In practical applications, all the functional modules in the embodiment shown in fig. 5 may be implemented by using a processor, an editing logic device, or the like.
The third embodiment:
the present invention will now be further explained with reference to specific application scenarios.
As shown in fig. 1, in the prior art, each email has an individual email identifier UID, which is an individual, and after an email is replied, the content of the original email is merely copied into a new email, and then the new email is sent out as an individual email, so that the number of individuals of the email increases, individuals receive a plurality of emails, and the newly added email often contains the content of the old email.
In order to solve the problem that the existing reply email is used as a separate email, the embodiment improves the server and the client, and specifically includes the following steps:
on the server side, the mail server adds the following mail forms (e.g. message): the updating time updateTime of the reply mail and the number of the reply mails childCount. Other fields such as the mail number messageId, the target to, the mail identification uid, and the sending time are existing fields. The updated mailing form, i.e., the normal mailing form, is shown in table 1 below:
TABLE 1
messageId to uid time …… updateTime childCount
……
Meanwhile, the mail server adds a form: a reply mail form child _ message, which has all the attributes except updateTime, child count, uid of the message, and adds fields of index and home identification belongUid. The reply mail form is shown in table 2 below:
TABLE 2
childMesId to time …… index belongUid
……
On this basis, the server updates the 2 forms after receiving the mail, for example:
the first step is as follows: and E, sending the group A to B and C at the sending time of X1. The server deposit data is shown in table 3 below:
TABLE 3
messageId to uid time …… updateTime childCount
1 B,C 1 X1 …… 0 0
The second step is that: b and C receive the data, B replies to the content, and the sending time is X2. The server deposit data updates are shown in tables 4 and 5 below:
TABLE 4
messageId to uid time …… updateTime childCount
1 B,C 1 X1 …… X2 1
TABLE 5
childMesId to time …… index belongUid
1 A,C X2 …… 1 1
A receives a mail, which is displayed at time X2, and the mail contents include mail contents of messageId 1 and childMesId 1. The message id of C is 1 mail updated with the display time X2, and the mail is changed from the previous state to unread and updated to the forefront of the mail queue. The mail contents include mail contents of messageId 1 and childMesId 1.
The third step: c replies to the mail content with a reply time of X3. The server deposit data updates are shown in tables 6 and 7 below:
TABLE 6
messageId to uid time …… updateTime childCount
1 B,C 1 X1 …… X3 2
TABLE 7
childMesId to time …… index belongUid
1 A,C X2 …… 1 1
2 A,B X3 2 1
The message id of a and B is 1 mail updated with the display time X3, and the mail is changed from the previous state to unread and updated to the forefront of the mail queue. The mail contents include mail contents of messageId 1 and childMesId 1, 2.
If C only wants to reply to A when replying, then finally B will not receive the mail to be updated. Until someone sends the update to B in the following process, B will receive the mail to be updated, which contains all the mail contents in the front.
On this basis, as shown in fig. 6, the mail display method provided by the present embodiment includes:
S601-S603, the server checks whether updateTime of the message is changed or not when the client synchronizes the mails, if not, other mails are synchronized, and if so, belongUid of the child _ message form is associated with uid of the message.
S604-S606, finding out whether the account is in to from the latest time of the child MesId in the message form, if so, comparing the index value S2 of the node in the server with the index value S1 local to the client, transmitting the data of the node between S1-S2 to the client, and combining the data between S1-S2 and the original mail into a new mail to be updated to the forefront of the mail by the client. If the original S1 does not exist, S2 and all previous data are sent to the client.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 7, when a sends an email to B, C, it asks B, C whether there is any suggestion. And then B replies to the mail. A will receive the new mail and include A sent and B sent, C will be merged and updated the mail that A sent originally and B sent now to a new mail to the mail queue forefront. At this time, C replies to the mail, A and B also update the latest mail content to the forefront, and only one mail is generated in the whole process.
In the prior art, a user generally sends a mail, and many mails are generated if many people reply. This is almost intolerable to the person viewing the mail. By adopting the scheme, the mails with the reply property and the original mail are combined into a new mail and updated to the forefront of the mail queue. The user does not need to see a large pile of mails each time and then spend a large amount of time for deletion or other operations, and only needs to pay attention to one mail.
In summary, the implementation of the embodiment of the present invention has at least the following advantages:
the embodiment of the invention provides a mail display method, which establishes the incidence relation between a reply mail and a target mail at a server side, after a client requests the mail, the server sends the mail to be updated and the incidence relation which possibly exists to the client, the client directly displays the mail to be updated aiming at a common mail, and combines and displays the contents of the reply mail and the target mail according to the incidence relation aiming at the reply mail, thus, the reply mail is not generated in the form of a new mail but is updated as a part of the content of the original mail by adding a transmission rule on the basis of the original mail protocol, then a mail list is changed into a mail from N mails (1 target mail and a plurality of reply mails) which comprise the contents of the target mail and the reply mails, the user can not lose the communication record and can not receive a plurality of reply mails, thereby enhancing the use experience of the user.
