Description

Water-drop type cosmetic comprising polyurethane foam containing water-in-oil cosmetic composition
Background
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a water droplet-type cosmetic comprising a polyurethane foam into which a cosmetic composition containing an acrylic resin is injected.
Prior Art
When the oil-water balance in the skin is disrupted, the skin may become dry or sebum secretion may increase, thereby deteriorating the skin condition. Therefore, it is very important to control the oil-water balance of the skin. In particular, when the skin is dried due to lack of water, keratin is easily formed, the skin is easily damaged by external stimuli and skin problems may occur.
Recently, water droplet type cosmetics are receiving attention as products for replenishing water. The water droplet type cosmetic is formed by covering the surface of water particles with oil or powder, and functions according to the principle of forming water droplets by external physical impact. Thus, when it is coated onto the skin, water droplets are formed and function to replenish the skin. Once it is coated onto the skin, it releases water and the moisturizing effect can be observed visually. In addition, it is advantageous in that it has moisturizing ability, refreshing feeling, and sustainability superior to conventional moisturizing creams.
However, such a water droplet type cosmetic is problematic in that the stability of its formulation is lowered with the passage of time and the change of temperature. Therefore, it is required to produce a cosmetic which has high stability even when temperature changes and exhibits high generation of water droplets.

Detailed Description
The inventors of the present application have determined that when an acrylic resin-containing water droplet-type cosmetic composition is injected into a polyurethane foam having a cell number of 10ppi to 70ppi, a water droplet-type cosmetic having high droplet-forming properties and high stability over time and even when temperature changes occur and being easy to use can be provided, thereby finally leading to the present invention.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
The present invention relates to a water droplet-type cosmetic comprising a polyurethane foam impregnated with a cosmetic composition containing an acrylic resin, wherein the number of cells of the foam is 10ppi to 70 ppi.
The composition is of the water-in-oil (W/O) type and comprises an oil component and an aqueous component. The acrylic resin functions to enhance the binding property of the oil component and the aqueous component through interaction and to improve the adhesion to the polyurethane foam, thereby improving the stability, sustainability, and close touch feeling of the water-in-oil cosmetic composition having low viscosity, and to improve the water droplet effect and water droplet formation property of the cosmetic composition.
The acrylic resin may include at least one selected from the group consisting of: acrylate copolymers, sodium polyacrylate, acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, acrylate/octadecyl acrylate/polydimethylsiloxane methacrylate copolymer, acrylate/polydimethylsiloxane copolymer, isobutyl methacrylate/bishydroxypropyl polydimethylsiloxane acrylate copolymer, glyceryl acrylate/acrylic acid copolymer, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, and sodium polyacrylate starch.
The acrylic resin preferably includes an acrylate/octadecyl acrylate/polydimethylsiloxane methacrylate copolymer and an acrylate/polydimethylsiloxane copolymer, and the weight ratio thereof may be 1: 1.
The amount of acrylic resin contained in the cosmetic composition is 0.1 to 10 wt%, and preferably 1 to 8 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition. If the amount thereof is less than 0.1 wt%, the improvement of the stabilization and the adhesion to the foam may become insignificant. On the other hand, if the amount thereof exceeds 10 wt%, the drop formation property is insufficient, and tackiness at the time of use and a heavy feeling of use may be caused, and further, the stability of the foam may be lowered.
The composition may include an oil component and an aqueous component.
The oil component is composed mainly of a silicone oil, and may include at least one selected from the following: cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, phenyl trimethicone, polydimethylsiloxane, and diphenyl polydimethylsiloxane. The silicone oil is present in an amount of from 5 wt% to 30 wt%, and preferably from 10 wt% to 20 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition.
The oil component may include a UV blocking component to impart a UV blocking function. Specific examples of the UV blocking component may include titanium dioxide, digallacyl trioleate, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor, methyl anthranilate, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, cinoxate (cinoxate), ethylhexyl triazone, octocrylene (octocrylene), ethylhexyl dimethyl p-aminobenzoic acid, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, silicone polymer-15, ethylhexyl salicylate, phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid, homosalate (homosalate), isoamyl p-methoxycinnamate, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, diethyl hexylbutamido triazone, and cresolquzol trisiloxane (drometrizole trisiloxane), and at least one of them may be used.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the water droplet type cosmetic includes a UV blocking component and thus may have a UV blocking function, and the amount of the UV blocking component may be appropriately adjusted according to SPF (sun protection factor).
In addition to the above components, the oil component may include at least one selected from the group consisting of: vegetable oils, such as jojoba oil, rose hip oil, sunflower seed oil, macadamia nut oil, meadowfoam seed oil, and cocoa butter; an ester oil; and hydrocarbon oils. In addition, components generally used in the art, such as stearic acid, hydrogenated polyisobutene, cyclomethicone, tocopherol acetate, diethylhexyl carbonate, and the like, may also be included.
The content of the oil component is preferably 5 to 80 wt%, and more preferably 20 to 50 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition.
The aqueous component consists essentially of purified water and may include at least one selected from: polyhydric alcohols such as 1, 3-butanediol, glycerol, propylene glycol, pentanediol, hexanediol, and diglycerol. Preferably usable are 1, 3-butanediol and/or glycerol.
In addition, the aqueous component may further comprise at least one selected from the group consisting of: sodium chloride, iron oxide, zinc oxide, and titanium oxide. Preferably usable is sodium chloride.
The aqueous component is present in an amount of from 10 wt% to 90 wt%, and preferably from 40 wt% to 70 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition.
The cosmetic composition of the present invention may further include, in addition to the above components, at least one selected from the group consisting of components suitable for typical cosmetics and within a range not interfering with the object of the present invention, such as preservatives, waxes, antioxidants, pigments, colorants, and perfumes.
The present invention relates to a cosmetic comprising a polyurethane foam into which is injected a water droplet type cosmetic composition containing an acrylic resin.
Specifically, the polyurethane foam has a cell number of 10ppi to 70ppi (cell number/inch), and preferably 20ppi to 50 ppi. Here, ppi represents the number of pores per unit size (inch). As the ppi value decreases, the pore diameter is large and the pore number is low. On the other hand, as the ppi value increases, the pore diameter is small and the pore number is high.
If the number of pores is less than 10ppi, it is difficult to manufacture a product because the cosmetic composition may leak out from the injection space in the foam during injection using a needle, thereby reducing workability. On the other hand, if the number of pores exceeds 70ppi, the water droplet-forming property of the water droplet-type cosmetic composition may be reduced.
The polyurethane foam of the present invention is a network-like ether-based polyurethane foam, and is formed by thermally bonding the edges of two foams (a first foam and a second foam) cut to a predetermined thickness, and has an injection space S into which a cosmetic composition can be injected.
The hardness of the first and second pieces of foam is preferably suitable for an appropriate amount of cosmetic composition to be impregnated therein and to seep therethrough. For example, when measured using an FP type durometer available from Asker, the hardness of each foam is preferably set in the range of 40 to 75, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In view of the above range, the amount of the cosmetic composition used can be easily controlled and the feeling of use can become good.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the cosmetic composition is injected into the polyurethane foam in such a manner that the cosmetic composition is injected into an injection space in the polyurethane foam using a needle, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
In particular, since the cosmetic composition can be injected into the injection space in the polyurethane foam, degradation of the composition or change in use feeling due to evaporation of water from the composition and volatilization of the acid and the silicone oil can be reduced.
The present invention can be better understood by the following examples and comparative examples. These examples are set forth merely to illustrate the invention and should not be construed as limiting the appended claims and various modifications and changes may be made. The scope of the invention should also be construed to fall within the appended claims.
