本发明公开了一种光通信模块,包括:壳体,两端分别设有光信号端口和电信号端口;设于壳体内的电路板组件和光器件组件,所述电路板组件包括电路板及设于电路板上的控制单元;与所述光信号端口相连接的通信光缆;所述通信光缆上设置有状态指示单元,当所述光通信模块需要更换或检查时,所述控制单元可控制所述状态指示单元进行状态指示,使运维人员能快速直观的甄别所需要更换或检查的光通信模块,以便及时处理。

技术领域
本发明属于光通讯领域,特别涉及一种光通信模块。
背景技术
在大数据时代下,数据中心起着不可或缺的作用,数据中心包括着数以千计的主机设备,例如主计算机、交换集线器、网络路由器等。为了实现数据传输,许多光通信模块与这些主机设备相连,其中一部分主机还可以同时收容多个光通信模块。大部分光通信模块与主机之间是通过端口可插拔式连接的,以使插接或者取出光通信模块更为方便。每一个光通信模块通常通过自身的电通信接口发送和接收电子数据信号来与主机设备的对应刷电路板(PCB)进行通信。
在一个数据中心中,会用到数以千计的线缆,例如通信线缆来互连主机设备。所述通信线缆具有处于其一端或两端的光通信模块,处于通信线缆一端或两端的光通信模块以可插拔的方式连接至主机设备的端口。这样主机上就会有非常多的光通信模块。当光通信模块出现与主机连接故障,或出现光通信模块与主机数据传输故障等情况时,此时其中一个或者几个光通信模块需要更换或者需要检查,常用的办法是在主机端发出状态指示,主机端先找到对应的光通信模块,然后运营人员再在现场找到相应的光通信模块,再进行需要的处理。这样的方法比较繁琐,不够直接明显。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种光通信模块,其能够方便运维人员在现场尽快找到需要的光通信模块。
为解决上述问题,在本发明一实施方式中,采用一种光通信模块,其包括:
壳体,所述壳体的两端分别设有光信号端口和电信号端口;
设于壳体内的电路板组件和光器件组件,所述电路板组件包括电路板及设于所述电路板上的控制单元;
通信光缆,所述通信光缆与所述光信号端口相连接;
状态指示单元,设置于所述通信光缆的表面,所述控制单元控制所述状态指示单元进行状态指示。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述状态指示单元与所述电路板组件之间通过导线相电性连接。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述导线与所述通信光缆固定在一起。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述通信光缆与所述光信号端口上均设置有电接触点,所述通信光缆上的电接触点与所述状态指示单元相电性连接,所述光信号端口上的电接触点与所述电路板组件相电性连接,所述通信光缆与所述光信号端口相连接后,所述通信光缆上的电接触点与所述光信号端口上的电接触点相电性连接。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述状态指示单元为设置在所述通信光缆表面的状态指示灯。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述状态指示灯嵌设于所述通信光缆的保护层内。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述状态指示灯外套设有导光带,所述导光带围绕所述通信光缆一周布置。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述状态指示单元为整圈发光的灯或灯带,围设于所述通信光缆外表面。
作为本发明一实施方式的进一步改进,所述状态指示单元为通信光缆上通体发光的保护层。
本发明还提供了一种光通信模块,包括如上任一所述的状态指示单元为至少能显示两种颜色的状态指示灯。
本发明的光通信模块通过在所述通信光缆上设置有状态指示单元对所述光通信模块的状态进行指示,当所述光通信模块需要更换或检查时,所述控制单元可控制所述状态指示单元进行状态指示,使运维人员能快速直观的甄别所需要更换或检查的光通信模块,以便能及时处理。

具体实施方式
以下将结合附图所示的实施方式对本发明进行详细描述。但该实施方式并不限制本发明,本领域的普通技术人员根据该实施方式所做出的结构、方法、或功能上的变换均包含在本发明的保护范围内。
本申请的第一实施例提供了一种光通信模块。如图1和2所示,该光通信模块1包括壳体10、电路板组件20、光器件组件(图未示)、通信光缆30和设置于其上的状态指示单元40。壳体10两端分别设有光信号端口102和电信号端口101,通信光缆30与所述光信号端口102相连接,当通信光缆30组装到光信号端口102上后,光通信模块1内部的光器件组件与通信光缆30之间可以实现光信号的交换。所述电路板组件20包括电路板201及设于电路板201上的控制单元202及其他设于电路板201上的电子元件,所述控制单元202除了可以控制光通信模块1的正常工作外还可控制所述状态指示单元40进行状态指示。此处的状态指示包括光通信模块1的故障指示、运行良好指示、接触不良指示等。状态指示单元40设置在通信光缆30上是指状态指示单元40设置在通信光缆30上露在光信号端口102外的表面上,这样可以方便运维人员查看。
另外,光通信模块1可以是SFP(Small Form-factor Pluggable)光模块、SFF(Small Form Factor)光模块,也可以是具有AOC (Active Optical Cable)的光模块。也就是说,本申请不限制通信光缆是前期和光模块制作在一起,还是后期可插拔的与光模块连接在一起。
在该实施例中,所述状态指示单元40与所述电路板组件20之间通过导线50相电性连接,导线50与通信光缆30固定在一起。通信光缆30的外壳一般是塑胶材质,光缆包裹在塑胶材质的外壳内部,可以通过在通信光缆30的外壳上开设容置槽来固定导线50,也可以将导线50一体成型在通信光缆30的外壳上。
导线50的一端与电路板组件20的控制单元202相连,另一端与状态指示单元40相连。状态指示单元40可以是状态指示等也可以是报警器或者其它元件。本申请第一实施例中所述的状态指示单元40为状态指示灯41,状态指示单元40镶嵌在通信光缆30 的保护层内。进一步的,所述状态指示灯41可以是LED光源或者OLED光源。
相对于将状态指示单元40设置在光通信模块1的壳体10上的方式,将状态指示单元40设置在通信光缆30的保护层内,将有更大的布置空间来固定状态指示单元40,且固定起来更加方便。并且,通信光缆30上设置状态指示单元40不容易被其他元件阻挡,从而能够方便运维人员一眼看到需要进行检查或者更换的光通信模块。
控制单元202和状态指示单元40之间也可以通过其他方式实现电性连接。例如,在其他实施例中,通信光缆30与光信号端口102上均设置有电接触点,所述通信光缆30上的电接触点与所述状态指示单元40相电性连接,所述光信号端口102上的电接触点与所述电路板组件20相电性连接。通信光缆30上的电接触点与状态指示单元40之间,以及光信号端口102上的电接触点与电路板组件20之间的电性连接可以通过导线实现。当所述通信光缆30与所述光信号端口102相连接后,所述通信光缆30上的电接触点与所述光信号端口102上的电接触点相接触从而实现电性连接。这样,电路板组件20和状态指示单元40就实现了电性连接,控制单元202也就可以实现对状态指示单元40的控制。
如图3所示,在本申请的第二实施例中,所述状态指示灯41外套设有导光带42,所述导光带42围绕所述通信光缆30的一周布置,当所述控制单元202对所述状态指示灯41发出控制信号时,所述状态指示灯41产生的光照可在所述导光带42内部传播并照亮所述导光带42外表面的至少一部分,从而进行状态指示。
进一步的,所述状态指示单元40也可以设置为整圈发光的灯或灯带,同样围绕所述通信光缆30的一周布置,当所述控制单元202对所述整圈发光的灯或灯带发出控制信号时,所述整圈发光的灯或灯带可按所述控制单元202所设频率发光从而进行状态指示。
如图4所示,在本申请的第三实施例中,所述状态指示单元40为通信光缆30上通体发光的保护层43;采用通体发光的保护层43,可以使所述状态指示单元有更大范围的发光面积。
在本发明另一实施方式中,还提供了一种光通信模块1,包括如上示例中任一所述的状态指示单元40,并且所述状态指示单元40为至少能显示两种颜色的状态指示灯,以便运维人员能快速判别光通信模块中产生的至少两种情况并及时处理。
本发明的光通信模块通过在所述通信光缆30上设置有状态指示单元40对所述光通信模块1的状态进行指示,当所述光通信模块1需要更换或检查时,所述控制单元202可控制所述状态指示单元40进行状态指示,使运维人员能快速直观的甄别所需要更换或检查的光通信模块,以便能及时处理。
应当理解,虽然本说明书按照实施方式加以描述,但并非每个实施方式仅包含一个独立的技术方案,说明书的这种叙述方式仅仅是为清楚起见,本领域技术人员应当将说明书作为一个整体,各实施方式中的技术方案也可以经适当组合,形成本领域技术人员可以理解的其他实施方式。

Claims (10)

1.一种光通信模块,其特征在于,包括:
壳体,所述壳体的两端分别设有光信号端口和电信号端口;
设于壳体内的电路板组件和光器件组件,所述电路板组件包括电路板及设于所述电路板上的控制单元;
通信光缆,所述通信光缆与所述光信号端口相连接;
状态指示单元,设置于所述通信光缆上,所述控制单元控制所述状态指示单元进行状态指示。
2.根据权利要求1所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述状态指示单元与所述电路板组件之间通过导线相电性连接。
3.根据权利要求2所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述导线与所述通信光缆固定在一起。
4.根据权利要求1所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述通信光缆与所述光信号端口上均设置有电接触点,所述通信光缆上的电接触点与所述状态指示单元相电性连接,所述光信号端口上的电接触点与所述电路板组件相电性连接,所述通信光缆与所述光信号端口相连接后,所述通信光缆上的电接触点与所述光信号端口上的电接触点相电性连接。
5.根据权利要求1所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述状态指示单元为设置在所述通信光缆表面的状态指示灯。
6.根据权利要求5所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述状态指示灯嵌设于所述通信光缆的保护层内。
7.根据权利要求6所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述状态指示灯外套设有导光带,所述导光带围绕所述通信光缆一周布置。
8.根据权利要求1所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述状态指示单元为整圈发光的灯或灯带,围设于所述通信光缆外表面。
9.根据权利要求1所述的光通信模块,其特征在于,所述状态指示单元为通信光缆上通体发光的保护层。
10.根据权利要求1至9中任一项所述的光通信模块,所述状态指示单元为至少能显示两种颜色的状态指示灯。
