Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. The terminology used herein in the description of the invention is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. The term "and/or" as used herein includes any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
Referring to fig. 1, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a power tool 100 includes a housing 10, a driving motor 20 disposed in the housing 10, a working head 30 rotatably disposed on the housing 10, a transmission mechanism 40 connected between the driving motor 20 and the working head 30, a control assembly 50, and a purifying mechanism 60. The purifying mechanism 60 is disposed in the casing 10, and is used for purifying the external air entering the casing 10, so that the purified air cools and dissipates heat of the driving motor 20. In this embodiment, the electric tool 100 is an angle grinder, and the working head 30 disposed on the casing 10 is a corresponding grinding wheel. It should be understood that in other embodiments, the power tool 100 may be another tool such as a polisher, and the working head 30 may be a corresponding polishing head, which is not limited herein.
The housing 10 includes a housing 11 and an end cap 13. The housing 11 includes a first end 110 and a second end 112 in an elongated direction. The end cap 13 is disposed on the first end 110 of the housing 11, and defines a receiving cavity 15 with the housing 11. The first end 110 and the second end 112 of the housing 11 are respectively provided with an air inlet (not shown) and an air outlet (not shown) which are communicated with the accommodating cavity 15. In this particular embodiment, the end cap 13 is secured to the second end 112 of the housing 11 by means of screws. The drive motor 20, the control unit 50, and the purge mechanism 60 are disposed in the housing 11 in this order along the extension direction of the housing 11. The driving motor 20 is disposed in the accommodating cavity 15 and near the second end 112 of the housing 11, for providing a rotational driving force to the working head 30. The control assembly 50 is disposed between the drive motor 20 and the purge mechanism 60 for controlling the drive motor 20. The purifying mechanism 60 is disposed in the accommodating cavity 15 and near the first end 110 of the housing 11.
Specifically, the drive motor 20 includes a rotor shaft 21, and the power tool 100 further includes a blower fan 70 disposed within the housing 11. The rotor shaft 21 is disposed in the housing 11 along the axial direction, and the air guiding fan 70 is disposed at one end of the driving motor 20, which is far away from the purifying mechanism 60, and is located between the air inlet and the air outlet. Thus, when the diversion fan 70 rotates along with the rotor shaft 21, a negative pressure cavity is formed in the whole accommodating cavity 15, external cold air enters the accommodating cavity 15 from the air inlet, flows through the whole driving motor 20 along the axial direction of the rotating shaft 21, and carries heat generated by the driving motor 20 to be discharged from the air outlet, so that cooling and heat dissipation of the driving motor 20 are realized.
The control unit 50 is a main switch unit in this embodiment, and is used to control the on/off of the driving motor 20.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, one end of the purifying mechanism 60 is fixedly mounted on the control assembly 50, and the end cover 13 is pressed against the end of the purifying mechanism 60 away from the control assembly 50 to stably fix the purifying mechanism 60 to the casing 10. The purge mechanism 60 includes a purge body 61, and a front cover 62 and a rear cover 63 provided on opposite sides of the purge body 61.

The purge inlet 612 is disposed along a tangential direction of the purge body 61 and communicates with one end of the purge passage 610, the purge outlet 614 is disposed in an axial direction of the purge passage 610 and communicates with the other end of the purge passage 610 opposite to the purge inlet 612, and the dust discharge port 616 is disposed along a tangential direction of the purge body 61 at a side of the purge body 61 away from the purge inlet 612 and communicates with the purge passage 610.
Further, the purge passage 610 is formed by rotating spirally in the axial direction about the center line of the purge body 61, and the diameter of the purge passage 610 gradually decreases from the purge inlet 612 toward the purge outlet 614, that is, the purge passage 610 is a tapered spiral passage. Thus, when the outside air enters the purge inlet 612 tangentially from the air inlet, it flows to one end of the purge outlet 614 in a spiral rotation manner under the guidance of the purge channel 610, and the particulate matters entrained in the air are settled under the centrifugal force and discharged from the dust discharge port 616.
The front cover 62 includes a ventilation pipe 620 and a fixing edge 622 formed by extending one end of the ventilation pipe 620 in a circumferential direction, the purification body 61 is sleeved outside the ventilation pipe 620 and fixed on the fixing edge 622, and the ventilation pipe 620 is coaxially disposed with the purification body 61 and includes an inlet end 621 communicating with the purification outlet 614 and an outlet end 623 opposite to the inlet end 621. Since the receiving chamber 15 is under negative pressure by the flow-guiding fan 70, the purified air flowing out from the purifying outlet 614 enters the ventilating pipe 620 through the inlet end 621 of the ventilating pipe 620 and rapidly flows into the receiving chamber 15 through the outlet end 623 to cool each component disposed in the receiving chamber 15. In this particular embodiment, the securing edge 622 secures the entire purification mechanism 60 to the control assembly 50 using screws. It will be appreciated that in other embodiments, the purging mechanism 60 may be secured to other components of the power tool 100 by other securing means, such as, but not limited to, the inner wall of the housing 11.
The rear cover 63 is disposed at an end of the purifying body 61 far from the front cover 62, and is plugged at an end of the purifying body 61 where the purifying outlet 614 is disposed, so as to ensure a negative pressure state in the accommodating cavity 15, and further guide the purified air to enter the accommodating cavity 15 from the purifying outlet 614 through the ventilating pipe 620.
The electric tool 100 of the present invention is provided with the purge mechanism 60, and the purge mechanism 60 is provided with the spiral purge passage 610 so that the outside air entering tangentially along the purge inlet 612 is spirally rotated along the inner wall of the purge passage 610 to the purge outlet 614. In this process, particles such as dust mixed in the air are settled by centrifugal force and discharged through the dust discharge port 616, and the purified air flows into the interior of the electric tool 100 through the purification outlet 614 to cool and dissipate heat inside the electric tool 100. In this way, by means of the first purification and then introduction of the external air, the particulate matter is prevented from entering and depositing in the respective components of the electric tool 100, such as the driving motor 20, etc., thereby extending the service life of the electric tool 100.
The foregoing examples illustrate only a few embodiments of the invention and are described in detail herein without thereby limiting the scope of the invention.
