched with the workpieces to be welded. In this embodiment, two planes are perpendicular to each other.
A plurality of air inlet holes 4 communicated with the air cavity 2 are arranged on the wall corresponding to the first supporting surface 11 at intervals, and the number of the air inlet holes is three in the embodiment; the axes of the air inlet holes 4 form an angle of 30 degrees relative to the horizontal plane, and the outlets of the air inlet holes face the air holes 3, namely, the air inlet holes are inclined from outside to inside from bottom to top.
The walls corresponding to the first supporting surface 11 and the second supporting surface 12 are further provided with a plurality of screw holes 16 at intervals, and bolts penetrate through the screw holes 16 and abut against the back plate 61.
The cooling water channels 5 are provided at the walls corresponding to the first support surface 11 and the second support surface 12, respectively, and near the upper end of the air hole 3.
The supporting plate 6 is arranged in the air cavity 2 and the air hole 3 and is used for supporting a welding seam molten pool, preventing molten metal from dripping and controlling the structure of the molten pool; comprises a back plate 61 and two support legs 62 connected to the back plate 61, wherein the support legs 62 are arranged at intervals and positioned in the slot 21. The back plate 61 is accommodated in the air hole 3 and has a gap 31 with two side walls of the air hole 3; each gap 31 is communicated with an air inlet 4 through the air cavity 2.
When in use, the position of the back plate is adjusted through the bolt; then, two stainless steel plates (not shown in the figure) to be welded are respectively positioned on the first supporting surface and the second supporting surface, and the butt joint edges of the two stainless steel plates are over against the air hole and the supporting plate; sending inert protective gas into the cavity through the gas inlet hole, wherein the inert gas enters the gap from the two sides of the back plate to protect welding; meanwhile, because the air inlet hole is not aligned to the air hole, the protective gas is prevented from directly acting on the welding line, so that the protective gas is uniform and stable, and the flow direction of the inert gas cannot influence the welding quality; meanwhile, external cooling water enters the two cooling channels from the water inlet channel, and heat is taken away quickly through flowing cooling water, so that deformation and color change of a part to be welded are avoided.
Claims (6)
1. A stainless steel workpiece welding protection device is characterized by comprising a base (1), wherein the base (1) is provided with a first supporting surface (11) used for positioning a first workpiece and a second supporting surface (12) used for positioning a second workpiece;
an air cavity (2) and an air hole (3) communicated with the air cavity (2) are arranged in the base (1); the outer port of the air hole (3) is positioned between the first supporting surface (11) and the second supporting surface (12) and is exposed;
the wall of the base (1) is also provided with an air inlet (4) communicated with the air cavity (2) and a cooling water channel (5) connected with the outside;
a supporting plate (6) is further arranged in the air cavity (2), the upper end edge of the supporting plate (6) is accommodated between the first supporting surface (11) and the second supporting surface (12), and gaps (31) are formed between two side surfaces of the supporting plate (6) and two side walls of the air hole (3); each gap (31) is communicated with the air inlet (4) through the air cavity (2);
the bottom surface of the air cavity (2) is provided with a slot (21);
the supporting plate (6) comprises a back plate (61) matched with the air hole (3) and supporting legs (62) connected to the back plate (61), and the supporting legs (62) are inserted into the inserting grooves (21).
