Background
The main alarm signal sent by the main alarm equipment of the existing airplane is sent in a pulse mode, and the signals cannot be directly processed by other existing avionic equipment. If the signal is received, a processing circuit is added in each receiving device to convert the pulse signal, and then the pulse signal is used. Because the characteristic of the main alarm signal does not conform to the standard of the universal signal, the current onboard equipment which is universal on the airplane cannot adapt to the pulse signal and cannot be directly utilized.

The invention aims to provide a device which can convert a main alarm signal of a non-standard type on an airplane into a standard level signal universal for the airplane and can be shared by other onboard equipment on the airplane.
The external main warning signal conversion device is composed of a main alarm box 1, a time delay relay 2 and a sharing port 3. The technical scheme is that a delay relay 2 and a signal sharing port 3 are added outside an existing main warning box 1, conversion from a main warning pulse signal to a standard level signal is achieved, and the converted level signal can be identified by an input interface of existing airborne equipment. This is done without modifying the internal circuitry of the onboard devices present on the aircraft.

The device is already installed and used on airplanes and helicopters. The device can reliably convert the main warning alarm signal into a universal level signal after being installed. The signal can be easily recognized by existing electronic devices. Re-development of new electronic devices or modification of existing electronic devices is avoided. The research and development cost is reduced.

The implementation mode is as follows: the external main warning signal conversion device is composed of a main warning box 1, a time delay relay 2 and a sharing port 3, wherein the T end of a warning output interface of the main warning box 1 is connected with the < - > end of a coil of the time delay relay 2, the R end of a power input end of the main warning box 1 is connected with the +/-end of the coil of the time delay relay 2, the +/-end of the coil of the time delay relay 2 is connected with the movable contact < - > 3' end of the time delay relay 2, and the output end < -1 > of the time delay relay 2 is connected with the sharing port 3. Other electronic devices on the machine can be connected with the shared port 3 when needing to use the main warning alarm signal.
The working principle is that when the main alarm box 1 is triggered to alarm, the output port "T" will change from high-impedance state to low-level state, and change alternately, namely output in the form of low-level pulse signal, and the pulse interval is about 1.2 seconds. The low level pulse signal is sent to the minus end of the delay relay 2, the delay relay senses the low level pulse to close the movable contact of the relay 2, the movable contact and the plus end of the relay are both connected with a +28V power supply on the machine, and thus the output end 1 of the relay is communicated with the movable contact to output a +28V high level signal to the signal sharing port 3. The time delay relay 2 is a power-off time delay relay, when the coil loses the pull-in voltage, the movable contact point is delayed to release, and the delay time is adjusted to be 2 seconds and is slightly longer than the period of the main alarm pulse signal by 1.2 seconds. Thus, when the main alarm box 1 sends a low level alarm pulse sequence, the movable contact of the time delay relay 2 will keep the attraction state without releasing. The high signal to the shared port 3 will remain until the main alarm does not send a pulse no alarm. When the next alarm comes, the above process will be repeated. This achieves the conversion of the alarm pulse signal to a fixed level signal.
The key parameter is that the delay time of the delay relay is slightly longer than the output time of the main warning box warning signal pulse. In this way, the output of the main alarm pulse signal converted into the 28V level signal can be realized. And the reference level of the connection of the port 3 point is changed, so that the output of other level signals can be realized for the use of the on-board equipment.

when the main alarm box (1) is triggered to alarm, the output port T of the main alarm box changes from a high-impedance state to a low-level state and continuously alternates, namely outputs in the form of a low-level pulse signal, and the pulse interval is about 1.2 seconds; the low-level pulse signal is sent to the minus end of the delay relay (2), and the delay relay senses the low-level pulse and closes the movable contact of the delay relay (2); the movable contact and the '+' end of the relay are both connected with a +28V power supply on the machine, so that the output end 1 of the relay is communicated with the movable contact to output a +28V high-level signal to a shared port (3);
the delay relay (2) is a power-off delay relay, when the coil loses the pull-in voltage, the movable contact is released in a delayed mode, the delay time is adjusted to be 2 seconds and is slightly longer than the period of the main alarm pulse signal by 1.2 seconds; when the main warning box (1) sends a low level warning pulse sequence, the moving contact of the time delay relay (2) keeps the attraction state without releasing, and the high level signal sent to the sharing port (3) is kept until the main warning does not send a pulse and does not warn; when the next alarm comes, the above process is repeated to realize the conversion of the alarm pulse signal to the fixed level signal.
