Background
The cable connector is a wire conductor for connecting a terminal and a cable, and most of the existing industry products are connected with the core wire conductor and the terminal in a riveting way through a terminal machine, so that unstable connector quality phenomenon is easily brought in preparation and use, such as the phenomenon that: the wire conductor is crushed, broken, short-circuited, and short in service life. Meanwhile, most of the processes in the current cable connector generation still depend on manual work to finish, so that the quality is further unable to be ensured.
The technology is developed to the present, and an automatic process capable of realizing large-scale manufacturing becomes the first choice of various industries. The current cable connector also cannot meet the conditions of automatic production, so that labor cost is greatly increased, cost cannot be reduced, and meanwhile, unstable connector quality is a technical problem to be solved.
In the existing cable connector, the connector body is not provided with a fixing piece for a wiring terminal, or the terminal is fixed by adopting a mode of self-carrying an internal mold on the connector body, the internal mold is integrally formed on the connector body, the structure is complete, the cost is low, but based on the structure and the process, the internal mold and the connector body can only be selected to be the same in material and process. According to the performance requirements of all parts of the cable connector, the connector body needs to be good in material elasticity and not too brittle, and as the requirement of fixing the wiring terminal, the material performance requirement of the connector body is high-temperature resistant and good in insulativity, and the requirements of the two parts on the material are different. But it is difficult to solve this technical problem based on the conventional design concept of the existing general cable connector.
In view of this, the inventor provides a female connector, a male connector and a combination, which breaks the above-mentioned existing design ideas.

Meanwhile, the first and second carrying seats are adopted to separate and protect the core wires of each wire in the cable, so that the core wires can be ensured to be completely placed on the connecting areas of the male and female connecting terminals to be correspondingly connected, the product connection is reliable, the core wires can be well protected, and the wire conductors (core wires) can be further prevented from being crushed and broken.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the female connector and the male connector are further provided with guiding mechanisms for correctly inserting the female terminal 2 and the male terminal 2', so as to prevent misoperation, and simultaneously, the female terminal 2 and the male terminal 2' can be positioned in an auxiliary manner from the left side and the right side, which is beneficial to the accurate execution of the preparation process.
In particular, in order to more clearly illustrate the structure and design of the present invention, a description will be given below of the structure taking a male connector as an example. It should be immediately understood that the female connector of the present invention is identical or matched in structure to the portions of the male connector described below.
In one embodiment, the guiding mechanism may be: second protruding portions 201 are disposed on two sides of the male connection terminal 2', a second enlarged portion matched with the second protruding portions 201 is disposed on the semi-closed section 3022 of the second fixing socket 302, and when the male connection terminal 2' is inserted into the semi-closed section 3022 of the second fixing socket 302, the second protruding portions 201 are embedded into the second enlarged portion to perform the function of positioning and correcting the male connection terminal 2 '. According to this action, more preferably, the second convex portion 201 and the second enlarged portion are triangular in shape. As shown in fig. 11, the male terminal 2' has triangular second protruding portions on two sides, and a triangular space, i.e., a second enlarged portion, is provided in the semi-closed section 3022 of the fixing socket at a position corresponding to the protruding portion of the terminal, so that the triangular protruding portions and the triangular space, i.e., the enlarged portions, can be matched when the male terminal is inserted into the semi-closed section 3022 of the second fixing socket. Of course, the illustration in fig. 11 is only a preferred embodiment of the guide mechanism according to the invention, but in other embodiments the guide mechanism may have other forms, and is not limited to the above-mentioned matching triangular shapes. The principle and structure of the implementation of the guide mechanism are also applicable to the guide mechanism of the female terminal, and are not repeated.
As described above, the first fixing member 3 and the second fixing member 3' have the same structure, and as shown in fig. 12, for example, an embodiment of a male connector is used, one end of the second substrate 301 is provided with a second beam 303 forming an included angle with the second substrate 301, and one end of the second fixing slot 302 is exposed out of the second beam 303 to form an open section 3021; the other end of the second fixing socket 302 extends into the second beam 303 and penetrates the second beam 303 to form a semi-closed section 3022.
The second beam 303 is perpendicular to one end of the second substrate 301, and the second beam 303 may be integrally formed with the second substrate 301.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 12, the second fixing slots 302 are arranged at equal intervals, the length of the open section 3021 is greater than that of the semi-closed section 3022, and the bottoms of the open section 3021 and the semi-closed section 3022 are a coherent whole on the second substrate 301. The open section 3021 is mainly used for connecting and protecting the subsequent wiring terminal 2 and the cable, and is convenient for the operation of the subsequent preparation process; the semi-closed section 3022 is used for fixing and positioning the male connection terminal 2 'and protecting the male connection terminal 2' during the process, so as to prevent the terminal from deforming.
In other embodiments, the second beam 303 may not be perpendicular to an end of the second substrate 301, for example, an acute angle or an obtuse angle may be formed between the second beam 303 and the second substrate 301.
In a preferred embodiment, as shown in fig. 13, the second fixing slot 302 may have a longitudinal cross-sectional shape of a semi-closed segment 3022 with a shape of a Chinese character kou. The shape of the slot is a similar shape, that is, a shape formed by combining two sides and upper and lower sides, wherein the specific arrangement of the included angles between the two sides and the lower side is not particularly required, and can be determined according to the design requirement of the connecting terminal 2.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 14, in a preferred embodiment, the longitudinal section of the semi-enclosed section 3022 may be concave, specifically, in order to better fix the inserted male terminal 2', a bump is disposed above the inserted male terminal 2' in the fixing slot of the semi-enclosed section 3022, and the end of the bump can assist in positioning the upper and lower positions of the male terminal 2', so as to better protect the terminal, and further facilitate the operation of the subsequent process and improve the yield.
Further, one end of the bump is fixed to the second beam 303, or directly extends from the second beam 303, and may be integrally formed with the second beam 303, and the other end of the bump contacts the male terminal 2' inserted into the second fixing slot 302, so that the longitudinal section of the fixing slot forms a "concave" shape.
In a part of the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the upper, lower, left and right positions of the male connection terminal 2 'may be positioned in an auxiliary manner by simultaneously providing the guide mechanism and the protruding blocks provided in the semi-closed section 3022, so that the male connection terminal 2' may be positioned very accurately during the installation and preparation process, and may not shake, thereby greatly helping the quality and final yield of the final product, especially in the automatic production.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the longitudinal section of the open section 3021 of the second fixing socket 302 is U-shaped. Specifically, since the upper portion of the open section 3021 has no second beam 303, the u-shape, i.e., the bottom, is a base, and the left and right sides are sides of the second fixing insertion groove 302, which may be in the form of two side shields. The U-shape is a generally similar shape, that is, it is formed by combining two sides and a bottom, wherein there is no specific requirement for a specific arrangement angle between the two sides and the bottom, and the like, and the U-shape can be determined according to the design requirement of the second connection terminal 2'.
The male connection terminal 2 'is inserted into the second fixing slot 302 via the semi-closed section 3022 and reaches the open section 3021, the area where the male connection terminal 2' is inserted into the open section 3021 is a second connection area 202 where the male connection terminal 2 'is connected to the second core wire 5' of the second cable, as shown in fig. 4, the second connection area 202 may be a welding area or a crimping area, and the specific process may be selected and determined according to the actual situation. Of course, in other embodiments, the male terminal 2' may also be the insertion of the open section 3021 of the second fixing socket 302 into the semi-closed section 3022, which has no essential effect on the implementation of the present invention.
The second carrier 4' has a receiving space formed by the second partition 401 corresponding to the position of the second fixing slot 302, so that the male connection terminal 2' is connected to the second core wire 5'. Meanwhile, the carrier second carrier 4' may be manufactured by integral molding.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 15 and 16, the overall shape of the second fixing member 1 is L-shaped when viewed from the side view of the second fixing member 3', wherein the second base 301 is the long side of L and the second beam 303 is the short side of L. This is only one shape of the second fixing member 3', and in other embodiments, the overall shape of the second fixing member 3' may be any one of rectangle, square, trapezoid, etc. as will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art.
The second fixing member structure shown in fig. 12 to 16 is also applicable to the female connector, that is, the structure corresponding to the first fixing member, and the first fixing member and the second fixing member are only for distinguishing and describing the structures in the male connector and the female connector, and are actually parts with the same structure, and are not used for describing the sequence and the like. Likewise, the first carrier and the second carrier of the present invention are also the same.
The fixing piece provided by the invention is a component which can be independently separated from the cable connector, and can also be of an integrated structure with other components in the cable connector, and the fixing piece can be used for positioning the wiring terminal and playing a good role in protecting the terminal, and meanwhile, the fixing piece can be used for blocking the plastic punching into the main body of the cable connector, so that the problem of plugging of the connection male and female is avoided, and a favorable condition is provided for realizing the large-scale manufacturing automation of the cable connector.
The above preferable technical features can be used singly or in any combination, and the effect is better when the combination is used.
The latch and buckle structure of the present invention can be implemented by adopting the existing structure, so long as the objects of the latch and buckle can be matched, the latch and buckle structure is not limited to specific positions, and only some possible forms of embodiments are shown in the figure. The invention can be used in cable connectors for connection of electric vehicles, medical equipment, displays and the like, can ensure the product quality, and lays a foundation condition for realizing automation of the cable connectors.
In the drawings of the above embodiments, the same reference numerals denote the same components or components having the same functions, and the terms of "upper", "lower", "front", "rear", "left", "right", and the like used in the description are merely meant with respect to the drawings for convenience in describing the present invention.
All the drawings of the above embodiments are merely for convenience in explaining the technical contents of the present invention; technical features such as numerals, positions of components, interrelationships among components, and sizes of components used to construct the preferred embodiment do not constitute limitations on the technical solution itself, but should extend to the entire area covered by the technical field.
While the present invention has been described in detail through the foregoing description of the preferred embodiment, it should be understood that the foregoing description is not to be considered as limiting the invention. Many modifications and substitutions of the present invention will become apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art upon reading the foregoing. Accordingly, the scope of the invention should be limited only by the attached claims.
Claims (7)
1. A female connector, comprising:
the first fixing piece is provided with a first substrate, a plurality of first fixing slots for inserting the wiring terminals are formed in the first substrate, and the first fixing slots are arranged on the first substrate at equal intervals;
the female connecting terminals are inserted into the corresponding first fixing slots on the first fixing piece, correspond to the positions of the first fixing slots and are also arranged at equal intervals; the end part of the female connecting terminal, which is inserted into the first fixed slot, is provided with a first connecting area;
a first cable including a plurality of wires, one end portions of the plurality of wires exposing a first core wire;
the first carrier is provided with a plurality of first partition boards, a plurality of first containing spaces for equidistant arrangement of the first core wires are formed through the first partition boards, the plurality of first core wires are fixed in the corresponding first containing spaces, one end part of the first core wires is exposed out of the first containing spaces, and the end part exposed out of the first containing spaces is arranged in the first connecting area on the female connecting terminal;
the female connector body is provided with a space for installing the first fixing piece and a plurality of female wiring terminals, and the female connector body and the first fixing piece are fixedly installed through a buckle structure; a first lock catch is arranged on one surface of the female connector body;
a first beam forming an included angle with the first substrate is arranged at one end of the first substrate, and one end of the first fixing slot is exposed out of the first beam to form a first open section; the other end of the first fixing slot extends into the first beam and penetrates through the first beam to form a first semi-closed section;
first guiding mechanisms matched with each other are arranged on the first half-closed sections of the first fixing slots and the wiring terminals and used for positioning and correcting the wiring terminals;
the first guiding mechanism means: the two sides of the wiring terminal are provided with first protruding parts, the first half-closed section of the first fixing slot is provided with first expansion parts matched with the first protruding parts, and when the wiring terminal is inserted into the first half-closed section of the first fixing slot, the first protruding parts are embedded into the first expansion parts;
the length of the first open section of the first fixed slot is larger than that of the first half-closed section, and the bottoms of the first open section and the first half-closed section are a coherent whole on the first substrate;
the female connector is further provided with a first outer die, the first outer die can cover the first core wires and the first carrier seats of the first cables, one end portion of the first outer die is connected with the female connector body, and the other end of the first outer die is connected and fixed with a plurality of first core wires of the first cables.
2. The female connector of claim 1, wherein: the first boss and the first enlarged portion are triangular in shape.
3. The female connector as claimed in any one of claims 1 or 2 wherein: also has one or more of the following characteristics:
-said first fixed slot, the longitudinal section of the first half-closed section of which is shaped like a letter or a mouth;
-the structure and the size of the plurality of first fixing slots are the same and are matched with the structure and the size of the plurality of female terminal blocks;
-the first beam is perpendicular to the first base one end;
-said first fixing member is a member independently separable from said female connector or is of unitary construction with other components in said female connector.
4. A male connector for plugging the female connector of any one of claims 1 to 3, comprising:
the second fixing piece is provided with a second substrate, a plurality of second fixing slots for inserting the male connecting terminals are formed in the second substrate, and the second fixing slots are arranged on the second substrate at equal intervals;
the male connecting terminals are inserted into the corresponding second fixing slots on the second fixing piece, correspond to the positions of the second fixing slots and are also arranged at equal intervals;
a second cable including a plurality of wires, one end portions of the plurality of wires exposing a second core wire;
the second carrier is provided with a plurality of second partition boards, a plurality of second containing spaces for equidistant arrangement of the second core wires are formed through the second partition boards, the second core wires are fixed in the corresponding second containing spaces, and one end part of each second core wire is exposed out of the second containing spaces;
the male connector body is provided with a space for installing the second fixing piece and a plurality of male wiring terminals, and the male connector body and the second fixing piece are fixedly installed through a buckle structure; a second lock catch is arranged on one surface of the male connector body;
a second beam forming an included angle with the second substrate is arranged at one end of the second substrate, and one end of the second fixing slot is exposed out of the second beam to form an open section; the other end of the second fixing slot extends into the second beam and penetrates through the second beam to form a semi-closed section;
the semi-closed sections of the second fixing slots and the male connecting terminals are provided with guide mechanisms matched with each other, and the guide mechanisms are used for positioning and correcting the male connecting terminals;
the guide mechanism means: the two sides of the male connecting terminal are provided with protruding parts, the semi-closed section of the second fixing slot is provided with a second expansion part matched with the protruding parts, and when the male connecting terminal is inserted into the semi-closed section of the second fixing slot, the protruding parts are embedded into the second expansion part;
the length of the open section of the second fixing slot is larger than that of the semi-closed section, and the bottoms of the open section and the semi-closed section are a consistent whole body positioned on the second substrate.
5. The male connector of claim 4, wherein: the boss and the second enlarged portion are triangular in shape.
6. The male connector of any of claims 4 to 5, wherein: also has one or more of the following characteristics:
-said second fixed slot, the half-closed section of which has a longitudinal section shaped like a letter or a mouth;
-the structure and the size of the plurality of second fixing slots are the same and are matched with the structure and the size of the plurality of male connecting terminals;
-said second beam is perpendicular to said second base one end;
-said second fixing element is a member independently separable from said male connector or is of unitary construction with other components of said male connector.
7. A connector combination comprising a female connector and a male connector which are correspondingly inserted, wherein the female connector is the female connector of any one of claims 1 to 3, the male connector is the male connector of any one of claims 4 to 6, and the female connector and the male connector are inserted and locked by the cooperation of the first lock catch and the second lock catch.
