Referring to fig. 1 to 3, a mobile terminal 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first housing 10, a first sealing member 20, a circuit board 50, a first fastening member 60a, a second fastening member 60b, and a second sealing member 70.
The first housing 10 includes a substrate 11 and a first sidewall 12 extending from a periphery of the substrate 11, an outer end of the first sidewall 12 defines an opening 12 a.
The sealing member 20 seals the opening 12a to form a waterproof sealing chamber 10a with the first housing 10. The circuit board 50 is accommodated in the waterproof sealing chamber 10a, and the circuit board 50 includes a pad (not shown).
The first fastening member 60a is disposed on the pad of the circuit board 50. The second fastener 60b passes through the first seal 20 and is connected with the first fastener 60 a. The second sealing member 70 is disposed between the circuit board 50 and the first sealing member 20. The second seal 70 is used to seal the gap between the second fastener 60b and the first seal.
In the mobile terminal 100 according to the embodiment of the present invention, since the second sealing member 70 seals the gap between the second fastening member 60b and the first sealing member 20, water can be prevented from entering the waterproof sealing chamber 10a from the gap between the second fastening member 60b and the first sealing member 20, and the waterproof function of the mobile terminal 100 is achieved.
Specifically, the electronic components of the mobile terminal 100 can be accommodated in the waterproof sealing chamber 10a, the electronic components include the circuit board 50 and the electronic components such as the battery, and water cannot enter the waterproof sealing chamber 10a, so that the electronic components can be prevented from being used normally due to faults such as short circuit, and the service life of the mobile terminal 100 is prolonged.
The first fastening member 60a may be connected to the pad of the circuit board 50 by soldering. For example, the first fasteners 60a are solder-mounted on the pads of the circuit board 50 by Surface Mount Technology (SMT). Therefore, this makes it possible for the first fastening member 60a to be firmly disposed on the circuit board 50, and not to easily fall off from the circuit board 50.
In some embodiments, the first fastener 60a is a stud fixedly disposed on a pad of the circuit board 50, and the second fastener 60b includes a bolt or screw that mates with the stud.
When the mating first and second fasteners 60a, 60b are installed, the first fastener 60a is stationary and the second fastener 60b is tightened into the first fastener 60 a. Therefore, since the second fastening member 60b is a bolt or a screw, the second fastening member 60b can be conveniently tightened, and the assembly efficiency of the mobile terminal 100 can be improved.
Referring to fig. 4, in some embodiments, the bolt 60b or screw 60b comprises a nut and the second seal 70 comprises a sealing washer disposed between the nut and the first seal 20.
In this manner, the second seal 70 is easily accessible and low cost, which may reduce the cost of the mobile terminal 100.
In some embodiments, the mobile terminal 100 includes electronic products such as a mobile phone and a tablet computer.
In certain embodiments, the first seal 20 comprises a waterproof membrane. For example, the first seal 20 may be made of a polyurethane material.
In this way, the first sealing member 20 can prevent water from penetrating the first sealing member 20 and entering the waterproof sealing chamber 10a, which is beneficial to improving the waterproof performance of the mobile terminal 100. In addition, the thickness of the waterproof membrane is less than 0.1mm, which can reduce the thickness of the mobile terminal 100, thereby reducing the thickness of the mobile terminal 100 for the mobile terminal 100 and improving the user experience.
In some embodiments, the first sidewall 12 includes a top surface 122, and the waterproof membrane is attached to the top surface 122.
In this way, the top surface 122 not only can support the waterproof membrane, but also can increase the contact area with the waterproof membrane, so that the waterproof membrane can be more firmly fixed on the first side wall 12.
In one example, when attaching the waterproof membrane, an adhesive may be applied on the top surface 122 of the first sidewall 12, and then the waterproof membrane is attached on the top surface 122, and the adhesive bonds the top surface 122 of the first sidewall 12 and the waterproof membrane, so that the waterproof membrane is fixed on the top surface 122 of the first sidewall 12, and the opening 12a may be sealed.
In some embodiments, the first sealing member 20 includes a base film 22 formed with a through hole 22a communicating with both the waterproof sealing chamber 10a and the outside, and a waterproof breathable film 24 sealing the through hole 22 a.
The waterproof breathable film 24 can realize the ventilation between the waterproof sealed chamber 10a and the outside air, so as to prevent the outside water from entering the sealed chamber 10a, realize the air pressure balance between the sealed chamber 10a and the outside, and ensure the service life of the mobile terminal 100.
When the pressure inside the waterproof sealing chamber 10a is higher than the external pressure, the air inside the waterproof sealing chamber 10a is discharged to the outside through the waterproof breathable film 24, so that the pressure inside the waterproof sealing chamber 10a is equal to the external pressure.
Similarly, when the pressure inside the waterproof sealing chamber 10a is lower than the external pressure, the external air enters the waterproof sealing chamber through the waterproof breathable film 24, so that the pressure inside the waterproof sealing chamber 10a is equal to the external pressure.
Referring to fig. 8, in some embodiments, the through holes 22a include a plurality of through holes 22a with the same size, and the through holes 22a are arranged in an array.
Thus, the plurality of through holes 22a can be balanced to make the air flow more stable, which is beneficial to the gradual flow out of the waterproof sealing chamber 10a through the plurality of through holes 22a when the air pressure in the waterproof sealing chamber 10a is increased.
In addition, the through holes 22a are identical and arranged in an array, so that the through holes 22a are easy to form, the base film 22 with the through holes 22a is easy to manufacture, and the manufacturing cost of the base film 22 can be reduced.
In some embodiments, the base film 22 includes a middle portion 222 away from the edge of the opening 12a and a peripheral portion 224 connecting the middle portion 222 and the edge of the opening 12a, and the through-hole 22a is formed in the middle portion 222.
Thus, the through hole 22a is far from the opening 12a, and the path of water reaching the through hole 22a is far, which is beneficial to avoiding water from entering the waterproof sealing chamber 10a from the through hole 22 a.
In some embodiments, the circuit board 50 includes a wireless communication antenna of the mobile terminal 100, and the pads of the circuit board 50 are connected to the wireless communication antenna.
In this way, the mobile terminal 100 can extend the transceiving end of the wireless communication signal out of the waterproof sealing chamber 10a through the second fastener 60b, so as to improve the transceiving function of the mobile terminal 100. The wireless communication signals of the mobile terminal 100 include one or more of bluetooth signals, network signals, and telephone communication signals.
In one example, the second fastener 60b may enable transmission of WiFi signal data so that the mobile terminal 100 may connect to a WiFi network so that a user may surf the internet to browse desired information.
It should be noted that the first fastening member 60a and the second fastening member 60b are made of conductive materials, so that the function of signal transmission can be realized.
In some embodiments, the mobile terminal 100 further includes a second housing 30 covering the first sealing member 20, the second housing 30 is formed with an antenna window, and the mobile terminal 100 further includes a conductive dome 80, one end of the conductive dome 80 is connected to the second fastening member 60b, and the other end is close to or in contact with the antenna window. The conductive elastic piece 80 is, for example, a copper sheet.
Thus, the antenna window can make the strength of the conductive elastic sheet 80 for sending and receiving wireless signals better, which is beneficial to improving the data transmission capability of the mobile terminal 100.
The antenna window is, for example, a through hole formed in the second casing 30, the through hole may be a plurality of through holes arranged in parallel at intervals, or may be one through hole in a long shape, and in one example, in order to make the appearance of the mobile terminal more beautiful, the through hole of the antenna window may be filled with a decoration, and the decoration may perform signal transmission.
One end of the conductive elastic sheet 80 may be provided with a mounting hole, the second fastener 60b may pass through the conductive elastic sheet 80 through the mounting hole, the second fastener 60b may realize fixation of the conductive elastic sheet 80 when being fastened and connected with the first fastener 60a, and the conductive elastic sheet 80 is connected with the second fastener 60 b.
In addition, the conductive elastic sheet 80 has certain elasticity, so that the conductive elastic sheet 80 can deform when contacting with the second shell 30, and the conductive elastic sheet 80 is prevented from being damaged and losing efficacy.
Specifically, the first casing 10 and/or the second casing 30 may have a rectangular parallelepiped shape, so that the mobile terminal 100 after the first casing 10 and the second casing 30 are assembled has a rectangular parallelepiped shape. In order to make the mobile terminal 100 more beautiful, a corner position of the mobile terminal 100 may be rounded to make the mobile terminal 100 in a rounded rectangular shape.
As in the example of fig. 6, the first housing 10 is formed with a single housing chamber 10b, and the number of openings 12a is also single. As in the example of fig. 7, the first housing 10 is formed with two housing chambers 10b, the two housing chambers 10b being disposed oppositely, and the number of the openings 12a being two.
The first housing 10 and/or the second housing 30 may be an integrally formed structure. Thereby making the sealing effect of the first and second housings 10 and 30 better. In one example, when the first case 10 and/or the second case 30 are made of plastic, the first case 10 and/or the second case 30 may be formed through an injection molding process.
In another example, when the first case 10 and/or the second case 30 are made of metal, the first case 10 and/or the second case 30 may be formed by CNC (Computer numerical control) machining.
The first housing 10 may be a front case of the mobile terminal 100, and accordingly, the second housing 30 is a rear cover of the mobile terminal 100. Of course, the first housing 10 may also be a rear cover of the mobile terminal 100, and the second housing 30 is a front case of the mobile terminal 100.
When the first housing 10 is a front case of the mobile terminal 100, it can be understood that a display component of the mobile terminal 100 is disposed on the first housing 10. As such, the user is enabled to view the content displayed by the display component.
Specifically, the display assembly includes a touch panel, a display screen, and a flexible circuit board 50 connected to the display screen, and the touch panel covers the display screen and the flexible circuit board 50. The display screen may be connected to the circuit board 50 of the mobile terminal 100 through the flexible circuit board 50.
In order to prevent water from entering the mobile terminal 100 from a gap between the touch panel and the first housing 10, a waterproof adhesive may be applied at a connection portion of the touch panel and the first housing 10.
In certain embodiments, at least one of the first housing 10 and the second housing 30 comprises plastic.
Due to the good plastic property of the plastic, the first housing 10 and/or the second housing 30 are easy to form, and the yield of the corresponding first housing 10 and/or the second housing 30 in the production process can be improved.
In addition, since plastic is easily available, the manufacturing cost of the first casing 10 and/or the second casing 30 can be reduced.
In certain embodiments, at least one of the first housing 10 and the second housing 30 comprises stainless steel.
In this way, the first housing 10 and/or the second housing 30 made of stainless steel may make the mobile terminal 100 more beautiful, and in addition, the ductility of stainless steel is better, so that the thickness of the first housing 10 and/or the first housing 10 is thinner, thereby reducing the thickness of the mobile terminal 100.
In certain embodiments, the second housing 30 includes a second sidewall 32 in structural cooperation with the first sidewall 12, the second sidewall 32 forming a sealing structure 40 with the first sidewall 12.
In this manner, the sealing structure 40 may prevent water from entering into the waterproof sealing chamber 10a from the gap between the first sidewall 12 and the second sidewall 32, further improving the waterproof effect of the mobile terminal 100.
In certain embodiments, the first seal 20 seals the opening 12a and extends to the second sidewall 32 to seal the gap between the first sidewall 12 and the second sidewall 32.
As such, the first sealing member 20 may prevent water from entering into the waterproof sealing chamber 10a from the opening 12a, further improving the waterproof performance of the mobile terminal 100.
In one example, referring to fig. 6, an annular gap 10c is formed on the outer side of the top end of the first casing 10, and the peripheral edge of the sealing member 20 is located in the annular gap 10c and seals the gap between the first side wall 12 and the second side wall 32.
In certain embodiments, the second sidewall 32 covers the first sidewall 12.
As such, water flows from the gap between the first and second sidewalls 12 and 32 to the opening 12a, so that a path of water flowing out of the case to the opening 12a is lengthened, and thus the waterproof effect of the mobile terminal 100 may be further improved. In addition, the side surface of the first sidewall 12 is substantially perpendicular to the top surface 122, and the water flowing trajectory is changed, so that the waterproof effect of the components of the mobile terminal 100 is better.
Furthermore, the first sidewall 12 and the second sidewall 32 may be provided with a buckle structure, so that the first casing 10 and the second casing 30 may be mounted and connected in a buckle manner, and the first casing 10 and the second casing 30 are convenient to disassemble and assemble, which is beneficial to improving the assembly efficiency of the mobile terminal 100 and the mobile terminal 100, and reducing the production cost of the mobile terminal 100 and the mobile terminal 100. Of course, the first side wall 12 and the second side wall 32 may be adhered by glue.
In certain embodiments, the sealing structure 40 comprises:
a) an annular groove 42 formed on the outer side surface 124 of the first side wall 12 and an annular rib 44 formed on the inner side surface 322 of the second side wall 32 and matched with the annular groove 42; and/or
b) An annular rib 44 formed on the outer side surface 124 of the first side wall 12 and an annular groove 42 formed on the inner side surface 322 of the second side wall 32 and engaged with the annular rib 44.
Alternatively, the seal structure 40 has three configurations:
1. the outer side 124 of the first side wall 12 is formed with an annular groove 42 and the inner side 322 of the second side wall 32 is formed with an annular bead 44 that mates with the annular groove 42, as shown in fig. 3;
2. the outer side surface 124 of the first side wall 12 is formed with an annular rib 44, and the inner side surface 322 of the second side wall 32 is formed with an annular groove 42 that mates with the annular rib 44, as shown in fig. 2;
3. the outer side surface 124 of the first side wall 12 is formed with both the annular groove 42 and the annular bead 44, and the inner side surface of the second side wall 32 is formed with the annular bead 44 and the annular groove 42 that mate with the annular groove 42 and the annular bead 44, respectively, on the outer side surface 124 of the first side wall 12, as shown in fig. 5.
In this way, the annular groove 42 and the annular rib 44 cooperate to seal the gap between the first sidewall 12 and the second sidewall 32, so as to prevent water from flowing to the opening 12a through the gap between the first sidewall 12 and the second sidewall 32, thereby further improving the waterproof effect of the mobile terminal 100.
In addition, the annular groove 42 and the annular rib 44 have a simple structure and are easy to form, so that the production cost of the mobile terminal 100 can be reduced.
In some embodiments, the annular groove 42 or the annular rib 44 includes a plurality of grooves and is spaced apart from each other in the height direction of the first sidewall 12 or the second sidewall 32.
As such, the plurality of annular grooves 42 and the plurality of annular ribs 44 cooperate to further improve the waterproof effect of the mobile terminal 100.
In some embodiments, the cross-section of the annular bead 44 or the annular groove 42 comprises a circular arc.
