Abstract
The invention discloses a vent hole structure of a rainproof relay, which comprises a shell and a base, wherein the shell is provided with a vent hole; the housing has a cavity with a downward opening so as to accommodate the internal parts of the relay; the base is embedded at the bottom of the shell; one side wall of the shell is externally provided with a convex rib which extends downwards along the top and is vertical, the bottom end face of the convex rib is provided with a groove with a downward opening, one side wall of the shell is provided with a through hole, the through hole is communicated with the groove, the groove is of a structure with a large opening and a small opening, and the through hole and the groove form an air hole of the relay. Through the structural improvement of the air holes, the invention has the characteristics of simple structure, convenience for demoulding of a mould during the production of parts, and capability of preventing optical cement from flowing into the relay from small holes on the side edge of the shell, thereby ensuring the service performance of the relay.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a relay, in particular to an air hole structure of a rainproof relay.
Background
The relay generally includes a magnetic circuit portion, a pushing portion, a movable spring portion, a static spring portion, a housing and a base, wherein the magnetic circuit portion, the pushing portion, the movable spring portion and the static spring portion are respectively mounted on the base, the housing is fixed to the base, and the internal cavity of the housing accommodates the magnetic circuit portion, the pushing portion, the movable spring portion, the static spring portion, and other internal relay components.
The relay of prior art is equipped with the bleeder vent usually, sets up the effect of bleeder vent, plays carminative effect when the relay has got ready the plastic envelope and glues the stoving, and the plastic envelope that the inside expanded gas of relay will not solidify yet when preventing to heat to dry is glued and is backed up and open, forms the gas tank, influences the sealing performance of product.
In general, a vent hole of a relay is generally formed on a top or a base of a case, fig. 1 is a schematic view of a structure of a relay of the related art, and fig. 2 is a schematic view of a vent hole of a relay of the related art, which includes a case 101 and a base 102, a vent hole 100 is formed at the base 102, and the vent hole 100 is formed in a through hole shape. Fig. 3 is a schematic view showing a structure of another relay of the prior art, and fig. 4 is a schematic view showing a vent structure of another relay of the prior art, which includes a housing 201 and a base 202, a vent 200 is provided on a top of the housing 201, and the vent 200 is also designed in a shape of a through hole. The air holes are designed into straight through holes, so that the automatic operation of the process of dispensing glue or hot riveting the air holes is facilitated, the production efficiency is improved, and the waterproof capacity of the relay is greatly reduced due to the structure of the air holes.
In order to realize the waterproof function of the relay, the air holes are formed in the side wall of the shell in the prior art, but when the light adhesive is dispensed, the light adhesive easily flows into the shell from the air holes in the side wall of the shell, and the working performance of internal parts of the relay is affected.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art and provides the vent hole structure of the rainproof relay, which has the characteristics of simple structure, convenience in mould demoulding during part production and capability of preventing optical cement from flowing into the relay from small holes on the side edge of the shell through the structural improvement of the vent hole, thereby ensuring the service performance of the relay.
The technical scheme adopted by the invention for solving the technical problems is as follows: a vent hole structure of a rainproof relay comprises a shell and a base; the housing has a cavity with a downward opening so as to accommodate the internal parts of the relay; the base is embedded at the bottom of the shell; one side wall of the shell is externally provided with a convex rib which extends downwards along the top and is vertical, the bottom end face of the convex rib is provided with a groove with a downward opening, one side wall of the shell is provided with a through hole, the through hole is communicated with the groove, the groove is of a structure with a large opening and a small opening, and the through hole and the groove form an air hole of the relay.
The joint of the through hole of the side wall of the shell and the groove of the convex rib is provided with a burr structure formed when the side edge of the part is used for core pulling.
The opening of the groove is square, circular or elliptical; and the size of the opening of the groove is slightly larger than that of the needle head of the dispenser.
The side wall of the shell is internally provided with a step for limiting the movement of the base towards the top direction when the base is installed, and the step corresponds to the position of the through hole, so that a part of the through hole is shielded when the base is installed in the shell.
The shell is of a single-shell structure.
The outer shell is composed of an inner shell and an outer shell, the top of the inner shell is connected with the top of the outer shell, the cavity for containing internal parts of the relay is arranged on the inner shell, the convex rib is arranged outside one side wall of the inner shell, and the through hole is arranged on one side wall of the inner shell.
The groove is composed of a straight groove and a funnel-shaped inclined groove which are connected.
The straight groove is arranged at one side close to the outside, and the inclined groove is arranged at one side close to the inside.
The inclined groove is arranged at one side close to the outside, and the straight groove is arranged at one side close to the inside.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
1. the invention adopts the structure that the convex rib which extends downwards along the top part and is vertical is arranged outside one side wall of the shell, the bottom end surface of the convex rib is provided with the groove with a downward opening, one side wall of the shell is provided with the through hole which is communicated with the groove, the groove is in a structure with a large opening and a small opening, and the through hole and the groove form the air hole of the relay. The structure of the invention can greatly improve the rainproof capability of the relay.
2. The shell is simple in design, the edge of the shell is additionally provided with the convex rib, the air holes are directly added to the top of the convex rib, and the purpose of adding the convex rib is to facilitate the demoulding of a mould during the production of parts.
3. The air holes are designed into a funnel shape at the side, and when the light adhesive is applied, the light adhesive can directly flow to the bottom along the funnel-shaped air holes and seal the air holes.
4. A small hole (namely a through hole) is formed in the side edge of the shell and is connected with the funnel, and because of the side edge core pulling reason in part production, burrs exist at the connection part of the side edge small hole and the funnel, and the burrs can block optical cement and prevent the optical cement from flowing into the relay from the small hole in the side edge of the shell; meanwhile, the air holes must be kept smooth when the spot molding adhesive is dried, so the size of the air holes must be designed reasonably.
5. The invention adopts the step which is arranged in the side wall of the shell and used for limiting the movement of the base towards the top direction when the base is installed, and the step is corresponding to the position of the through hole, so that the through hole is partially shielded when the base is installed in the shell, the relay base can partially shield the small hole at the side edge of the shell, and the function of preventing optical cement from flowing into the relay from the side edge of the shell is also realized.
The invention is further explained in detail with the accompanying drawings and the embodiments; however, the vent structure of the rainproof relay is not limited to the embodiment.

Detailed Description
Example one
Referring to fig. 5 to 11, the vent structure of the rainproof relay of the invention comprises a housing 1 and a base 2; the housing 1 has a cavity 11 with a downward opening for accommodating internal parts of the relay (such as a magnetic circuit part, a pushing part, a moving contact and a static contact of the relay); the base 2 is embedded at the bottom of the shell 1, namely the base 2 is embedded at the bottom of the inner cavity 11 of the shell 1; one of them lateral wall of shell 1 is equipped with outward along top downwardly extending be vertical form protruding muscle 12, and the bottom face of protruding muscle 12 is equipped with opening recess 3 down, one of them lateral wall department of shell 1 is equipped with a through-hole 13, this through-hole 13 with recess 3 is linked together, and recess 3 establishes to the structure of big or small in the mouth, constitutes the bleeder vent of relay by through-hole 13 and recess 3.
In this embodiment, the joint between the through hole 13 of the side wall of the housing and the groove 3 of the rib has a burr structure 151 formed when the side edge of the part is loose core during production.
In this embodiment, the opening of the groove 3 is square; and the size of the opening of the groove 3 is slightly larger than the size of the needle head of the dispensing machine, so that the production difficulty of dispensing glue is reduced conveniently and the automatic dispensing production is facilitated. Of course, the opening of the recess 3 may also be circular or oval or of another shape.
In this embodiment, the through hole 13 of the side wall of the housing 1 corresponds to a substantially middle-lower position in the depth direction of the groove 3 of the rib.
In this embodiment, a step 14 for limiting the movement of the base 2 toward the top when the base 2 is installed is provided in the sidewall of the housing 1, and the step 14 corresponds to the position of the through hole 13, so that the through hole 13 is partially covered when the base 2 is installed in the housing 1.

In this embodiment, the straight groove 31 is disposed on the outer side, and the inclined groove 32 is disposed on the inner side.
According to the air hole structure of the rainproof relay, the groove 3 in the air hole is designed to be similar to a funnel, and a small hole (a through hole 13 in the air hole) is formed in the side edge of the shell at the middle lower part of the funnel and is connected with the interior of the relay. When the plastic package type product plastic package glue is baked and dried, the air expanded by heating inside the relay can be discharged from the small hole (the through hole 13 in the air vent). When the air holes are sealed, the glue can fill the whole glue hole through the funnel-shaped air holes and can cover the small holes on the side of the shell. When the product is dried after the plastic packaging adhesive is dispensed, the through hole 13 is ensured to be kept smooth, and gas expanded by heat inside the relay is prevented from being flushed away from the uncured plastic packaging adhesive to form a gas groove to influence the sealing performance. When the product is used for dispensing optical cement, the design scheme (namely the base 2 can partially block the through hole 13 on the side edge of the shell) can also effectively prevent the optical cement of the relay from flowing into the relay from the through hole 13 to influence the sealing performance.
The invention relates to an air vent structure of a rainproof relay, which is characterized in that a vertical convex rib 12 extending downwards along the top is arranged outside one side wall of a shell 1, a groove 3 with a downward opening is arranged on the bottom end surface of the convex rib 12, a through hole 13 is arranged on one side wall of the shell 1, the through hole 13 is communicated with the groove 3, the groove 3 is of a structure with a large opening and a small opening, and the through hole 13 and the groove 3 form an air vent of the relay. The structure of the invention can greatly improve the rainproof capability of the relay.
According to the vent hole structure of the rainproof relay, the design of the shell 1 is simple, the convex rib 12 is additionally arranged on the edge of the shell 1, the vent hole is directly formed in the top of the convex rib 12, and the purpose of increasing the convex rib 12 is to facilitate mold stripping during part production. According to the invention, the air holes are designed into a funnel shape at the side edge, and when light glue is dispensed, the light glue can directly flow to the bottom along the funnel-shaped air holes and seal the air holes. According to the invention, the small hole (namely the through hole) is formed in the side edge of the shell and is connected with the funnel, and because of the side edge core pulling during the production of parts, burrs exist at the connection part of the side edge small hole and the funnel, and can block the optical cement, so that the optical cement is prevented from flowing into the relay from the side edge small hole of the shell. The invention adopts the technical scheme that the step used for limiting the movement of the base towards the top direction when the base is installed is arranged in the side wall of the shell, and the step corresponds to the position of the through hole, so that the through hole is partially shielded when the base is installed in the shell, and the relay base can partially shield the small hole at the side edge of the shell, thereby also playing the role of preventing optical cement from flowing into the relay from the side edge of the shell.
Example two
Referring to fig. 12 to 14, the vent structure of a rainproof relay according to the present invention is different from the first embodiment in that the inclined groove 32 is disposed outside and the straight groove 31 is disposed inside.

Referring to fig. 15, the vent structure of the rainproof relay of the present invention is different from the first embodiment in that the housing 1 has a single-shell structure.

A vent hole structure of a rainproof relay comprises a shell and a base; the housing has a cavity with a downward opening so as to accommodate the internal parts of the relay; the base is embedded at the bottom of the shell; the method is characterized in that: one side wall of the shell is externally provided with a vertical convex rib which extends downwards along the top, the bottom end surface of the convex rib is provided with a groove with a downward opening, one side wall of the shell is provided with a through hole which is communicated with the groove, the groove is of a structure with a large opening and a small opening, and the through hole and the groove form an air vent of the relay; the size of the opening of the groove is slightly larger than that of the needle head of the dispensing machine, so that the needle head of the dispensing machine can extend into the groove for dispensing; the through-hole of shell lateral wall and the department that meets of the recess of protruding muscle have the part production side burr structure that forms when loosing core to utilize this burr structure to block the optical cement, prevent that the optical cement from flowing into inside the relay.
