发明背景

制造阴道支架或扩张器的方法
现在参考图1,本发明的一个方面提供了制造阴道支架或扩张器的方法100。
任选地在步骤S102中获得一个或多个测量值。测量值可以涉及患者的阴道的当前尺寸或由于各种医学原因所期望的尺寸。在一些实施方式中,可以由保健提供者视觉上评估尺寸。另外地或可选地,可以利用一种或多种成像装置诸如可膨胀内腔成像仪(例如,如美国专利申请公开号2014/0272221、2014/0276005和2014/0276105中所描述)或各种超声、磁共振、计算机断层扫描、和/或X-射线装置和技术。

阴道支架

阴道支架的插入和移除对于许多患者并且具体而言对于儿童和青少年可能是有挑战性的和/或不舒适的。为了解决该不舒适,本发明的实施方式可以利用如图2B中描绘的可移除手柄208。可移除手柄208和阴道支架200的一个或多个可以包括一个或多个磁铁(例如,4个或8个)诸如稀土磁铁。在一些实施方式中,磁铁可以具有足够的强度以当患者持有可移除手柄208邻近或靠近患者的会阴时从患者的阴道拉出阴道支架200。不受理论的束缚,据信,大约0磅和大约26磅之间(例如,大约0磅和大约5磅之间,大约5磅和大约10磅之间,大约10磅和大约15磅之间,大约15磅和大约20磅之间,大约20磅和大约26磅之间等等)的力将足以从典型患者的阴道移除缩小的阴道支架并且使用磁铁可以跨过会阴产生足够的力。
为了进一步最小化使用者的不舒适,可移除手柄可以有利于磁性支架的膨胀和/或缩小。例如,阴道支架200可以包括与可移除手柄208啮合的位于基座上的一个或多个配件,并且可移除手柄208可以包括互补的第二配件。例如,配件可以位于多个径向布置的磁铁和/或铁磁材料的中心,使得配件通过磁力对准。一旦阴道支架200、可移除手柄208和在其中的配件啮合,流体可以从可移除手柄流动到阴道支架200,用于膨胀。一个或多个阀(例如,单向阀或止回阀)可以密封阴道支架200,防止流体渗漏。在一个实施方式中,一个或多个阀中的一个或多个可以是磁力致动的——优选地在相对低的磁力下——使得当可移除手柄208接近会阴时并且在施加足够的力以移动并取出阴道支架200之前阴道支架200将缩小。在一些实施方式中,可移除手柄208可以包括压力计以向患者提供关于所连接的阴道支架的膨胀程度的反馈。

阴道扩张器
现在参考图4A,本发明的另一个方面提供了阴道扩张器400a、400b、400c,其可以由成型为锥形中空胶囊的刚性、耐用塑料材料构成。可以生产各种尺寸。例如,扩张器400a具有大约20mm的直径和大约70mm的长度,扩张器400b具有大约15mm的直径和大约65mm的长度,并且扩张器400c具有大约10mm的直径和大约60mm的长度。本文公开的阴道扩张器的任一个可以包括如图4A中所示的用于排出来自阴道的流体的中空通道。在某些实施方式中,通道沿着阴道扩张器的整个长度行进。通道的直径不受限于任何特定的直径,但是应当足以使流体进入通道,并且在某些实施方式中足以使流体穿过扩张器。

Claims (8)

1.一种阴道支架系统,其包括:
可膨胀阴道支架,其包括:
弹性外壁;和
位于所述可膨胀阴道支架的基座处的第一配件;和
可移除手柄,其适于且配置用于从患者的阴道插入、膨胀和移除所述可膨胀阴道支架,所述可移除手柄包括第二配件,其与所述第一配件互补并且适于且配置以当将所述手柄连接至所述可膨胀阴道支架时形成基本上流体密封的连接。
2.根据权利要求1所述的阴道支架,其中所述可膨胀阴道支架和所述可移除手柄的至少一个包括一个或多个磁铁。
3.根据权利要求2所述的阴道支架,其中所述可膨胀阴道支架包括磁力可致动的阀,其适于且配置以当将所述可移除手柄靠近所述可膨胀阴道支架的基座放置时使所述可膨胀阴道支架缩小。
4.根据权利要求2所述的阴道支架,其中所述一个或多个磁铁具有足够的强度以通过将所述可移除手柄靠近所述患者的会阴放置从患者的阴道移除所述可膨胀阴道支架。
5.一种阴道扩张器系统,其包括:
阴道扩张器,其包括:
外壁;和
延伸所述阴道支架的长度的中空通道;和
可移除手柄,其适于且配置用于从患者的阴道插入和移除所述可膨胀阴道支架。
6.根据权利要求5所述的阴道扩张器系统,其中所述阴道扩张器和所述可移除手柄的至少一个包括一个或多个磁铁。
7.根据权利要求6所述的阴道扩张器,其中所述一个或多个磁铁具有足够的强度以通过将所述可移除手柄靠近所述患者的会阴放置从患者的阴道移除所述可膨胀阴道支架。
8.一种制造定制的阴道支架或扩张器的方法,所述方法包括:
产生阴道支架或扩张器的3D模型;和
控制3D打印机以根据所述3D模型制造阴道支架或扩张器。
