A Christmas lamp control circuit, a method and a lamp string control chip thereof are integrated with a logic control unit (1), a key processing unit (5), a signal generating unit (6) for generating a lamplight control signal, an oscillating unit (2) for providing a clock signal, a voltage converting unit (3) for supplying power to each unit circuit, a zero crossing detection unit (4) and a driving unit (7). The Christmas lamp control circuit comprises a power supply circuit, a control switch, the control chip and a plurality of lamps. The method comprises the following steps: one or more lamp groups forming Christmas lamps are controlled by one or more lamp string control chips, and the lamp groups are directly connected between a power supply and corresponding output pins of the corresponding lamp string control chips. In the consumer electronics market, the christmas lamp string is a product which is not decayed, however, the control box of the christmas lamp seen in the market still stays in the technology of thirty years ago, the control circuit is shown in fig. 1, fig. 2 is a block diagram of the control chip of the existing christmas lamp string, refer to fig. 1, a voltage-reducing resistor R2, a capacitor C2 and a voltage-stabilizing tube ZD1 form a voltage-stabilizing circuit to supply power to the control chip U1, a resistor R3 and related elements in the chip form an oscillating unit, the resistor R1 and the capacitor C1 are used for forming a zero-crossing detection circuit, the zero-crossing detection circuit is connected in an alternating current circuit, two diodes are correspondingly arranged in the control chip U1 together to form a zero-crossing detection circuit, and four thyristors T1-T4 respectively drive and control four lamps. As can be seen from fig. 1, the circuit includes a fuse F1, a high-voltage capacitor XC1, a rectifier bridge BD1, an electrolytic capacitor C2, a ceramic capacitor C1, two resistors R2 and R1, a voltage stabilizing tube ZD1, a control switch S1, four thyristors T1-T4 and a control chip U1, and the circuit has up to 14 elements, which has a complex structure, and causes defects such as inconvenient production, high cost, poor reliability and the like of the control circuit of the light string.

Referring to fig. 3, some embodiments of the light string control chip include: a logic control unit 1, an oscillation unit 2, a voltage conversion unit 3, a zero crossing detection unit 4, a key processing unit 5, a signal generation unit 6 and a driving unit 7.
The oscillating unit 2 is used for providing a clock signal. Some embodiments may integrate an external resistor in the existing circuit into the control chip.
The voltage conversion unit 3 is connected to the high voltage input pin VHDD for supplying power to each unit circuit, more specifically, a circuit for converting high voltage direct current into low voltage direct current. In some preferred embodiments, the voltage conversion unit 3 includes a buck resistor and a zener diode.
The zero crossing detection unit 4 is connected among the ground GND, the voltage conversion unit 3 and the logic control unit 1. In some preferred embodiments, the zero-crossing detection unit 4 is connected to the input end of the voltage conversion unit 1, that is, the high voltage input pin VHDD, that is, the high voltage rectified by the external rectifier bridge is used for zero-crossing detection, and in these preferred embodiments, the zero-crossing detection input pin and the high voltage input pin in the chip are the same pin, that is, only one high voltage pin, compared with the existing christmas lamp control chip.
The key processing unit 5 is connected between the key input pin TG and the logic control unit 1.
The signal generating unit 6 is connected with the logic control unit 1 and is used for generating a light control signal, namely, a signal for controlling the flashing mode of the light string, which can be realized by related software or a pulse signal generator or a combination thereof, so long as the signal with corresponding pulse width and/or frequency can be generated, and the signal generating unit can be the same as the signal generating unit in the existing Christmas light control chip.
A drive unit 7 is connected between the output pin and said signal generating unit 6. In some preferred embodiments, the driving unit 7 includes MOS transistors, for example, four MOS transistors and five MOS transistors, and the specific number of the MOS transistors may be designed according to the output pins of the chip, and the number of the MOS transistors constituting the driving unit 7 is not limited in the present invention.
Compared with the existing Christmas lamp control chip, the lamp string control chip integrates the oscillating unit 2, the voltage converting unit 3, the zero crossing detecting unit 4 and the driving unit 7 besides the logic control unit 1, the key processing unit 5 and the signal generating unit 6, so that the total element number of the lamp string control circuit can be greatly reduced, the reliability and the production convenience of the lamp string control circuit can be improved, and the cost of the lamp string control circuit can be reduced.
The lamp string control chip further comprises an over-temperature detection unit 8, and the over-temperature detection unit 8 is connected with the logic control unit 2. By means of the design, the temperature of the chip can be monitored, the output current of the driving unit 7 is reduced through the logic control unit 1 after the set temperature is reached, the temperature of the chip is reduced, the output current of the driving unit 7 returns to normal after the temperature of the chip is reduced to the set temperature, and over-temperature protection is relieved, so that the chip can be protected from being burnt, and the service life of a lamp string control circuit is effectively prolonged.
In a preferred embodiment, the light string control chip includes: a high voltage input pin VHDD; ground margin GND; key input foot TG; four output pins L1, L2, L3, L4. The light string control chip can control four lights.
In an exemplary embodiment, the light string control chip has 8 pins, and the 8 pins are defined as follows:

Referring to fig. 4, some embodiments of the Christmas lamp control circuit comprise a power supply circuit, a control switch S1, a control chip U1 and four lamps DS1, DS2, DS3 and DS4, wherein the control chip is the lamp string control chip, one end of each of the four lamps DS1, DS2, DS3 and DS4 is connected with an output end of the power supply circuit, and the other end of each of the four lamps DS1, DS2, DS3 and DS4 is correspondingly connected with output pins pin1, pin8, pin7 and pin6 of the control chip U1.
Further, the power supply circuit is constituted by a fuse element F1, a filter element XC1, and a rectifying element BD 1.
It can be seen that after the above light string control chip is adopted, the christmas light control circuit only needs 5 elements including the safety element F1, the filter element XC1, the rectifying element BD1, the chip U1 and the control switch S1.
