Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a washing care appliance with a circulation pump.
Background
In order to achieve a favorable laundry care effect in conventional laundry care appliances, circulation systems with circulation pumps are used. The washing lye is pumped from the lye container into the circulation line by the circulation pump of the circulation system and then conveyed again to the lye container. The circulation pumping process results in a rewetting of the laundry in the washing drum of the laundry care appliance with washing lye, as a result of which the laundry care effect can be improved. During the wash care process, dirt in the circulation system, such as hair, fluff, detergent deposits or calcium deposits, and other dirt, is often collected. The dirt can deposit on each other and can obstruct the flow of the washing caustic in the circulation system.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a laundry care appliance in which dirt can be removed from the circulation system effectively.
This object is achieved by the subject matter having the features according to the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims, the description and the figures.
According to one aspect, the object is achieved according to the invention by a laundry care appliance having a lye container for receiving washing lye, having a discharge opening for discharging washing lye and having an inlet opening for feeding washing lye, wherein the circulation system has a circulation line which fluidically connects the discharge opening to the inlet opening and a circulation pump which is connected to the circulation line, and having a control device for controlling the circulation pump in accordance with a washing care program having a washing process, wherein the control device is designed to activate the circulation pump during the washing process in order to pump washing lye from the lye container through the discharge opening into the circulation line and to convey the pumped-out washing lye from the circulation line through the inlet opening into the lye container, wherein the control device is configured for controlling the circulation pump after the washing process in order to pump washing lye in the circulation system with an increased pump pressure in order to transport the dirt from the circulation system into the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that dirt present in the circulation system can be transported from the circulation system into the lye container and thus removed from the circulation system by increasing the pump pressure in the circulation system after a washing process of a washing care program. The dirt can then be removed from the lye container.
In laundry care appliances, circulation systems are often used in order to achieve a favorable cleaning effect of the laundry. Furthermore, the circulation system comprises a circulation pump in order to pump washing lye out of the lye container and thereby into the lye container during the circulation process or the circulation pumping process. The control device activates the circulation pump during the washing process in order to pump the washing lye from the lye container into the circulation line through the outlet opening and to convey the pumped-out washing lye from the circulation line into the lye container through the inlet opening, in order to wet the laundry in the washing drum with the washing lye therein, thereby ensuring advantageous cleaning of the laundry.
During the wash care process, dirt, such as hair, fluff, detergent deposits or calcium dirt or other foreign matter, accumulates in the circulation system and may obstruct the flow of wash liquor in the circulation system. This can lead to severe blockages or blockages of the circulation system, which inevitably increases the cleaning expenditure. In order to remove the dirt from the circulation system, the control device controls the circulation pump after the washing process, so that the washing lye circulation is pumped with an increased pump pressure in the circulation system. By increasing the pump pressure of the circulation pump, a favorable separation of the dirt in the circulation system by the washing lye conveyed is brought about. Dirt is transported from the circulation system into the lye container and is thereby removed from the circulation system. It is thus possible to prevent dirt from clogging the circulation system and thereby possibly negatively affecting the effectiveness of the circulation system.
By laundry care appliance is understood an appliance for laundry care, for example a washing machine or a washer-dryer. The laundry care appliance is understood to be, in particular, a household laundry care appliance. In other words, the present invention relates to a laundry care appliance for use in household applications, by which household-normal laundry is treated.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a pump drive for driving the circulation pump, wherein the control device is designed to drive the pump drive at a first pump drive rotational speed during a washing process in order to pump the washing liquid at a first pump pressure in the circulation system by the circulation pump during the washing process, and the control device is designed to drive the pump drive at a second pump drive rotational speed greater than the first pump drive rotational speed after the washing process in order to pump the washing liquid at a second pump pressure greater than the first pump pressure in the circulation system by the circulation pump after the washing process.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the control device increases the pump pressure of the circulation pump after a washing process of the washing care program by increasing the pump drive rotational speed of the pump drive device, thereby achieving an increase in the pump power of the circulation pump in the circulation system. By increasing the pump power after the washing process, dirt can be transported from the circulation system into the lye container.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance has a flushing device for flushing fresh water into the lye container, the control device is configured for activating the flushing device during a rinsing process of the laundry care program following the washing process in order to flush fresh water into the lye container, and the control device is configured for controlling the circulation pump during the rinsing process in order to pump washing lye in the circulation system with increased pump pressure during the rinsing process.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that dirt can be effectively transported from the circulation system into the lye container by increasing the pump pressure in the circulation system during the rinsing process which follows the washing process in time. In this way, both the washing stock in the washing drum and the fresh water can be flushed with fresh water during the rinsing process following the washing process.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is configured for controlling the circulation pump during a first rinsing phase of the rinsing process in order to pump the washing lye heated during the washing process with increased pump pressure in the circulation system during the first rinsing phase.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the washing lye heated during the first rinsing phase of the rinsing process is pumped cyclically in the circulation system with increased pump pressure, whereby dirt can be removed effectively from the circulation system. The washing process of the washing care program is carried out before the first rinsing phase of the rinsing process. The washing lye is heated during the washing process in order to ensure advantageous cleaning of the laundry by the heated washing lye. Thereby, the heated washing lye can be used during the first rinsing stage of said rinsing process, which temporally follows the washing process, in order to ensure advantageous removal of the contaminants from the circulation system.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is configured for controlling the circulation pump during a last rinsing phase of the rinsing process in order to pump, during said last rinsing phase, the washing lye diluted by the incoming fresh water during a preceding rinsing phase of the rinsing process in the circulation system with increased pump pressure.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that dirt can be effectively removed from the circulation system by the diluted washing lye during the last rinsing phase of the rinsing process. Fresh water is fed to the lye container during the preceding rinse phase of the rinse process, thereby obtaining diluted washing lye, which is circulated in the circulation system with increased pump pressure during the last rinse phase of the rinse process.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to increase the pump pressure of the circulation pump several times after the washing process.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the washing lye can be circulated particularly effectively in the circulation system after the washing process by increasing the pump pressure of the circulation pump several times, thereby achieving an effective removal of dirt from the circulation system.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is configured to activate the circulation pump for a first period of time during the washing process, and the control device is configured to control the circulation pump for a second period of time after the washing process, in order to pump the washing lye in the circulation system with an increased pump pressure after the washing process, wherein the second period of time is shorter than the first period of time.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a brief increase in the pump pressure of the circulation pump during the second time period after the washing process may be sufficient for effective removal of dirt from the circulation system.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a power detection element for detecting an electrical power value of the circulation pump, wherein the control device is configured to determine a flow rate of the washing lye in the circulation system as a function of the detected electrical power value of the circulation pump, wherein the control device is configured to control the pump power of the circulation pump as a function of the determined flow rate of the washing lye.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the pump power of the circulation pump can be controlled particularly advantageously without the use of additional measuring elements by means of the flow rate in the circulation system determined as a function of the electrical power value of the circulation pump. When the circulation system is clogged with dirt, the flow rate of the washing lye in the circulation system is then reduced, which can be recognized from the electrical power value of the circulation pump, and the pump power of the circulation pump can then be adjusted. The detection of the electrical power of the circulation pump can thus enable an inference to be made about the amount of dirt in the circulation system. In the case that the dirt in the circulation system is large, the control device may increase the pump power of the circulation pump so that the dirt can be effectively removed from the circulation system.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a power detection element for detecting an electrical power value of the circulation pump, wherein the control device is designed to compare a detected electrical power value of the circulation pump after a washing process with a reference power value of the circulation pump, wherein the control device is designed to deactivate the circulation pump when the detected electrical power value corresponds to the reference power value.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that, once the dirt has been effectively removed from the circulation system, it can be detected by comparing the detected value of the electric power with a reference value of the power of the circulation pump. When no dirt is present in the circulation system, the reference power value can then correspond to the determined electric power value of the circulation pump. When the detected electric power value corresponds to the reference power value and thus no more dirt is present in the circulation system, the control device can deactivate the circulation pump in order to end the circulating pumping process.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the power detection element comprises a current sensor for detecting the supply current of the circulation pump or the pump drive.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the electrical power of the circulation pump or the pump drive can be detected without additional sensor elements by using the current sensor. The current sensor may comprise a switched resistance which detects the supply current, wherein in particular the amplitude of the alternating current may be detected.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a sensor for detecting a flow rate in the circulation system, wherein the control device is configured to control the pump power of the circulation pump as a function of the detected flow rate.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the dirt amount in the circulation system can be evaluated particularly effectively by means of the sensor as a function of the changing flow rate of the washing lye in the circulation system, whereby the pump power of the circulation pump can be adjusted accordingly.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a heating element which is configured to heat the washing lye in the lye container, and the control device is configured to activate the heating element during the washing process in order to obtain heated washing lye which is pumped around by the circulation system.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that dirt can be removed particularly effectively from the circulation system by circulating the heated washing lye through the circulation system when the heated washing lye is conveyed through the circulation system after the washing process.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a storage container for collecting dirt from the circulation system.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a region in the circulation system is provided by the storage container, from which dirt collected can be removed efficiently and easily.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, a filter element for accumulating dirt is arranged in the circulation system, wherein the filter element is in particular designed as a foreign-matter collector.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that dirt can be removed particularly effectively from the circulation system by the filter element, in particular the foreign-matter trap.
According to a second aspect of the invention, this object is achieved by a method for removing dirt from a circulation system of a laundry care appliance, wherein the laundry care appliance has a lye container for receiving washing lye, the circulation system having a discharge opening for discharging washing lye and an inlet opening for feeding washing lye, and a control device for controlling the circulation pump in accordance with a washing care program having a washing process, wherein the circulation system has a circulation line which connects the discharge opening with the inlet opening and a circulation pump which is connected with the circulation line, wherein the method comprises: activating, by the control device, the circulation pump during the washing process so as to pump washing lye from the lye container into the circulation line through the discharge opening and to convey the pumped-out washing lye from the circulation line to the lye container through the inlet opening; and the circulation pump is controlled by the control device after the washing process so as to pump the washing lye in the circulation system with an increased pump pressure in order to transport the dirt from the circulation system into the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the washing lye can be effectively circulated in the circulation system by increasing the pump pressure of the circulation pump after the washing process in order to effectively transport the dirt from the circulation system into the lye container.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a conventional laundry care appliance 100, for example a washing machine. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a rinsing housing 101, into which a laundry care substance, for example a detergent, can be injected. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a door 103 for loading laundry into the laundry care appliance 100.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of a laundry care appliance with a circulation system. Fig. 2 shows a schematic internal view of a laundry care appliance 100 comprising a circulation system 105, a washing drum 107 for receiving laundry, and a lye container 109 for receiving washing lye, wherein the lye container 109 has an inlet opening 111 and an outlet opening 113. The circulation system 105 comprises a circulation line 115, which fluidically connects the discharge opening 113 with the inlet opening 111, and a circulation pump 117, which is connected to the circulation line 115. The circulation pump 117 is configured for pumping washing lye from the lye container 109 through the discharge opening 113 into the circulation line 115 of the circulation system 105 and for re-conveying the pumped washing lye from the circulation line 115 through the inlet opening 111 into the lye container 109. The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a pump drive 119 for driving the circulation pump 117. The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a flushing device 121, which is connected to the lye container 109 via a flushing line 123 in order to flush fresh water into the lye container 109. The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a control device 125 which is connected to the pump drive 119 of the circulation pump 117 via a control device connection 127. The control device 125 is configured to control the circulation pump 117 according to a wash care program.
During the washing process of the wash care program of the laundry care appliance 100, the control device 125 activates the circulation pump 117 in order to circulate the washing lye in the circulation system 105. For this purpose, the control device 125 activates the pump drive 119 of the circulation pump 117. In this case, the washing lye is pumped from the lye container 109 into the circulation line 115 through the discharge opening 113 and the pumped-out washing lye is conveyed back into the lye container 109 through the circulation line 115 and through the inlet opening 111 in order to ensure advantageous cleaning of the laundry. Within the framework of the circulation process, the circulation pump 117 feeds the washing lye into the circulation system 105 during the washing process, in particular at a supply flow of 5l/min to 10 l/min.
Dirt present in the circulation system 105, such as hair or fluff, is cyclically pumped through the circulation system 105 during the cyclic pumping process. Here, deposits which may consist of detergent residues and calcium and which are mixed with hair flocks and/or fluff can become stuck at the bends of the circulation line 115 or at the transitions of the different circulation pumping components and thus block the entire circulation system 105.
In order to remove the contaminants from the circulation system 105, the control device 125 controls the circulation pump 117 after the washing process, so that the washing lye is circulated in the circulation system 105 with an increased pump pressure. For this purpose, the control device 125 in particular increases the pump drive rotational speed of the pump drive 119, and thus the pump pressure of the circulation pump 117. The increased pump pressure leads to an advantageous separation of the waste material in the circulation system 105, which is conveyed from the circulation system 105, in particular via the circulation line 115 and via the inlet opening 111, into the lye container 109. Thereby, dirt may be prevented from clogging the circulation system 105 and thereby possibly negatively affecting the effectiveness of the circulation system 105.
The laundry care appliance 100 can also comprise a power detection element which is configured to detect an electrical power value of the circulation pump 117 or of the pump drive 119, for example a supply current of the circulation pump 117 or of the pump drive 119. By means of the high temporal resolution in the detection of the electrical power value, it can be detected whether dirt is present in the circulation system 105. The stored reference power value of the circulation pump 117 or the pump drive 119, for example, the stored characteristic map of the pump drive value, makes it possible to adapt the pump drive rotational speed of the pump drive 119, the pump pressure of the circulation pump 117 or the duration of the circulating pumping with increased pump pressure to the dirtied state of the circulation system 105 by means of the detected electrical power value. By evaluating the detected power, not only an occlusion in the circulatory system 105 can be detected, but also a successful elimination of said occlusion in the circulatory system 105. The pump power of the circulation pump 117 or of the pump drive 119, which slowly deteriorates over the duration of the pumping and the service life of the appliance, can be determined by comparing the detected electrical power value of the circulation pump 117 or of the pump drive 119 with a reference power value.
Increasing the pump pressure of the circulation pump 117 through the washing process of the washing care program of the laundry care appliance 100 can significantly reduce the occurrence of blockages or blockages of the circulation system 105 due to dirt. This has the positive effect of reducing the cleaning action of the circulation system 105 and the circulation pump 117 by the user and thus improves the appliance quality of the laundry care appliance 100.
Fig. 3 shows a process of a method 200 for removing dirt from the circulation system 105 according to fig. 2.
The method comprises a first method step: the circulation pump 117 is activated 201 by the control device 125 during the washing process in order to pump washing lye from the lye container 109 into the circulation line 115 through the discharge opening 113 and to convey the pumped-out washing lye from the circulation line 115 into the lye container 109 through the inlet opening 111.
The method comprises a second method step: the circulation pump 117 is controlled 203 by the control device 125 after the washing process in order to pump washing lye in the circulation system 105 with increased pump pressure and in order to transport the contaminants from the circulation system 105 into the lye container 109.
All features described and shown in connection with the various embodiments of the invention can be provided in the subject-matter according to the invention in different combinations in order to achieve their advantageous effects simultaneously.
The scope of protection of the invention is given by the claims and is not limited to the features described in the description or shown in the drawings.
